Dream World : Part Three - Improvement (Part Two)

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

''Then we FLEEW over the bucking ocean in mid-rut and slAAAMed into the water! And I'm telling you... it was glorious...'' Pyromancer finished telling his time with Lusty Luna, dramatically flailing his hooves around and to the discomfort of the half-sentient animals - mostly to Sprint's discomfort - , the flame pony demonstrated a few positions.

Hunter would have been internally laughing at how the great horse tried to shake the pervert pegasus down from himself, but the ever building pain in his hind-legs, thighs and mid-section soon reached an unbearable level. He was already lagging behind the other three, half-sentient and half-animalistic grunts of pain escaping from him. Map was the only one, who stopped to wait up the limping wildcat, whose whole form reminded the observing eagle about a tiger or some sort. The changes were highly visible, given how he had lost his usual look. His muscles were undefinable, somewhere between Humanoid arm and tiger fore-legs and his paws had been expanded, turning into grappling claws slowly.

The eagle, either because of his own agony-filled state or for good-fellowship, completely turned around to watch his teammate fighting down his overwhelming mutation. Arriving next to Map, Hunter collapsed and let out a painful and forced back roar, muffling the sound of snapping bones and ripping of flesh. Map witnessed, as the tough feral animal's body, changed absolutely. From animal structure, through an indescribable appearance... Hunter's final form revealed itself...

His fur lost its old, pale-grey look and changed to a complete dark, nearly black color. Tiger-like stripes adored his coat, which were pulsating in dark-blue Energy, visibly showing his Power's and his own type of Energy, whilst letting go of short period of flames. The Humanoid like muscle built and skeletal structure fully reached its peak to Hunter's pleasure, resulting in feeling no more pain from inside his body.
His paws were now wielding the look of a Humanoid's feet, yet the fur and sharp nails reminded the inspectors about an animal's appendage.
Grappling claws could be made out on the ends of his fore-arms, in a rather fair size as well.
Strong arms he had and the same could be said about the rest of his body. The tone of his muscles were just simply poking the eyes out, no matter how his coat covered his whole body. The muscles on his neck expanded, adding a finishing touch to his evolving. Blue and feral eyes snapped open and sharp teeth retried back behind his lips, as he stopped growling and stood up tall.

Hunter blinked, flicked his cat-like ear once and started grinning. He wiggled his fingers, inspecting his new claws. Swished his tail and noted how longer it grew, how it kept its cat-like look and how he was able to move it around with ease.
He then started looking around, a rush of excitement inside him, as he realized how tall he was. His height was around Traveler's two meters height, if not taller. In comparison, Hunter seemed to have a larger built, yet Traveler seemed bigger. Either if their muscles were the same size, Hunter had an impressive body, just like Traveler...

The pulsating Energy inside his body eased, unfortunately, not completely. His body just reached his final form and was still getting used to Equestria's Energy, though much easier now. Now, his body was able to take in the Energy in this form of his, transferring it into his own Empty Energy easier, since his body wasn't mutating anymore. It was the final stage, so the Energy was able to be stored away in a stable form and not into a changing one. This was one of the reasons, why the evolving caused so much displeasure to Hunter and it was exactly what the other two was experiencing as well...

Map was about to resume following after the others, when his underside started to burn from an upcoming explosion. A sickening snapping sound could be heard, along with several more noises coming from his muscles, as the eagle's size increased to double his original size. Paralyzed by the unbearable and sudden pain, Map fell to his side, unable to move.

Hunter took a step forward and with the same moment, fell forward. The newly acquired legs weren't tuned yet, no matter how strong they were. Walking on all fours for thousands of years, this new lifestyle was - obviously - new to him. He expected this walking difficulty, yet falling face-first onto the ground, was not in his mind before. Now, he had and standing up again, his legs buckled underneath the pressure and he collapsed, landing on his side.

Map's sudden rush of pain eased down, yet Hunter was still worried about his teammate. He felt ashamed of himself, for not being able to help, but thinking it over, what could he possibly do? He was no expert at Healing Abilities, not even a starter. The only Power he had used before was only his own, mixed with the Enchanting Power Tree's Energy. He was trained to hunt, not to tend to wounds and even when HE got damaged, he ignored those cuts and bruises...

