Author's Note

Hey everyone. This is my future Halloween Story for October. I know its too early for Halloween but I decided to make a demo chapter for anyone to read. I’m giving this story a week release for everyone to read and comment. After a week, I’ll unpublish this story until October. So enjoy and comment the chapter.

Chapter 1

Planet Earth, A simple world with humans, technology, and zero magic. The legends of monsters and magic are nothing but myths for people’s books, videogames and DeviantArts. As people continue the way of progress, everything changed from clothing, traveling and culinary with a few downfalls like pollution, certain animal extinction and wars but we’re not perfect. Humans has some ups and downs; they’re born rich, poor, happy, and miserable. Let’s start with my miserable life since it’s the start of my story. My name is Z Risks and I’m an example of a human with a miserable life. Let’s begin with my birth; I was an accident (shocker). My parents are known for the wealthy and rich who were stupid enough to ignore the existence of condoms because they are too stubborn to buy condoms from commoners (Their words, not mine). They planned to throw me away but given that there are well known, and they prefer the attention of the paparazzi, they had to hid me in their cheap shack AKA the servants’ dorm. I was raised by the butlers, maids, and kitchen staff, they taught me the necessary things in life; reading, writing and education. The Head Butler, Winston was my teacher who my parents didn’t bother to care about my existence and life taught me for what I need to know. My parents had no care for me after they gave birth to my planned little brother who they decided to be their main purpose, their heir to their fortunes. He maybe 2 years than me but I was forced to deprive him of any contact to him, even show any love to him nor my existence. How I wish Alexander wasn’t tainted by our parents way, perhaps he could have been a raised the correct way but… I was too young to be effective.

26 Years Later
Z Risks was 28 years old, 5’11 ft tall, 169LB, he had large messy black hair as he was repairing a laptop with some spare parts he salvage from the junkyard. “Hmm… After I fix this old laptop, I’ll repair the damage engine of Mr. Evans’ Truck.” He said as he hook it up to a car battery with a homemade solar panel. “It’s a good thing that panel was thrown away.” He said as he went to a blue tow truck and popped the hood. “Okay…” He said as he twirl some wrenches, tighten some bolts, replace some bolts, and made a makeshift sparkplug for the engine. He went to the truck and turn the key as the engine purred like it was brand-new. “Sweet… HEY MR. EVANS! All done!” Yelled Z as a 40-year-old man came out of a small house and smile.

“Thanks Z.” He said as he pulled out his wallet “How much?”

“On the house. I mean you did let me use some junk to make some makeshift parts.” He said as Mr. Evans pull out a $100 bill.

“Take this.” He said, “Those pieces of shit call parents of your, never cared about you or your health.” He said as Z smile.

“Thank you.” He said as he took the bill and got on a bicycle and pedal away.

“That poor man. If only those parents of his never force him to stay at their property. They’re paranoia of the public knowing he’s their 1st son.” Said Mr. Evans as he entered his truck to find any destroyed or abandon old vehicles.

At the Risk’s Mansion
Z went in the backway, or his parents call it ‘The Common Trash Road’. He parked his bike and as went to the dormitory.

*GUN SHOT*

Z flinched, turned to see his bike was shot and saw his brother with a Skeet gun. “Oops… sorry trash.” Said the man.

“Alexander…” Said Z “Aren’t you too old to harass people?” Asked Z as Alexander mocked his by mouthing out what Z said.

“Not to show how superior the people on high society to your lower trash.” He said as he walked back to the mansion.

“Ugh… how beyond you have fallen brother.” He said sadly as he went in the dormitory.

Night
Z was writing on a notebook “Okay… if I continued to save enough, I’ll legally change my last name and finally cut off this toxic family.” He said as his flip phone rang. He pulled it and flip it open to see the name ‘Mr. Borghi’. Z answered it “Hello Mr. Borghi, how may I help you?” he asked.

“Sorry to call you Z but I got a job for you. I got a called from a customer who needs the best we have.” He explained.

“I don’t know sir…”

“He’ll pay triple for our work and since I know you need the money, I’m letting you know to get that money.” He said as Z smiled.

“Oh… I’ll get ready and head to your building as soon as possible!” he said went to his closet and grabbed his clothes for any electrical engineering. “I better asked Vanessa will pack me a dinner to go.” He said while going out his room and the kitchen. Z came out of his from to see his bike had more bullet holes in it, even the seat had holes. “Ugh… Alexander…” Complained Z as he got on his bike and pedal to his work.

15 Minutes Later
Z pedal to a building as he parked his bike behind the building. An old man came out and toss Z a pair of keys. “Thanks Mr. Borghi.” He said as Mr. Borghi saw Z’s bike.

“Let me guess, your brother?” He asked as Z nodded “I’m sorry but that brother of yours is beyond saving.”

“I know… it just makes me sad that I failed to save him.” Said Z as he got in the van “Also… do you have the address?” Asked Z as Mr. Borghi handed him a note and showed him the address.

