Chapter 15: Alterro

In Maretime Bay, the ponies there were watching a viral video on their phones. Posey Bloom was walking out of Mane Melody when she saw everypony looking at their phones.

"Um, what is everypony looking at?" Posey Bloom asked.

Windy flew up to her and said, "It's this new video that the new guests of Sunny and her friends have put up. Check it out." Windy then showed the video to Posey. It was a repeat of their Talent Show performance before Smolder carried Aaron back to Earth in the first story.

In the video, Gallus was dressed up in a fast food restaurant uniform, standing behind a counter while Smolder walked up to it.

"Welcome to Fasty's. What can I get I get for you?" Gallus asked quickly.

"Hi, um... I think I'll have a cheeseburger..." Smolder said in the video before getting cut off.

"Cheeseburger!" Gallus said into the microphone. Then a cheeseburger was chucked and hit Smolder's forehead.

Smolder then got angry and said, "Hey, what's the big idea?!"

"Well, most places offer kinda fast food, but here at Fasty's, we specialize in really-really-really fast food," Gallus said, quickly.

"Yeah, I can see that," Smolder said.

"Anything else for ya?" Gallus asked, nearly cutting off Smolder.

"No thanks, I don't feel like being hit with chicken bits," Smolder said.

"Chicken bits," Gallus said into the microphone. Then a bunch of chicken nuggets were tossed at Smolder. Smolder got angry, Gallus tilted his head quickly. Then Smolder turned around and stomped towards the right side of the camera. Gallus waved goodbye to her. Just then, Ocellus walked up to the counter, dressed as a cheerleader.

"Hi," Ocellus said.

"Welcome to Fasty's, may I take your order?" Gallus asked, quickly.

"Oooookay," Ocellus said. "Can I just get a..." Gallus then started repeating what Ocellus was saying into the microphone. "Uhhhh... ssssssss-salad with dressing on the side?"

"Salad!" Gallus said into the microphone. Then a salad was thrown at Ocellus, surprising the changeling. "With dressing on the side!" Then salad dressing was squirted at Ocellus, messing up her outfit.

"Well, now that's just too fast," Ocellus said, trying to hold in her anger. "Good thing I didn't order soda!"

"Soda!" Gallus said into the microphone. Then a gallon of cola was tossed at Ocellus, drenching her.

"I sa--" Ocellus said before being cut off.

"Ice!" Gallus said into the microphone. Then a cup of ice was thrown at Ocellus.

Ocellus then grabbed the microphone and angrily said, "This is really-really-really not cool! If you think I'm paying for this, you're nuts!"

Gallus then grabbed the microphone and said, "Nuts!" Then a bunch of nuts were thrown at Ocellus, angering her more.

"I'm not paying for those nuts either!" Ocellus said before walking off.

"Nuts!" Gallus said into the microphone. Then more nuts came in and hit Ocellus from behind as she was heading towards the right side of the stage. Ocellus looked back angrily. Gallus waved his left hand, saying, "Hurry back!"

Then Smolder came back holding something behind her back. She then said, "Hi, I was here two seconds ago. You pelted me with chicken bits."

Gallus gasped, grabbed the microphone, and spoke into it, "Chicken bits!" Then a bunch of chicken bits were being thrown at Smolder, but she shielded herself with what she brought. It was a trash can lid. Smolder waited for the chicken bits to stop before unshielding herself. She unshielded herself, but then a single chicken bit came in and hit her face.

Smolder then said angrily, "I would like to speak to the manager!"

"Manager!" Gallus spoke into the microphone. But then Aaron came out from behind the counter, wearing a uniform.

"I'm Mitchell the Manager, what seems to be the problem?" Aaron asked.

"Did you stop to think that maybe your restaurant is a little too fast?" Smolder asked, trying to suppress her anger.

"I-I'm really sorry, let me make it up to you," Aaron said.

"Thank you," Smolder said, her anger diminishing.

"With a year's worth of Fasty's Fast Fries," Aaron said. That made Gallus gasp and grab the microphone.

"Fast Fries!" Gallus said into the microphone.