However, he did not give up that easily. He was going to help his teammate, one way or another. With that newly found determination - which was another emotion he discovered - , he attempted to stand up. At first just standing up and getting used to balancing his own weight. Stand up, fall back to comfortable all fours and repeat. The realization that he was still able to walk on four legs, brought him some comfort and he used this discovery as a 'B' plan, if he won't be able to learn the bipedal way.

Map watched in interest, as his teammate slowly got the hang of it. When Hunter fell and stood up, the eagle felt something new. A new emotion, that one, which you feel when you see someone close to you succeeding in a hard task. Pride...

This pride further increased inside Map, when Hunter managed to stay in a standing position AND started walking around with ease. It took him too many tries and the others were probably left them far behind, but if they go with their own pace and not with the speed of a snail, then they can catch up to the others. With that in mind, the Anthropomorphic walked over to Map, picked him up and gave him a perching spot on his right shoulder, holding up his right arm for him. Map hardly stood on the shoulder, but placing his wings on Hunter's head and into one his held up claw, he found his balance. Also, in this position, his wings stopped aching so painfully, as the feathery appendages had nothing to do, but expand to their final size.

After making sure his teammate was safe and stable, Hunter began walking after Sprint and Pyromancer, feeling incredibly happy to have his final form done.

His life as an Anthropomorphic was about to start...

''Are you sure it is wise to try such Technique?''

''It's a useful one. If I can't manage this then I'm done... ''

Traveler activated his Primary Armor, though its durability wasn't the same as before. Ever since he got stuck by the Elements of Harmony, his most used and prior defense has been worsening. This was one of the explanation, why he wasn't able to take on King Sombra alone, then was forced to resolve to berserker methods, in order to vanquish the existence of the dark pony. Also, his short meeting with Balance did little to serve his emotions to the better and instead, it only stirred up old memories, along with awakening his buried away sins.

Unfortunately for Luna, she couldn't help him. Equestria's Energy acted stubbornly, not wanting to give into Traveler's wants. For thousands of years, he had been used to hollow and empty Energy in different worlds. They were lifeless and easy to manipulate when they were in usage. If not completely 'dead' , then just submissive or slight-free Energy types.
And there he was, in Equestria, where he pretty much had to earn the proper usage of the Energy. It was inside him, yes, but bending it to his own will was what caused him troubles...

Great troubles at the past events and now...

''Ghh... naaAAAGGHHH!'' *swusss* ''I'm done, I'M FUCKING DONE!''

Traveler picked himself up from the shallow water, thankfully surviving the Dash without any damage. He nearly got it, yet the result was faltering his hopes. Energy collected under his Primary Armor, pushed up against the layer of said armor, he jumped up, slammed the collected Energy against his Primary Armor and into his back, launched himself forward and that was it. He did it millions of times, dodged many incoming strike from many foes and he always landed perfectly.

But not this time, for the Energy used for pushing him away with amazing speed, it completely pushed him out of balance. First went his upper body, then his legs got launched upwards, instead of forward and at the same time with his upper body. Thus, it resulted in a rolling, spinning and tumbling heap of body parts, rocketed away from the Night Princess, who just listened to the Horseman's color language, as he was walking back to his starting spot.

''- while you uppercut an undead pit of doom... bázdmeg!'' Traveler added the last vulgar word with venom in his mouth.

''Are you done?'' Luna asked, patiently waiting out his increased rush of negative emotions. She knew it wasn't his style to tell the world all of those nice things in one breath.

''... no...'' He stomped once in the water, literally kicking out the last of his frustration. ''NOW, I'm done...''

And with that, he dropped onto his rear, not even registering that he just splashed water into the patient Princess' face...

Sprint heard the approaching sound of a bipedal creature and he turned around, expecting his master to be there. However, he did not see Traveler anywhere, but a tall Hunter, with a larger Map on his shoulder. Sprint was taken aback by the spectacular sight he found behind himself. If his teammate evolved so early, then that meant his turn was getting closer...

Hunter arrived behind Pyromancer, who just finished talking about his fun time with Lusty Luna and was withering the poor horse's brain...

''Tell me about your sex-life.'' The flame pony asked, turning around.

Only to come face to face with Hunter...

''What in the glorious penis happened to you?!'' He then accidentally glanced lower. ''Agh! Take that away from me!'' He jumped away from him, right into the bushes. ''Have some dignity!'' He cried out, failing to regain his balance on the branches.

The other three just stared, re-taking what he just said and trying to figure out if he was serious...

