This is basically a translation from the Spanish of a fic that I made in my free time. 0,o So, it's very possible that you'll see some spelling errors. I'm not that skilled in English, xD but hey, the IA and Google help a lot, jajaja.

The mere thought about how the hell Aria would use bear traps in explosives, made Nico's balls pick up, and the hairs on his body stand up... even more when he carry not just one little box of bear traps... but a huge box of bear traps, removable cages, a lot of copper cables... aaaand seriously, a huge amount of chemicals that scared him.

Anyway, Aria literally had him dragging it all day and of course, although the mercenary helped a lot, it was still Nico's turn to take most of what they bought at Aria's house and take it to the workshop where Aria would later create her things.

Once he helped Aria, at least he couldn't complain when Aria literally paid him a fucking ton of money in addition to giving him a really good mango pie that a certain black Thestral would kill to eat.

After his looong day, that left us with Nico who had arrived at his parents and siblings' house after an exhausting day. Nico sighed and let out a small moan as he stretched his back like a cat and snapped it. When he stood up again he only left some saddlebags loaded with some gifts and rewards for the help he gave, and then he began to walk inside the house.

Strangely, it was really quiet, so he walked around it for a while, first to the living room, but there was no one there and the TV was off, that ruled out Cristal, his sister, being at home, then he went to the kitchen, but his father Eztli wasn't there so that ruled it out to him for the time, since he usually found him making dinner, then he went to the backyard to see for his sister Eclipsa, but no, even though there was some kind of fossil ooor half-cleaned magical artifact, there was no one to be found.

He ended up just shrugging his shoulders without giving it importance and turned to look at the house...

"NIIICOOOOOOO!"

Chains dropped from the ceiling upside down, and gave him that tremeeendous scream coming out of the purest nothing... how Nico was grateful that he was white, or made fun of him for ending up pale from fright... buuut, he do not at all avoid jumping behind with his eyes wide open with fright.

Chains was a Thestral pegasus, she was a light gray mare, her overall shape was like that of a Pegasus pony, her wings were feathered like any Pegasus, but her hybridization features were in fact her ears which were very furry like the Thestral, and on the inside they were ribbed like the Thestral, their eyes which were a vivid green that glowed a little in the darkness at night, in addition to being slanted like any other bat pony, two very long ones fangs protruded from their mouth, aaand .. something that not many could explain, she had scales on her forehead just like the Kirims... her hair was short despite being a girl, but in the same way, the girl had, as always, a very beautiful smile on her face.

Chains fell from the ceiling to the floor laughing at the face that Nico had made, and when he saw how she laughed, he blushed a little but he still laughed with her helping her get up... he took his typical whiteboard and wrote a message to Chains .

Well, Nico thought about it a little and just shrugged, seeing Chains enter the house, then he also entered and closed the door to the backyard. Chains motioned with her tail for him to follow her, so Nico did.

"Although daddy Eztli left, he made dinner, I already ate, but he leave your share on the table, he made it recently so you better eat now... by the way, how was your day? Did you manage to find what you were looking for?"

When he finished his dinner, since no one else was at home, by default it was his turn to be with Chains and in part... watch over her while keeping her safe, it was basically a rule imposed by her father Ghost himself and by her mother Uru, She never must have been left alone, not because they were afraid that she would do something stupid that would make her take risks, but because someone must always be with her to help her if she had any of her episodes of sudden anxiety that attacked her.

The last one had been two weeks ago, Chains had been terrible that time, he remembered that even Uru had left a meeting in the middle when she hear that Chains was having a bad episode, and she immediately went to her daughter.
