I remember that night, and how it ended. I was supposed to meet up with some old friends, but they didn't show up in the end, good for them. I was walking to the party, until I saw a girl being harassed by a guy. I wanted to go help her, but it wasn't necessary, the girl knocked him out easily.

A girl with a tough look, it was obvious that she was a girl you shouldn't mess with.

"Wow, you kicked that trash's ass" I said.

She just looked at me.

"Did you piss yourself out of fear?" Lemon smiled.

"No. He did" the girl said coldly, and walked away.

"Hey, my name is-"

"I'm not interested in knowing your name" said the fiery haired girl.

"The guy said Sunset, that's your name, right? I see you like to dress in leather, do you like rock? What kind?" Lemon asked. "I like it too, but I almost always listen to a more pop rock style, what kind of instrument-"

I was interrupted by the girl who stopped, making me bump into her back.

"Why are you following me?!" Sunset shouted annoyed.

"I'm not following you, we're just going to the same place" Lemon replied.

"I'm heading to a party on the outskirts of town" Sunset replied.

"The one on the last street? I'm going there too" Lemon said.

"What?!" Sunset said angrily.

"Come on, we'll be late" Lemon said.

IShe made an annoyed sound, and followed me with an annoyed look. I tried to bring up conversation topics, but she ignored me, or so I thought. She seemed rude and cold, but you could tell she was comfortable talking to someone. That was until we got to that house

"Sunset was an Aria?!" Sonata laughed.

"Not exactly" Lemon said

"Yeah, it wasn't that bad" Blues said.

"What the fuck does that mean?!" Aria said furiously.

"Enough Aria, this story is getting boring. In short; they went to a party, where was there a murderer who crashed parties to kill for pleasure?" Adagio ask.

"Yeah, and that party was the last time he was seen" Blues said.

"What happened to him?" Sonata ask.

"They say he ran away and hide to attack again, others say he died because one of his victims fought back," Lemon said.

"Is that victim the guy seen on the news? That Sky Hawk guy," Aria asked.

They both stayed silent.

"We don't know for sure. We met him at the party, he was nice, well, I think so," Blues said.

"We thought he was dead. Blues came when I called him, when things got really bad, he saved me, but I didn't hear from him or Sunset for a few hours" Lemon said.

"The rest of the story, that guy or Sunset knows it, doesn't?" Adagio asked.

"That's right, but after what happened to her, we have to let her rest," Blues said.

"We'll have to wait, let's go to sleep," Adagio said.

They cleaned everything up and each fell asleep with a Dazzling. Aria with Blues, in different beds of course. Lemon with Sonata. And Sunset stayed with Adagio. The leader of sirens arranged her bed as best as possible so as not to disturb the pony girl.

"This meeting didn't go as planned, I didn't expect you act like this" said Adagio, to the sleeping Sunset. "Oh well, I'll have to find another time to tell you my feelings, for now..."

slowly leaned down to kiss her forehead and caress her hair.

"I'll settle for this~" smiled as she kissed the girl's forehead again. "Sweet dreams, Sunny~"

Sunset woke up with a horrible headache, she realized she fell asleep, wanted to get up, but something was holding her arm, when she looked, she blushed a lot.

Adagio asleep next to her?! But what happened last night?

She remembered went to the kitchen for something to eat, and then... the tv news. She felt like she was going to have another attack, but a hand held her.

"Good morning Sunset" said Adagio, awake. "How are you feeling?"

"I... what..."

"Relax, you had an anxiety attack, after seeing the news about a party killer" said Adagio.

"So... it wasn't a hallucination, it was real" said Sunset.

"Don't be upset, Lemon told us a little about it, just about how you met, and about your phase being an Aria" smiled the leader siren.

"Yeah, I'm not proud of that" Sunset laugh . "She just say that?"

"Yeah, your friends wanted to respect your decision to not say anything until you were okay" said Adagio. "So, What's wrong with you Sunset?"

"I-"

"Adagio! Wake up Sunset! We have to go to school!" Lemon suddenly shouted.

"I-I better get ready" said Sunset getting up from the bed, and grabbed her clothes. "I know what you're thinking, and no, there won't be any more secrets again. I promise to tell them everything, but not now"

"I'll take your word Sunny, let me take you to school, and I won't take no for an answer" Adagio smiled, stretched and grabbed a towel to go take a shower. "Take your time Sunny~"

Sunset blushed deeply when she saw the siren wink at her and move her hips to the bathroom. She managed to recover and got dressed, waiting for her. She came out already dressed, with an outfit worthy of her, very sexy. They went down to the living room where everyone was ready, they got into the Dazzlings' van heading to the city.