At last, Pyromancer crawled out from the bushes, tearing down the branches from them, as he stumbled out from behind the leaves. Meanwhile, Hunter realized he was indeed naked and to top it of, he was completely exposing himself, from the way he was standing. Quickly, he approached Sprint, who took a step back, not being sure what his naked teammate will do. But he understood him at last, when the Anthropomorphic placed Map onto the his back instead, then he proceeded to turn away from them.

To Pyromancer's disbelief, Hunter just turn towards him, when the pegasus finished brushing himself off from remaining leaves and dust and laid his eyes upon the predator. Covering his eyes and turning to the side, he spoke up. ''Okay, I can't be in the company of a dick, so I'm just gonna go and get some clothes for ya'. Be right back!''

And he was gone, nearly setting the vegetation on fire, with his signature flame streak...

''Memories means past. Past means present. Present means future. Future means adventure. Adventure means danger. Danger means violence. Violence means fighting. Fighting means disharmony. Disharmony means disaster. Disaster means chaos. Chaos means disturbance. Disturbance means unpeaceful. Unpeaceful means incompleteness. Incompleteness means eternity. Eternity means...''

''Destiny?''

''No...''

''Alicorn?''

''We're looking at it from multi-universe aspect. I can't stick to just one world or universe.''

''Immortality- uhm... we have been over that one as well...''

''Indeed...''

Luna and Traveler were discussing the Never Ending Cycle of Life and Existence, seemingly stuck at one point. They've been over 'death', 'immortality', 'rebirth', all the way from the start, which was 'will'. But no matter how close or far were they from the 'end' of this cycle, Luna was delighted to see a better side of Traveler's. It was like his mood was swinging from negative to positive and stops at a certain emotion. Now, he was calm and thoughtful, unlike the previous time, when he was angry and nearly hysterical...

Besides, Traveler was calming down. She may did not know how his mood swung, but maybe keeping him under stressless moments, she might be able to control him...

Show some more affection and he will be all yours...

The words of her unknown self brought inconvenient fantasies to her, upon thinking about controlling him. What was Lusty Luna talking about? Pff, like she was going to seduce Traveler and take advantage of his state...

Only in her deepest pit of her mind, she pondered over the idea...

While regaining herself, little did she notice, the flaming pegasus on the beach, coming to a tripping stop. Eating a mouthful of sand and spitting it out, he lowered himself to the ground, ready for the stealth mission. Traveler was distracted with his own thoughts and Luna was internally beating herself, for just even for a second, she dared to think about such inappropriate topics...

Thankfully, Traveler had left his backpack on the beach, containing all of his additional clothes. Fishing out an underwear and Traveler's previous brown trousers, he waltzed back inside the forest, doing spanking motions towards Luna's rear, before disappearing.

And the Princess of the Night herself turned around, looking around doubtfully...
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Lonely branches tried blocking his path, as he speed past every obstacle. The vegetation had no match with Sprints strength and speed, as the powerful horse tore everything out of its place in his way. His mane and tail was flaming from his green colored Energy, leaving little trail behind himself. His wild dash through the forest was targeted towards that certain field, where they had originally appeared first. The corners of his eyes were obscure, blurry from the high speed and his focus was on the road before him. He had to get out of the forest. He needed the space!

After the others regained themselves from a momentary scare, they gave chase after their teammate. Hunter ran on all fours, gladly finding out that he could still lower himself to full animal state, even with his new skeletal structure. Map was perched on top of his back, ducking under leaves and branches, while holding himself onto the head of the Anthropomorphic Hunter, whose focus was on the reason of their chase.

Not so long ago, Sprint let out a neigh, which indicated his pain. Then, all of a sudden, his Energy erupted and with a loud bang, he started his mad sprint through the forest, accelerating up to his near-top speed under seconds. While the display was impressive, it closely rewarded the other two in an unnecessary heart attack. Not making any sense of Sprints actions, a sense of worry took hold of their emotions, gaining them a new emotion and promoting them to run after their most definitely evolving teammate.

And it was exactly the case, as Sprint felt something coming to the surface in any second. It was like an immense amount of pressure, wanting to erupt from inside him. His muscles tensed and trying to force him into a halt, his instincts told him to keep going until he reaches a place, where he won't create absolute destruction around himself. The only fear he sensed inside himself, was the fear of hurting his teammates. His own safety was not in danger, not even in the slightest. Aside from the agonizing pressure, he knew that the outcome will be fine, as long as he kept a distance between himself and his teammates.

