After party

Bolt woke up dazed and confused, he looked around his room.

“That can't be a dream. “

Bolt got up and then looked in a mirror to see he was wearing a black suit with a gold tie, the same exact outfit when he saw what happened.

It's fine she doesn't actually like Horizon, right, wait shit what time is it I have to be at practice at 3pm

Bolt dashed to his clock and it was now 12am. Bolt looked at the clock confused as he normally sleeps much past that, till like half past one so he was quite surprised. Bolt put on his racing outfit and ate some jam toast as usual. Bolt then heard a knock at his door.

Now that's fucking weird who could that be

Bolt after enjoying his jam toast opened the door to see Scribble.

“Yo dude can I come in? “

“Dude, what are you doing here? “

“Just wanting to talk. “

“Fine, get in here. “

Bolt and Scribble sat by the table.

“Scribble this is so ran-”

“I know what happened. “

Bolt got interrupted and his head felt funny.

“Who told you. “

“What do you mean? “told” dude I saw it. “

“Why didn't you tell me that you were there what if they were dating or crushing on each other what if they continued, WHAT IF THEY HAD SEX For fuck sake. “

Bolt was angry, pissed, confused

Scribble just looked at him with a glare that told him that he was wrong so he leaned into his chair and asked,

Bolt who was still blushing looked again at Scribble who was now looking like he was about to laugh.

Bolt blushed more and flapped his wings more.

Scribble laughed more and said,

Bolt sounded pissed and Scribble was still laughing to the point where Bolt wanted to hit the dragon.

“But no seriously you two were distant from each other that entire day it was strange but besides me explaining let's gooo to your practice. “

Bolt was confused and looked at the time it was half past one. Bolt walked out the door and Scribble followed.

“Dude but still you didn't have to come to my apartment. What about Hefty, isn't she alone now without her knight in shining armour? “,

Bolt said in a joking way before Scribble replied,

“Well one yes I did stuff like that requires just me and you, two she's fine I've done worst like literally scare her in the middle of the night because I was looking out the window and I looked at her and let's just say I nearly gave her a heart attack and three dude don't even talk with your “I finally accepted my feelings” stuff dude you already had feelings from the beginning of high school and same with me just you want to be popular now. “

Bolt stopped in his tracks and blushed and flapped his wings but was also very confused and asked,

“My friend i have known you for your whole high school life of course I know how to read you. “

“Dude one time you thought just because I was looking at someone back in grade 8 that I liked them. “

Bolt and Scribble took the elevator and got to the lobby, they left the building and now we're walking to school but both of them didn't fly.

“But I have an idea I'm going put you guys together. “

“Easy just set you two up to the movies. “

“You just don't think it will work because you two at the movies will count as a date. “

Bolt when he heard this he blushed bright red and he flapped his wings aggressively.

“Dude i'll do it but it doesn't count as a date. “

“Since you are so easy to read, are you going to get her a gift and yes it shall be a date. “

“Pfft I'm not going to get her a gift and plus I have to go to training so bye bro. “

“Oh yeah give this to Sunny and remember to go to Highest Cinema at 9pm.”

Bolt took the letter from Scribble who was grinning with all of his sharp teeth being exposed.

“Dude what is in this letter that makes it so special. “

Bolt shrugged and flew to his training. He landed to see Mr.W.Ares and Ms.P.Ares talking with Sunny also holding a letter

Wait what if that's a letter for me

Bolt stood dead still like he did when he saw Sunny kiss Horizon. It was weird he couldn't move, his head was spinning and his heart was going to probably run out of his body. Bolt then saw Sunny staring at him with a smile and she was hiding the letter.

Bolt didn't know what to do; he just blushed and waved while his wings flapped aggressively.

Okay be calm Bolt this your friend, that you like but still be calm

Bolt then saw Sunny walking up to him and Bolt was still dead still but he was trying his hardest to not blush.

“Hey Bolt, how are you doing? “, Sunny asked Bolt while blushing.

“Oh eh hey Sunny, I'm doing great and eh I actually have something for you. “

Bolt replied while handing Sunny the black letter.

“That reminds me, I have also a letter for you. “

Sunny gave Bolt a pink letter. Bolt was happy and confused. They both just stood there awkwardly, both of them waiting for each other to speak but they just made awkward eye contact before Sunny said,

“Good luck with practice, you look great out there. “

Bolt blushed but his wings were more relaxed and replied ,

“Thank you, but you also look great, your shot kick skills are amazing. “

Bolt walked down to the field and started to warm up and he was focused but still the thought if he turned around he would see Sunny was making him shaky and very nervous. Bolt never felt like this since high school and it didn't feel so good.

“Bolt, come set up your radio with me. “, Mr.W.Ares asked Bolt while biting on a lollipop stick and waving for him to come over.

Mr.W.Ares was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans, no cap which was surprising for Bolt but he started walking over to Ares. Bolt didn't know what to think about, it was all about the race, Sunny and what will happen in the future. Bolt's voices after accepting his feelings for Sunny didn't make it more quiet, it made it more loud.

