“That looks so cool!”

Arctic was sitting in the park with the Crusaders. He was showing the three his ki. Apple Bloom had asked Arctic to show the other two Crusaders his ki, like he did with her when they first became friends. Scootaloo and Sweetie hadn’t seen Arctic demonstrate his Ki, except for when he flies.

Arctic moved his body in a way the made it seem like he danced. Small energy balls flowed and danced around him. Even his body gently glowed from a bit of his aura shrouding him.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before!” Said Sweetie Belle.

“And cool!” Scootaloo said with a giant smile and bright eyes. That is, till she caught herself and coughed a bit. “Well, not as cool as Rainbow Dash, but still cool!”

Arctic just chuckled hearing that.

“Thanks you three. Maybe one day I could teach you three how to use ki like I do.”

“Really?!” Shouted the three fillies in unison.

“I don’t see why not.” Arctic said.

The three fillies jumped around and cheered in excitement at the idea of learning to use ki. Just then, they were cut off by the loud sound of a scream.

Like a burst of speed that rivaled Rainbow, Pinkie charged around the park, panicking.

“Twitchy tail! Twitchy tail! Something’s gonna fall! Something’s gonna fall!”

Pinkie then spotted Arctic and charged over to him. Jumping up high, she clutched him tight before looking at him with panicked eyes.

“Take cover Arc! My tail’s-a twitching! Something’s gonna fall!”

The Crusaders, having stopped cheering, heard Pinkie and all ran off taking cover under one of the tables. Twilight and Spike soon came up, catching Arctic’s attention.

“Hey Twilight.”

“Hey Arctic.” Said Twilight as she waved at.

“Hey little brother.” Arctic said sticking out his fist.

“Hey big brother.” Spike said giving Arctic a fist bump.

“Now, what’s Pinks freaking out about?” Arctic asked watching Pinkie run around still screaming.

“Pinkie’s freaking out, because her “Pinkie Sense” is telling her something’s gonna fall.” Twilight said.

“Pinkie Sense? What’s that?” Arctic asked.

“I don’t know, but according to her, different things happening to different parts of her body tell her something’s gonna happen.” Twilight explained. “There’s no way something like that could happen. It’s just not possible.”

Arctic could tell Twilight was a bit frustrated. He knew she was a bit of a pony of science. And he had a feeling she didn’t believe in this Pinkie Sense thing purely because she couldn’t explain it and there was no scientific reason for this happening. But, to be fair, Arctic himself didn’t quite believe it. Though, judging by the Crusaders reaction as well as the reaction of the few ponies in the park who also booked it, this Pinkie Sense thing was legit.

“Twi, maybe Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense is a thing to be taken seriously.” Arctic said.

Twilight blanched and snapped her head to Arctic.

“Arctic, don’t tell me you believe this “Pinkie Sense” thing.” Twilight blurted out.

“Well, I mean…”

Before Arctic could say anything, Pinkie clung onto Arctic with a desperate look.

“Arc! You have to put up a barrier quick!”

“Uh, okay.” Arctic said, a bit unsure.

Raising his hand he tapped into his magic. A big glowing blue ring with a snowflake in the center appeared before his fingers and quickly he created a giant barrier around himself, Pinkie, Spike, Twilight, and the Crusaders.

“Look out below!!”

Just then, in a streak of color, Rainbow Dash barrel down to the ground, hitting it hard and kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Once the dust cleared a dazed and pained Rainbow sat in a crater.

“Up! My tail stopped twitching. That’s what was gonna fall!” Pinkie said with a giant smile.

“Hmm.” Arctic hummed.

Getting up and shaking access dust off her, Rainbow flew back up.

“Jeez. That could’ve gone better. What’s up guys.”

“Hey Rainbow.” Pinkie said with a smile.

“What were you doing that landed you here?” Arctic said lowering the barrier.

“I was trying a new trick for when I finally get into the Wonderbolts.” Rainbow said with an overwhelming sense of confidence oozing from each word. “By the way, what was up with the barrier?”

“Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense was tellin’ her somethin’ was gonna fall. And you were what fell.” Apple Bloom said.

“Oh. Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense never fails.” Rainbow replied with a smirk.

“Come on Rainbow. Surely you don’t believe in this Pinkie Sense thing too.” Huffed Twilight.

“Look, Twi, I get you wouldn’t quite understand it, but Pinkie’s Sense are always true. If they’re telling somethings gonna happen, it’ll happen.” Rainbow said. “Heck, there was one time Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense told her somepony was gonna be sick and wouldn’t be able to celebrate their birthday, so Pinkie took the party to them. It resulted in most of the town getting sick, but still. Plus, her sense told her this, two weeks before the pony even got sick.”

“I remember that day.” Pinkie said. “It was so much fun, even if I ended up in bed all week with the sniffles.” Pinkie said with a chuckled. Arctic just lightly honked the pink mare on the head and smiled. Pinkie also smiled at this and giggled.

“There’s just no way random twitches can tell somepony what’s going to happen.”

“Well, it just does. And sooner or later, you’ll believe in my Pinkie Sense.” Pinkie said booping Twilights snoot before bouncing away. Leaving the other to watch her go.

Zecora and Tree Hugger were sitting within their home relaxing once a knock sounded at the door.

“Oh? We have visitors.” Said Zecora. “Do come in.”

Twilight, Spike, and Arctic, came in.

“Sup guys.” Said Tree Hugger.

“Hey Hugs.” Said Arctic as he fist/hoof bumped Tree Hugger before hugging her then hugging Zecora.

