As afternoon arrived, Spike,Rarity, and Pinkie pie were almost at golden oak library, they didn't notice two familiar Pegasus had spoted them and followed them, as they were talking about their ancestors when they noticed two familiar shadows hovering above them. Rarity noticed and said, "You know darling, it's rude to fly over, and not say hi. Come down so we can talk."

The two Pegasus came down and landed in front of them were Fluttershy and Rainbow dash. Two of their best friends. Rainbow dash spoke up and said, "Hey guys, what are you up to? Going to a party?"

Pinkie pie giggled and said, "Not this dashie! No party today!"

Spike then said, "She's right. We're all on the way to the library to see the surprise Twilight made. She says it's an apology for last night."

Fluttershy sounded concerned and said "an apology? What happened? Did you two have a argument?"

Spike looked guilty, remembering the events of the night before. "Something like that."

Rarity saw the stress in his eyes and said "let's wait till we get to the library darling. Then we'll explain everything...and I mean everything."

Pinkie had an idea what she was talking about and was worried, Fluttershy and Rainbow dash were confused about what there talking about, and Spike knew exactly what they were talking about and said " Rarity, are you sure you want to tell them everything?"

Rarity then said "friends don't keep secrets from other friends. Especially best friends. I'll leave my fate to them when the time comes."

All three mares were concerned, wondering what's going on. Spike then said " I promise we'll explain everything at the library. Come on let's go, Twilight and Applejack are waiting. "

They all arrived at golden oak library where they found Twilight and Applejack waiting for them inside as Twilight said "There you are! I was getting worried you weren't gonna show!"

Spike was quick to apologize saying "Sorry Twilight. We when to get lunch before heading here, we ran into Pinkie pie on the way and-"

Twilight covered his mouth with her hoof and said " it's ok, Spike, I understand. Pinkie pie CAN be distracting for anypony." While she was covering his mouth with her hoof, Spike licked her accidentally and she felt it, but didn't make a scene about it. Instead she looked at him with seductive eyes and said "you liked how I tasted spike~" Spike nodded and said "you honestly tasted like a shiny sapphire. So elegant yet tangy~"

Twilight blushed, it was kinda weird that her little brother was describing her like that. Then she remembered that he was her drakefriend now and found it flattering that he describing her like his second favorite kind of gem. She then said "oh Spike, you little flirt you." She kissed him on the check and he had hearts floating around his head.

Applejack already knew the story about their behavior, while Rainbow dash and Fluttershy were shocked and confused about what just happened. Meanwhile, Rarity and Pinkie pie are jealous that they didn't get tasted and were upset, with Rarity saying "ahem? Spike dear? Did you forget that you have two more marefriends that want to be tasted?"

Twilight immediately jumped and said "Wait Two?! What's going on Rarity?!"

Rarity didn't think this was gonna the first reveal of the day, but it's for the better then isn't it. "Darling, like I said we were late Cas of pinkie and it seemed that she was down in the dumps with her dating life, but she seemed to reach her breaking ponit when we heard about his nasty break up in cantrlot."

Twilight immediately knew what she was talking about and Immediately had a angry look on her and said "oh I know what about that day. Spike came home crying his eyes out when Moondancer break up with him. She said that it was because he was a dragon...I've hated what she said so much that I didn't bother to make other friends till now."

Rainbow dash was the first to respond after hearing what happened and say "I can't believe that some ponys would spread gossip like that! Spike's the most chill dragon I've ever met!"

Fluttershy chimed in and said "he's also really helpful to us all. I don't understand how somepony can be so selfish.

Applejack decided to put her two bits On this and say "more like plain stupid if you ask me. Why if I we're dating you I wouldn't care if your a dragon or a pony. As long as you put In the work, I'm glad to court you!" She immediately blushed, realizing what she said. "Not that I thought about it or anything. Hehe."

Rarity took her attention back to Twilight while leaving a mental note to check back with Applejack on that bit of detail. "Now Twilight darling. I only offered her to join Cas I felt sorry for her, but we also respect your choice on the matter as well. What do say darling? Want Pinkie to join us?"