“Okay let me just plug this in here and you're finished. “

Bolt snapped out his trance and looked at Ares with concern before awkwardly saying,

“Alright but are you okay, you look concerned or stressed but what is up. “, Ares replied back to Bolt with a sad look on his face.

Bolt got to warming up. He was not paying attention to anything, he could only hear birds and grass at his feet.
He saw Horizon and instantly his mind was at that party. Bolt felt his head was warm. Horizon smirked at Bolt with his eyes being more cold than ever. Bolt then saw that Horizon was next to him.

“You're jealous, aren't you?“,Horizon said with a playful tone while smirking at Bolt.

“Oh of what, that my crush just kissed you, she probably doesn't even like you. “, Bolt snapped back his angry tone being very noticeable.

“Well we did have a fun time. But unfortunately for me she didn't want that extra fine time. “, Horizon said to Bolt.

Bolt got his hoof at Horizons shirt and nearly picked him up but he calmed himself down.

“See you can't even get with a beautiful mare like her. “, Bolt said in a cocky tone.

“So what, I got many mares who want me. “

“Yet you're single. “, Bolt said with a smirk now on his face and he couldn't hold his laugh at the thought of Horizons inability to obtain thy beautiful mares.

Horizon with a pissed face left Bolt alone.

Bolt got back to warming up before he felt a tap on his shoulder. It was Storm keeper.

“Yo how's it going. “

“Eh great I need advice since you know mares and all that. “, Storm said to Bolt nervously while playing with his feathers.

Bolt laughed at the sight of one of the coldest and calm pegasus he started to know, for him basically acting like a literal puppy.

“Why are you laughing? “, Storm asked with a huge blush on his face which you could even see through his black fur.

“Oh you're just so calm and relaxed even more than me so what's up pal who do you like, love, want to take to the bed. “, Bolt replied while tapping on Storm's shoulder.

“Diamond Tiara is who I like. “

“Oh yeah just be kind to her and she'll be blown away. “

“Yeah I know that I saw her at a party. Which I saw you with Tiara, funny but anyway what type of flowers does she like? “

Bolt's mind went blank after hearing that Storm was at the party. He was just blankly staring at the ground before Storm tapped his shoulder and asked,

“You alright bro. “

“Yeah I should be fine, just get her black roses and maybe after the trials tomorrow you can join me and my friends in O&O and we'll set you up. “, Bolt replied with enthusiasm.

“Okay sure and I do have a character already so yeah I'll be joining and I'll get her the roses. “

Then both of them heard Ares call them.

“Okay my great stallions, you'll be doing a sprint race of 5 laps and an endurance race of 30 laps. “

“Alright then sure. “, Horizon said in a calm tone.

All three of them lined up at the starting line and raced.

Lap 1

Bolt was in the lead by a 12 second gap and was relaxing into his position very comfortingly.

Lap 2

Bolt gets caught up on by Storm. Which made him quite impressed.

Lap 3

Horizon caught up to both of them and took the lead till the final lap.

Lap 5(final lap)

Bolt was pacing down and over Horizon and Storm was on the side of Horizon. It was a close finish but Storm got first, Bolt second and Horizon third.

Ares then called them over and they did the endurance race which was boring since no overtaking but still had to be fast. Bolt kept looking at Sunny doing her practice. Sunny was doing well in his eyes, He swore that he saw her look at him and smirked before swinging her tail and continued her practice. Bolt was love struck. It was like he was in love for the first time again, it was very embarrassing and confusing to him. Bolt was keeping on during the endurance before seeing her open the letter and her face was flustered. Bolt was very confused on why she was flustered but he hadn't read the letter.

Sunny looked up at him and was looking back at the letter and him before leaving for no reason.

Weird what in celestia is in that letter.

After the endurance they could leave but had to remember that the trials were 10am for them and they had to be here at 7am or 8am depending.

Bolt instantly grabbed the letter Sunny gave to him and opened it to read it.

To: Bolt :)

Hi Bolt I was hoping to go with you to the cinemas so here's a ticket for the movies, I'll get mine at the cinemas. Also F.Y.I this is a date

Bolt's face was flustered and warm, his wing's were flapping aggressively and he was confused so he flew up in the air and punched the air in excitement. Bolt then felt a tap on his shoulder from Starmist of all ponies.

Starmist(20yrs) composed herself before saying,

“Well I just didn't know he liked her and I'm just looking out for him. “

“If it wasn't obvious idiot, can I join this O&O party so I could get closer to him? “

“Sure but don't fumble it alright and remember it's a day after the trials. “

Bolt flew back to the ground to get his stuff and saw that Storm was chilling on the stands alone.

So Bolt went over to go check up on him.

“Yo dude you alright. “

Storm jumped out his seat and looked at Bolt.

“Oh it's you, well I need more advice, so great timing. “

“Okay what's your question. “

Bolt and Storm walked to the elevator and went to his apartment and put in his key to see it was already open. Bolt was confused and opened the door to see Scribble and Tumble.

“Ohhhh damn you brought a dude I should've brought you two tickets instead. “, Scribble said with confusion and sarcasm.

“Dude this is Storm buddy from the trials and what movie is it to anyways and I'm going to get dressed. “, Bolt replied, looking physically in panic mode.

“Wow chill and it's to Velociraptors VS Ponies 3.”,Tumble said with his face half blue.

“Okay cut the bullshit,what movie is it? “, asked Bolt with the face of a puppy.

“It's a choose your own movie ticket, so you two can decide on the movie and I thought you read the ticket? . “, Tumble replied.

All the stallions celebrated but Storm, Bolt and Messy didn't even though you could see a small smirk from Messy.

Through all the chaos, Bolt put on a black suit with a bright red tie. Bolt walked in front of his friends who all gave approval and Tumble gave him a chocolate to calm him down and he flew out in quick pace getting a lot of different flowers but singulars. Bolt got to the Highest Cinema and looked around for Sunny before noticing a mare with her hair not in a ponytail just letting her hair flow and in a red dress that looks like you put glitter on it.

They both looked around at the walls and the movie posters to see what to watch.

Bolt took two seconds and they got the tickets while he saw Sunny getting popcorn and they made eye contact with a thought both popping up in their heads

Should I ask/tell her/him about the party

Bolt shaked his head and walked towards Sunny.

Nah I think we can save that for after the movie.

He walked to Sunny with a smile and tapped her shoulder, which made her jump a bit with a snap at her feet as she dropped some popcorn.

Bolt rolled his eyes and took her hand which made her blush. Bolt then got in the cinema, but first double checking if it was the right one. Bolt then got to their seats and sat down waiting for the movie. It was silent, you could hear the slightest movement.

“Bolt, I'm sorry. “, Sunny said while playing with her hair.

Bolt jumped at a voice like it was some sort of horror movie but then looked back at Sunny.

“Sorry for what?. “, He asked with concern.

“The party, I was stupid I thought he would, well, make me fill the gap of jeal- I mean stress of the trials. “, Sunny replied with a blush but kept a serious face.

Sunny looked at him confused and asked, “You alright?”

Bolt sat back in his chair and lied,

Everything is worrying me right now, how tomorrow's race will go, will I ever be your colt friend, if anything will work out, why does life have to be so confusing, your life can be going so great then in an instant it's bad again, you can't decide how you'll life will go. It's a game that just sucks, I just want to know that everyone and everything will be okay. I just want to for once not overthink or hate myself but fuck it's hard. Even if your popular fuck nobody's going to remember me or anything about me, and that's a thought I hate. Why can't I be normal and have a peaceful life.

Bolt lied again, it sucks to lie but he doesn't want anyone worrying about him.

Bolt and Sunny watched the movie in silence as it should be in a cinema, eating their popcorn and drinking their juices which they both choose apple juice. Bolt finished the popcorn.

For a pretty generic romance movie, it's pretty goooddd dude, Sunny's holding our hoof right now. What?

Bolt looked at his left hoof to see Sunny was holding it and had her excited small smile on her face.

You remember that smile that's the smile she had when you were supposed to confess to her on prom you wuss. Hey she was very pretty and I got a nose bleed and got nervous so shut up. Wait if she had that smile on prom she was excited to see me.

Bolt looked at Sunny deeply, his wings were spreading out slowly. Bolt didn't care about the movie right now, the only thing, the pony in the world who kept him feeling like him was Sunny.

Bolt still was looking at her before he looked back at the movie, his wings were surprisingly wider spread than usual but he kept it and made sure not to get nervous.

The lights went on as he saw the credits roll.

How long was I looking at her for

“Wow, that movie was boring. “, Sunny said while getting out of her seat and stretched.

“Reallyyyyy I thought it was decent for a romance movie. “, Bolt did the same as Sunny and walked behind her out of the theatre.

Bolt looked at her hoof, remembering he held it, his wing's flapping slowly. Sunny was ranting to him, how the movie was much worse than the director's other works and that the romance was dry. Bolt kept on listening before seeing outside of the cinema across the street was Scribble holding a sign that said

Bolt just mouthed the words,”Fuck off. “ and walked Sunny to her apartment building. Sunny's ranting died down, but now she was talking about her book and how she'll do better than the director's work. Bolt didn't damn well understand some stuff she was saying but he didn't care, he liked listening to her talk and he didn't care if his ears would bleed, he would continue to listen to her.

Bolt then got to her apartment and was a little bit sad, since they had to separate.

“I'll see you tomorrow Bolt, even though the movie was boring I had a nice night. “

Sunny replied then gave Bolt a kiss on the cheek.

HOLY SHIT FINALLY WOOHOOOOOOOOOO

Bolt just stood there in silence and looked at Sunny with a smile.

“Yes. “, Bolt then said nervously while flapping his wings, “Oh I got to go to sleep for tomorrow. “

Sunny gave Bolt a chocolate and said,

Bolt walked out of the apartment in a blitz and had a smirk on his face
