Giving a sad sigh, she knew why she was here.

She wasn't here because the ponies of Ponyville didn't run her out of town.

She wasn't here because the Ursa Minor scared her off, although it was rather terrifying.

No, it wasn't either of those reasons.

She was here, lost intentionally in the Everfree Forest because a stupid unicorn caused her to do what she had been doing all her life: being just plain rude and mean spirited towards ponies.

And that stupid unicorn was her.

I never should have tried again...I'm just a useless wreck who can't even fix herself when she tries...

Taking off her signature hat and sitting up a bit, she stared sadly at the blue silk that made up the hat and the golden stars within.

It had been the first thing she bought with her own money as soon as she left her old town.

It had been a reminder.

And so she threw it into the pond along with her cape.
