  A Pony Like Me

  Prolog

Rainbow Dash and Twilight hurried through the rain. "Twi, do you like the rain I made?" Rainbow said grinning from ear to ear. Twilight sighed and looked around. They were on the outskirts of Ponyville, but close to the town. She saw a flash of light purple near a tree, but she shrugged it off. "Wake up, Twilight." Rainbow called out to her friend.

Twilight hurried on. She wouldn't let the flash bother her at this point. She had to get home. Back to her friends. Back to Spike. A lightning bolt flashed and hit a tree, causing it to burn. The burning tree fell and landed in front of Twilight And Rainbow. The fire spread quickly, causing Rainbow and Twilight to panic. A black figure of a unicorn appeared from behind the flames. Twilight got a better look at her.

Her hair was a dark shade of brown and had blonde highlights. Her green eyes twitched from one eye to another. The hair on her head was piled up and looked like an 1800's style. Her tail had about a dozen knots in it.  She smiled, her eyes twitched even more. Twilight cowered down and shut her eyes. Rainbow's lungs couldn't take the smoke anymore, she passed out. "Rainbow?!" Twilight ran over to her.

The other pony just stood there, waiting for something else to happen. Twilight used her teleportation spell and telported to her library. "I'm sorry to ask, but, who are you and where are you from?" The pony stared at her, "I'm Ashley, but I'm not from around here. I'm...Human."
