The Traveling Horseman

The sun's rays shone upon Rainbow's face. She groaned and turned away from the bright light. Burying her face into the soft pillow, she made herself more comfortable. For some reason, her pillow was larger and a bit solid. But soft at the same time. ''I have the best pillows in all of Equestria.'' She thought and drifted back to sleep.

Or more like... she wanted to do that, but her pillow did some movement and she had to readjust herself. But her pillow had other plans and moved away from her. She hit her on the ground. ''Wait... ground? Is that... grass?''

She opened her eyes and looked around. She recognized the Everfree Forest and Fluttershy's backyard. But she did not know why she was there. ''What am I actually slept on?'' She asked herself and looked at her living pillow.

There they were. Traveler leaning against Sprint, who was lying on his side, exposing his belly for her. Traveler had his arms crossed and his hood up, to cover his face. Sprint's head was raised and he was looking at her.

''What the buck?'' Asked Rainbow, totally confused.

Two heads raised and turned to her. Hunter was by her side and yawned at her, showing his white and blade sharp teeth.
Map landed on Traveler's head and he just kept looking at her, waiting her next move.

''What. The. Buck?'' She repeated.

''How is that even possible to you, to smell like some spicy food?''

''GAH!''

Rainbow stumbled away from Traveler's side. He raised his head and Map choose Sprint's head to sit on.
The four traveler started at her, like nothing happened at all.

''Did I... drank too much cider?'' She asked, hoping to Celestia to save her from the awkward situation.

''No, you fell asleep, while I gave you a lecture about Newtomes Physical Laws. I put you amongst us to sleep. Meanwhile, I spent the night with the Night Princess. After I had my own fun, I came back and saw how much fun you have. So I joined.'' Traveler's eyes widened. ''Come ooon... I'm talking like the Element of Laughter.''

Rainbow on the other hand/hoof, was trying her best not to blush. ''Did we? No... we didn't do that... did we?'' She tried to calm down, but she had no idea what happened.

''What did we do last night?'' She asked and hoped for a good answer.

''Slept together... did you know that you're pretty messy while you sleep? Look at my trousers! See? It's sticky. And look at Sprint's side! Fluttershy just groomed and washed him and now he has some sticky liquid on his rear.'' Told her Traveler.

Rainbow was blushing. She had no idea what she did last night and she didn't even drink anything.

''You have some on your mouth too.'' Pointed at her Traveler. And sure enough, some sticky liquid was on her mouth.

She quickly wiped it away with a hoof. She shut her eyes, blushing furiously. After some moment, she opened them and said. ''Don't tell me I had a groupen with you guys!'' She blurted out.

Traveler was taken aback. He wanted to say 'no', but after a night with Luna, he kinda fell back into his old self. He wanted to prank her, but after some thoughts, he remained with an expectable reaction.

''What?''

''You know... doing it with more than one pony...'' Rainbow tried to find a good answer.

''Explain please?'' Traveler kept a neutral face, pretending like he has no idea about this stuff.

Rainbow closed her eyes again and she looked like someone, who's straining herself. In her head, she was fighting with that little voice, that told her to just say it. But she wanted to stay cool and awesome.

But she failed anyway...

''Did we have sex?! For Celestia, please say we didn't do it! Or at least I didn't do it with you!''

The other four stared at her for several moments. After waiting, just enough before Rainbow's head explodes, he spoke up.

''No.''

Rainbow sighed in relief. ''Okay... phew. I'm still cool.''

''Oh and Rainbow?''

''Hm?''

''I'm not his mate...'' Traveler nodded towards Sprint. ''So don't worry, you still have your chance with him.'' He smiled at her, like he's happy to share this with her.

And Rainbow became red again and looked over to Sprint...

And the horse winked at her...

''It's good to see you interested in my work, darling!'' Said Rarity, as Traveler was leaving her house. ''Come back anytime you need something new. Oh! And good luck on your way!'' She called after him.

Traveler turned around to look at her. ''It's good to see you looking at me as an ordinary costomer Element of Generosity. And making my new clothes for free? You helped me a lot and I'm thankful.'' He turned slightly and put his hand on top of Sprint, ready to hop onto his ride. ''I wish you a successful future!'' And he sat on top of the horse.

''Oh, it's nothing.'' Rarity waved her hoof. ''That's what friends for.''

Traveler stopped for a moment. He thought for a few seconds. Does he want to argue with her, about being friends and all this things? He shrugged and allowed himself a smile. ''Go Sprint!''

As he was riding out of Ponyville, the citizens gave him strange stares, but they continued minding their own business. Because they already saw strange things. And stallion riding on a stallion is so natural...

''I'm on a horse.''

''What took you so long? I expected you to appear sooner.''

''I waited for the right time... I'm on an OC.''

