Rebecca & The CHS Fall Formal Incident of 2013

Later that night, while taking a bus home from work, young singer & songwriter, Rebecca Shoichet noticed a young girl who wears a black jacket, wears a purple tank-top (or a purple T-Shirt) that contains a sun, half orange yellow & red, and black & purple boots, and hair with blonde color & red highlights, like fire, holding a hammer.

"What the heck?" Rebecca said. "She can't be holding a hammer."

Just then, she heard a loud door bang, and sees 2 boys running with a dog, and 6 girls chasing the boys with the dog, as they got through the statue of the horse.

Rebecca decided to record this on video, with her camera, and while recording, she heard the girl's voice and said, "That's close enough!" Which shocks the girls and Rebecca.

Rebecca got this on camera, getting this. "What the heck are they doing? Are they having a showdown on a statue?"

The dog, who is revealed to be Spike cried, to one of the girls, "Twilight!!" The girl, who is Twilight Sparkle, the new Princess of Friendship who is originally from Equestria had her crown stolen from the same girl, Sunset Shimmer, a former student of Equestria, who wants the crown, the Element Of Magic for something really evil. "Don't hurt him!" Twilight pleaded.

Sunset bragged and said; "Oh, I wouldn't dream of it. I'm not a monster, Twilight." Then she commanded the 2 boys, who are revealed to be Snips and Snails, she said to them, "Let him go." Confused, the boys just let go of Spike who ran to Twilight and hugged him in comfort. "You don't belong here. Give me the crown, and you can go back to Equestria tonight. Or keep it, and never go home!" Sunset deals, who is about to whack a statue.

Rebecca was shocked as she still was recording with her camera about what was about to happen. "What? "Equestria"?! I've never heard of this place! Is that why she was about to crash this part of the statue?" she said in shock.

The 6 girls and Spike gasped in shock.

"Tick-tock, Twilight, we haven't got all night. The portal will be closing on its own in less than an hour." So, what's your answer?" Sunset hurried impatiently.

"Portal?!" Said Rebecca, in shock. "No wonder why this statue is very special. "I'm gonna upload it on YouTube! But, I'm still a songwriter & performer, I upload my songs and perform on YouTube, gaining a lot of followers."

Just then, Twilight removed her crown and said... "No."

"What?! Equestria. Your friends. Lost to you forever. Don't you see what I'm about to do to the portal?" Sunset said angrily.

'Yes, but I've also seen what you've been able to do here without magic. Equestria will find a way to survive without my Element of Harmony. This place might not, if I allow it to fall into your hands. So go ahead, destroy the portal. You are not getting this crown!" Twilight dealt too.

"Fine. You win." Sunset said, in giving up, and dropped the hammer near Snips & Snails' feet.

"Whoa... Now that is wild." said Rebecca in amazement. "Maybe this "Twilight" girl is really special after all. This could be perfect for my new song that I can come up."

"You...are...so awesome!" said Rainbow Dash, relieved.

"I can't believe you were going to do that for us!" Applejack said in belief.

"It's no wonder you were a real live princess!" Fluttershy said in realization.

"So it's true... she is a princess from an another world ... no wonder she speaks royalty and protects her own kingdom." Rebecca said in belief in shock while overhearing while recording.

Sunset, who is now angry at the fact that she realized she gave up, growls angrily and said, "Oh, yes, she's so very special!" Then she tackles Twilight in anger which caused the crown to drop. As she tried to get the crown, then, Spike came and took the crown in chase.

Sunset commanded Snips and Snails, and said, "Grab him, you fools!"

Rebecca couldn't believe her eyes. This chat was turning into a fight! "What is going on?! I'm still getting this, and still recording this thing!" And after seeing what was about to happen, Rebecca was still holding the video camera, getting the picture, and seeing the chase, she decides to call 911, but before she could get the phone, Sunset's voice came up, and said, "I'll take that!" "What?!" Rebecca said in shock. "How did she...?! Did she grab that crown?!" "At last, more power than I have ever imagined!" Sunset said menacingly. Just then, she wore the crown and then, something unexpected happened. The crown started to glow, then it created black & blue rings around Sunset, which caused her to hold the crown in fear, with the "maybe I spoke too soon" look. Rebecca, who saw this, said in shock, "What's happening?!"

