Besides, if anything were to happen, we can be there in the blink of an eye.” He stated with a prideful grin. Fluttershy smiled while looking up at him, but her expression shifted to a confused look while looking up at the sky. “What is it my dear?” He said trying to match her gaze. Expecting to see some sort of animal, what he saw was glowing object in the middle of the sky. “What is that Discord?” Fluttershy asked. Instead of answering, Discord brought his hands to his eyes and pulled them out to act as binoculars.”hmmmm..*GASP*Grab on flutterbutter!” Without waiting for her to respond, Discord grab onto her and teleported a few meters away right as the object crashed into the earth not too far from where they were standing originally. “That was c-c-c-close” Fluttershy stated in between breaths. “What was that? A meteor?” She asked as she was trying to see the object through the dust and smoke casued by the crashing object. “Discord? What is it?” She’s asked when he didn’t answer. “It’s not a rock....its...a ship” He said. “A ship?” Like an a-a-a-alien ship? What if its-” before she could finish, a loud cry rung out causing their heads to snap towards the craft. Without thinking, Fluttershy swooped over to the craft and looked through a window like opening. “DISCORD! There’s something in there, it looks like a baby dragon!” She said as the infant looked up at her, having heard her voice. “Here, allow me to get it open” He said as his eagle claw turned into a buzz saw and proceeded to cut the craft open. “Annnnd open sesame” He said as Fluttershy reached in, grabbed the infant and held it in her hoofs. As she holds the infant she takes the time to get a better look at him."What do you think he is Discord?" She asks him."I've never seen a dragon like this before" The infant then looks at Discord, as if understanding that it's him she's talking to. "I'm not quite too sure my dear, I can't say I've seen anything quite like him in my many years of existence, nor heard any stories of him from Egghead- er, I mean Twilight." He says with a confused tone."Besides," he starts as he looks over towards the crashed vessel."I don't believe he's from around here". Upon closer investigation, something catches his eye. "You know, if I'm not mistaken, I'd say he could be around Entropy's age..oh my, how do you think she'll react to him? You don't think she'd be scared of him do you?" She asks him, not noticing him fixated in the chamber of the pod the infant resided in just mere moments prior."Discord?" She asks noticing that he's not paying attention. “There’s something else in the ship, it’s some kind of device, Ooooo a button” Discord says with a smile as he presses the button. “Wait wha-” Fluttershy starts to say as all of a sudden the device projects an image of a being that looks just like the infant, only larger, older, and more feminine. “To whoever finds this message, I am Queen Jira, Queen of the Zilla Race, a highly advanced Species. Within the pod resides an infant, last son and heir of zilla major....my son. It is with much regret that I will never be able to watch him grow nor give him a name worthy of the warrior and leader he will grow to be. As I’m recording this, our main sequence star is in the process of dying and will consume our world. I ask of whoever discovers him, please raise and care for him. Within in the pods data base is our history, customs and biology, everything you will need to know on how to care for him. Goodbye my little comet” The hologram of Queen Jira says before it fades away as the pod begins downloading all the information. Fluttershy then looks down at the infant, who was now sleeping soundly nuzzled into her chest.”oh you poor thing, I couldn’t imagine being the last of my kind, especially at such a young age. I promise you, we’ll take care of you and raise you to be the best you can be, right Discord?” Fluttershy states as she looks up at him. “I couldn’t have said it better myself my dear. I believe this is the start of a grand adventure, and we’ll do it together.” After hearing that she smiled up towards him. "How do you think everyone will react towards him?" She asks Discord. "Not sure, but I'm sure they'll grow to accept him, especially since itll be you taking part in raising him. Who knows, maybe this little one will bring some more harmony and hopefully some disharmony to Equestria." He says with a smile. Suddenly her expression changed, as if you dire thought crossing into her mind. "Wait, she said she never got to name him, we can't just leave him without a name" She says with a slight frown. "Hmmm..maybe the information in this device could give us some ideas, maybe a name from his homeworld" He states as he presses the button once more and a holographic screen appears. "Let's see, let's go with history, maybe we can find a name