"Blues, why did happen to you hair?" asked Sunset.

She saw her friend with his school uniform all done up and his hair combed back

"My dad will be at school, and I won't tell him about my change yet" the boy said nervously.

"Gay change" Aria said, driving.

"Yeah, gay change" Blues said.

"You'll tell him later, now I need to get to school, I've waited too long for these games" Lemon said.

"Good for you" Sunset said.

"Oh come on Sunset, relax a little, I'll be nice to you" Lemon smiled.

"We'll see" Sunset said angrily.

The van crossed its last stoplight, it was too early for there to be any cars, they only had one black car next to them. When the light was green, they continued on their way, the other car turned left. That car was a very relieved woman, and a man driving a little scared.

"You've been very quiet honey, is everything okay?" the woman said.

"Leave him alone woman, the boy has been through a lot" said the driver. "Don't worry son, everything will be okay, I know it's been hard for you, but we'll work it out" he looked at the back seat.

"Finally the accusations against you are over, and no one will ever accuse you of those horrible events, of that crazy party killer" said the woman.

A boy with blue hair and orange eyes was silent, as if in a kind of trance. That boy was Sky Hawk.

First they left the Lemon siblings to Crystal Prep. Lastly they left Sunset in Canterlot.

"Thanks again" Sunset said, taking her backpack.

"I'll see you later Sunset, you know where" Adagio said.

"And don't kill anyone again with your demon side" Aria smiled.

"I've never killed anyone Aria, and I don't plan to" Sunset said.

"Don't listen to her Sunny, good luck in the games. We would have liked to see them" Sonata said.

"Maybe Lemon will record some things, bye girls" Sunset said.

She got out of the van heading to school, and watched the group leave. Sunset had recently confessed her demon side to them. Aria was the most skeptical of the group, but eventually accepted it. Sunset went to the library to hang out, but was disappointed to see too many students. Apparently these games have everyone super concentrated. Even Rainbow and the others were there, she didn't want to deal with them now, she spent the rest of the morning somewhere else.

Later, everyone gathered at the stage where the battle of the bands was. She sat in the farthest bleachers possible. She took her camera to record a bit, Sonata asked to see some of the games. While she waited for the speech, she noticed several students murmuring and looking at her from time to time. But when she looked back they moved away in fear. Her situation was better, she was no longer bullied, but they still didn't fully accept her. It wasn't something Sunset cared about anymore. But that didn't matter anymore, the directors arrived and made their announcement.

"As I'm sure you all know, tomorrow Canterlot High School will be welcome hosting our fellow students from the Crystal Prep Academy. As we join together in the spirit of excellence sportsmanship and fidelity and to compete in the friendship games."

Everyone applauded with the greatest pessimism possible, even Sunset was surprised.

"Since the games only happen every four years, I'm sure you all curious what's going on" Celestia said.

"You mean other than us losing!" Flash Sentry shouted.

"And that's exactly why I asked Rainbow Dash to come and give you all a little, um context," she handed her the microphone.

"Thank you Principal Celestia," she cleared her throat. "I know a lot of you might think there's no way we can beat a fancy school like Crystal Preap at anything," Rainbow said.

"Except lose to Crystal at everything, because we dominate at that" Pinkie shouted.

"Ugh! And I know CHS has never won the Friendship Games even once"

"Oh dear. I hope her speech isn't meant to be motivational," Rarity said to Fluttershy.

"Crystal Prep students are super athletic, Super smart, and super motivated. But there's one thing they aren't. They aren't Wondercolts!"

At the end of the song, Rainbow transformed with her wings, ears and mane just like in the battle of the bands. That surprised everyone a lot and motivated the games. Everyone applauded for the great number, except Sunset, she was only surprised by Rainbow's transformation.

"Sunset Shimmer" the voice of the vice principal Luna made her react. "Come with me" she obeyed.

They headed behind the stage where the rest of the group was.

"Is anybody else wondering how Dash poined up without playing her guitar?" Applejack asked.

"I know! right?, it's probably becase I'm so awesome" Rainbow said.

"I don't doubt it dear, but isn't it much of a coincidence?" Rarity said.

"Well it would be nice if you girls could get a handle on it" the Vice Principal said. "We'd like to keep magic as far away from the Friendship Games as possible, we don't want to be accused of cheating"

"We don't need magic to defeat those hoity-toity Crystal Preppers" Rarity said elegantly. With the support of her friends.

"Still the Friendship Games are serious business, we don't want any surprises, especially the kind that could cause forfeit" Luna said. "Sunset Shimmer; you came here from a world of magical, perhaps you can get to the bottom of our magical development"

"I'll do my best" Sunset said.

The Vice Principal nodded and left.

"Okay, anyone have any guesses what events are gonna be?" asked Rainbow

"They won't even let us see what they're doing to the field, you'd think they'd at least tell the competitors what they're competing in" said Applejack.

"It could be anything" said Fluttershy.

"ANYTHING?! How will I ever pick the right outfit?" said Rarity in panic.

Sunset went to the exit door.

"Where are you going, Sunset?" asked Pinkie.

"I need to focus figuring out why Raindow Dash poined up. Bye" said Sunset.

"Wasn't the speech enough to motivate you?" whispered Raindow.

"Oh believe me, I paid attention to your speech" said Sunset annoyed, before slamming the door shut.

"What's wrong with her now?" said Rainbow confused.

"I don't know Dash, maybe she's just upset to see that drawing of her as a demon" said Applejack.

"Ugh! I didn't mean to insult her, I just needed some examples to motivate the school" Raindow defended herself.

"Maybe these games will finally give us the opportunity to spend time with her" said Fluttershy.

"You're right, besides, it's good to have her on the team" said Applejack.

"Seems like she have everything under control, nothing to worry about" said Pinkie happily.

But that wasn't true. Sunset went to the library to review her notes on this new discovery. She pretended to study so as not to be discovered, but she couldn't figure this out, so she got frustrated. She looked at her old book for a moment.

"Gonna talk with the little princess~?" said "Dee" suddenly.

"What are you doing here? You don't show up at this hour," Sunset said in surprise, looking around.

"And miss the new show~? Forget it. Now listen to me and cover your mouth so they don't think you're talking to yourself," the demon laughed.

"What do you want now?" Sunset whispered.

"I want to know how you plan to keep the magic under control. You should know something by now, right?"

"Well, I don't know yet. All I see is that they transform when they play music. But what I saw makes me think that the magic is constantly changing here."

"Interesting theory, we'll see how true it is~" smiled.

"If that's what you're here for, you can get to fuck out now" Sunset said annoyed.

"I'm just messing with ya. The truth is, I felt a strange sensation at school, similar when the Dazzlings arrived the first time."

"Really? Could it be since Raindow and the others transform when they sing?" asked Sunset.

"I don't think so. I've been feeling it since yesterday" said "Dee"

"Yesterday? You don't mean that girl I saw in the statue, don't you?" said Sunset surprised.

"I can't confirm that, it doesn't feel like when that princess or those sirens came, the magic does feel different" said "Dee"

"I hope she doesn't come back, I already have enough things to do" said Sunset.

"You won't have to wait that long~, the Preppies arrived, and your friend too" she smiled.

"She told me that she doesn't want us to interact during the games, she doesn't want them to think that because she's my friend I'm betraying the school and look at me with more hatred than usual" said Sunset.

"Riiiighht~ and it's not because she's ashamed of you" smiled the demon with a grin.

"She's not like that. She's better than that" smiled Suset, she watched through the window as her friend got off the bus, jumping like crazy when she hears music.

"Anyway, let me know when things get interesting"

"Well I hope not, so I don't have to deal with you too" said Sunset, leaving the library.

She walked through the hallways of the school, but when she turned a corner, she saw the possible headmistress of the rival school. She was with... Twilight Sparkle?!

"Sunset! I'm glad you showed up" said Rarity.

"We need to talk" said Applejack.

Walking through the hallways, they explained to Sunset what happened.

"I can't believe our world's Twiligh goes to Crystal Prep" said Rarity.

"You're saying that Twilight's gonna play against us?! She'd never do that" said Rainbow.

"Our Twilight wouldn't" said Fluttershy.

"That Twilight is a princess of Equestria with her own problems" said Sunset.

"Right, we certainly can't expect her drop everything and pop through the portal whenever, especially if it's to deal with something as minor as a few random pony-ups" said Rarity.

"Exactly, besides we can handle this. Come on guys, let's see if we can find any info about the events and come up with a stretch" said Rainbow. "Will you join us Sunset?" she asked.

"I have to do something, I'll... catch up with you guys in a bit" said Sunset.

Rainbow just smiled and left. Sunset thought about it and went to the school statue. She approached the portal, not realizing that someone else was doing it.

"Maybe there's another way to-" but as soon as she put her hand on it, she couldn't get it off. "Hey! Let me go!"

She didn't realize it, but on the other side Twilight was absorbing her magic through the statue with her necklace. Sunset noticed .

"What did you do?!"

But Dean Cadence called out to her and walked away. Sunset tried to check the portal, but it had disappeared, and that scared her a lot.

"Where's the portal?!" said Sunset. "What do I do now, Dee?" No answer. "Dee?" "Dee?!" she screamed in panic.