Then, the crown started to burst powerful blue-black energy. Then it starts to explode in a huge magical pillar that caused Sunset to lift her up slowly, just like Jesus Christ that was floating in the sky. The girls & Spike were so shocked to see it, but Twilight was serious to see what was happening. The people in the building that was revealed to be Canterlot High School had students opened the front doors there and were scared about what is happening here. Even Rebecca couldn't believe her eyes, it felt like there was an alien invasion happening here tonight.

Just as Sunset had reached the top of the school building, her eyes are starting tearing up, while her eyes are closed, but the tears have vaporized very quick. Then, she opened her eyes, showing white light, that was glowing from her eyes, just as the crown starts to blaze through her around her whole body. Then, she starts to transform, her hands and legs turn red, with her shoes turned into a flame like color, and changed into a new design, and her head incompletely transformed. Then she is consumed in a black-green forcefield.

Suddenly, everything exploded into light, just then in a flash.

After everything fades back to normal, everything becomes so stormy outside, Sunset is glowing real red, her whole body has changed into red, including her skin, her clothes has changed into a yellow, black & red dress, with a yellow & red tail and her hair is turned into the style of Infernape, from Pokémon, Cure Sunny from Smile Pretty Cure, but with a mix and slight resemblance of Cure Black from Futari Wa Pretty Cure, and she became what kind of evil person of them all. A demon, a raging she-demon in the form of a succubus.

"Oh, great... whatever that is, she doesn't look friendly..." Rebecca said after she saw the transformation.

Loving her new demonic look, she laughs evilly.

The girls & Spike watch in shock while Twilight watches her angrily. Rebecca also watched in shock while recording the whole thing, and said... "OMG... no wonder she's like Black Lady (Wicked Lady) from Sailor Moon, or mostly, Dark Bloom from Winx Club.

Still enjoying her demonic look, Sunset starts to use her new power to zap at Snips & Snails, turning them into demons as well! But with the colors blue & orange.

"OMG...! I can't... believe it..." Rebecca said in shock after she saw the demonic transformation from the blast.

"This is going to be so cool!" Said Demon Snips, while Demon Snails hisses at the other girls.

Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, Rainbow, & Rarity were scared of Demon Snips & Demon Snails as they back up as the 2 demonic boys came closer.

Twilight, growls in anger, couldn't believe it. Including Rebecca, who saw it and was still recording what was happening. Just then, they hear screams and and gasping at the front doors at the high school. Rebecca realized and noticed some students that were scared, and were trying to get away from Demon Sunset, and was scared of what was going to happen, by calling 911, but she kept recording anyway, and saw Demon Sunset take a scary look at the students in her demonic appearance, which terrified every student, including Rebecca herself.

Sunset lands and said in a slight reverberating demonic undertone: "I've had to jump through so many hoops tonight just to get my hands on this crown, and it really should have been mine all along." She growls in anger then smiles again and said, "But let's let bygones be bygones. I am your princess now, and you will be loyal... to me!"

Then, she did something beyond horrible. She used her magic to telepathically destroy the front doors of the whole school!

Rebecca, who saw the destruction, said in shock, "I.. can't... believe it! She owes a lot of money to fix this school!" Then, everyone in the school starts screaming in fear and panicking for their lives to stay away from the demon girl. But instead of attacking them, she something that is way terrible. She started to hypnotize each one of the students, turning them into zombies!

Rebecca, who saw them being zombified, was shocked at what she saw, and said; "What has she done?! This kind of reminds me of a Halloween movie, but actually, this is real... I should call 911." But before she could call the cops on the whole incident, she overheard Sunset commanding Snips & Snails & said, "Round them up and bring them to the portal." The 2 demon minions saluted her, and were about to do as she said.

