Funeral Moment
The streets of ponyville were very quiet. It had been a long time since such a brutal death had happened, since the era of the griffon wars in Equestria. The carousel boutique was closed for many obvious reasons; No one would work in mourning, especially someone who shares the same blood as his sister. It wasn't like today that Rarity was shaken and completely considered dramatic, but something seemed much more different. She felt like she lost one of the most important things in her life, which was also a life. The poor unicorn pony. He could barely eat his solace ice cream. She was much paler and weaker, her magic also didn't have the strength to stay there. His eyes seemed increasingly gray.
"It's all my fault." – She said to the interviewer and the detective. – "I was responsible for my sister since she arrived in Ponyville to study. Maybe with limits none of this could have happened, so, I... I didn't want it! I don't want this anymore!" – She hyperventilated while dropping the camera, causing the program to lose that recording.
One thing was certain too; no detective could handle so many questions after something so cruel, incomprehensible and terrifying. It's like if you were to look for a justification for what happened, it wouldn't make sense... nothing makes sense around here anymore!
Leaving the urban area aside, the detectives went looking for other reports in search of clues, at the location of the incident, Sweet Apple Acres. When we got there it was as empty as Ponyville, with just a green-furred lady in her rocking chair as she slept. After waking her up, the interviewers and detectives continued their work.
"Ah... jeez. I was at appalooza on the day of the event. That was a huge shock for me and..." – She started to cry.
"Oh, please!" – The pegasus detective was frustrated once again. – "There has to be someone to explain it to us without so much pain."
Before everyone could say anything, that red stallion appeared, still picking apples with a smile and peace in his body. Before anyone could speak, he quickly volunteered.
"Ah can do that." – He sat down while explaining, forcing himself to look sad. – "Applebloom, poor Applebloom... So young, just like her friends. I could see them running and making happy noises. It was wonderful and even irritating, sometimes." – he sighed. – "It's a shame that they died in such a brutal way. Ah... I didn't even recognize those children. Sorry, they were wonderful and full of energy."
The pegasus detective puzzled a bit before maintaining his stance.
"Mr Big Mac, we are looking for complements to help with the investigation. See, we are tired of lamenting and more lamenting! Do you know where they were before entering the farm? What were they going to do?" – He sighed - "This could be very useful for us."
"Ah, I remember seeing them running around the pasture, just. Annoying as always, but it gave a good feeling. It made me more excited. " – He held back a laugh – "You should look for my lil sister, she was taking care of them after our morning work."
Unlike Rarity, Applejack continued to work harder than ever. I didn't stop to eat or drink water, whenever I did that I would get it all out in seconds. His hooves were already swollen and bruised from kicking apple trees and his skin was sunburned. She ignored everything around her.
"I swear on my parents. I left them playing in the clubhouse after all that. When I came back they weren't there anymore. The only thing I saw was Big Mac putting the trash in the hole in the forest. I... I tried to ignore it." , but I smelled my sister there. My nose doesn't deceive me, seriously. I could swear. I..."
"The good thing is that with this information we can explore that trash or land with sniffer dogs. Don't worry, justice will be done and the culprit will pay with his life."
"Is it wrong for me to distrust someone in the family, sir?" – Before they left again, they turned to listen and respond.
"If it's someone in your family... a pony's head can be changed with the smallest things, but that thing wouldn't be a pony." – So he and his team left.
The sunset was considered very beautiful a few days ago. But now it was just a sign of darkness. Was this peace or loneliness? perhaps a mix of an internal scream and an empty place of bloody memories. No one in that family has forgotten what happened to that beautiful couple, parents of three beloved children. It was that same feeling, of being alone and insecure.
After all this, in silence and darkness, Applejack at least gave herself a good night's sleep in Twilight's castle, along with her grandmother and brother. She knew she couldn't be safe on that farm.
"I hope this helps. It must be really hard." – Twiligth said, leaving a light on while, helping her friends in their most difficult time. Rainbow Dash pretended she was fine, but in reality she was just as broken. Rarity and Applejack slept in the same room. Both looked at the ceiling, they didn't look at each other or talk to each other. They just looked at that ceiling with their empty pupils.
Rainbow Dash was on guard, trying to be as strong as ever. but it had been so long since the poor thing had slept that she ended up falling asleep right there. Giving space to become another victim.
a dark red shadow caught her by surprise, covering her mouth and eyes, making everything even darker and suffocating her as she hit her head on the floor. His snout was already bleeding and some of his teeth had already fallen out.
She finally managed to free her mouth to breathe. - "What is that!?..." – She screamed in agony when she saw her blood and teeth on the floor.
The attacker hit her back hard while pointing a knife at her tongue – "You better be quieter. Or I might be undecided whether to rip out your tongue or your retarded wings."
"That voice... B-Big Mac! is that you?... that's not funny!" – She tried to compose herself.
"You're right, it's not funny at all. So things will only get better."