"No!" Smolder said before shielding herself from the fries coming in from the left side, but it didn't come from the left. It came from right above her. Smolder looked at the two boys angrily. Aaron gave a nervous smile. "What? No ketcup?"

Gallus gasped and said into the microphone, "Ketchup!" Smolder then tried to shield herself from ketchup raining on her, but the kethup came from the left side of the stage. Aaron and Gallus just smiled at Smolder. Smolder then threw the trash can lid to the ground and stomped towards the right side of the stage. "Come again!" Then the video ended.

Windy laughed at that, Posey trying to keep her laughter in. Posey then said, "Okay. That was funny."

"Apparently, that was the same thing they did to win a talent show back in their time," Windy said. "I can see why they won."

Back at the Brighthouse, Aaron, the Young 6, Pipp, Zipp and Twilight were all watching the video on Zipp's laptop. They all laughed at the video, seeing so many likes and comments coming up.

"This video is going viral!" Pipp said. "I've never seen a whole lot of likes on any of my posts before!"

"Not as much as Sparky throwing stuff at you when Sunny was having trouble getting ponies to start a community garden?" Aaron asked.

"Oh, yeah, even bigger than that!" Pipp said.

"Well, it's still hilarious," Zipp said. "This'll be something to show Sparky when he grows up."

"Yeah, eventually, we're all gonna have to go back home," Gallus said. "At least Yona got her Cutie Mark when doing this video."

"Yona really shocked when Yona got Mark on flank," Yona said, turning to show off the Cutie Mark on her right flank. It was three diamonds with a red ribbon going around each of them in a loop. "Working with Rarity paid off."

"All that's left getting their Cutie Marks are Aaron and Smolder," Sandbar said. He then looked at Twilight. "So, what marks do they get?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that I cannot tell any of you until it happens," Twilight said.

"Okay, this is gonna be annoying," Smolder said. "But we do get Cutie Marks, right?"

"Eventually, yes," Twilight said. "But, Aaron, when you eventually get home, have my past self help explain."

"Noted," Aaron said. Just then, the doors to the bedroom slammed open. They all looked towards the door and they saw Nyx there. "Nyx? What's up?"

"I found him," Nyx responded. "I found Alterro." That made Aaron and the Young 6 gasp.

"Who's Alterro?" Pipp asked.

"Allura's brother," Ocellus said. "That's why she wanted the Nova Charm."

"It wasn't to go across Equestria to take over, she was trying to search for her brother," Aaron said.

"And Izzy destroyed it when she made the Boardtrot," Zipp said. "Okay, we have got to get these two back to each other. Where is he?"

The Marestream was flying through the skies, heading East towards somewhere. In the Marestream, there was Aaron, the Young 6, Zipp and Pipp. Zipp was piloting the Marestream.

"Out of all the places he had to be, Griffonstone had to be where he was," Gallus said.

"I shoulda brought a jacket," Aaron said.

"Yeah, you should've," Gallus said. "Nights are cold."

"Why is Gallus complaining?" Pipp asked. "Griffonstone is his hometown, right?"

"He was living on the streets all by himself for years," Ocellus said.

"We wouldn't want him going back to being homeless for the holidays," Aaron said. "Hopefully, when we get there, the place will be in decent shape."

Eventually, they arrived at the mountain area where Griffonstone was. They saw that Griffonstone was still in the same condition it was back in their time.

"Nope, nothing's changed," Gallus said, looking out the window. "So, where do we find Alterro?"

"Nyx said that Alterro is trapped in the one place no one dares to go," Aaron said.

"And that is?" Ocellus asked.

"Abysmal Abyss," Aaron said.

"Abysmal Abyss?!" Gallus asked. "No griffon had ever gone in there and came back out."

"Gilda did when she was getting both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie out of there," Aaron said. "Rainbow Dash was originally going down there to get the Idol of Boreas, but the rope snapped and the griffon who was helping her wanted to get paid to help her get out. But, Rainbow Dash had no bits at the time."

"So, she basically left Rainbow Dash to die down there?" Smolder asked.

"Yeah, griffons don't usually do things for free," Gallus said. "Who knows how tempered the Griffons will be when we're here?"

The Marestream then came down on the higher side of the Abysmal Abyss. They all got out of the Marestream and looked down the abyss. Wind was blowing from the bottom of it.

