"A troubled young man commits suicide and wakes up as a pony in a world of friendship, magic, and technicolor equines. He encounters a lavender alicorn who has been tasked alongside her friends with solving his “friendship problem”. Unfortunately, he sees no hope for himself in the fragile affairs of deep interpersonal relationships and wants nothing more than to live a better life in his new world, one without the “magic of friendship”. However, his incompatibility with a world founded on friendship means that he must rely on others, and, in doing so, he will learn what it means to have true friendship."