there." He says as she scrolls through their history. Within he reads the beginning of their race, the wars, peacetime, and ultimately, the time leading up to their demise. "Here's 2, Andros the conqueror and druidas the saint. Maybe we could combine the names?" He asks her as the sun finally goes down and slight breeze picks up. Upon feeling this, the infant shudders in his sleep, nuzzling deeper into Fluttershys chest. "That could work Discord, but maybe we should continue this back at home, and after we pick up Entropy. We can decide on a name while the two meet each other." She says as Discord picks them both up with one arm. "Great idea my dear" He says as the three of them vanish along with the pod into thin air. "Ugh...note to self, ask aunty Celestia to make the Sun shine dimmer and aunty Luna to make the night longer..." says a voice from within the blanket. Unknowingly to the source of the voice, a small figure of mismatched body parts suddenly and quietly appears over them. *giggle*"now I got you" says a high pitched feminine voice, when all of a sudden the figure drops onto the bed, right on top of the lump in the blankets. "LOOK OUT BELOW!" She screams at the top of her lungs. "Oof! ENTROPY! What'd I tell you about jumping on me like that!?" Says the figure as he lifts up his head to reveal a rectangular, Ridgeline, reptilian face looking at her with an annoyed expression. *giggle*"oh come bro, it's not that big of a deal. It's funny" the figure known as Entropy says in between laughing. "Besides, mom and dad sent me to wake you up, it's time for breakfast" She says as she jumps off the bed, only to float above the ground. "Now come on sleepy head, get up before I eat your breakfast" She says as she uses her magic to open the door and float out. As he gets up with a groan, he shifts the blanket off his body as he stretches out his wings. "Tssk... must have slept on them wrong again." He says with a slight hiss in his voice. "SON! BREAKFAST IS READY!" a male voice calls out to him. "Coming dad!" He responds as jumps out of bed, takes flight and flies out the door into the living room. Once entering the room he gently lands on the ground and walks into the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, he's nostrils are met with the sweet aroma of pancakes and syrup in the air. "Good morning Eclipse, how'd you sleep?" the child now know as Eclipse looks up to see his father, the lord of chaos, Discord. "I slept good dad, wings are sore but I'll be fine" Eclipse says as he walks over to the table where his sister Entropy and his mother, the Element of Kindness, Fluttershy are sitting down with a plates and cups set up on the table ready for the upcoming meal. "Oh good morning sweetheart, sleep well?" Fluttershy says with her kind tone of voice. "I slept well, up until someone woke me up rudely" He says while glaring at Entropy. Upon seeing the glare, Fluttershy gave her daughter a stern look, "Entropy, how exactly did you wake up your brother when I sent you to?" She asked her. Feeling her gaze Entropy shifts in her seat and laughed nervously, "I may have jumped on him to wake him up" she said with a nervous smile and look in her eyes. After hearing that, Fluttershy looked at her, sighed and said "Apologize to your brother, now" with a stern voice. Groaning annoyingly "But-" before she could even say anything, Eclipse intervened "It's alright mom, she was only playing around. Besides, it didn't really hurt" He says with a smile. Upon hearing this, Entropy smiles while looking at him. "You know if you keep letting her get away with things like this, she'll keep doing them" Fluttershy says with a small smile while taking a sip from her tea. "It's fine mom, really, plus it's fun, especially when I get her back for it" He says with a cocky grin. "Oh is that so little brother?" She says returning a cocky smile. " you know we're the same age right?" He says with a deadpan look. "Yeah but I feel older" She says smiling to him. After hearing that Eclipse simply rolls his eyes while smiling then takes a seat next to her. "Is food almost ready?" He asks his mother. "I think your father is almost done cooking" after she said that, Discord appeared in the chair across from her along with a stack of thirty pancakes appearing in the center of the table. "Breakfast is served my wonderful family, dig in" He says making a handkerchief appearing tucked into spot where his neck and body connected as if it were a shirt. After saying that, everyone starts to fill their plates with pancakes and begin eating. "I swear your cooking gets better everyday dad." Entropy says in between chews. Which Fluttershy begins to scold her for. "What have I told you about talking with your mouth full of food Entropy?" She says with a scolding tone. *gulp*"Sorry mom." She says swallowing the