Twilight stared at her best friend as the two of them discussed what to get their father's next weekend. "So I was thinking I could get the rest of the girls on the squad together and we could do a routine for my dad before we have an awesome breakfast. Strawberries, pancakes and syrup, hash browns, hay bacon, and a ton of orange juice and coffee."

"Isn't your dad on a diet? I'm pretty sure that the pancakes at least would break it." Twilight replied with a faint smile. "Besides, how are you going to convince your teammates to do a show for your dad and nobody else's?" Her smile turned into a smirk. "Or are you going to do a show for each member of the squad?"

Rainbow looked Twilight over, then sheepishly shook her head. "And that's why I run all of my plans by you first, Egghead!" She said this last with a great deal of affection. "What are you planning on doing? Making a card and mowing the lawn for him?" Seeing her eyes tighten, Rainbow grinned. "So a boring yet practical idea. C'mon Twi, let's go downtown and see if anything better catches our eyes." She grabbed the busty bookworm by the shoulder and pulled her along.

"No. Absolutely not. Rainbow, you cannot be serious." Twilight and Rainbow stood outside the local adult store, the oddly busty athletic pegasus trying to cajole her best friend inside. "Why in Celestia and Luna's names would I go inside a store like this, especially when I'm trying to do father's day shopping?!"

"I dunno, maybe we'll find a gag gift inside like you'd find at Tree-Hugger's shop." Rainbow grabbed her pegicorn best friend's shoulder. "You have no idea just what we'll find inside. Besides, maybe they'll have a mare's aid for cheap, I know you've talked a few times about getting one."

Twilight rolled her eyes then pushed the door to the shop open. "Fine, if it'll get you off my tail I'll go inside. I'm quite positive that we won't find anything."

Rainbow shrugged "so long as we rule it out I'm fine with it." The two of them finally walked inside, revealing a clean and brightly lit shop full of seemingly everything sexually related that anyone could want. Movies filled a couple aisles, while written smut filled yet another. Marital aids filled another two, while BDSM supplies filled yet more. Finally, various costumes in various sizes filled out the rest of the shop's shelving sections. Free floor space was dedicated to standees and standalone displays. One in particular was dedicated to a stallion focused toy that claimed that the interior was molded to be just like Princess Luna's pussy.

Twilight's mouth dropped open as she looked around, brain short-circuiting at all of the new stuff. She looked at her best friend and let out a squeak. "We're supposed to find a gift for our dads in here? Rainbow, have you lost what little mind you still had?!"

A pretty white unicorn with indigo hair came over, her outfit declaring her to be an employee of the store. "Hello and welcome to Maud's Toy Emporium. My name is Rarity, and I'll be happy to find anything you might be looking for. Toys appropriate for girlfriends who are just learning what they like are over in aisle four, midway back if memory serves. If you're just looking for yourselves, the front part of the aisle should work perfectly."

Twilight worked her jaw, then started to reply. "Oh, we're not girlfriends, we're just friends looking for-" Rainbow quickly piped in. "We're just looking around, Rarity, thank you." Rainbow pulled Twilight along, heading towards the written smut area. "This should be your speed, Egghead. Maybe you'll find something that'll give you ideas."

Rarity called after the two disappearing mares. "If you need help finding something, I'll be at the front desk." The salesmare went back up front and went back to her sketching, occasionally glancing at either the monitor or the door to make sure that nothing was being stolen.

Twilight glared at her friend. "Rainbow, seriously, I don't think we'll find anything like a joke in here. Let's just leave!"

Rainbow shook her head. "I'm sure there will be something we could find in here, Twi. You look through the smut and I'll go look through the other aisles. Maybe I'll find a copy of 'Backdoor Sluts IX'. Dad always made jokes about it, so finding it would make for a hilarious present." She walked away, leaving the lavender pegicorn standing awkwardly amidst cheaply printed pornography.

Twilight eventually sighed, dropped her shoulders, and started to browse. Everything so far seemed to be sorted in alphabetical order, weird titles that made their contents all the more obvious. That is, until she got to the letter I. A title quickly caught her eye: 'Two Taboo'.

Lifting the book into the air, she scanned the back that had no identifying genre description, merely superlatives about how hot and raunchy the first book was. Opening to the middle, she started to read. The story was a lurid description about an assignation of a brother and a sister. She unexpectedly began to feel herself to get wet, but felt disappointed that this particular story was seemingly close to its end.

She was happy to note that this book was an anthology, and so started to read the next story in the list. This one appeared to be a story of a father and a daughter, the daughter having decided to seduce her father. As she read, she noticed that the ink had somewhat bled together, forming a strange sentence. A sentence she attempted to read aloud. With a small flash her horn went off, casting an unknown spell on herself. Rainbow, who had been just about to grab her friend's shoulder in an attempt to scare her as part of a prank, was similarly affected.

After the light from the spell faded, the two mares turned to look at each other, a creepily blank smile on both of their faces. "I know what we should give our fathers" both mares said in unison. "Ourselves."

Rarity rang up the mares' purchases, confused by their selections. "So that's 'Sexual Enchantments for Beginners', a copy of 'Two Taboo', two collars, thirty meters of bondage rope, two pairs of shackles and two bottles of strawberry flavored lube. Is that everything?" Seeing their nods, she helpfully added "for purchases this large we give out a bonus DVD from the bin."

Rainbow's eyes seemed to regain focus for a moment. "Does it have a copy of 'Backdoor Sluts IX' in there?" Seeing the salesmare's shrug, she went to take a look, grabbing 'Naughty Nurses Two' instead when the desired film didn't appear. The two of them pooled what money that they had on them, then left the store.