Twilight had to think for a minute. She was still new to the whole 'group couples' or herds as she's heard them called, and didn't know if it would work. Then again, this was her friends she was talking about, and together, they can over come anything! Even if her other friends want to join, she would invite them with open hoofs. She decided and said, "Sure, why not? Welcome to the herd Pinkie!"

Pinkie had happily "Yes! Thanks Twilight! I promise to be a great herd member!"

While Spike was happy about this, he wanted to get back on track and said "that was touching, but Twilight? What was the Surprise you wanted us to see?"

Twilight then remembered why they were all here and said "thanks for the reminder Spike. I have something to show you girls and Spike down in the basement. Follow me!"

They all followed Twilight and Applejack to the basement where the Surprise for Spike was at. The basement was filled with electronic and scientific equipment that didn't seem to fix in this kind of world. But as ponys got more advanced, they wanted to create a world when magic and science could co-exist together. And Twilight wanted to excel in both science like Spike and in magic like princess Celestia.

As they made their way to the bottom, Twilight said "Spike, remember you were working on something before we...you know."

Spike looked saddened, remembering the events of last night and shuddering from those moments. Fluttershy saw this, she couldn't take what was happening anymore. "Twilight! What happened to you and Spike last night!?"

Spike,Twilight,Rarity, and Applejack looked with saddened expressions, knowing what happened,Rainbow dash, at this point, looked concerned at the tension in the air, and Pinkie pie was also concerned as well and said " look. Whatever happened, we will understand. We've had fights before, right?"

Spike sighed, knowing that they won't budge until they've heard the story. He then said "well, it all started last night..."

15 minutes later

"And thats what happened, for the most part"

Spike had explained what had happened, while hiding some details like The dark magic cult,Rarity nightmare form returning, and the fact that Rarity ascending into a alicorn.

Fluttershy had tears in her eyes, imaging how they were hurting when they struck not only physically but also emotionally, she immediately hugged the both of them and said "im so sorry you two had to endure that!"

Pinkie pie also felt sad for them. But understood why it happened. "You two were so stressed and tired that you two took out your frustration on each other. But it's nothing a party won't fix! *gasp!* how about you guys come to supercube corner and we can have a 'Spike and Twilight make up' party!

Rainbow dash then said "that sounds like a plan! Plus Pinkie's right. You two didn't mean to go that far, so it's no one's fault. And the two of you are definitely monsters. Your definitely the most friendly creatures I've ever met!"

Twilight and Spike realized that their friends were right. They weren't monsters to each other. They hugged each other and said "I'm so sorry!" The Two of them cried as they held each other in embrace. They looked into each other's eyes...and kissed. Their love came to the surface and their hearts warmed happily as the both of them thought "this is my first kiss!"

While both Rarity and Pinkie pie were jealous that they weren't Spike's first kiss, the scene thay played out was too precious to care about that. Rarity pulled out a hanky and dried her eyes while Pinkie just used her hoof to dry them. There wasn't a dry pair of eyes seeing this. Even Rainbow dash let out a tear or two when she saw this.

As they broke the kiss, Twilight regained her composer and continued to say "well anyway, earlier in the morning I woke up and noticed your project that I...interrupted."

Spike shuttered and said "yeah. What about it?"

Twilight smiled, "Well, after looking though what you did I've decided to finish it for you! With a few more upgrades then before. *wink*

Spike's eyes widen and said "Wait. You've finished it?! Oh Twilight, thank you thank you THANK YOU!" Spike then when to kiss Twilight multiple times on her face with Twilight blushing red as she said "Spike i didn't do it on my own. Applejack helped too." He looked at Applejack and said " oh thank you too Applejack! You deserve some of Twilight'a reward too!" Applejack's eyes widen when he said that. but before she could down down his offer, Spike leaped up and started to kissing her on her face in happiness. Applejack didn't want to be rude and turn him down again after last time, so she let him do this to her...only to them to lock lips and held it for a few moments. They both felt embarrassed, but at the same time, it felt amazing. Applejack especially felt like this as she thought "this is my first kiss!" And she loved every moment of it!

As the two of them broke the kiss, the others had different reactions to the surprise kiss, most surprised, while some were jealous of Applejack. Applejack herself felt a feeling that she hadn't felt since Spike saved her from the timber wolfs when she stuck her hoof in a rock wedge. She thought at first it was nerves from him saving her, but now they were back, and stronger then before. She wanted to talk to big Mac about this and saving it for later.

