My story for Tropical Post-Apocalyptic contest.

Amber Ferment came to Manhattan a few months ago. Coming from a family of hereditary brewers, she naturally decided to open her own bar. But knowing how to brew alcohol doesn't mean knowing how to sell it. And unfortunately, Amber learned that the hard way.

In the end, she went completely bankrupt and ended up in debt. So what's the bat pony gonna do with it? Of course she'll go to a faraway island so that the debt collectors won't get to her! Even better, this particular piece of land grows mangoes and other plants. It's all good!

But, what are those strange flashes coming from the big land?
