Perhaps you didn't know just what operations they're involved in, and what jurisdiction they command?

And what of the Wonderbolts? Are they simply a stunt group, or are they connected to the Guard?

Join me, Shutter Bug, interviewer extraordinaire, and let us explore just what the Royal Guard is, what it's been hiding, and how each of the Guards act. From Captain Shining Armor, to the Elements, to even grunts that patrol the streets of Canterlot.

Law enforcement does not begin to cover their acts, though they will be shy in admitting their actions have been turned to more…civil-friendly operations, courtesy of the Princesses.

You may ask me why I'm writing this. Well, I'll tell you why.

We really DON'T know a whole lot about the Guard. All we know is they protect Equestria and work under Shining Armor. Just what does it mean to be a Guard? I hope to explore that with this combination of interviews, biographies on the factions, and perhaps even a look into some of the characters we know.

Just how much power does Armor command? Cadence is married to the leader of the Guard, so how does she act? What do Princesses Luna and Celestia consider the Guard to be? So many questions…

well, let's see just how many we can answer in an entertaining way, shall we?

Basically a fun little experiment in character study and world-building. I plan to use these in later stories…so may as well have em written down, right?]