Spike while confused why he did that, decided to say "T-thanks Twilight! I appreciate this...actually while I was coming here...I wanted to tell you the reason why I was upgrading your machine in the first place. "

Rarity nodded and said "actually darling. The reason he was upgrading it for you was because he was helping me. You see, before you two fought, Spike was at my place and...somethings happened the night before..."

At this point, Twilight feared the worse and said "Rarity? ARE YOU PREGNANT?!"

Rarity blushed hard and said "TWILIGHT! Why would you think that! I am a lady, and I'm saving myself for the love of my life! Isn't that right Spikey wikey~ *wink*"

Spike's heart pounded at the thought and said "Y-Yeah Rarity! I-I'm saving myself for marriage too!"

Twilight blushed in embarrassment and said "I'm sorry Rarity. I-I panicked! I never thought you were a tramp!"

Rarity composed herself and said "it's alright darling, Accidents happen." Rarity and Spike walked in front of their friends to reveal the truth "Well the truth is darlings..." Rarity looked at Spike, as he gave her courage to tell her friends her secret." Well you see...Something DID happen two nights ago...Do you all remember when I was attacked and taked over by the nightmare force a few months ago?"

The girls looked at each other, remembering their encounter with nightmare Rarity. They thought they would never see their friend again after she had trapped them in the nightmare. But with the help of Spike, they broke its control over Rarity and she was freed from the nightmare force.

Rarity continued on saying, "Well darling...ummm..." Spike could tell she was losing her nerve, that she was thinking of backing down, but he could let her stop now and said "Rarity, maybe it would be faster to show them rather then tell. I know your scared of what they'll say, but you gotta be brave. I'm sure our friends will understand."

Everypony began to be concerned. Wondering what's was happening and what was Rarity hiding. But even with all the unknowns, they still comforted her with Twilight saying, "Rarity. It's ok. We won't judge you if something happened to you. We're your friends. And we're not going anywhere!"

Rarity, now feeling confident again, looked at Spike, giving him a determined look, nodded.
She closed her eyes and focused her magic on her transformation as her horn glowed a deep purple. Deep purple magic enveloped her as she transformed. Her figure getting taller, her horn get longer, and her wings exposed for all to see. When she was finished, she reappeared as nightmare rarity, and her friends were shocked!

Twilight, being in front of the group said "What?! Nightmare Rarity!? But I thought she was defeated for good months ago!" She charged her horn, determined to blast the nightmare out of her friend, when Spike jumped in front of her and said,"Wait! Don't shoot!" Twilight paused and said "Spike! What are you doing?! That's-" Spike interrupted her and said "I know what it looks like, but the Nightmare force doesn't control Rarity anymore! If anything, she controls its power now! If it was, it would have put me in a mind control state and attacked you guys way earlier then now."

Twilight had to admit he had a point. Having studied mind controlling spells from princess Celestia, she would have noticed ant weird behavior coming from Spike this morning when she went to go check on him this morning. Still, she used her magic to detect any signs of mind controlling magic in Spike's mind. Sure enough, let Spike said, he wasn't affected by mind control. Twilight turned off her magic and moved forward saying "Rarity?" Rarity understandably looked nervous, thinking that Twilight was still mad saying "y-yes darling? "How did you get stuck with the Nightmare force inside you?"

Rarity then told the events of the night before and everything from her and Spike's conversation. Twilight was confused and said "So you broke free from its influence by your will and it stayed with you Cas it needed a host"

Rarity spoke somberly and said "that's about the size of it darling...well except for one thing."

Twilight looked nervous again and said "what? Was there side effect to the bonding?"

Rarity then said "more like a unexpected benefit. It's what happens AFTER I revert back to normal."

The others now even more confused especially Twilight said "what do you mean when you revert back to normal?"

Rarity then used her magic to revert back to normal- minus the glamor spell- to reveal her next secret. Her new pair of white wings. The sight shocked Twilight and the others as they saw what happened. Twilight then spoke "R-Rarity? Your...AN ALICORN?! BUT HOW?!"

Rarity then responded "I honestly have no idea darling. I reverted back to normal and I looked like this. Spike did say he had a theory on why I'm a alicorn now."