Literally blasting out from between the woods, Sprint kept on running, higher and higher up the hill, wanting to reach its top. A foreign need of freedom clouded his mind, telling him to get ready for an unforgettable moment in his long life. He felt it. Something new will await him and it meant a promising future AND a useful feature as well...

Hunter came to a grinding halt after leaping out from inside the woods, getting a clear picture about Sprint, who was just reaching the top, green Energy swirling around him and gathering more from around himself. Map lowered himself behind Hunter's head, as much as he could, given how much he had grown so far.

And right there... the two witnessed the explosion, while Sprint experienced how it feels to suddenly receive the absolutely evolved form of his...

As the explosion of Energy came, so did his majestical wings, pupping out from his back. The jolt of incredibly painful sensation caused him to jump up and start flapping his wings furiously, doing his best to shake out the numbing aching from the two new appendages.
However, the lack of knowledge about flying urged him to stiffen his dark-grey wings, allowing him to safely glide down from that heigh he reached, after the Energy explosion launched him skyward. The trip down from the air, seemed to be just as painful, as the aching in his feathery appendages...
Tearing and snapping sounds in a row, his body morphed into a new one, losing his old shape. Instead, glancing down to his hooves through cringing eyes - which were larger than usual - , he astonishingly noted how they were shaped...

The words rang inside his mind...

Equestrian Pegasus...

The other two arrived by the top of the hill, looking down at the landing pegasus. They did a double check, if their fantasies were playing tricks on them, but however they looked, it didn't change the fact: Sprint evolved into a pegasus...
Further more, not just any kind of pegasus, but an Equestrian one on top of that. No A'nforian touch, only the wide limbs, toned body and large wings... so overall: Better...

His landing wasn't the most graceful one, with that stumble at the end, however, something shifted in his mind. He caught on what had just occurred moments ago and with that, his thoughts were started to be filled with images of maneuvers of flying moves. Picture after picture, he rapidly received the basics of proper flying methods, to the point, where he felt a migraine finding its place in his head. The last session of pain, living up for the saying: Learning at a cost...

An agonizing experience for the instant knowledge, yet one, which definitely worth it. Electrical sensation made his legs to buckle under his weight, as the received flying lessons got calculated inside his body. His heart rate increased dangerously, like the missing flying moments of his long life crashed down upon him in a second. Tingling sensation crawled up to the very tip of his wing feathers, the muscles' inside them literally feeling the high velocity from the 'past'.
Meanwhile, as the heart rate of his reached a threatening level, his blood flow affected the headache as well. Literally, he felt the knowledge carving itself into his mind and a vein pushed itself to the surface on his temple. It was a miracle he was still conscious and Sprint praised whatever was faith planning on his future, for letting him have his head still on and not exploded...

And then... numbness... blissful, painless numbness...

He had never experienced such a relief before, nor that peculiar feeling inside himself. Standing up slowly, afraid and alarmed for another series of pulsating pain or further evolving, he couldn't quite place this sensation anywhere. He simply felt highly comfortable, even though he just received a pair of new body parts...

Upon thinking about the new limbs, he looked back at them, finding their current limp position irritating. Putting an end to the unpleasant pulling in the base of his wings, he folded them against his sides, noting how easy it was to do. Like he had it inside him ever since he has been alive...

Meanwhile, on top of the hill and looking down at his teammate, Hunter picked up the oncoming of a certain random pegasus, who was trotting up the hill towards them. The Anthropomorphic gladly noted that his senses were just as sharp, if not better than before. He even predicted correctly the incoming projectiles from behind, as Pyromancer threw the garnered clothes onto his back, carelessly flopping himself onto the ground next to them.

''Sup? Wait, I know the answer. US!'' He faked-laughed at his own joke, taking an oblivious glance around. ''And where's the Last of Us?''

While Hunter put on the comfortable underwear and trouser, pushing them low enough for his tail, but high enough to allow his hands to be free and not to be occupied by holding them up, he kept his gaze fixed on the pegasus down the hill. He patiently waited until the other pegasus next to him, finally picks up on what was going on a little lower than their heigh. To his bad luck, said pegasus wasn't one to accept such passivity...

''English, mother bucker, do you speak it?'' He received only the silence of the night. ''Ignore me one more bucking time, I dare you, I dare you, I double dared you mother humper!'' He kept on going, coming up with new ways to get his point through, all the while getting closer to Hunter's ears.