"Rounding them up?! Why?!?! What's she gonna do with these poor innocent students?!" Rebecca said in shock. "Whatever it is, this can't be good."

Just as she went back outside, the demon girl was stopped by the Main 6 & Spike.

"Spoiler alert: I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal. I don't want to rule this pathetic little high school;" Demon Sunset said.

"'Don't want to rule this pathetic little high school'? What is she talking about? She's not principal of this school, you know." Rebecca said in shock and curiosity. "Well, what does she want all along?" she continued.

"I want Equestria!" Said Demon Sunset in want. "And with my own little teenage army behind me, I am going to get it!"

"What?! She wants "Equestria"?! How could she...?! Those are innocent inhabitants of this world, and these inhabitants haven't done anything wrong here!" Rebecca said in shock. "And most of all, she's not going to get it! I mean, she reminded me of me back when I was young, back in high school. But still, she's still not going to get it! She won't!"

This shocked Twilight when she saw Flash Sentry, who is also one of the hypnotized. But she got serious and said, "No, you're not!"

Rebecca, who is still recording the whole video said, "You go girl, show her what you're made of. Stop that demon!" It felt like she was Twilight's #1 fan.

Demon Sunset scoffs and said, "Oh, please! What exactly do you think you're going to do to stop me? I have magic, and you have nothing!" Then her hairstyle started blazing, like fire, just like Infernape's hair.

"She has us." Rainbow Dash said in encouragement of Twilight along with her friends, while Twilight waves her hand nervously to the 5 girls, and it also pleases Rebecca, resulting in a happy smile and a chuckle to the 6 girls, which made Demon Sunset growls in anger at the 6 girls, then laughs evilly.

"Gee, the gang really is all back together again." Demon Sunset realized while wiping a tear away while laughing. Then she starts to create a death fireball and her eyes start to glow green. "Now step aside! Twilight has tried to interfere with my plans one too many times already and she needs to be dealt with." She yelled while throwing the fireball at the 6 heroes.

Rebecca, who was still recording this with her camera, said in fear, "Don't tell me she's gonna..."

Seeing the fireball that is about to come at them, the Mane 6 braced themselves together, and there were all caught in line of the huge fireball, causing to explode in bright red light.

Rebecca, who saw this, was shocked and said, "No... no... this can't be happening...!" This almost traumatized Rebecca, and it almost made her cry after what she saw, causing tears to stream down on her face.

Just as the red light fades, the demon girl laughs evilly, realizing at the point that she killed all 6 of them.

But suddenly the 6 survived, and were protected by a magical magenta-purple force field, much to the shock of Demon Sunset & Rebecca.

Demon Sunset and Rebecca said in union; "What?!"

Rebecca who saw this glowing magic said, What is this magic? It's like they've been exposed to as some kind of unidentified radioactive energy, but instead they're exposed to as yet unidentified magical energy! What does this mean?!"

"The magic contained in my Element was able to unite with those that helped create it!" Twilight said, in victory of outsmarting the demon girl. Then, they started to transform, into magical girls, similar to that of Mew Mew Power (Tokyo Mew Mew). But with pony ears and long hair for tails."

"Honesty! Kindness! Laughter! Generosity! Loyalty! Magic!" Twilight revealed during the transformation. Rebecca was amazed, but realized these girls never gave up. She said, "This is something you'd never see in Toonami... but it's actually pretty good!

"Together with a crown, they create a power beyond anything you could imagine, and it is a power you don't have the ability to control! The crown may be upon your head, Sunset Shimmer, but you can not wield it, because you do not possess the most powerful magic of all: the magic of friendship!" Said Twilight, in outsmarts.

Then, the 6 girls held hands together in a heart shaped alignment, and just then, it created a double helix of the colors of the rainbow, and creates a powerful rainbow blast towards Demon Sunset, causing her to be wrapped in the tornado.

"No! What is happening?" Yelled Demon Sunset as she was being wrapped.

Rebecca, seeing this happen, was amazed, and said, "I don't know what's going on, or why this is happening, but these 6 girls never give up! And she was so close to her goal..."