Spike then proceeded to explain his theory on how such a Phenomena was possible in the first place. "Well everypony, my theory is that the nightmare force must have absorbed some of princess Luna's alicorn power and its been growing in it ever since. And when Rarity broke though the corrupt influence of the nightmare force, the power needed a new host, so when Rarity will won over it, it saw Rarity worthy of the alicorn power. Kinda like how princess Celestia saw you worthy after you completed star swirls final spell to pass your test. The explains why she turned into an alicorn without another alicorn there present for the ritual."

Everypony was confused by Spike's theory that they didn't know what to think...except for Twilight that figured out what he meant. "So it's like she ascended into a alicorn with getting crowned a princess? A alicorn with a crown so to speak?"

Spike gave a wink and said "Exactly Twilight! I knew you'd figure it out!"

Rainbow dash was suddenly excited and said "Do you guys know what this means?! A new flying buddy!!!"

Spike continued on despite the interruption and said "And that's also why I needed to upgrade the machine to handle alicorn training."

Twilight suddenly had a look of realization. Now knowing who were the upgrades were for. "They were originally to test and monitor Rarity and her new alicorn powers. Ain't they?"

Spike looked guilty and just nodded. Twilight continued and said "And she didn't want you to tell anypony Cas of what happened when she was possessed last time?" Spike nodded but was disappointed. He tried to keep the secret but blew it in the last second.

Twilight could see the shame on his face and wanted to kiss him and make him feel better, but Rarity beat her to it and said "Spike, honey? I know I told you to keep it a secret. And it's my fault I didn't believe in our friends enough that they blame me immediately. I put so much stress on you, and I'm so sorry for that, my brave and loyal young dragon." Rarity kissed her on the lips and for a few moments their world stood still, nothing moved or mattered to the duo. They were in their own moment when the kiss broke and Rarity said " Can you ever forgive me, my love?" Spike immediately said "your forgiven my lovely."

Pinkie pie, fuming at this point with jealous, wanted to keep this moving and said "hey, sorry to interrupt, but isn't there one more secret you were gonna tell?"

Rarity realized what she meant and said "thank you for reminding me Pinkie dear. Now then, like Pinkie pie said, there is one more thing I need to address...and that's-"

"WAIT!" Spike yelled, realizing where she is going with this. "Are you sure this is ok you two? What if your taken away forever?!"

Rarity looked worried for Spike. She didn't realize the risk of telling them her dark past. Pinkie didn't think about the risk as well, but this time, she was the one who when and comforted Spike by saying "look Spike, I get how you feel. I understand that fear you have that we could be taken away. I'm afraid too. But I have a reason to face that fear now! It's because of a certain young purple dragon that gives me the strength to plow though any obstacles that come for our Hoard and you!" Pinkie pie then kissed Spike on the lips for a few moments and they felt in bless.

Rarity, realized that what Pinkie said applies to her as well. After the two of them broke their kiss she said "Spike...I promise nothing will ever come between us. I pinkie promise."

Spike smiled and nodded, giving Rarity the ok to continue. She nodded back, prompting Pinkie pie and Spike to join her side.

Rarity breathed in and out, calming herself as she began to tell her secret. "Twilight, do you remember Spike's wound he has when you blasted him point black range with lethal magic?"

Twilight looked down in shame. Remembering the moment she had injured her brother/lover with a nasty wound on his side. And leaking quite the bit of blood from what she remembered. She then looked where the wound was and saw that it was totally healed. With everything else that was going on, she didn't notice and said "Spike, how are you healed so fast?! I-I nearly killed you! I-I ..." Spike hugged Twilight to calm her down and said "it's ok Twilight. Rarity fixed me up last night when I ran from hurting you last night. It's ok."

Twilight, still feeling guilty, said "it's NOT ok Spike! I could have killed you if I put more power in that spell! I-I I'm so sorry Spike!"

Spike felt similar feelings to what Twilight had expressed and said "what about me Twilight? I burned your underbelly! If I had put more power in that fireball, it would have burned you even more, or the flames could have burned you so much that you couldn't have foals anymore, it could have been more fatal if you were still a unicorn! I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU TWILIGHT!!!"

