It was a cloudy day on the beach and we see an 19 year old dragon named Spike sitting on a blanket bored and gloomy. There's two reasons why he's like that. The first reason is that he was bored because no one was there to play with him and he wished the clouds didn't roll in. The other reason why is because he had gone through a breakup with Rarity. And no it wasn't a rejection. She was moving to Manehattan and told Spike that they needed to break up but didn't do Spike any good.

"Why is my life so hard? First it was cleaning the castle, then it was Rarity breaking up with me. And now this sad excuse of a day for the beach. I wish the sun would come out, then someone might come down the beach." Spike hoped.

Spike frowned in disappointment and threw a rock into the water. But then suddenly the water started bubbling and Spike got a little scared. Then emerging from the water was a hippogriff mare with brilliant cyan eyes, freckles, and a collar of some sorts with a pearl in the center.