rest of her food. "But really dad, it's really good!" She says taking another bite. "She's right dad, really good" Eclipse says wolfing down three more pancakes in one go. "Why thank you my little bundles of chaos" Discord says with a prideful grin. After gulping down his fourth pancake, Eclipse perked his head up towards his mother, "oh hey mom, do you think i could go to Sweet Apple Acres and hang out with AppleSpice? She asked if I wanted to come over yesterday after school and I said I'd ask" he asked. Hearing this, she made a knowing smile "oh I don't see any reason as to why you can't, do you Discord?" she asked Discord with the same smile. Picking up on this, Discord made the same smile at his wife "No my dear, I don't see why he can't go visit his little 'friend' today" Picking up on this too, Entropy started to laugh quietly. "What? what's so funny?" Eclipse asked noticing how everyone seemed to be in on something he wasn't. "oh nothing sweetie, yes you can go visit her today" Fluttershy says smiling. "Just be back before your curfew" she adds. "I will mom, I'm gonna go get ready, may I be excused?" he asks her and Discord. "Yes you may, have fun" Fluttershy says to him. "And be sure to keep things Pg now" Discord adds on with a devious grin. Hearing that, Eclipse blushes a deep purple. Luckily he was already turned away from the table. "yeah yeah dad, we will" he grumbles as he walks away to start getting ready. *20 minutes Later* After saying goodbye to his family, Eclipse takes to the air and begins his flight towards Sweet Apple Acres. After flying for a few minutes he reaches Ponyville and takes the time to look the town over and all its inhabitants. While growing up, it took the ponies of the quiet little town to get used to his family, especially him and his father. So every now and then he'd see some ponies get startled at the first sight of him, but not all seemed to be bothered by him. One of the inhabitants who enjoyed his company poked her head out a window of a house that looked like a bunch of desserts put together. *GASP* "GOOD MORNING ECLIPSE! WHERE YOU GOING?" Screamed a loud excited Pink Pony. "Good Morning Aunty Pinky, I'm just heading to Sweet Apple Acres to see if she wanted to hang out today" Eclipse said as he started to hover not to far from the window. "That sounds fun, you two should stop by here later today. I'll treat you two to some new recipes I've been trying out, free of charge!" Pinkie said with a smile. "Sure thing! We'll definitely stop by later today." He says with enthusiasm. "I'll See you later Aunty Pinkie" He says as he starts to fly off. "See ya later!" Pinkie says as she pops back through the window into the building to start cooking. After flying for a few more minutes and watching as Ponyville fades into the distance, more and more apple trees come into view until a whole acre of them are seen. Upon reaching the entrance to the Apple Family farm, Eclipse lands and begins to walk along the path to the front door of the farmhouse. Once he reached the door, he raised his hand to knock on the door until his ears picked up on a noise from above him. Looking up to investigate the noise, he was suddenly tackled by a green and red blur. after regaining his senses, he looked to see a green snout and a pair of amber eyes staring at him. "Hi Eclipse!" said a light green pony with a big red bow, a dark red mane, slit eyes, reptilian wings and a pointed tail. Seeing who it was, Eclipse smiled and gave a chuckle. "Hey AppleSpice" he said. "What're you doing here?" She asked him while getting from on top of him. "I came over to ask if you wanted to hang out today" he said getting. Upon hearing this Applespice's face grew to a big grin. "Well of course I do, but I'll have to ask my parents." she said starting to walk toward a group of apple trees. "Come on, they're working in the fields right now." she said. "Alright, just lead the way" Eclipse said speed walking to catch up to her and walk along side her. "So, if my parents are alright with us hanging out today, any ideas on what we can do?" she asked. "I was thinking we could fly around and go to Sugercube Corner. Aunty Pinkie offered some new recipes for us to try." He said looking at her with a smile. With a bright smile on her face, AppleSpice nodded excitedly. "Well what're we waiting for? Lets get over to my folks and ask if we can hang out!" She said excitedly as she ran towards a pair standing underneath an apple tree. "MA! PA!" She shouted. The pair looked over at the duo running towards them. One being a butter colored mare with a red bow and red mane, her mother, Applebloom. The other being a bipedal purple dragon with green spikes running from the top of his head to the tip of his tail, her father, Spike. The latter of the two stood completely up and said as the two stopped