They're not just limited to healing, but can also be used to enhance strength or speed. The ingredients required range from minerals, plants, and animals, but the most common ingredient is blood."
He pointed at his jugular with his tail but again kept things very vague. Twilight didn't feel like pressing further, so she changed the subject once more. "What about spells and incantations? How do they work?"
"Incantations are the spoken word, the actual language of magic. Spells are what you say when you create the incantation. These two things go hand in hand with one another. They must be combined to properly activate magic. Incantations are used to activate spells, but they are not limited to that." Now he was repeating himself, rearranging words as if he wanted the sentences to sound longer.
Twilight turned away from him and closed her eyes. "Can you give me some examples? Maybe something specific?"
