Where am I?

Bolt looked around to see nothing but black and the moon. Bolt was scared.

HEY AM I DEAD HELLLO

Bolt got no reply from the darkness around him. He tried to fly and realised he had no wings.

Bolt was again crying. Bolt hit the floor with anger and frustration. Bolt hated this. He wanted to know that he was okay. Bolt looked around again for the hundredth time but to see a figure staring at him. The figure was much taller than him and he instantly ran towards it. Bolt just wanted to talk. He hated being alone, this fear or hate started in primary school with him being picked on and having no friends for the entirety of primary and when he finally got friends in high school he wouldn't leave their side.

Bolt got to the figure to see that it was still black before speaking,

“You Bolt Jackson call me a coward for removing your wings.Your in a dream. “

The voice was of a mare. But Bolt was just happy that he wasn't dead.

“YES I'M NOT DEAD YESS. “

Bolt was crying. He was happy until the voice spoke again.

“You still are on the edge of death so don't get your hopes up Bolt. “

“Wait, you sound familiar. “

Bolt went to touch the mare's face. The mare backed off before saying,

“It is rude to attempt to touch a Mare without their permission sir Jackson. But yes I am familiar because I'm your favourite part of the day. “

Bolt stood in shock as he saw the mare. Well not mare it was the alicorn Princess Luna.

“What are you doing in my dreams also why are you talking to me of all ponies. “

“Well because you enjoy my times very much but also because I wanted to see how you are doing you took one very bad hit and you'll be surprised at yourself when you wake up. “

“Nice so I wake up also thanks it was feeling lonely here. “

“I know how that feels, imagine being in the moon for 1000 years. “

“Hated that Celestia did that to you. The night was awesome. I wish it lasted forever. Like the moon is literally in my dream state. “

Bolt pointed to the full moon that was glowing bright. Luna giggled and replied,

“I'm flattered by that fact. No body or pony likes the night, just sleeping through it for another Sunny day. See what I did there. I mentioned your crush.”

Bolt blushed and spoke back to Luna,

“Give me a break, I already miss her so much. “

“Well Bolt she does miss you too. “

Bolt smiled very wide at Luna before laying down on the abyss and replying,

“She misses me. “

Bolt smiled and blushed.

“Oh to be young in love, well it's best to try to wake up now but I'll talk to you soon Mr Jackson but till then good luck. “, Luna said as she slowly faded away.

Bolt was still laying back smiling before the silence crept in his ears. Bolt looked around in his thought abyss. Bolt then spoke,

“I love Sun-”

Bolt covered his mouth before saying,

“Oh yeah this is my thoughts so I'll speak aloud. FUCK. “

Bolt layed down again to just look at the moon in silence. Bolt then felt the abyss water start moving. The floor in his thought abyss is water and he started to sink in the water. Bolt couldn't swim without his wings as that's how he was taught as a filly.

Bolt tried to speak but bubbles just came out of his mouth as fell to the bottom of the water and the moon disappeared in the distance. Bolt tried to swim but with no succession he just decided to sit in cold water and close his eyes.

Beep. Beep. Beep

Bolt instantly shot up out of bed breathing heavily and he felt like he was underwater but without the wetness. Bolt looked around the room to see that his right eye saw normally but his right eye was blurry.

Bolt smacked the left side of his head to see if it was him just being sleepy. Bolt then looked at his mouth. It had this oxygen thing.

Weird the fuck is that

Bolt was never in a hospital before so he was confused by it. He decided to keep it on for safety purposes. Bolt felt his breathing was relayed on that oxygen thing. Bolt just closed his right eye to see if he was just funky. His eye didn't change, it stayed blurry.

Huh the fuck is wrong with it

Bolt went back to lying on the bed before he saw a white pegasus with yellow stripes and blue hair enter the room. Bolt couldn't make them out with the eye problem. She wore a summer dress with pink flowers on it.

Bolt tilted his head looking into her bright orange eyes before she spoke,

“My stormy baby what happened to you dear. “

Bolt felt some tears in his eyes and his voice was weak,

“mom.”

Bolt's mom(Sunset Burst 40yrs) hugged Bolt very softly. Bolt just tried to hug her back with one arm as his right one felt weird.