in front of them "AppleSpice? What're you doing out here? You should be inside doing your chores." Then he noticed who was with her "and why's Eclipse here?" he asked Looking up at them, she breathed in then out and put on the best puppy dog eyes she could muster. "Ma, Pa, I finished all my chores and even did extra, may I please go hang out with Eclipse for the rest of the day?" she asked them. "I don't know, what do you say Applebloom?" Spike asked his wife. "hmmm..did you complete all your chores?" Applebloom asked her daughter, who only nodded. "You even fed all the animals? Cleaned out their pens and you helped your aunty and granny clean up after breakfast?" she asked with her brow up. To which AppleSpice only nodded. "Yes Ma" she said looking up at her mother. "Well Alright, but you'll be back home before Celestia Lowers the sun" she said looking at her daughter, then looked over to the boy standing next to AppleSpice "and you will not only have my daughter home on time but you will walk her to my door, understood" she said giving the boy a stern look. "Yes Ma'am" he said with a gulp. With a nod of her head, the two friends turned and ran off into the distance. "SugarCube Corner here we come!" AppleSpice says as she extends her wings and with a few flaps she takes off in the direction of the aforementioned bakery. With a grin Eclipse does the same and follows after her. "Last one there buys the other a milkshake!" he yells as he speeds off in the distance. Sporting a identical cocky grin "Oh you're on!" she says with spunk as she races off, catching up to him. As they fly over Ponyville, the gusts created from their speed knocked over potted plants, signs, and even knocked over a few of the inhabitants who were unlucky enough to be in their paths. With the bakery in sight both fliers started to pick up speed until suddenly AppleSpice did a barrel roll, which intentionally caused her mane to brush against his face and make he slow down a bit out fear of flying into her. "Gotcha!" She screams as she levels herself out and lands on the ground and slides on her feet to the door with a cocky grin. "I'll be expecting my milkshake, an apple one please my good sir" she says looking at him as he lands in front of her. "That move was cheap and you know it" he says with a slightly annoyed expression. "But a deal is a deal" he says as he walks into the bakery with AppleSpice following after him smiling. Walking in the duo were met by an explosion of confetti and a pink pony. "I was wondering when you two would show up!" Pinkie says with excitement. "I already got a table ready for you two" she says as she leads the two to a table by a window. "Thanks Aunty Pinkie" AppleSpice said smiling at her overly excited aunt. "So what will you two be having?" She asks the two best friends. "One Apple Pie Milkshake with Gem Sprinkles please." AppleSpice asks with a smile. "And I'll have a Strawberry Shortcake Milkshake please. Also, are you still offering those new recipes?" Eclipse asks her. "You betcha! I'll bring those out with your drinks" she says as she hops away towards the kitchen. "A deal is deal, I'll grab my bag of bits" Eclipse says as he snaps his claws and a bag appears in his hand. "You sure are getting better at your chaos magic!" AppleSpice tells him. "Yeah, the training me and Entropy get from Dad sure is paying off. I still remember how surprised he was when I first used my magic." he says as he sets the bag on the table. "How're things at the farm going?" he asks her. "They're going well, ma and pa are finally letting me help out with chores, and they're having me take care of granny smith...she's a tough old pony I'll tell you that." she says with a chuckle. "Yeah, dad always wonders how she's still able to do what she does at such an old age." He says. AppleSpice giggles at that as Pinkie Pie returns with their treats. "Here is one Apple Pie Milkshake with Gem Sprinkles, one Strawberry Shortcake Milkshake and a plate full of my new cupcake recipes! We got Chocolate Strawberry, Lemon Creme, Chocolate and Banana, Neapolitan, Vanilla with strawberry bits in it, "Funfetti",*inhales* and Chocolate and apple!" She sets the plate down on the table in between them. "ENJOY!" she says as she hops away with a smile leaving them with their milkshakes and a pile of sweet goodness. "wow...she wasn't kidding about new recipes" He says as he took a sip from his milkshake while grabbing one of the chocolate apple cupcakes. AppleSpice nods in agreement taking a sip from hers as well and grabbing a Vanilla Strawberry cupcake. "Lets see how they taste" she says with a smile as she takes a bite, Eclipse doing the same. After chewing for a bit both AppleSpice and Eclipse stare blankly at each other before eating the rest of their respective cupcake. "WOW! that's really good!" AppleSpice