"Here and in Equestria, it is the only magic that can truly unite us all!" Said Twilight, concluding.

Then, rainbow colored lasers started to blast separately all around the students returning them back to normal. For Snips & Snails, they were also wrapped in rainbow tornadoes, too.

And then, everything brightens to white then. Rebecca saw the white light, and she covered her eyes from the light, from the whole school.

Just then, everything returns to normal. All of the students and faculty watched the whole aftermath of the incident. For Rebecca, she stopped the recording from her camera, and decides to switch SD cards to record more of the incident, then turned on the camera, and started to record the aftermath. The Mane 6 were still lying on the ground, still ponied up, awakened, except for Twilight. But lucky for Spike, he licked her making sure she's still alive. Realizing that she was alive, Twilight hugged Spike. Rebecca, with her camera recorded the whole aftermath, and just as she was still recording the 6 girls, Spike & Rebecca saw a gigantic crater, that was caused by the power of the Mane 6 after stopping Sunset from her evil plans of conquest of Equestria.

"Holy shoot!" Said Rebecca as she saw the crater. "Now that is one huge crater! No one could've survived that." She said, shocked. Inside the crater, was Sunset who is returned to her true human self, survived, and getting up.

"You will never rule in Equestria. Any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart." Said Twilight explaining as every student, including Rebecca, who is still recording came near the crater.

Sunset revealed her face after getting up, which looked beaten and messed up, but was leaking so many tears in her eyes filled with guilt, sadness, and filled with regret. When Rebecca saw Sunset's crying face, she realized that when Twilight and her new friends scanned and rainbow blasted Sunset in her demon form while ponied up, they've might have only been able to scan and rainbow blast the data or magic that was evil & corrupted. Which means all of her goodness & good data/good essence still exists, and it's growing again, and it explains why she is still crying from her defeat and being restored back to her normal self. Rebecca finally now realized that Sunset has been completely stripped of all evilness in both her civilian and demon form, and is now pure holy incarnate.

"I--- I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know there was another way." Sunset said, crying.

"The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria. It's everywhere. You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours." Said Twilight, while Sunset was getting up, still crying.

"But... But all I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart. I don't know the first thing about friendship." Said Sunset, crying.

Rebecca, who was still recording the whole incident, knew what Sunset meant and felt bad for her, then said to herself; "Not only did she drove everyone apart in this high school, but she chose to let her tragedy darken her heart through megalomania, then retreated from the world to another. That was her own choice. But still, she had to... let it all out... kind of like... me... when I was young. And... it felt like... my heart is connected to her, and the and that "Twilight" girl. Besides, I knew from the beginning there was something about Sunset and Twilight, something that reminded me of me... back when I was young, and back in my days in high school." The look on Rebecca's face and the words that she said about Sunset, including herself says it all, when she saw Sunset still crying after turning back to normal, the girl who was transformed into a demon and was turned back to normal through a rainbow blast that stripped all of her evil essence both in civilian and demon form, and all that remains is the good essence, in her. Gone, in an instant.

Twilight grabs her hand, lifts her up from the crater and said; "I bet they can teach you."

Spike cheered and said; "Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!"

A student said, "Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird."

Spike, dissatisfied, said; "Seriously? The talking dog is the weird thing about all this?"

Rarity picks him up and said, "I, for one, think you're adorable." Then she rubs him through the ear. Spike felt that and said, "Oh, yeah."

Rebecca still recording the post incident said to herself; "How'd they get so smart...?" Twilight smiles at Rarity and Spike, until Principal Celestia appeared and said; "I believe this belongs to you." She explains and gives a lecture to Twilight, then said, A true princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her." Then she puts the crown on Twilight's head and continued, "We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight."

Twilight realized what she meant, and she said, "I do."

After Rebecca realized what Principal Celestia once said, she said to herself... "Where did she get those words? It feels like... I got taught 2 morals from these 2 people, and I could be thinking that she is thanking her... cause without her help, this school would've been lost. And if it wasn't for her, these girls would've been gone, and would've been powerless without them."