The poor half-cat half-humanoid - to his misfortune - realized there, that his hearing improved as well...

His unpleasant revelation was followed by a question, then a lick on his ears. ''You hear me? Bleagh.''

It was enough and Hunter took hold of his head, the claws enveloping the whole top of the pegasus' head and forcing it to be turned towards the second pegasus at the scene, who was busy shrugging his shoulders and testing his body parts. Pyromancer stared, failing at finding a proper logical point to the now pony-like Sprint, who was also a pegasus all of a sudden. He only spent just a good twenty or more minutes away and that three already did something unbelievable...

''Cool...'' The only thing the pegasus said, before bolting towards Sprint. ''Heeeeyyyyy~!''

Sprint paid zero attention to him, looking troubled by his new appendages. Every time he started moving them, his mind immediately caught up on what he was doing, promoting him to shut down the wing movement. He had the moves, the methods, the required strength and speed, and in an overall, the basics. However, his current activity seemed too out of ordinary for his taste, thus ending his attempts at staying air-born for more than a few seconds...

''Awww, I thought we could fwy together like fwends...''

Put on an acting pout on his face, Pyromancer, crossing his hooves for extra effect...

And that certain effect was for making Sprint hate faith for leaving him alive with the random pony...

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

An awkward silence dominated the air between Luna and Traveler. The two were idly floating around in the water, the waves merely washing away the uncalled situation's stress. For the Horseman, it was only of the irritation which prevented him from absolute relaxation, leaving him oblivious to... embarrassing matters inside the Night Princess' head.

She couldn't help, but hear the words of her alternate self, haunting her thoughts for who knows how long now. It wasn't just once, when she found herself fantasizing, on top of that. Images of him, treating her in a way she had never been treated before... she shivered upon the idea and she quickly tried distracting herself.

''You said this Avatar have been with various creatures. What kind of creatures do you prefer to be with?'' She asked him out of curiosity, only later realizing the subject of the question. This brought her a sudden thought, that maybe, Lusty Luna was not an alternate version of her, but a part of her? Her own self, who had been locked away deep inside her very being and somehow got called upon to this Dream World, only to distract her?

It was a possibility, but why did she want to blame somepony else for this, was a mystery for her...

''I heard rumors about his interest, yes. Apparently, he claims that Elves are to his fancy and a personal favorite for him... which is confounding, if I take the other rumors into account: He does not feel, lacks emotions and his actions are done without the blink from his eyes, so bed activities cannot bring pleasure for him. Honestly, I cannot decide if the rumors are true or not...'' He shook his head lightly, not one to splash water to the sides in such a peaceful moment. He did not realize, but the question distracted him from the rage inside him enough, to welcome the rocking of the waves and calm his nerves.

Equestria's Energy was a pain to get used to... both mentally and physically...

''As for the question... well, Anthropomorphics and Elves, the same as with Balance... however, I've been with Humanoids mostly, with normal skin. Not as much as that beast man, but enough times... even if I am thousands of years old. My A'nforian life and his are entirely different, you see. While I'm a free Spirit, he is an unknown creature, bound to an unfair faith... another reason why I cannot stay mad at him, in case you were wondering... Hmm...'' He lazily looked over the Princess, raising an eyebrow. ''Why do you ask?''

''It just flew through my head and what do you know, I ask it out loud. Odd, isn't it?'' Luna surprised herself, by managing to kill out the nervousness in her voice. A close call, it was and only this time, she was glad for the stubborn Energy in Equestria, for bringing 'misery' upon Traveler. At this moment, she highly preferred him in this state, not working on one-hundred percent...

A wave of rippling water went through the two, avoiding their attention...

''Ah-am, I understand.'' Traveler replied tiredly and sighed. ''I sense the intermittent entering and exiting from this disturbed state of mine. Right now, I would say, I'm out... but I'm not sure. However I will react to something or whatever I will say... I am truly sorry, in advance.''

Luna smiled at him, shaking her head. ''Hmhm, I understand Traveler and do not worry. You are doing great, believe me.'' Her words were sincere, truly seeing the Horseman as a strong individual. ''I can only mourn for that Equestria, where The Balance is as of right now.'' She half-joked, planting her gaze on the waves, whilst in her imagination, she pictured the chaos in a different Equestria.

She thanked the Creator, for bringing The Traveling Horseman into their Equestria, no matter how much she could relate to the Avatar...