says with a smile as she grabs another cupcake, this time being one of the Lemon Creme ones. "Yeah! I'll give it aunty pinkie, she never disappoints when it comes to cupcakes!" He says as he grabs one of the Funfetti cupcakes. The two of them continue to eat the rest of the cupcakes and finish their milkshakes, once finished they pay for their treats and say their goodbyes to Pinkie. Once outside they start to walk through town AppleSpice looks over at Eclipse "You ready for school next week?" she asked him. sighing, he responds with "I guess, not really a big fan of school. If anything getting to see you everyday makes up for it" unbeknownst to him, she blushes a little to that but quickly collects herself. "oh you, I guess you make school bearable too" she says smugly as Eclipse returns the same smug look forming an idea. "oh is that so?" he asks. "it is" she answers. "If that's how it is....then how about we play an old game of ours and settle this?" he says with a smug look. Hearing this she looks at him "no....no you don't...don't even think about it" she says backing up. smirking, Eclipse quickly grabs her bow in his mouth pulling it off her head and starts to sprint off. "Well would you look at that, caught you. Again." she said catching her breath. "I'll be taking that now" She says as she yanked her bow from his mouth with her own, then putting it back on with her hooves. "There, back where you belong." she says as she gets off of him and he gets up. "Nice tackle" he says brushing off some dirt from his arm, then suddenly forms a smug smile "though it could've been better" Hearing this she looks at him pouting "How many times do I have to tell you not to touch my bow" "Oh come on, you know you have fun with that game, look at how fast you caught me. You're getting faster everyday" He says with a smile full of pride, pride for her. Looking at him she smiles brightly "Yeah you're right..but" She quickly takes her hoof and smacks it against his face, so much force it knocks him to the ground "Don't touch my bow" she says with a glare. Chuckling he says "aright alright" when suddenly Entropy poofed in between the two. "huh? Sis? what're you doing here?" Eclipse asked with a confused face and tone. "Mom sent me to tell you she needs you home" She says with a smile then looks over at AppleSpice "Oh hey AppleSpice! Is my brother treating you well?" She asks with a smile. Chuckling at the question and getting a quick glance at Eclipse she looks back at Entropy with a smile and says "Yes he is Entropy, he just treated me to a nice day" Blushing at the statement, he quickly collected himself and looked at his sister "Tell mom I'll be home in a bit, I'm gonna take AppleSpice home." After hearing this Entropy quickly nodded "Okie dokie bro, I'll let her know. Bye AppleSpice!" Entropy says as she disappears in a plume of smoke and confetti leaving the other two standing there with a knowing smile. "She never changes huh?" AppleSpice says with a chuckle to Eclipse, who simply responds with his own chuckle and nod. "welp, lets head back to the farm so you can get back and see what Aunt Fluttershy needs" She says with a smile as she steps next to him with a smirk "How about we test out your teleporting? If Entropy can do it so well, maybe you can" With a nervous look he nods and raises his hand "Ready?" he asks as she nods in response "Alright, here goes nothing" he says as he snaps his fingers teleporting the two in front of the farm house. "well here we are" he says as he looks at AppleSpice. "Thanks for taking me out today, see you at school tomorrow?" she asks with a smile "Wouldn't miss it for the world" he says with small smile while leaning forward to stand on all fours "I'll see you tomorrow AppleSpice" he says as she smiles at him while walking into the farm house. Sighing he teleports home, appearing in the middle of the living room where Fluttershy is waiting for him. "Welcome home sweetie, have fun with AppleSpice?" She asks with smile, but has a certain aura surrounding her, as if something was amidst. "Is something wrong mom?" he asked starting to sweat, when he suddenly notices Entropy sitting in a corner facing the wall with a cartoon-like bump on her head. "What happened to Entropy?" he asked starting to sweat even more when suddenly he hears a popping sound behind him, turning to find his father and an upset looking Twilight, who has glasses and a mustache drawn on her face with what seems to be permanent marker "uh oh" "Uh oh is right mister, now I usually condone pranks, but I have to side with your mother on this one, especially since you two had to clearly sneak out at night to pull this off. Breaking one of my few rules." he says with a stern tone. With a nervous gulp, Eclipse prepares himself for the punishment he will receive in a matter of seconds.