The both of them said with pain "IM A MONSTER!!!"

Rarity quickly said " I know it's hard to think about but we'll all help you though this, together.

The two of them calmed down as Twilight began to ask "Rarity, how did you heal Spike in such a fast amount of time? Even the most powerful healing spells can take a few days with a injury that Spike had."

Rarity braced herself and said "well darling, it's involves my past...and the past of those around you."

Twilight and the others,besides Pinkie pie, were confused about what she said as she brought out her tome of unicorns, to show them her family's past and lineage. "This is the tome of unicorns. One of the lost tome from the dark magic cult." Rarity held her breath, Wondering what Twilight reaction would be.

Twilight had clocked her mind into overdrive, trying to think of references to this mysterious dark magic cult that Rarity mentioned, But nothing came to mind. She would have imagined that if this was known as a danger, Princess Celestia would have told her about it, but there was nothing on this. Not even in the castle's restrictions levels held anything on this dark magic cult. So she asked Rarity "what's this dark magic cult Rarity? Are they evil?"

Rarity quickly answered "No Twilight, they definitely weren't evil in the slightest. In fact during the days after discord was sealed away, they helped heal ponys hurt by discord chaos and helped rebuild equestria from the ground up. They also wanted to make dark magic a asset to pony so it can benefit all pony kind and make it safe to use without it corrupting the user. Like king sombra was."

Twilight couldn't resist anymore once she said that and asked " C-Can I read the tome...pretty please?"

Rarity looked at Pinkie pie and Spike who gave a confirmed nod and said "ok Twilight. We trust you. Just be careful with it ok?"

Twilight gleefully bounced with excitement at the thought of reading a book that's been lost for over a thousand years. Knowledge is power after all! She began to open to tome and read what was inside it, and it blew her mind away. "Wow! Wow wow wow wow!! I've never even heard of some of these spells! A water into metal spell, a duplication spell, even a animation spell for enactment objects! You know what I can do with this spell?! I can help Spike with the chords by making a bunch of brooms come to life!"

Rarity chuckled and said "I've actually done that spell in my younger years actually. Long before meeting Spike, I would be so busy with my orders that the boutique would so messy!"

Twilight giggled and said "you mean more then usual?" Rarity scoffed and said "it's not a mess, It's organized chaos! It's completely different!" Rarity continued on to say."Anyway, my chores would pill up so much that it was overwhelming. So I found the tome and tried out the animation spell on a bunch of brooms we had laying around."

Rarity remembered she was working on a special red robe for a clients costume with matching blue wizards hat with stars on it to compliment it and tried it on herself to see if it would satisfy there client. She casted the spell with the tome and made the broom come to life to help with her chores. She humed a tune she heard on the radio (don't ask how equestria would have technology like that here) and made more to make the work go by faster. However, she fell asleep on her work desk while casting it and caused the spell to continue on its own. When she woke up, her boutique was clean but now it was flooded Cas the brooms never stopped gathering water from the local watering hole. She tried to cast the reverse spell on them but couldn't get them to stay in one place. She only had one option left...she grabbed a ax she had for fire wood and began to chop the brooms down while chasing them though out the boutique and even though ponyville. She eventually got all the brooms chopped up and got her boutique all dry, but her client decided to cancel the order after coming down with a cold and said she could keep it for her troubles. She still had the costume and puts it on occasionally to this day.

Rarity, spike and the rest of the girls laughed at Rarity story as Rainbow dash said "that was hilarious! That also explains why the weather team needed to get a few rain clouds at the watering hole fast."

Rarity blushed at the memory and said "yes Dash darling that was my doing. I hadn't open the tome since, but when I saw poor Spikey wikey all hurt in more ways then one, I had to take action. So I brought out the dragon tome, concentrated on the healing spell, and our darling Spike was good as new!"

Twilight was peaked with interest when she heard the dragon tome. "Wait...there's a dragon tome?! Where is it?! It might teach more about dragons!"

Spike pulled the tome out from his ...pockets? And was about to speak when Rarity Said "Spike has to be extra careful with the tome. After all, HE'S the guardian of the tome of dragons after all." Twilight looked at Rarity with a shocked expression on her face, and quietly said "w-what? B-but how?"