Traveler tilted his head, frowning. ''Hmm... I have to disagree on that one. I doubt he ever got the effect of the Elements of Harmony, nor the Power of Love. On top of that, he can only fake his emotions, not mean any of them. I suspect he is doing way better than me.''

''Do you think he had any difficulties adjusting to the Equestrian society? Considering his methods, I can easily see him fleeing from the wrath of my sister.'' Luna pointed out, definitely having a low opinion about The Avatar.

Traveler chuckled, realizing he had forgot to mention a little detail about the target of their topic. ''Funny you mention your sister. You see, she was the one, who saved young Balance's life-''

An ear bleeding thunder interrupted the Spirit...

Traveler jumped up from the shallow water, activating his Primary Armor. His Spell only covered up certain body parts of him properly, while the others remained unprotected. The Night Princess hopped up into the air, hovering in one place, with a charged up horn, ready to engage in battle. The two looked around in wild confusion, working on finding the source of the sudden bang.

The silence was disturbed, as the great ocean slowly lost its size...

In the distance, the water was flowing down to an endless void, disappearing from the constructed Dream World. Darkness took up the 'cleared' up space, consuming up the environment. Like a wall of shadows, everything was falling apart, the once serene night taking a frightening turn.

''What the Hell is going on?!'' Traveler shouted over to Luna, hoping that she may has any solution to this disaster. He was everything, but not capable of handling a reality, nor in the shape of doing magical activities.

''The Dream World is falling apart! Somepony interfered with our connection!'' She shouted back, the sound of the falling water getting louder from the distance.

The rumbling could be heard from every direction, as the earthquake shook the water, ground an the mentally, physically and literally unstable Spirit...
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Sprint started to get the impression from life, that fate was playing a cruel joke on him...

First, he had to suffer through his evolving process, never ever feeling such pain before. Then when he thought no more harm will be delivered to him and he could experiment with his new wings, a flaming pegasus happened, telling him annoying encouragements. While he got over it and managed to ignore the irritating externalities, at last, he got the short chance to try out his new ability and take advantage of this possibility. He failed many times, however, he did not give up on staying air-born for more than a few seconds. The single thought of flying pumped his mood to keep trying, bringing joy finally to the poor stallion...

All of this was crushed, just like the mountains in the distance, when all Hell broke out...

Now, the foursome were running for their lives, away from the collapsing world's uncalled wrath. While Pyromancer crashed through branches, spitting out hoof-ful of leaves from his mouth, all of them landing on the right side of Sprint - for the poor stallions dismay - he was running on the left side of Pyromancer. The new pegasus did not dare to take off, in fear he might crash and be consumed by the unknown force behind them. However, this did not stop him from using the feathery appendages to propel himself in additional help.

Map, in the same way as before, was perched on top of Hunter's back, holding onto his head. However, the wild Anthropomorphic ever so slowly felt his teammate getting heavier and heavier and soon, Hunter was unsure about Map's position on his back. It was like four legs were on his back, growing larger by the time they spent on catching up with the others. Hunter followed the trail of broken and damaged branches and trees, kicking up the dirt behind himself.

His steps were getting heavy, running with an ever growing eagle on his back started to become embarrassingly exhausting. Map was just an eagle, how heavy could he be? Hunter could only keep pushing his strength, the only sound reaching his ears were the heavy thumps of his strained sprinting and grunts.

Then... there was the moment of relief and silence...

Just as he was about to fall over from his lost balance, instead of hitting the ground, he hit nothing. Thin air, all around him, as he wildly tried to grasp onto something. The blurry vision from the fatigue was gone and he dared to take a glance downwards, risking getting his head hit terribly, if the potential fall was just delayed for a reason...

The ground below him gained distance...

Talons junked him upwards, from under his arms and he hang onto a pair of claws in the air, with a blanked mind...

The source of his recovery was the blood-curling scream, emitted from his evolved teammate...

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

''Here we are and get ready for calling back the other two, man!'' Upon hearing Pyromancer's call, Traveler and Luna turned their heads towards the source of his sound.

Traveler, who has completely forgot about his companions, had a sudden rush of grief. Horror plastered over his features, as he realized his lacking ability to dismiss Sprint, who just arrived close to them in the water. Worry took hold of his emotions and he felt his heartbeat increasing, as pictures of his hurt friends popped up before him repeatedly. He may needed some support, but causing misery or in the worst case scenario, losing his closest company, whom had grown on him tightly, was certainly not on his wish list. He took the pain, instead of his best friends. It was a golden rule for him...