“Bolt dear, you were amazing. “

“you were there. “

Bolt stared at his mom.

“Well dear I wanted to surprise you at the end of the race as you were a little grumpy the last time I interrupted you while you were about to race. “

Bolt just looked with narrow eyes at his mom. Bolt didn't have a lot of energy to talk. Bolt then heard another species(other person) open the door. This time it was a pegasus with dark red hair, blue fur, very bright yellow eyes and with a weird yellow swirl of his chest.

Bolt this time got the picture of who it would be,

“Hey my little Blue bolt. How are you doing? Also, I got your favourite treat. “, Bolts dad(Pacific Pride 43yrs)spoke and then spoke again,

“I snuggled it in just for you. “

Bolt saw his dad pull out mango pieces. Bolt mentally licked his lips before pointing at the oxygen thing on his mouth.

“Oh yeah forgot your awake i'll go for you dear. I'm just so happy you're awake. “, Sunset said as she left. She gave his dad a kiss and left with a little hop on each step she took.

“Oh I love her. “

His dad said as he looked at his mom leaving.

Bolt just sat there looking at his dad. His dad then said,

“You were great out there unfortunately that stupid Horizon crashed into you, he only got a sprained shoulder. You got the bad end of the stick. “

Bolt made an angry expression to tell his dad how he felt. His dad tapped his head.

“It's alright pal they're going to put you in the equestria games. SO YOU'LL BREAK HISTORY. As that equestria will have 6 racers instead of 5.”

Bolt shaked his left arm to show his excitement. Bolt looked at himself bandaged and his wings were too. His right eye was still blurry and unable to see his world fully.

“Yeah it's great you'll do great my blue Bolt but you'll need to heal first. “

His dad said, looking at him. Bolt then heard the door open with a blue unicorn in a white nurse outfit.

“Well Bolt just going to say what problems you have also yeah you can take off the oxygen inhaler. “

The nurse had ocean blue patterns in her fur and Bolt couldn't make out the colour of her hair.

Bolt took off the oxygen inhaler and breathed a bit before speaking softly,

“Okay so what is it ma'am. “

“Well you have broken wings, both legs, you are also blind in your right eye. The last thing is on your right hand, you can look at it. “

Bolt lifted his right arm. Bolt saw it and sat there in pure shock.

“What happened to it.? “, Bolt spoke softly and in a sad tone.

“We had to amputate it, since it was beyond repair and you wouldn't have survived if you still had that arm. “

Bolt looked at the nurse as she spoke. Bolt looking at his amputated right arm, Bolt was in shock. The bandanges looked so weird on his arm. Bolt wanted to see his friends but one question laid on his mind.

How long was I out

Bolt looked at his window. There laid Celestia's sun as high in the air as it could be. Bolt then asked his dad,

“How long was I out. “

“A month, it's weird that you were that long in that coma type thing but you fainted. “

Bolt sat there now overwhelmed with emotions of sadness, anger, confusion and pain.

Bolt then heard the door open again.

“Brother. “

Stargazer looked at Bolt. Both of them were happy to see each other but Bolt still remembered about him being captain of Wonderbolts.

“Where have you been”

Bolt's voice was low but irritated.

“ Was very busy with the Wonderbolts and been watching you. “

Bolt still was irritated with him,

“I thought you wouldn't join the Wonderbolts like I said as a filly remember. “

Stargazer stood there in shock and then replied,

“... Dude you know… I was in the Wonderbolts when I said that. “

Bolt looked at his brother with more shock.

“You never told me that. “

“Because I knew you'd hate me. “

Bolt looked at his brother in sympathy. All through his life he hated the Wonderbolts, he hated them for getting all the fame when all they would do is show off and race one or twice. Bolt looked at his brother again. Stargazer just scratched his neck and didn't make eye contact with Bolt. Bolt then spoke,

“I'm sorry. “

Stargazer instantly looked up at Bolt with a smile as he walked to his brother to give it in.

“Bring it in. “

Bolt nodded no before giving up as his brother hugged him.

Stargazer stood away from his brother's nursing bed and said,

“Well you know, you look cool with that scar on your right eye. “

Stargazer smiled at his brother. Bolt touched his face and the spot with the scar. Bolt's hoof touched the entire scar going from his forehead to close to his muzzle. Bolt smiled and replied,

“Feels cool as fuck too. “

“LANGUAGE! “

His mom shouted at his son as his father, his brother and him laughed.