Rarity said in a love sick look at Spike "because he's earned my trust and loyalty to him. He when above and beyond to help me with my new form and alicorn powers. So I entrusted him with two very important things. The tome...and my heart. Mmmmmpuh!" Rarity gave Spike a long kiss and Spike acted all dazed by it.

Twilight ,while a bit jealous, couldn't help but giggle at Spike's reaction to the sudden kiss,was tempted to do something similar then, but decided against to ask Rarity more about this dark magic cult. "Rarity. I would really like to know more about this dark magic cult that you mentioned before. I've never heard of it before today. And I have access of Princess Celestia's entire private library. Even the restricted section! And there was no mention of this dark magic cult anywhere."

Rarity looked at Twilight, and said "its no surprise you dont know about the cults existence Twilight. Because as far as Princess Celestia is concerned, it's wiped out from the face of equestria."

Twilight, growing concerned, asked "what do you mean by that? It sounds like your saying the princess was responsible for erasing the cult from existence. "

Rarity said nothing, knowing Twilight had hit the mark on why the cult was gone. Twilight's eyes shrank into disbelief, she didn't think that Princess Celestia could do something like this without reason. She wanted to ask her, but didn't want to put her lovers in danger. She decided to not ask yet, and say "she did wipe it out. Didn't she?"

Rarity nodded, not surprised that Twilight would figure it out. "Yes, she enacted the order to Wipeout our families legacy. And they almost succeeded. But my family and their friends, snuck into the cult library, and took six times, and escaped the cult before Celestia's knights could burn the tomes and wiped out their memories."

"Six tomes? Don't you mean seven my dear fashion cultess?" The voice boomed though the library, but didn't attract the attention of ant ponys outside. A smoke cloud appeared in the middle of the room. When it cleared out, it revealed the draconians of equestria, the God of chaos himself, discord! "Why hello everypony! Sorry to drop in unannounced!"

Fluttershy, being the one who's closest to discord, was quick to ask "what are you doing here discord? Our tea time isn't till tomorrow."

Discord chuckled and said "don't worry fluttershy, I didn't get confused...this time. No, I'm here to return this tome to its rightful owner. Here you go rarity dear."

Discord reached into his hammer space, "really? That's what's your calling it?" Hey, it works for most people! "But I'm not most people, I'm the God of chaos! I don't-" look, can we discuss this another time? This chapter is nearing five thousand words as it is. "Fine, it'll be to be continued. " Good. Ahem, discord reach into his hammer space and pulled out a tome that's had the same design as the other tomes and Rarity recognized it. "It...it can't be...the tome of chaos?! But...but how?! I thought-" tia's soldiers wiped it out along with everything else? Nope! I wouldn't allow something my friends made be turned into firewood."

Everypony then shouted "WHHHAAAAAT!?"

..."You wrote that in on purpose, didn't you?"
Maybe. :) "...respect where it's due."

Rarity snapped out of her confused state and said "you mean you and my ancestors were friends?!"

Discord looked serious and said, "Correct. You see, I wasn't always created chaos just for the fun of it, when the first pony's arrived in what was my old kingdom, they tried to beat me with dark magic...it didn't work out. As they didn't much control over it. Admittedly, I felt bad for them and took pity on them. So I decided to help them with their research. As time when on, the group and I quickly became friends! They learned how let their imaginations run wild to make their spells work properly, and I learned that friendship is magic, as you all and they put it. I even fell in love with one of them. Her name was Lillyfly, she was so intrigued by my chaos magic, that she spent all her free time with me. We played pranks, had tea, I helped her complete her tome of chaos, and she helped me remember the meaning of life. She also had a mysterious power of foresight, the power to see the future, and saw the cult being destroyed and all their hard work lost forever. Your ancestors quickly believed her and made preparations to leave, while Lillyfly and I made a plan to keep the them safe. I planned out a map for them to go somewhere and stay safe, while Lillyfly told me this.

As Lillyfly packed her travel bag to go, she turned to discord, gave him the tome of chaos, and said, "Please keep our tome safe. And I'll keep our treasure safe. I'll miss you, my dashing draconus." Discord, wiping away a tear, said "and I'll miss you, my little Lilly. I promise I'll take care of our treasures. I Lilly promise." They shared a kiss before discord left to distract Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and keep the tome safe, Lillyfly and her friends left the cult before Celestia's troops arrived the next day to destroy their old life.