''I'm leaving so please, Element of Laughter... get off me!''

''But what about the welcome party? You have to stay, you can't leave the audience hanging there! They expect a party, so give them one!''

Traveler decided not to question her. ''Maybe when I come back.''

''IF you come back.''

''What was that?''

''Nothing...''

And the ponies went from confused, to absolute mind bucked, when they saw the three riding out of Ponyville.

Traveler slowed down at the edge of Ponyville. ''Go back!'' He told her.

Pinkie shook her head. ''I don't want to. The adventure will be more exiting, if I go with you.''

''The adventure will be more risky, if you come with me. Now go back, I have to leave.'' Traveler explained, still looking forward.

Pinkie crossed her hooves and pouted. ''Nope!'' And turned away from him.

Traveler leaned close to Sprint's ears. ''Come on Sprint! Show her how fast can you run!''

''OH NO I FORGOT ABOUT THIS PART!''

And Sprint started sprinting, leaving a green trail and green, flaming hoof marks on the road. Pinkie landed on the ground. Like a cat, she used her unnatural powers, to coordinate herself in the air. She did an epic pose, like she's about to fight, but quickly came back to her role and started bouncing back to Ponyville.

''And not a single buck was given...'' She said happily.

Sprint slowed down and continued just running. Traveler already summoned Map and his scroll, to look at his own map. He had a really big area, already revealed on his map. Lot of cities and forests. Road systems, fields and mountains.
They weren't that detailed, since he or Map haven't seen those. The map only showed, which one is where. ''I'll go to these later...''

In front of him, Canterlot. He was a few hundred meters away. The towers and the gate were clear in sign. The guards were visible, as they did their patrol.
But none of them stopped The Traveling Horseman...

His scroll started shining in purple and his map showed only the city, nothing else. As Map above him was flying, the city started to show more streets and buildings. Then finally, the castle...

He kept riding towards the two, big, golden doors. Not bothered by the lot of snob and nobel ponies, giving him disgusted, scared or angry stares, as Sprint dodged them.

Suddenly, a cart appeared in front of him, pulled by a poor, farmer pony. He jumped over it, by Sprint disappearing and then he summoned him back again on the other side of the cart. He landed on his horse and continued riding.

More ponies blocked his way, so he made Sprint disappear again and he jumped onto the roofs. That's where he approached the castle doors.

From a higher roof, he landed in front of the doors, skipping the long staircase, which was too big to climb. For some reason, the doors were fully open, so he summoned Sprint and rode to the Princess.

Celestia smiled at him as he approached her. He jumped off his horse and Sprint disappeared again.

''Sun Princess! I came here to tell you two things!'' He started. ''First, I'm leaving! Second... your security is under a frog's breech!''

As he said that totally seriously, Celestia just looked at him confused. ''Traveling Horseman! First, I wish you a good luck! Second... you're allowed in Canterlot. Don't be surprised!''

''Then I have nothing left to say and to stay for...'' He was about to turn and leave...

''And where are you going?'' Asked Celestia.

Traveler slowly turned to her...

He thought for a few seconds...

Then...

''North... to the Crystal Mountains...''

Later that day, Celestia received an urgent report. A Royal Guard was sent to find Shining Armor and his wife. Then the Princess sent Twilight and her friends, to take care of the problems.
Luna wanted to go too. She wanted to help the girls and fight next to Traveler.

After Celestia talked some sense into her sister, the two Alicorns looked over to the Crystal Mountains...

Hoping for Traveler, to bump into the girls and help them...

''He must figure this out... or the Empire will fall...''

Here's the goodbye chapter. Not for forever of course, but for a while. Why? I have four really bucking good reasons...
School exams are coming. Before we go to holiday, we have to write a shit load of tests and a few exams. If i pass them, I can continue learning in that school. (One of the best school in Hungary actually, so i have to learn a lot.)

And the other thing is... I need the holiday winter's snow. I think I gave you a really good hint up there. When the winter comes, the snow too. So that will give me the best mood to write the next chapters.

And i have some other stories, that needs some new stuff...

I'm also going to a hungarian brony meeting, before christmas. A Hearts Warming Eve party... after the end of the world. Yeah... I will record the best parts and try to brohoof everyone there. I probably put the video up and gave you all the link. Heh, I can already see myself talking in Hungarian to the others, then I point the camera at myself and start talking in English. Everyone will be like: ''What the buck is that guy doing?''

On another note, my right hand suffered some injury. Long story short, shooting with my new bow, climbing a harsh tree and fighting outside in the snow, with bare hands is not a good idea. My skin is red and rough and kinda stings. So writing kinda hurts with that. But if I get used to that stinging feeling, I will be up to writing normally again. Right now, my hand needs to be bandaged, so the skin grows back... goddess, I'm so bucked up! XD
