Change can bring forth turmoil and harmony

There was an interesting recent occurrence in the land. Occurring to an old ruling the noble class was actually supposed to remove the idea of unicorn only nobility about a century ago. The nobles went in great lengths to keep this hidden from Celestia. However, it was recently discovered by the guards when looking into olden text that stated such a nobility was only allowed to reign for a certain period of time in order to appease Celestia.

When this was discovered a ruling came in place that allows for any species or pony race to run for nobility. The nobles were in an uproar over the ruling, however, they could not deny the presence of harmony. And the ruling that allows for not only any pony race but any species to run for nobility was done by the Equestrian Court of Justice. So there was no way that the ruling could be removed.

At the moment, Spike is in celebration. Because he recently accomplished a great feat by discovering the cure for alicornzious. For such a discovery he was immediately granted royal status with occurdance with Equestrian law. Now the nobles are planning on putting something in place to stop this. But it won’t go through because doing so would clearly be against the constitution's clear status on the issue that anyone who accomplishes a great feat can become an Equestrian prince or princess.

The nobles were at the moment discussing how they could prevent the young dragon from becoming a prince.

“This can not be allowed to happen. A dragon as an Equestrian prince, such heresy.” A noble by the name of Silver Quill spoke.

“But how are we to prevent this in any legal manner?” One noble asked.

“It simply can not be done in such a way.” Everypony turned to see Princess Noble Gem Blueblood approach.

“Then how can it be done?” Another noble asked.

“We will simply have to convince them somehow stating that we can still deny his status should be enough. After all, the royals are supposed to listen to nobility after all.” Princess Noble Gem Blueblood said.

“And this shall not be done.” Everypony gasped to see Princess Celestia approaching.

“You are aware that the royals and nobles are required to adhere to the constitution are you not.” Celestia stated with fact.

“Yes and the constitution also states that the nobles are to have a say in government.” Princess Noble Gem Blueblood stated.

“While that may be true. The nobles are simply not allowed to completely control the Equestrian governance. And for these reasons no one will simply allow the nobles to completely deny the apparent right that non unicorns and non ponies had for a century. And if you believe that parliament as well as the Equestrian Court of Justice will accept such a decision then you are sorely mistaken.” Celestia said.

“And how pray tell do you plan on stopping us from simply showing our say in governance.” Princess Noble Gem Blueblood stated.

“Because you know that anyone who denies the decisions of parliament as well as the Equestrian Court of Justice is subject to removal from both the nobility and royalty.” Celestia stated.

“You fiend!” Princess Golden Trim stated.

The other members of parliament and the Equestrian Court of Justice then arrived. “You can promote your idea if you wish. You however, must know that if you keep committing such actions against your fellow members of parliament as well as my court that there will be severe consequences.” One of the members of the Equestrian Court of Justice stated.

That made the nobles stop for they knew if they continued that they would destroy what little is left of their rights as nobility. For no one can stop harmony from arising.