Rarity then asked "so you sacrifice yourself so our ancestors can escape?" Discord nodded, "so the means...you knew about friendship... but you still attacked us? Why?"

Discord looked down and said, "I guess I was still upset with Celestia about separating me from my friends...and the love of my life."

Everypony looked at discord with sympathy, they couldn't imagine going though such torment for a thousand years. Surprisingly, Spike was the one to speak first and said, "I... actually get why you did that then. If I lost the mares I love...I would be lost in grief and anger. I'm sorry for you lost discord." The mare 6 also gave their condolences to discord before Rarity said "Discord. As a guardian of the tomes. I thank you for you sacrifice to protect our ancestors legacy. Isn't that right fluttershy? Guardian of the tome of changelings?"

Everybody except for Discord was surprised when Rarity said that...but were more surprised when Fluffershy had a smirk and said "heh. I'm impressed Rarity. How did you know?"

Rarity had a prideful look on her face and said "I have my ways, darling. When I found out the other two identitys of the descendants of the cult, your identity was a no brainer. Your shy act most of the time is really convincing."

Fluttershy got nervous and said "ummm most of the time...it's not a act. I'm always scared of new ponys. But my fear of dragons, THAT'S the act there."

Rainbow dash then had a realization. "Wait a minute...all this time...and you didn't bother to help with Spike during the trip to the dragon land?!"

Fluttershy then looked guilty and said "I was only protecting my identity Cas If i saw a dragon, I would be fan maring if I when to dragon lands, I love dragons! ...but that's no excuse for not helping Spike. Can you ever forgive me Spike?"

Spike had immediately hugged her and said "I already did fluttershy" Fluttershy blushed, as a familiar pounding in her heart started up in her heart."

Discord then said "that's my great,great, great,great, great, great, great, great ,great grand daughter!"

Everypony then said "WHAAAAAT?!"

Fluttershy was admittedly the most shocked by the news. Her whole life,she never thought she was part draconian, or that her 10x great grand father was discord. She suddenly then said "IM SO HAPPY! YOUR WE'RE RELATED DISCORD!!!" She then Hugged discord and said,"im glad to meet you, grandfather!"

Discord then did something no pony though he do, shed a tear as he said, "and I'm glad to meet you, my granddaughter."

Everypony in the room did not have a dry eye as the scene played out, a lost connection to family was brought together once more.

Spike then asked "so who are the other two descendants of the cult?"

Rarity then chuckled and said "oh, can't you tell darling? There right here!" She then pointed at Rainbow dash and Applejack who were confused and said "whoa there Rarity! I don't know if you know this, but Pegasus and especially earth ponys can't do normal magic."

Rarity raised a eyebrow and said, "Applejack darling, of course you can. It's in your blood. Your ancestors were the masters of not only harvesting fruits and vegetables. But magic and potions too! In fact, from what I heard, star swirl the bearded would ask for assistance from your ancestors for some especially hard potions."

Applejack was taken back by all of this, she never imagined her family associated and help somepony as important as star swirl. At least that what Twilight would have said If she wasn't so shocked by the news.

Rainbow then asked "How I'm I related to the cult? Applejacks right, Besides the weather, we can't do regular magic."

Rarity then said with a sly smile " you might want to check again darling. Remember the legend of the sonic rainboom?" Rainbow dash then tried to remember the tale of the sonic rainboom. "Well...it was last preformed by a Rainbow Pegasus over one thousand years ago and hasn't been repeated since...till I mastered it!" Rainbow said proudly. "Whoever made it in the first place, Cleary didn't have enough skill to master it completely!"

Rarity then said "be careful what you say Rainbow dear. You don't know who invented it...but I do~"

This got Rainbow's attention and said "Wait WHAT?! BUT HOW?! NO PONYS BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT!"

Rarity then had a sly smile and said "think about all that I told you today Rainbow. I'm sure you can figure it out."

Rainbow dash thought about it for a minute and then it hit her. "WHAAAAAAT?! MY ANSCESTORS INVENTED THE SONIC RAINBOOM?!"