“Always a pleasure to see my dear friends.” Zecora said hugging Arctic back, then hugging Twilight and Spike. “Now then, tell me, what brings you all in today?”

“Zecora, I needed to ask you something.” Twilight said. “It’s about something Pinkie says she has something she calls her “Pinkie Sense”. She says that multiple different things happening to different parts of her body, tell her somethings gonna happen. I wanted to know if you knew anything about it.”

After hearing and processing what was said, something came to Zecora.

“Perhaps it is reminiscent to what all Earth ponies, even some zebra, feel in certain situations.” Zecora said.

“What do you mean?” Twilight asked.

“Many earth ponies get certain feelings in their body whenever danger is near. It only really happens with Earth Ponies and even Zebras as a defense mechanism. Pegasi sorta have this. Their feathers puff out and eyesight briefly enhances. Unicorns, also sorta have it. It shows itself when a unicorns horn begins to crackle with magical mana, alerting them to nearby danger. Perhaps with Pinkie Pie, this defense mechanism is greatly heightened.” Zecora explained.

Twilight raised an eyebrow.

“That can’t possibly be true. Ponies can’t just do that.” Retorted Twilight.

“If I remember correctly, you mostly lived in Canterlot, yes?” Zecora asked. Twilight simply nodded. “That would explain it. Canterlot is never really in danger. Thus the feeling never really appears.

“Plus, it doesn’t really get documented or researched of whatever, dude.” Tree Hugger said.

Twilight was stumped. Surely, this defense mechanism thing didn’t exist. For as long as she lived, for every pony she’s ever meet, not one of them ever brought this up, nor had she ever had an experience like that herself. Then, she thought of something. If this has never really been documented, maybe she could observe and watch Pinkie. See what she could learn. Then document her findings herself.

“Hmm, thank you Zecora. I’ll be right back with my findings!” Twilight exclaimed, her determination burning in her eyes as she whipped around and bolted out of the door.

Zecora, Tree Hugger, Spike, and Arctic all just blinked and watched her go.

“What do you think she’s gonna do?” Asked Tree Hugger.

“Knowing her, nothing good.” Said Spike as he just slouched.

Bursting through the door of Golden Oak Library, Twilight trudged in, anger plastered across her face. Glacious, who had been resting on the couch, which was a bit difficult considering her size, reading a book, and drinking some Apple Cider. She looked up and saw, Twilight stomp her way in, followed by Arctic and Spike, who was sitting on Arctic’s shoulder.

“Young Twilight, whatever is the matter?”

“It’s Pinkie.” Twilight let out in a mix of a sigh and a groan. “She’s been going on about this Pinkie Sense thing and I’ve been trying to figure it out all day!”

Glacious, thoroughly confused, looked over to Arctic and Spike. The two gave a brief run down of what was going on. After hearing about what was going on, Glacious was a bit sympathetic for Twilight after learning why Twilight looked all beat up, but she was also chuckled.

“Young Twilight.” Gracious said in a gentle tone.

“Yes?” Twilight said looking back to Glacious.

“So, you’re trying to figure out young Pinkie’s ‘Pinkie Sense’?”

“Yeah. There’s no way, Pinkie and other ponies have some kind sense that tells them things. I never had anything like that happen to me, nor have I ever heard of anypony experience anything like this before. It hasn’t even been documented before. Zecora told me, ponies all have some kind of sense to alert them of danger or other things, but that can’t be possible.” Twilight ranted.

Gracious just slightly smiled. She had a feeling she knew where Twilight was coming from. This sense, call it a ponies sixth sense, doesn’t really crop up in places it isn’t all that necessary.

“Young Twilight, just because you’ve never seen it or can’t even explain it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t or can’t happen. And just because it isn’t written down, doesn’t mean you should dismiss it. Every time Young Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense went off, something happened, yes?” Glacious asked.

“Well, yeah. But they all had to be coincidences.” Twilight said.

Glacious just smirked slightly. She knew there was only one way to get Twilight to believe in Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense. She just didn’t know how or when it would happen.

==========**********===========

It was the next day. Arctic and Spike were relaxing outside just enjoying the sun, when Twilight walked out of the library. She was still in her head, thinking about Pinkie and her Pinkie Sense.

“Come on Twilight.” Said Spike. “You’re still thinking about the Pinkie Sense.”

“Of course I am. There’s still no way something like that is truly real. And it will be proven that this thing is all just made up.” Twilight stated. Confident that today she’d be able to prove this “sense” is all a hoax.

Just then Pinkie rushed up. Her body was shuddering and shaking violently.

“Arc! Twilight! Spike!”

“Pinkie? What wrong?” Arctic asked, concern present in his voice.

“My Pinkie Sense is going off. But I don’t know why! Though it’s a doozy!” Pinkie said.

“You don’t know what’s going on? Does this mean something big is gonna happen?” Spike asked.

“I don’t know. But whatever it is, is gonna happen in Froggy Bottom Bog!” Pinkie exclaimed.

“Isn’t Fluttershy supposed to be heading there?” Asked Spike.

“Yeah it is.” Said Arctic. “We should go make sure she’s okay.”

Arctic, picking up Spike, placed him on his shoulder as he, alongside Pinkie raced to Froggy Bottom Bog. Twilight, begrudgingly followed after. She was certain Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense was all stuff and nonsense. She was finally gonna prove to Pinkie and everypony else, this Pinkie Sense was not real at all.