''Hunter! Map!'' He cried out, sounding desperate.

''Hold on!'' Luna screamed through the harsh wind, which have started picking up on its power.

''Where are they?!'' Traveler took hold of Pyromancer's shoulders, his eyes wide and in full panic.

The flame pegasus was cut off, when a bird-like screech sounded off from between the woods, followed by a loud growl from a feral animal friend. A momentary wave of relief washed through the Horseman, before he spotted the two animal approaching... in mid-air...

''Wha- whooOAAAH!'' Was all he could let out, before the tornado picked him up and carried him towards the stars.

Everyone else followed suit, either screaming constantly or letting out something else. Sprint tried taking control over his afloat, which resulted in a stomach-tumbling series of flips, spins and uncontrollable laughter from a certain blue pegasus. Said pegasus, listening to the Angel of the Night's advice, held onto a certain part of her, which - to his delight - she did not notice. Luna could only stare forward, - not back, where the recently got laid Pyromancer was hanging onto her flanks - in order to maintain her balancing, while she was approaching the very top of the tornado.

Map - even with his great wing muscles - couldn't help, but give into the strong force of the air. The violent tornado ripped Hunter out from his claw's grasp, resulting in a yelp from the half-man, half-cat-like Spirit. The two followed suit after the other four, getting quickly closer to the blinding light by the end of the tornado.

''We're close now!'' Shouted back Luna, attempting to calm the others down.

''Oh, I surely am.'' Nodded to himself Pyromancer, taking in the firm texture and the beauty of the two half-moons in front of him.

''WHOOOAAAAH!'' Traveler shouted, confounded and disoriented from all the hectic moments all of a sudden.

Then... they reached the Light...

The exit... from the Dream World...

Anthropomorphics: A'nforian race, whose appearance are between a certain kind of animal and a Humanoid. Half-animal, half-Humanoid, if you will. They can have fur, wings, horns, non-Humanoid face features, hands, feet and so on. As long as they had a touch of animal appearance, they were considered as Anthropomorphics or Anthro, for short...

***

Healing: Healing up the wounds slowly, but surely.
It is usually used in the form of an Ability, but as a Spell, it is less distracting. There is no numbing feature in the vanilla Healing, so the process could be painful. (Broken bone snaps itself back to place and gets healed up. Only painful until the healing is done and only after that, it is still aching on the spot.) Only other kinds of Restoration Techniques have some Side Effect, which numbs the spot, so the healing won't be painful.

ATTENTION: Every Restoration could only make the wound, bruise or any kind of visible damage to disappear and leave no pain behind itself, if the taken damage gets tended to quickly. (EXAMPLE: A two years old cut will remain slightly visible, but the pain will be gone, if you haven't got used to it already.) (EXAMPLE: Broken leg won't receive any healing for a long time, then you will be limp for the rest of your life or at least will be walking strangle and without any pain.)

Healing Spell: You charge it up and make sure that it will have enough Energy in it and you won't get interrupted. If you didn't have enough Energy for the full healing, then you have to cast the Spell again, repeating the process until you are done or you got the needed Energy in one go.

Healing Ability: You are losing Energy from the core and not from your hands, where you had collected the Energy from the core. You won't have to cast it, only focus on sending the Energy into the Healing. However, the pain could make you lose your focus, so in this case, a Spell is much easier, but unstable and hardly predictable...

Author's Note

Now that is what I call a properly written chapter. Shit, I still can't believe how I wrote the older chapters. All of them were careless and just badly written. I mean, you don't want to hear a teenager telling a story and explaining things with the same words and sentences like: ''Just because I fucking feel like it and that I'm breaking the forth-wall, no matter how overused it is''
No... just no. THIS right here, is how I write today and this is the right writing style. It may effect the comedy, but awkward moments will replace those 'comical' moments... I'm not a funny guy...

It's the 10th of August... remember this date!

Now, I hope you actually enjoyed the story now, given the level of description and BELIEVABLE interaction between Luna and Traveler... I can only keep bashing myself for writing everything poorly...
Let me know what you think of this writing style. Did you like how I explained the magical parts? What do you think of the characters now, having ACTUAL personalities? Communicate me, please, for I receive little feedback!

Have a wonderful night!
