(Rated T for mild gore and occasional language). Everypony knows what happened, starting with that fateful parade in Canterlot. War. That ugly, three-letter word has consumed Equestria. Even now, after the fires have died down and the fighting has ceased, the ponies of this land still struggle to piece together their normal lives, trying to forget. I can't forget, and part of me feels like we never should forget. To that end, I have pored over letters, newspaper articles, photos, and other pieces of the past in an effort to try to fit the puzzle together- to show the war through the eyes of those who really experienced it. We know what happened, we know who won. What we don't know is how the experiences of the Equestrians changed them forever, and how even the smallest actions changed the course of Equestrian history forever.