"Looks like a long way down," Pipp said.

"Alright, get the ropes," Aaron said when putting on a harness. Gallus did the same.

"Okay, so why are you two going down by rope?" Zipp asked.

"Because we have something that ponies don't," Gallus said. Then he and Aaron bared their claws. "Claws."

"Oh," Zipp said. "Oh, I get it. You're gonna dig your claws into the cliff side for extra support if the wind is too strong. Okay. We'll keep you supported."

"Be careful down there, boys," Smolder said. Then Aaron and Gallus started descending down the abyss. As they were climbing down, Aaron and Gallus were ripping out rocks that could cut the rope from the side of the abyss.

"Why are you doing that?" Gallus asked.

"If the rope gets caught on the sharp rocks, it could snap it, and we'll be falling down," Aaron said. "That's how Rainbow Dash got trapped down there."

"WHO'S THERE?!" came a voice. Both Aaron and Gallus looked down. It was too dark for them to see. Aaron and Gallus looked at each other and Gallus shrugged his shoulders.

"Uh, is someone down there?" Aaron asked.

"Leave me alone!" the voice continued.

"I'm guessing you're Alterro?" Gallus asked.

"How do you know that?" the voice asked.

"We're here to bring you to your sister, Allura," Aaron said.

"Allura?!" Alterro asked. "How do you know her?"

"Let's just say we're not on good terms with her," Gallus said. "But, if we reunite you two..."

"She might not be as angry as many ponies thought she'd be," Aaron said. "We know a pony who had lost his daughter for a long, long time, hoping that one day she would find her way home. Eventually, she made friends years later and reunited the two."

"Now it's your turn to be reunited with your sister," Gallus said.

"Like you can get me out of here," Alterro said. Aaron then pulled out his phone.

"Hey, Siri, turn on flashlight," Aaron said.

"It's on now," Aaron's phone said after the flashlight turned on. It then showed Arimapsi's Skull with Alterro half way stuck with his front half coming out.

"Whoa," Aaron said. "How long have you been stuck in there?"

"You don't wanna know," Alterro said.

"Alright, let's get you out of there," Aaron said. Aaron and Gallus then continued descending to the cliff the skull was on. Eventually, they made it to the cliff across from the cliff with the skull on it. Aaron and Gallus unhooked themselves from the ropes and jumped across the gap. When they landed, the ground shifted.

"That doesn't seem good," Gallus said.

"We're getting too heavy for this cliff to hold all the weight," Aaron said. He then inspected the eye socket hole of the cyclops skull. "Looks like we need something to slip him through."

"Like what?" Gallus asked.

"Soap or butter," Aaron said.

Gallus then brought out a spray can of non-stick cooking spray. He then said, "How about this?"

"Why do you have non-stick cooking spray?" Aaron asked.

"I forgot I still had it when we were making that food for the video," Gallus said. He then handed the spray can to Aaron. Aaron then climbed into the skull and started spraying around Alterro's body in the socket.

"Whoa!" Alterro said. "Careful there! That's cold!"

"Sorry," Aaron said. He then continued spraying. "Okay, that should be good enough. Gallus, get ready to pull!"

Gallus then grabbed Alterro's paws and got ready to pull. He then said, "Okay, I'm ready."

"On my count to three," Aaron said. "One..." Gallus then steadied his stance from his hind legs. "Two..." Alterro then got ready to suck in his gut. "Three!" Then Aaron pushed Alterro's haunches and Gallus pulled on the leopard's paws. Eventually, they got Alterro through and they all went up on the other cliff. Then the cliff the skull was on fell down the abyss. The three then looked down to see the other cliff and the skull falling down into the dark abyss.

"That was lucky," Gallus said.

"You're right," Alterro said. "That was really lucky."

Aaron and Gallus then started putting the ropes back on their harnesses, but had access ropes out so they could tie them around Alterro's body.

"Okay, time to start climbing up," Aaron said. He then looked up to the top. "Alright, you all! Get ready to pull!" Then the three of them got ready to climb as the ropes started getting pulled. Just then, a roaring noise came from below the cliff. Aaron, Gallus and Alterro looked down. "What was that?"