“Here it is.” Z looked at it and raised his brow.

“Never heard or I think I seen this address.” He said as Mr. Borghi shrugged his shoulders.

“I think it’s out of the city limits. Gives you some moments of peace.” He said as Z smirked.

“Thanks boss.” He said as he drove off.

“Come back soon, kid.” Said Mr. Borghi.

Z put in the address as he was driving as he found the tunnel through his GPS. “No cars… must be a path that makes you save some minutes on gas.” He said as he saw that there were no lights. “Yikes… better turn on the high beams just to be safe.” He said while driving down the path. “Hope this customer will understand why I’m a few minutes late, I mean his home isn’t located in a known area.” Z said to himself as the tunnel started glowing. “Huh?” The more he drove, the more colors started to appear as Z thought to himself to be in a giant kaleidoscope. “Whoa… Said Z as he continued to drive until he made it to the end of the tunnel. He came out driving as he saw some trees and a stary night with a full moon. Z saw the moon and looked confused “Wait a moment… wasn’t tonight a crescent moon? He said as he continued to drive until he witnessed an odd and large castle with many towers. Z stopped as he looked at the address. “1313 Death Avenue… What a weird address.” He said as he got out and grabbed his toolbox. “I wonder where the doorbell is as he walked up to the gate. “No intercom… I guess this customer is living in an old school building.” Z said to himself as he opened the gate and walked up to the castle doors. “This customer better pay in cash or check because I don’t take credit.” He said, “I wonder why someone like this customer would want to hire a Computer Engineer in an old fashion castle like this?” He wondered.

Hours before Mr. Borghi got a called.

The castle was there as the sound of machinery was loud to hear from the outside, a tower’s room was blown off as smoke came from it. Inside the castle as bats flew around, a shadow was creeping around and headed for a room with the words ‘Schematic Room’. The door opened as the shadow showed it had a hooks for a hands and closed the door behind it. A pair of green eyes wondered in the dark and looked around. An electrical shock happened as a large TV illuminated the room; the shadow belong to a short green hunchback humanoid creature with hooks for hand in ragged clothes and hat. It looked at the TV as it to reveal a long blue brain with eyes balls on it. “Fritz…” Fritz looked happy and bowed to the brain. Something is wrong, Fritz. Fetch me Schematic 13, Fritz.” Fritz smile and turned behind him to see many blueprints and looked confused and scared of failing his master. “The red one.” He said as Fritz looked happy and looked for it “Once I have corrected this… minor annoyance. I shall go on to execute my grand plan! *Evil Laughing* Fritz founded the red blueprints and placed it down on the table. “Follow the transverse directional rectifier. Go right.” Fritz did what he said but placed his hook on the schematic and started ripping it but go left instead “No! Right, you fool! RIGHT!” He yelled as it Fritz did what it said but… it ruined the blueprints “Oh… no…” He said as he think a bit “I’m going to need proper pair of hands. A computer expert but I cannot risk that infernal Equestrian Task Force from stopping my plans.” He said and imaginary smirked while Fritz just destroyed the schematics while trying to kill a bug. “I think we’ll find our computer expert in the one realm where The ETF cannot use them as spies or moles. FRITZ!!!” Fritz looked up after eating the bug “Activated the Dimensional Portal as soon as we hired our expert. You must prepare for his arrival.” Fritz smiled and rolled up the schematic and strangle it as he put it away. “We must pretend to show our unwitting participant some generosity, luring him into a false sense of security and then… you’ll know what to do. *Evil laughing*” Fritz turned to the brain, thought about it and smirked as he whipped out a machete from his coat and sliced a candle as the room went dark.

Z went to the door and pulled a rope to hear a loud doorbell “Creepy…” He said as the door opened to show Fritz as Z noticed his hook hands and gulped but ignored it. "Greeting Sir, I'm Z Risks from Mr. Borghi’s Electronic Fixers at your service ‘We can fix anything.’ I’m sorry if I’m a bit late but I had a bit of trouble finding your place since it was out of the city where you called my workplace. We understand that your network is down but not to worry, we’ll have it back online." The creature growled and ran ahead to show me where the problem was. I saw a huge computer in front of eyes when the creature showed me "O.K. let me see here." I looked inside it and was surprised "Whoa… I never seen something so… old." Z looked to see what was wrong but couldn't find it "A triple transducing capacitator, a 95-Watt Tube… uh a digital coupling connected to… oh dear…" While Z was checking the problem, Fritz was picking his nose and pulled a huge booger. "Here's the problem sir, it looks like something these diode has burned up. I think I have a way to fix this, do you got any gum I can use?" I turned to the creature that gave me a huge wad of green apple gum “Thank you.” Z thanked Fritz for it; stick it to one of the plugs, stretched to the other and got the whole computer working. I closed it and pulled out a notebook to write up the bill but didn't notice that the creature was bowing and hearing the maniacal laugh. "O.K. sir, your bill is now $169.85 plus tip for fast service, and you did say you’ll pay triple. So it’s now $529.46. I take cash or check." I looked up and saw the computer screen had a blue brain with eyeballs connected to it.

"Neurosis, Dr. Nero Neurosis." It stared at Z and notice what he was seeing

"Wait a moment… are you one of those mad disembodied scientists that are bent on taking over the world?" Dr. Neurosis was surprised what Z said.

"How did you know?" He asked in shock as Z looked a bit nervous

"Well… to be honest, I read a lot of horror/sci-fi stories and my friends let me babysit their kids to show me a lot of videogames showing that, so… I know it’s kind of an average common thing." Said Z which aggravated the brain.

"Average?" I heard thunder crash and looked at Dr. Nero Neurosis' temper rising. "AVARAGE?! I am not average! You are in the presence of a supreme intellect. Z looked at the brain and started to looked annoyed and sighed by the gloating. “My slave-terminals are connected to the world network of both your realm and mine! Soon nothing shall stand in my way (He came out wearing a crown, king's robe and somehow holding a staff) I will…"

"Rule the world." Z interrupt him and said it dully but looked confused. “Wait… realm?” Dr. Neurosis was mad at what Z said and dropped everything on him.

"Fritz, kill him!" Z looked back and saw a lot of explosives around him "Uh-oh!" as Fritz was about to push down the plunder. Z crouch down and covered himself with his arms as the blast covered the whole area, only to discover that it completely missed him, a single board was holding him above a huge hole.

"Fritz, you imbecile! KILL HIM!" Z turned around and saw Fritz hold a cannon (Which he don't know how without hands) put it on his hook, pulled and tossed out a cannonball from his coat into his cannon. Fritz then lighted the cannon and aimed it straight at Z while laughing like a pure lunatic.

"O.K. Z. Think fast, Z." H looked around my surround and looked at Fritz, then an idea popped into his head, but he hope it works. "BOOM!" Fritz looked at Z with chuckles of glee that he got blasted but Fritz was shocked to see that Z was okay. "Hey friend…" Fritz’ eyes stretched out of his sockets and investigated the cannon while the lit was still on and his head in it. The cannon fired while Fritz's head was in it, and Z smiled "SUCKER!!! (Laughing)." Z was still laughing at Fritz, ignoring at the cannonball was flying in the air and started to come down "Oh man!" The cannonball broke the board that was holding Z and he fell down the hole nearly avoiding Fritz's hook slashes.

"Fritz!" Fritz looked at his master "Terminate him with extreme prejudice. Sic him boy!" Fritz opened his coat revealing many kinds of weapons and floated down like a bat in circles.

Outside of Dr, Neurosis’ Castle property
A mass amount of police cars were surrounding the castle as a human with pure white skin and blue hair came out of the car and humanoid creatures came out the police cars. A Human with a dark aura emanating from him. “So… captain Armor… is this where that brain’s base of operation is?” Asked the man.

“Yes, Sombra. This is where Dr. Neurosis is planning to enslave the global network.” He said as a crow flew on his car room and morph into a sexy THICC female adult with pure black skin, emerald hair and eyes with I-Cup Chest in a police uniform. “Have you discovered anything, Chrysalis?” Asked Captain Armor as Chrysalis jumped off.

“Bad news… maybe even worst news.” She said, “From what I gather, Dr. Neurosis terminal was fixed by a human.” She said which got the attention of other policemen as a centaur trotted towards them.

“A HUMAN!? IMPOSSIBLE!!!” He yelled “Humans haven’t been since the Dark Ages.” He said as Chrysalis hissed at him.

“I know what I witnessed, Tirek. Dr. Neurosis managed to bring a human into our realm.” She said, “Since he’s a brain of science, he must have managed to create a device to bring that human to fixed his terminal.” She said “What shall we do, Shining Armor? You know how the council will react to knowing a human is in our realm? They’ll permanently erase his existence like the other humans who came here by accident.” She said which Shining Armor looked worried.

“Ugh… we evolved from needless killing. Until we find him, we must not let the council know of his existence. We’ll send him back how he came in.” Said Shining Armor as he looked at the castle “We must also rescue the hostages in his castle.” Chrysalis narrowed her eyes at him.

“Cadance informed me that your sister might make a rescue attempt.” She said which made Shining Armor flinch.

“That stubborn sister of mine…” He said which made his fellow officers looked at him with pity. “Twily… don’t do something stupid!” He said.

Inside Dr. Neurosis’ Castle
A Woman in her 20’s appeared in a puff of smoke with purple skin, Dark sapphire blue with moderate purple hair with a brilliant raspberry streaks in a robe that looked like it belong to a sage, but it showed her legs, with FF-Cups showing her cleavage. “I don’t care what Shining said. I’m saving my friends.” She said as she looked around as she created a portal hole behind her. “I better make a hideout.” She said as she jumped in the portal, but she got stuck. “Oh no…” She tried to wiggle herself out and she tried to pull herself out. “Oh… fuck my body…” She said in anger.