Bolt just looked at his family with a smile before hearing Stargazer speak,

“You know we might make a deal with the Red horses to sponsor the Wonderbolts, which means our main captain will wear Blue. “

Bolt looked at his brother with excitement,

“Oh that's cool alright but when can I get out of here. “

“Well dad will ask this time but also when will join the Wonderbolts. “

“I don't know if I would join them. “

“Well if you want to join, there's a contract waiting for you because I'm impressed with your skill. “

Stargazer walked out with his dad as they spoke.

Me in the Wonderbolts well now the Red horses Wonderbolts or whatever confusing name it will be. That would be confusing. My brother is only 29 years old. How is he wise enough to decide who gets to join or not?

Bolt scoffed and looked at his mangos, he slowly started to eat them. His mom then spoke,

“Oh my baby, are you having trouble eating? Let me help you. “

Bolt nodded that he was fine before his mom got a spoon and scooped pieces of mango and into his mouth. Bolt was red with embarrassment and his face had bags that made him look like he hasn't slept in days.

Bolt looked at his mom with his face being red and she smiled and said,

“No need to be embarrassed, I'm not your crush. I'm just your mom. “

Sunny, where is she?

Bolt's face turned red at his mom mentioning a crush.

His mom instantly smirked and asked,

“Does my son have a crush on a mare, hmm? “

His mom raised her eyebrows in anticipation. Bolt sighed and replied,

“Yes mom I do and she's been my crush for quite a while. “

His mom clapped her hooves together in excitement and then said,

“Wait is that why you were all smiles and rainbows, that one day you came from high school. IS IT BECAUSE YOU TALKED TO YOUR CRUSH. And you did look very smiley after graduation. “

Bolt just blushed and said,

“Yes mom. “

“Oh wonderful! I can't wait to meet her, whoever she is. “

His mom looked like she had stars in her eyes. Bolt just kept on getting spoon fed for a few minutes as his mom talked about crushes and how her and his dad met.

Bolt felt happy to see his mom this happy as he hadn't seen her in awhile. Bolt then heard the door open and it was his dad and his brother.

“they said tomorrow night you can leave but you have to train for your prosthetic leg. “

Stargazer said with a straight face and looked at Bolt.

Bolt just nodded as his mom fed him. His dad just laughed and said,

“He has mango pieces on his cheek kinda reminds me of when he was younger. “

Bolt blushed and was about to shout but his mom calmed him down with a spoonful of mango. Bolt enjoyed this and was still anxious about his friends and all the work he missed out on.

Strange, I don't think about work. Why do I care about that?

Bolt looked at his family again and then spoke, when his mangoes were finished,

“I miss this, you know, time with all of us. “

Bolt sounded soft but like a chain reaction whenever he spoke his family stayed quiet.

“Same here but quick thing Bolt, you know the letter I sent you. You probably thought it was your crush hah. “,

Stargazer said with a smirk as Bolt blushed and put up a hoof in defence.

“N-no way Pfft I-I'm not that corny. “,

Bolt replied with a huge red blush on his face.

“HAHAH you stutter when you are nervous so I caught you out bro. “

Bolt just sat there in defeat as his brother and dad laughed in victory. Then a mare opened the door. She was a purple unicorn with grey swirls in her fur and a white hair.

Bolt looked at her with confusion. Bolt closed his right eye to get her full image and then he asked,

“Who is this? “

“Oh that's Zeb Polaris, she's another doctor here and my friend. “,

Bolts mom said with excitement. Then Zeb spoke,

“So we are getting informed that you need to do some walking training so come with me and there is a wheelchair there so just plop him on there and bring him to room 67.”

Zeb left the room and instantly both his dad and brother put him in the wheelchair in record time. His mom pushed it since she thought both his dad and brother would be too reckless. His mom was singing a little lullaby that was making Bolt feel sleepy.

“You used to fall asleep to this as a filly remember. “

His mom whispered in his ear as he fell asleep in the wheelchair.

Bolt woke up uninterrupted and looked around him to see other ponies, dragons, etc getting there footing back. Bolt looked at his dad as he helped him out of the wheelchair. Bolt instantly fell on his face when his dad let go. Bolt held on one of the bars and was getting the hang of walking with three legs before falling again.

“Here. “

Bolt was surprised by Zeb and fell again. Zeb scoffed and put on Bolts mechanical prosthetic arm. Bolt looked at it, it was blue like his fur but was very shiny. Bolt tried to walk with it and he walked funny at first but after two hours, he was very tired and he could walk again but he needed help to his room.

“Okay so yes he can leave tomorrow but only supervision. “

Bolt heard outside his door. It was obviously his mom and Zeb.

“Understood Zeb, I'll see you tomorrow. “

Bolt heard his family leave. It was now noon. The Sun was setting and Luna's moon would be up in a while. Bolt was excited to see it after so long.

Well at least the real moon. Also where's my friends and Sunny.

Bolt smiled at the mention of her name in his head. Bolt sat there in his bed. Bolt had never been to a hospital and never ever has he been to it at night.

Sunny, Sunny… CACAN WE THINK OF ANYONE ELSE BESIDES HER FOR CELESTIAS AND LUNA'S SAKE

Bolt blushed there in bed. Bolt, embarrassed with himself, looked at the Sun, thinking of Sunny.

Oh for Celestia's sake I miss him so much, I hope he is okay please say he wakes up soon.

Sunny laid in her bed with tissues to the side of her bed, besides her crying. She was sick. She somehow managed to catch the flu. Sunny then heard a knock at the door. Sunny groaned,

“The doors unlocked. “

Scribble and Hefty walked into Sunny's apartment.

“Hey are you alright we made cake for you. Your favourite too it's strawberry cheesecake. “, Hefty nervously smiled as she tapped Scribbles shoulder. Scribble whose face was full of cream and strawberry jam lifted the cheesecake.

Sunny sat up feeling a bit better as she took a piece. She chewed with giggles as Scribble and Hefty sighed.
Scribble took Hefty's hoof and smiled at her and whispered to her,

“Should we tell her about Bolt?

“No, she would want to leave this dark place right now and probably while still sick. “

Scribble nodded and said,

“Understood ma'am. “

Hefty just giggled and fed him some cake,

“You're so adorkable. “

Both of them laughed at the compliment. Sunny watched them in silence.

Brain don't think of Bolt please, this is a cute moment. Imagine if this was… JuJust shut up me

Sunny had a tear in her eye as she put on her hoodie and looked at them again. Scribble wore a green puffy jacket with black baggy trousers and Hefty wore a red jacket with the words cool dragon. Which meant it was Scribbles and she had some blue jeans on.

“Well we will be off because well I just want to sleep and she just wants to watch me sleep. “

As Scribble said this Hefty immediately blushed and hit him pretty hard but not hard in dragon terms.

“YOU CANT JUST SPILL MY SECRETS LIKE THAT YOU KNOW. WHAT IF I HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE FACT I HAD TO PUT YOU OUTSIDE LIKE A DOG BECAUSE YOU ARE A WHOLE PEANUT BUTTER JAR. “

Hefty shouted at Scribble and he replied,

“Well it was funny also here's a letter. It's for you Sunny “

Hefty looked at Scribble confusingly. Scribble lipped the words Bolt.
Hefty and Scribble left without another word leaving it to be Sunny and this mysterious letter she had no clue about. Sunny took the letter and laid with it. She looked at it, it was black and with blue stripes.

Bolt maybe sent it to us. Pfft that wouldn't be like him

Sunny opened the letter and began to read the letter.

To: Sunny Mornings

Hey it's been a while, I woke up a day ago. Everything is funny, I mean you should see me right now. I look awful and feel awful. My nurse says I slept for a month. That is weird now I have less life to live I guess. I hope you can visit soon and I'll be on supervision soon by my parents house. As they are taking care of me so see you whenever Sunny. :)

From: Bolt Wonders Jackson

Sunny read with tears in her eyes as she hugged the letter and giggled like a little filly.

He missed me. He missed me. Well not that he just sent me a letter but that's so odd. Wonders, I never knew about his middle name.

Sunny stared at the letter.

His initials were always B.J not B.W.J. Oh… It's to do with the Wonderbolts no wonder but why is he using it if it's the Wonderbolts associated with it? Maybe he changed

Sunny still smiled at the letter as he was comfortable with using his middle name for her. She giggled and rolled around her bed with the biggest grin on her face.

The time flew by and it was now night time. Sunny looked out her window at the moon. In the distance was the hospital Bolt stayed in. Sunny stared at the hospital, feeling very warm about the thought of Bolt.
Sunny then saw one of the rooms lights turn on. Sunny could barely make out the colour of whatever species it was but it was a pony that was blue is all she could make out. They opened the window and leaned out.

Odd they kind of look like Bolt. Well it could be him I won't know.

The pony then threw a black dead flower out the window. They closed the window and turned off the light.

Odd pony I must say so myself

Sunny went back to her bed but before she did, she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She started brushing her teeth, it was quite quiet around the night time.

Hmm just go to sleep after this.

She brushed for like 10 minutes before going to her bed and tucking herself in. She smiled and then fell asleep.

Another ponies point of view

OKAY HOW THE FUCK DO YOU SLEEP IN THESE BRICK LIKE BEDS

Bolt shuffled around his bed and tried to get comfortable. It was night time, Bolt's favourite part of the entire day but he needed to sleep to heal his muscles a bit faster. Bolt hugged his pillow as he normally would when he went to sleep without going to a party. Bolt then put his normal hoof on his numb hand.

I hate this bed. Also my blindness doesn't help makes me think there's something looking at me.

Bolt dimmed his eyes to see that the moonlight was bright on the dead flower in his room. Bolt got out of bed before knocking his side at a table he didn't see on his right. Which his eye couldn't see.

WELL BUCK ME STUPID EYE

Bolt scoffed as he rubbed his side. Bolt went to the dead flower by the window. Bolt smelled it before realising it would be dangerous to walk with his eye problem in the dark. Bolt navigated his room carefully, hitting his right side on the bed once or twice and turned on the light. Bolt went back to the flower and opened the window. He leaned out to see it was a very long fall down. Normally Bolt would fly out of here but because of very noticeable reasons he can't.

Bolt took the flower and threw it out of the window as it withered away in the air. Bolt turned off the light and got back in the bed and had a very tired sleepy face.

An alarm went off as a voice groaned to get it.

“Stupid alarm can't believe Daisy gave me this to not oversleep. “, Messy spoke in a low tone before thinking back on all his oversleeping incidents.

“Well she is right though. “

Messy put on a white shirt and leather jacket as Celestia's Sun came through his apartment's blinds. He put on some red army pants. He walked to the blinds and opened them a small bit as had a red headband in his mouth. He then put it on and walked to his kitchen and ate some cheese. Yep plain cheese but with crackers.

Nice this soo niccee I wonder what Daisy is doing. Well it is early so I'm going to spook her. Great idea me.

Messy walked out of his apartment. It was quite a long slow walk. Messy felt every step he took. Messy after walking the distance of one elevator up and 30 or more apartment doors he got to Daisy's room.

Okay it's time

Messy opened her door slowly. The room was very dark and he heard snoring.

Yes this is going to be so good.

He then heard the stove turn on. His pupils went thin as he looked towards where the sound was coming from. Daisy was making grilled cheese but she was naked.

HOLY MOTHER OF CHRYSALIS

Messy then proceeded to try to exit the room before hearing,

“Oh come Messy where do you think you're going. “

Messy heard Daisy's voice and went back to greet her.

“Also you can get comfortable, you know, I don't mind your changeling form. “

“Fine. “

Messys tone was low before a green flash lightened the room and Messy now had light blue skin with an even lighter blue see through wings. His eyes were bug-like and yellow. Huge dark red horns, yellow mandibles and huge light blue horns which had a ragged shape on the top.

“Feels more comfortable. “

“Yes but when should I tell every species about this?”

“Well no one will bat an eye nowadays but to be honest you can hide secrets really well.”

Daisy kissed Messy on the cheek. His mandibles shaked and so did his wings. Daisy just smiled and Messy gave his normal nervous smile back.