"Even I don't know," Alterro said.

"The seal... has been broken! Now, I'm free!"

"That doesn't sound good," Gallus said.

"Faster!" Aaron called out. Then the ropes started being pulled up faster, along with the three. They eventually came out of the Abyss and they all got the ropes off them. Then Aaron, the Young 6, Zipp, Pipp and Alterro headed for the Marestream. Aaron, the Young 6, Zipp and Pipp got in, but Alterro wasn't able to fit through the door.

"I can't get in!" Alterro called out.

"Get on the roof, and hang on to the front!" Zipp said. Alterro then did as he was told, and then the Marestream started taking off, heading back to Maretime Bay. Alterro was holding on for dear life.

"What was that thing?" Gallus asked, looking back towards the Abyss.

"I don't know," Aaron said. "Let's hope he won't find us."

As the Marestream was flying away from Griffonstone, something red came out from Abysmal Abyss and landed on the side of the cliff.

"Finally... out of that seal that my creator had put on me for trying to do things my way! I will redeem myself, Grogar!" The creature then looked up and saw the Marestream flying away from that location. "Harmonic magic. Time for me to take it." It then started following the Marestream.

Back in Maretime Bay, in the cave that Allura was living in, Allura and Twitch were resting together. Allura then looked towards the entrance of the cave, seeing a wall of ice there. Allura smirked at that and closed her eyes.

Then fire burned through the ice wall, startling Allura and angering her. She then growled and stomped towards the cave. She then asked, "What do you...?!" She then gave off wide eyes. Standing in front of her were Aaron, the Young 6, Zipp, Pipp and Alterro. "Brother?"

"Hello, Allura," Alterro said.

"But how?" Allura asked.

"I know that family is important," Ocellus said. "I looked into your memories and saw that you two were separated as cubs. So, I had a new friend of mine search for you."

"Allura," Alterro said. "They helped me get out of a sticky situation. So, I owe them."

"What is it we have to do?" Allura asked.

"You two head up to a mountain with no intelligent inhabitants and stay there," Aaron said. "No mind controlling, and no attacking any pony. If you decide to come down, do not attack any pony. You can make it a snow day to keep up with your natural environment. But that's it."

"Deal," Allura said. "And thank you." Then Allura and Alterro spread their wings. Allura waited for Twitch to come. He then jumped on Allura's back and then the two winged snow leopards took to the sky, heading off somewhere.

"You think they'll be able to keep their word?" Pipp asked.

"Who knows," Aaron said. "Usually it'll take a while for villains to reform. Just take a look at Discord. It took him a little over a full season to finally reform when Tirek betrayed him."

"That true," Yona said. "Although, Discord not very good teacher or student."

"I saw that episode, Yona," Aaron said. "And I still can't believe he hired a Dragon Sneeze Tree as a substitute."

"A Dragon 'What' Tree?" Pipp asked.

"It's a tree that sprouts flowers that makes all dragons sneeze," Smolder said. "I accidentally singed Silverstream's mane during that class."

Aaron then showed Pipp a picture of a Dragon Sneeze Tree on his phone. She then went wide eyed. Aaron then said, "Try not to make that flower into a perfume. Or else Sparky will be sneezing fire everywhere."

"Of course not," Pipp said, getting nervous. She then laughed nervously. She then pulled out her phone and flew off somewhere. "Hello, flower delivery service. Remember those black and orange flowers I ordered? Cancel the order please."

Aaron, the Young 6 and Zipp looked towards Pipp as they heard what she said. Then they all started laughing.

"I think I just did Maretime Bay a favor," Aaron said.

"And Sparky," Zipp said. "How about we all head on over to Sunny's smoothie stand and get some smoothies and spend the rest of the day at the Boardtrot?"

"Yeah," Aaron and the Young 6 said. Then they all headed towards the Boardtrot.

Author's Note

Well, Yona has her Cutie Mark now. I am unable to find a picture of her with a Cutie Mark, but at least she has hers. All that's left out of the teens to get their marks are Aaron and Smolder. As for that creature, you're probably wondering where he came from. Let's just say, he's their destiny from the Series Finale of G4. Here's an image for what I'm talking about:
