Chapters Blue's Clues: Mother's Special Day
Thinking Time and the Present
Everyone came straight to the Thinking Chair and they all sat down and got their notebooks out to figure out the answer to Blue's Clues.
"Okay. Now that we're in our Thinking Chair....let's think." Steve said.
"We're trying to figure out what I can get my mother. And the clues are Rarity..." Twilight started.
"...A container of glitter..." Spike continued.
"And a closet. So what can Twilight get her mother that has to do with Rarity, this container of glitter and a closet?" Inferno finished.

Then everyone started thinking for a long while. After a few minutes Inferno had an idea.
"Well. Maybe it's something that you would find in a closet. Yeah. And maybe it's also something that Rarity makes a lot. Ooh and maybe it has glitter on it." Inferno said as the clues formed like a puzzle.
"Very good thinking Inferno. So what is it that you find in a closet, probably be something Rarity makes and can possibly have glitter on it?" Steve asked as the clues formed the answer.
"A dress!!" The reader answered.
"A dress! Yes that's it! Because a dress is what you find in a closet...." Steve started.
"And it's something that Rarity makes in her shop and it can have glitter on it!" Spike finished.
"And a dress is what I found at the present store! So not only did I just find my mother her present but we just figured out Blue's Clues!" Twilight smiled as they started singing again.

After they all finished singing they posed. And Twilight smiled hearing the answer.
"So the dress was the answer to Blue's Clues! Of course! That way my mom can wear it to dinner on Mother's Day! And as an added bonus the star necklace will make it more beautiful. Thank you Steve. And thanks boys. I couldn't have figured it out without you." Twilight replied.
"Oh you're welcome Twilight. And I hope your mom likes the dress." Steve replied back.
"I'm sure she will. Well we better head on home we got a busy day tomorrow. Thanks again Steve." Twilight said as she and the boys headed off home.
After they left Steve went to the living room and faced our readers once again.
"Thank you so much for all your help today. Without you Twilight wouldn't have been able to get that dress for her mom. Now she is so happy to celebrate tomorrow." Steve responded as he sang one last time.

After he finished singing and said 'That we wanna do' he had these final words to say.
"Bye-bye! I'll see you later! Happy Mother's Day! I'm off to see my mom! See ya! Bye." Steve said as he headed to the backyard and the door closed and we zoom out from Steve's house. And that ends another story of Blues Clues. Happy Mother's Day everyone!!

Blue's Clues: Mother's Special Day
One spring day in Canterlot City we see two boys making their way home while carrying some gifts they purchased. And the reason why is because today is Mother's Day. They are Spike and Inferno. Anyways they finished walking to the house and placed down the gifts.
"Ok Spike-O. We got all the gifts Mom wants for Mother's Day. We have a beauty kit, some nice pink flowers, A box of her favorite chocolates, and a paper with reservations to her favorite restaurant." Inferno said.
"Yeah man. And all we have to do is wrap this bad boy up for Mom. And tomorrow we give her the present as a Mother's Day she will never forget." Spike replied.
Inferno nodded and the two got to work wrapping the present up. First they grabbed some wrapping paper with hearts and wrapped up the small stuff first. Then they got a large bag and some shredded paper and made it like one big present and placed it next to the fireplace. Finally they wrote 'To Mom From Spike and Inferno' on a smaller piece of paper and placed it on the present.
"Well Spike. I say were all ready for Mother's Day." Inferno smiled.
"Yep we're both ready to show Mom how much we care for her tomorrow. Wanna go take a walk around the park?" Spike asked.
"Yeah. Let's go for a walk." Inferno agreed as they headed out the door.
As they we're walking in the park they saw lots of men and their kids crowding up the stores and the mall getting presents for their wife/moms for Mother's Day. Spike and Inferno saw all that and we're A little in shock seeing all the guys crowding up the stores and the mall.
"Guess they waited til the last minute to get something. Not what we did for our mother. In fact if your girlfriend Rarity had to come here for something and noticed the store is so crowded she go ballistic." Inferno said.
"True but Rarity did her shopping last week so I don't see any chance of her going nuts anytime soon." Spike told him.
"Yeah true." Inferno accepted as they kept on walking around the city. But then after an hour as they exited from their favorite cookie shop they saw a girl coming to them who is sixteen years old. She stood taller than Spike, but shorter than Inferno. This was Twilight Sparkle and she was in a worried state.
"Boys! Oh thank goodness I found you two!" Twilight said in relief.
"Whoa Twilight. You look like you're in a complete and total freaking mode. So calm down a minute and tell us what the problem is." Inferno replied.
Twilight calmed down and prepared to tell the boys what's going on. "Ok. Well I was preparing breakfast for my mom since Mother's Day is tomorrow. But the problem is I haven't gotten her anything!!"
"WHAT?!" The boys shouted in shock. "You seriously didn't get anything for your mother for Mother's Day?!" Inferno shouted in anger.
"I'm sorry! I was busy with helping my dad with the reservation at this fancy restaurant he wants to take her to that I completely forgot about getting mom a present." Twilight explained.
"Twilight. Mother's Day is tomorrow and even if you did try going shopping here all the stores are pretty much crowded at this point." Spike said.
"I know. Boys can you please help me? I really want my mother to know that I care about her. Especially on her special day tomorrow." Twilight begged.
"Ok Twilight. We will help you." Inferno said as he faced Spike. "So where can we go to help Twilight get a present for her mother?"
"I don't know man." Spike admitted. Then suddenly they both got an idea.
"Spike. Remember what our friend Steve said whenever we can't figure out a certain question? Well I say we head to his house and see if Blue and Steve can help Twilight figure out something to get her mom." Inferno suggested.
"Good idea Inferno! Come on Twilight we're gonna get this solved before the day is through!" Spike said as he and the others followed him to Steve's house where once again they will play Blue's Clues!

Blue's Clues: Mother's Special Day
Time For a Game of Blue's Clues!
The trio arrived at Steve's house and Inferno knocked on the door. After waiting for three minutes Steve opened the door and smiled seeing his two best friends and Twilight waiting for him.
"Spike! Inferno! Twilight! Oh I'm so happy to see you! Come on in!" Steve said as he allowed them inside. Then Blue came out and the boys patted her head. "You know I heard that Mother's Day is right around the corner and I have just finished making my present for her. Wanna see it?"
"Sure Steve let's see what present you made her." Spike replied as Steve took out a homemade book and opened it.
"This is my homemade memory book I made. It contains all sorts of memories of when I was younger. It contains all sorts of memories I made with mom. Oh look there's my old baby picture." Steve said pointing to a picture of him as a baby.
"Aww!" The trio said in unison.
"You sure we're cute. I have no doubt that your mother will love that present. She'll feel like she's taking a trip down Memory Lane." Inferno said.
"Yeah. But Steve our friend Twilight has a big problem." Inferno said.
"Oh really? Well what's the big problem?" Steve asked.
"Well I go bust helping my dad with the reservation at this fancy restaurant he wants to take my mom out for dinner on Mother's Day that I forgot to get her something." Twilight explained.
"Ooh. That is a problem. If you don't have something to give your mom than she'll think you forgot about her special day. We can't let that happen. We gotta think of something that you can get your mom." Steve said.
Then Blue barked saying that she has the answer.
"Blue? You know what Twilight get give her mom?" Inferno asked as Blue nodded yes. "Alright well what is it?"
Blue then went to the screen and placed a blue paw print on it. Inferno, Steve and Spike went to it realizing what Blue meant: Time for a game of Blue's Clues!
"Oh I knew I should have seen that coming! We'll play Blue's Clues to figure out what Twilight can get her mother! I love that game!" Inferno said.
"Don't we all?" Steve replied as he began to sing along with the others.

After they finished singing they went over the rules.
"So remember. Blue's paw print will be on the clues." Steve said.
"Blue's Clues." Spike replied.
"That's right. Okay now we need to clean up the paw print. But how?" Steve wondered.
Then to everyone's surprise the pawprint started to move on it's own and walked away from the screen until it was gone.
"Well. There's your answer on that one." Twilight said.
Then Steve turned to the readers. "You know what we need for Blue's Clues. We need our handy dandy..." Steve said.
"Notebook!" The readers said.
"Notebook! Of course!" Steve smiled as everyone got out their notebooks. Even Twilight since she will need to play as well to find out the answer.
"I hope this will help. I know I played it before to figure out Spike's birthday present but can it do the same for finding a Mother's Day present?" Twilight asked.
"Trust us Twilight. It will help." Spike said as he faced the readers. "You know we can tell we're really gonna need your help trying to figure out what Twilight can get her mother. Will you help us?
"You will? Oh great. Well let's play Blue's Clues." Steve said as the music started again.

They all singed and danced to the song. First it was Inferno and Spike who started the song. Next it was Steve who sang the second verse. Then he and Twilight finished the rest the song. When we got to the end Blue jumped in front of the screen and the gang came up and said "That we wanna do!"
"It's time to look for Blue's Clues so we can figure out what Twilight can get her mother. Will you help?" Spike asked.
"Oh good. Because we won't have the answer until we find all three clues. And if any of Steve's friends need help we definitely should help them." Inferno said.
"Yes. Well if we're all ready then let's play Blue's Clues!" Twilight replied.
"That's what we like hearing. Now let's go look for some clues!" Steve said as he and the others when to the left and began the search for clues.

Blue's Clues: Mother's Special Day
The gang were walking in the living room and they passed a few pictures hanging on the wall. But then they passed a picture of Rarity that has Blue's paw print on it. Meaning it was a clue!!
"A clue!" The reader said.
"I know. Twilight is definitely feeling blue. But no worries once we figure out what Twilight can get her mother then she'll be happy again." Steve replied.
"No a clue." The reader said.
"Oh! Oh you see a clue! Where is it?" Spike asked.
"Over there!" The reader said as everyone turned and saw the picture of Rarity and they gasped.

"Oh! There's a clue! And it's on this picture of.... Rarity." Spike said.
"Ok so you girlfriend Rarity is our first clue. You know what we need. Our handy dandy..." Steve started.
"Notebook!" The reader said.
"Notebook! Right!" Inferno said as he and all the others took there notebooks out. "Ok. Let's draw our friend Rarity."
Then everyone started drawing.

"Ok we'll start off by drawing a square and a smaller one inside. Then we'll draw Rarity's head, her neck, the eyes, and finally her hair. There. It's Rarity." Inferno said as everyone was drawing.
"So we're trying to figure out what Twilight can get her mother. And our first clue is this picture of Rarity." Spike said as the image came out of the notebook.

"What can Twilight get her mother that has to do with Rarity?" Steve wondered.
"Maybe something that Rarity makes? I honestly don't know." Twilight thought.
"Don't worry. There's two more clues left to find and then we'll know for sure." Inferno said.
"Oh no! What am I to do?" A voice called out.
"Did you all hear something? Let's go see what it was." Steve said as he and the others followed him to the source of the voice. Then they came to the picture with people in it.
"Oh guys! There you are! I've been waiting for you. I need some help. Can you please help me make this dress I want to give my mom?" The guy in the picture asked.
"Sure we can definitely help you Franny." Steve replied as Blue skidooed in the picture.
"Ok. First I wanted to make the dress pink." Franny said.
"Can you show Blue the color pink?" Spike asked.
Blue hopped to the green can but that's not it, then she jumped to a red can but that's not it either, then finally she went to a pink can and jumped in covering herself in pink and shook it off making the dress pink.
"Thanks! It's a lovely shade of pink! But there's no pattern on it. I want to place some circle jewels on it to make a nice pattern." Franny suggested.
"Can you find which group of these jewels are circles?" Inferno asked.
Blue went to the diamond squares but that's not what she needs, then she went to the ruby triangles but that wasn't what she needed either, then finally she came to the amethyst circles and Franny nodded yes as Blue took them and decorated the dress creating a pattern.
"Those amethyst circles are the perfect pattern! Thanks but I don't think it's pretty enough. I need something to make this dress sparkle." Franny said.
"Can you find what Franny needs to make this dress sparkle?" Steve asked.
Blue hopped over to some little jewels but that wasn't it, then she went over to the container of glitter and took it. Blue then sprinkled all that glitter straight on the dress and that made it really sparkle.
"Wow!! The dress is amazing! The shade of pink is perfect, the pattern of those amethyst circles are the perfect one, and the glitter is the perfect touch! My mom will love this! Thanks for helping! Bye!" Franny said as he took his leave.
"Bye!" The crowd said in unison.
"I'm 100% sure that his mom will love that sparkling dress. Especially if she goes out tonight. Then she'll definitely want to wear that at a nice restaurant." Inferno replied.
"And you are right bro. But speaking of that we still need to find two more clues." Spike said.
"Right you are guys! Come on let's go look for more clues!" Steve agreed as everyone headed off and continued to look for two more clues.

Blue's Clues: Mother's Special Day
The Second Clue and Mailtime
The gang were walking back to where the Thinking Chair is and surely they needed to know where yo look for more clues. But then Twilight have an idea.
"Hey Steve? While we're trying to find another clue why don't we see if there's pictures of the different things people can get for Mother's Day?" Twilight offered.
"That's a great idea! Maybe that way you can get ideas on what you can get your mom. Come on!" Steve said.
So they all we're looking around and they see many pictures of what people get their moms for Mother's Day. First they saw pictures of dresses on there, then some photos of jewelry, and finally some where they're child helped the father plan a reservation at a restaurant. Then they passed a container of glitter with a paw print meaning that it's a clue!
"A clue! A clue!" The reader said.
Then Twilight, Inferno, Steve and Spike came back. "Yeah. There's a whole lot of things people get their moms for Mother's Day." Twilight replied.
"No a clue." The reader said.
"Oh. You see a clue? Where is it?" Twilight asked.
"On the glitter!" The reader said.
They looked down on the glitter and they all got a surprised look.

"Oh there's the clue! And it's on this container of glitter. It looks like pink glitter." Steve said.
"Yep. So the container of glitter must be our second clue. You know what we need. Our handy dandy..." Spike said.
"Notebook!!" The reader said.
"Notebook! Right!" Spike said as he got his notebook out and flipped to a clean page. "Ok. Let's draw this glitter in our notebook."
Then they all began drawing again.

"First we'll draw a circle for the top, then a line underneath it, now we'll draw the tube shape, finally we take our glittery pink crayon and color the inside of it. There a container of glitter." Steve replied.
"Ok. So our first clue was a picture of Rarity. Now the second clue is this container of glitter. So what can Twilight get her mother that has to do with Rarity and some glitter?" Inferno asked as the images flew above.

"Hmm. Well I'm thinking it's something that my girlfriend Rarity makes all the time." Spike thought.
"Could be. But we need to find one more clue. Then we'll know for sure." Inferno agreed.
"Hey guys! Can you help us out?" A voice said.
"That sounded like Tickety. Let's go see what she needs." Spike replied.
So everyone went to the playroom where they see Tickety Tock trying to make a picture of a flower.
"Hello Tickety Tock!" Everyone said in unison.
"Hi there. Listen I was wondering if you can help me with this. I want to make a flower picture for my mom but the problem is I don't know what colors to use to make it beautiful." Tickety said.
"Not a problem Tickety we can certainly help you out." Steve said as everyone looked at the picture. "Hmm. Ok first let's start with the stem. What color can we use for the stem?"
"Green!" The reader answered.
"Oh green! Yeah! Good job!" Steve said as Tickety painted the stem green.
"It's looking good but it's not quite done. We still have the center to paint." Spike replied. "So what color can we use for the center of the flower?"
"Brown!" The reader replied.
"Oh look at you! You're so smart! Yes it's brown! Nice one!" Spike said as Tickety painted the center brown.
"Nice looking. But your forgetting the most important part. The petals. So let's see what color we should use next." Inferno said. "Hmm. So what color can we use for the petals?"
"Magenta!" The reader replied.
"Oh you know exactly how to make a flower beautiful! Yes magenta is a great color for the petals." Inferno smiled as Tickety painted the petals magenta. And like that the flower was completed.
"Thanks guys! I couldn't have done it without you!" Tickety smiled.
"Your very welcome. And you did well guys." Inferno said.
Then suddenly they heard someone saying "Mailtime." in song. When Spike heard that he knew what time it is.

"The mail's here!! Come on guys! Bye Tickety." Spike said as he and the others went back to the living room.
Once in they started dancing and singing along. Once the song ended Mailbox came in through the window. Then everyone went to the Thinking Chair and sat down.
"Hey Mailbox. Did you get anything for your mother for Mother's Day?" Inferno asked.
"I sure did! I sent her a letter with a card saying "Happy Mother's Day" on it. And I have your letter too." Mailbox said as he opened his lid and Steve took out a pink letter.
"Thanks Mailbox." Steve said as Mailbox left. "We just got a letter." And like that began a song.

When the song ended he opened the letter and to their surprise it was from Twilight's mom!
"Look! It's A letter from your mother Twilight!" Spike smiled.
In the letter
"Hi sweetie! I hope you're doing ok. I know things have been really busy at my job but good news! They decided to let us go home early since Mother's Day is tomorrow AND I have that day off! Isn't that wonderful dear? Anyways I know your father is taking me out for dinner tomorrow night but if you wanna join us then that would be wonderful. Well I will be home in a little while so take care sweetie! Bye!" Twilight Velvet said.
Out of the letter
"Bye mom. Happy Mother's Day." Twilight said as Steve closed the letter and placed it down.
"That's nice. Getting Mother's Day off so she can enjoy the day. That's always nice to have." Steve said.
"Yes it is. But we still got one clue left to find." Inferno said.
"Your right. Let's go find Blue maybe she knows." Spike suggested.
Everyone nodded in agreement and got up to look for Blue. With her they might be able to find the last clue and know what Twilight can get her mother.

Skidoo and The Third Clue
The gang walked back into the living room and saw Blue. Then she skidooed straight into the present store.
"Oh look at that! Blue skidooed! Right into that present store!" Spike said.
"Oh I just love the present store! Maybe we can help Twilight choose something for her mom!" Steve said.
"Well let's go!" Inferno replied.
Then everyone did the skidoo dance and sang "Blue skidooed we can too!" And like that they all jumped into the picture of the present store.

Once in the present store Steve loved being in here and they went to the dresses. They're were so many to choose.
"Oh. Look at these beautiful dresses. I think my mom would love to wear one of those." Twilight said.
"Well Twilight lemme get out my wallet and hand you over some money. Now I have 12 Blue dollars so spend wisely. Spike and Inferno will help you decide what dress you want to get your mom." Steve said as he handed her the 12 Blue dollars.
"Ok so I think...oh this dark pink dress is beautiful! My mom will love that! But how much is that dress?" Twilight asked.
"Four Blue dollars." The reader answered.
"Four Blue dollars. How did you know that?" Inferno asked as he saw the prices. "Oh the price tags were on there. I get it. So does Twilight have enough dollars to buy that dress?"
"Yes!" The reader answered.
"Great! Um hello? Is there anyone there? I like to purchase the dark pink dress please?" Twilight called out.
Then a cash register came to her. "Would you like to purchase that dark pink dress?"
"Um yes sir. It's for my mother." Twilight answered.
"Most definitely. It will look fabulous on her. That will be four Blue dollars please." The cash register said as he opened his drawer and Twilight gave him the four Blue dollars.
"Thank you. Her dress will be coming right up. It will be beautiful on Mother's Day." The cash register said as he took the dress and wrapped it up like a present and turned away.
"Hey. Do you boys think I have enough Blue dollars left to get something else?" Twilight asked.
"Well let's see. She had 12 Blue dollars and then she spend four on that dress so how many Blue dollars does she have left?" Inferno asked.
"Eight Blue dollars." The reader answered.
"Oh yeah. That's right. So do you see what Twilight can get with the money she has left?" Spike wondered.
"Ooh. How bout those high heel shoes? Do I have enough dollars for those huh?" Twilight asked.
"No." The reader answered.
"Nope. Those high heel shoes are nine Blue dollars and she only has eight. So no." Inferno said.
"Oh ok. Wait how bout that pretty star necklace? Do I have enough dollars for that necklace?" Twilight wondered.
"Yes!" The reader answered.
"She does? She does have enough Blue dollars? Well how much is that necklace?" Spike asked.
"Five Blue dollars!" The reader said.
"Five Blue dollars. And I have eight!" Twilight said as went to the counter and banged on it getting the cash register's attention.
"Would you like to purchase something else?" The cash register asked.
"Yes. I like to purchase that star necklace please." Twilight answered.
"Sure thing. It will go perfectly with the dress. That will be five Blue dollars please." The cash register said as he opened his drawer and Twilight gave him the five Blue dollars.
"Thank you. And the star necklace is on the way. Your mother will absolutely love that with her dress." The cash register said as he took the star necklace and wrapped it up like a present and gave the bag to Twilight.
"Thank you cash register. My mom will love what I got." Twilight said as she and the boys left to find Steve.
"Have a good day." The cash register replied.
They found Steve and they all of them headed for the way back home and did the dance and skidooed out of the present store. Then they all came back in the living room and Spike stood up. But Steve rolled on the floor but picked himself up. Then a piece of paper with a picture of a closet floated down with a paw print on it. Meaning that it is the last clue!!
"A clue! A clue!" The reader said.
"Yeah. I'm so glad that I found not one but two presents for my mother!" Twilight smiled.
"No! A clue!" The reader said.
"Oh you see the last clue? Where is it?" Inferno asked.
"Right there!" The reader said.
They all looked down and saw the picture of the closet and smiled.

"Look at that! There's a clue! And it's on the picture of a closet." Twilight said.
"Ok so our last clue to know what Twilight can get her mom is on this closet." Inferno replied.
"Yep. And you know what we need. Our handy dandy...." Steve said.
"Notebook!!" The readers answered.
"Notebook! Right!" Steve said as he flipped two pages to a clean one. "Ok so a closet."
Then everyone began to draw one more time.

"Ok so to make a closet we'll draw a rectangle for the door. And some smaller ones on it. And a circle for the knob and there. A closet." Steve replied.
"Hey. That closet was our third clue!" Twilight said.
"Your right! You know what that means? We're ready for our..." Steve asked.
"Thinking Chair!!" The reader answered.
"Thinking Chair! Right! Come on!!" Steve said as he and the others ran to the Thinking Chair to figure out the answer.