“It's funny how your actual name is just a whole lot of numbers before you changed it to. “,Daisy laughed a bit before speaking again, “Sorry it's just funny. Messy Hotel Rooms. “

“What it's the best I could came up with?! “

“Still I was very surprised when you showed me your true form. “

Daisy said before putting the plate down. Messy decided to take with his mandibles and ate the plate with it. Daisy just looked at him with an open mouth before smacking him.

“WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT EATING THE PLATES!! “

“W what it tastes good with the food. “

Daisy hit him more and responded,

“Hey, that's not the point. “

Daisy stopped hitting him and kissed him on the cheek.

“Just don't do it again okay darling. “

Messys mandibles moved and so did his wings and he replied,

“Oh great, not this corny stuff again. “

“Remember I was the one who made you get redeemed because of my corny stuff. “

Messy sighed and walked over to Daisy. Daisy blushed because she forgot how tall he is in this form.

HOLY CELESTIA HIS BIGGER THAN TUMBLE

Daisy turned around and Messy gave her a kiss on the lips.

“You alright? “

Daisy just nodded her head and went to put on some clothes. Messy sat in the dark room on the floor. He could hear her changing and he decided to camouflage. He opened the door silently and went behind her and picked her up.

“AHHH… MESSY SERIOUSLY. “

Daisy shouted but laughed at the same time. Messy just put her down and went back to the kitchen .

Hmm good taste

Daisy exited the room in sight of him chewing on the side of the table. Daisy had just a sunflower dress on and took his hoof.

“Come on, we are going to go see if Bolt woke up.”

“But can't I have a little-”

Messy got cut off by his marefriend kissing him.

“Now shut up and let's go. “

“O-Okay D-Daisy. “

He is so cute, yet so annoying. I love him.

Daisy kept on walking a flustered Messy. Messy didn't even shift back into his changed form. He just stayed in his original stage. Daisy walked him to the elevator.

I'M SO EXCITED I COULD DIE BUT FIRST WE GO TO THE HOSPITAL.

Sunny was in a rush to get to the hospital. She already was outside the apartment with a grey cap to cover her hair, A basketball shirt of the Manehattan Pnicks and some shorts on. She was rushing through crowds of species and saying sorry to any species. She needed to run just a few more kilometres.

“Why is *pant* it so dam *pant* FAR! “, Sunny said in between pants.

Sunny looked around and saw Daisy in the distance holding the arm of a mostly blue changeling.

“Is she cheating on Messy or what. “

Sunny said with a gasp as she rushed towards Daisy.

Why would she cheat on such a stallion? Don't jump the gun me.

Sunny was finally close to hear and called for Daisy. Daisy looked around to find the noise to see Sunny waving her hoof.

“Come on Messy. “

“Fine. “

Messy and Daisy got to Sunny and she asked,

“Daisy who's the changeling. “

Messy laughed at what she said. Daisy then said,

“Ohhhh I see you thought I was cheating. Sunny it's Messy, his a changeling trust me even I was confused when I first figured it out. “

Sunny looked at a smiling Daisy in shock as Messy scratched his neck and looked everywhere else but in her direction. Sunny's mouth was gaping.

“Now enough shock Sunny let's go if your husband is awake. “

Sunny walked with them still in shock and trying to process everything. Messys horns rattled while he looked like he was trying to keep a laugh in.

“WAIT HIS NOT I MEAN AHHH “, Sunny shouted after realizing what Daisy just said. Messy bursted out in laughter as his horns, wings and mandibles rattled in excitement. Daisy laughed with Messy, Sunny looked at them with envy and cuteness.

Messy and Daisy were tapping each other on the back before hearing Sunny say,

“You two are so cute. “

Both of them went quiet real quick and started walking again. Sunny walked with them.

Why did they do that?

Sunny looked at both of them before seeing how Daisy and Messy looked. Daisy had a huge red blush on her face and was sweating while Messys mandibles, wings and horns were rattling faster than before.

Sunny walked with them before asking,

“Are you two nervous when you do cute stuff in front of other species? “

Both of them stared at each other before nodding. Sunny didn't ask them more questions as she just let them sit with their thoughts. They were approaching the hospital before she heard Messy say,

“Yeah to be honest I do get nervous or embarrassed when we do cute stuff. It's not Daisy's fault I just get embarrassed easily. “