Then, everyone cheered for Twilight, including Rebecca who is still recording the aftermath.

Rebecca stopped recording and said, "She did it! And, she actually did it right this time." Rebecca realized it's over cause, she realized that Canterlot High School's spirits have been raised up, actually its been better than before, the school can thrive again, now that it's free from evil, well, at least for now. And after a dance from the Fall Formal, and took a picture from the event, Rebecca decides to record them hugging, and saying their goodbyes, while taking pictures of the whole incident and ruins, Twilight said to the girls, "You'll look out for her, won't you?" Rarity said, "Of course, we will. Although I do expect some sort of apology from last spring's debacle." Rebecca said, "Huh? Spring debacle? I think she meant the Spring Fling?" Twilight, realizing that Rarity knew what she meant, said, "I have a feeling she'll be handing out a lot of apologies." Rebecca knew what Twilight said and took pictures of the incident while recording, and while that was happening, Vice Principal gave Sunset a masonry trowel, and saw Snips & Snails carrying construction equipment, and the 3 students were punished to building repairment duty for enslaving the whole student body with dark magic for evil conquest of an alternate reality.

Then after the incident, Rebecca went back home and had an idea for some songs based on the incident before uploading on YouTube. The first one was called, "My Past Is Not Today", a song based on Sunset Shimmer's evil deeds in the Fall Formal incident that happened, and "The Magic Of Friendship Grows" a song based on The Magic Of Friendship, and how it grows everywhere and did the vocals and did her acoustic guitar riffs for the songs. Then, she recorded the song and recorded herself singing the songs, then uploaded the music video on YouTube, including the ones that she recorded from the Fall Formal Incident and the post incident. She also posted the pictures on Twitter & Facebook, and her blog and wrote her experience about the incident. The videos went viral, including the music video, were so viral giving many likes and a lot of comments including the posts and pictures.

"Looks like my future's ahead..." Said Rebecca, smiling.

Development:
This fanfiction story was based not just the first Equestria Girls film, but also based on Rebecca Shoichet, the voice actress who is known for voicing Princess Twilight Sparkle (when she sings) for 9 seasons of Friendship Is Magic for 9 years, Sunset Shimmer who is for 6 years (speaking), 5 years (singing), Sugar Belle, & Night Glider, for 4 years (speaking and singing), and Sci-Twi (when she sings) for 4 years. Then I realized I had an idea for a story about, "What if a MLP voice actor appears, and sees the whole incident, discovers secrets to this world "Equestria" and records it on camera, discovering a whole crazy incident, and posts it online..." Well, Rebecca is born from Canada who is a voice actress and singer, while her MLP G4 counterpart is born from Canterlot City, who is also a voice actress and singer, and also an social media influencer, and since the movie was released in 2013, (Rebecca was in her 30s back then.)

For references, I used some references from past shows, such as Pokemon, Pretty Cure (Futari Wa & Smile) and Sailor Moon, including Winx Club when Rebecca saw Sunset's demon form in shock, and overhearing Sunset saying she wants to conquer Equestria with her teenage army, while Rebecca realizing that there are innocent ponies and creatures in Equestria, and they haven't done anything to Sunset, similar to Wes confronting Ransik that there are innocent people and they haven't done anything to Ransik from Power Rangers Time Force. Including the final battle, with references from Tokyo Mew Mew (Mew Mew Power) & Fantastic 4 (2005) and Digimon, with Rebecca cheering the girls and discovering the rainbow blast, realizing these girls never gave up.

After the defeat, Sunset was crying in defeat, that's when Rebecca realized that when Twilight and her new friends scanned & purified Sunset Shimmer in her demon form, they've might have only been able to scan the data/magic that was evil. Which means all of her goodness (good data) still exists, and I'd say it's growing again. (a reference to Digimon's Season 4 where Lucemon's holy data was scanned, but the evil data is growing, but reversed)

I know that this fanfiction story is about Rebecca Shoichet discovering the whole Canterlot High Incident in 2013, but this story was made in 2023 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the FiM spinoff.
