Lying in wait in thick cloud covers is a fleet of 40 airships, comprise of 30 small escort ships with nine medium ones, the last one being one of the biggest airships the Storm King has in his army, next to the steering wheel is Tempest Shadow, She was looking through a pair of binoculars to look for the Target which was Twilight and her friends.

The hours passed, still no sign of the airship when the silence was suddenly broken when a loud boom sound caught the attention of the fleet, looking in all directions she tried to find out where that sound came from, little did she know that in a couple minutes things would collapse all around her.

1,000 meters away. two flashes appeared in the sky followed by a quick stop of two aircraft, these aircraft had a similar design to the F-22 Raptor, but unlike their sister aircraft these ones were heavily modified to serve the best in the EUC (Empire of United Clans).

Designs for the aircrafts are made so that it can fight both in air and space combat, the armaments of this craft were two 1 point 5 mm laser cannons with three main settings, bullet mode, laser mode, and ink mode, they also carry four hidden compartments to store four missiles, two armor piercing, the other two high explosive, but the significance about these aircrafts is that it has two hovering engine parts located on the wings, unlike the aircraft that needed a runway to lift off, these ones can use anti-gravity mechanics so that when they launch off the ground, they can go into combat in immediately.

When the two aircraft finally came out of the jump they halted for a moment, one of the pilots signaled to his wingman to see what the mission was on the dashboard.

Attention Pilots: your mission is to destroy a fleet of airships that are lying in wait to ambush an airship containing the presence of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Mission, protect them at all cost.

When the message was finish the pilots look at each other, they've been through many missions together but this will be a real challenge, they're up against Superior numbers but the technology of the airships is nothing compares to the advanced technology the aircraft has, is all in the ability and skill that the pilots had that will change the outcome.

When Tempest Shadow finally located where the sound came from, she thought it was some sort of dragon or large bird when she caught sight of the two objects in the air, when she looked through the binoculars her eyes widen, they were not dragons or birds or any creature that she scene in her life, at first they look to be standing still then it started moving to the side starting to dive down and level themselves out with the fleet, the aircraft started to speed up and split up, some ships managed to fire off several cannonballs but the aircraft were maneuverable so they just dodge them, one cannonball managed to hit one of the aircrafts but it seem to just bounce off like it was nothing, these aircraft were fitted with shield for they have to use them when they go to space combat as well to fight against laser technology, when the pilots where in range the two aircraft unleashed their fury against the airships.

Tempest Shadow eyes widened when suddenly flashes of light started to come off these aircraft, in the next moment half the fleet were half ablaze, the pilots knew that they were ordered not to kill whatsoever, so they had to use ink mode on their weapons, but they use acid base ink, so when the ink splattered across the balloons it burned through catching the gas that's holding the aircraft up to ignite.

After their first run, the aircrafts meet up to make a figure eight, they look back to see how much damage they did, some ships were still up though on fire while the rest of them started to fall to the ocean below, one of the pilots signal his wingman that they will go up against the medium ships, though his wingman noticed that they had armor on their balloon structure, so signal back that they have to use armor piercing missiles on them.

I've just seen what these monsters can do, said Tempest Shadow with herself in a fighting stance even though her horn is broken she can still fire off magic bolt that can explode on impact, once the crafts were in range she ignited her horn and fire on the aircraft, the pilots try their best but she managed to get a few hits, one bolt managed to penetrate the shield damaging one of the compartment which hold one of the high explosive missiles, so they were down to three missiles left, when they were in range they unleash all of the army piercing rounds on the medium airships, all the missiles made their mark, sliced through two at a time leaving the last one to be rain down by Ink bullets.

After the last run they made another figure eight and tried to attack the last main ship, but Tempest was ready for them, using her strength she fired bolt after bolt of magic at them, the aircraft sustained hits leaving marks on the craft, after they failed to get a clear shot one of the pilots signal his wingman that he'll be going to attack from above, and that his wingman need to distract her as long as possible, he nod in agreement, soon the aircraft pull off to gain altitude, while the other pilot started to distract Tempest Shadow by firing a volley of ink bullets, the distraction work, the other aircraft managed to get enough altitude made a barrel roll and started to dive down.

Tempest was so distracted that she didn't even know that the other aircraft was missing, she started to notice in between shots that the other craft was missing, then it came to mind that it might be coming from above, since the state of a magic was unstable she rushed to one of the latters going up to the top of the balloon holding the airship, she looked all around to find out where the aircraft was coming from, then when she saw that it was coming straight down, she's stable herself in a fighting stance, then continue to fire off bolts of magic at the aircraft, the pilot knew that she might appeared on the roof, so he put all the shield energy in front of the aircraft to try reflect as much of the attacks as possible, when he was close enough he at least a hell of bullets enough to distract her long enough to unleash the last two of his high explosive missiles, he only have just enough time to dodge the explosion, Tempest dodge as well, she felt the ship started to sink, but there was a spare craft on the under side of the ship so some of the crew managed to escape on there, but even though it started to sink the other pilot with one last missile took a run at the ship and made a huge explode, for the missile hit one of the gunpowder rooms causing the ship to be incinerated, the pilots joined up together again side by side, but before leaving they wanted to make sure that the other aircraft the one they were protecting is safe and sound.

On board the cargo ship twilight and her friends and the ship crew we're at the edge of the ship looking towards the flashes of light in the cloud, then silent, then it was broken by a noise that caught their attention, then saw two gray objects appear for the clouds, circling the ship the pilots were happy to see that everyone was all right, one of the pilots put his aircraft in hover mode, opening his canopy he threw a paper airplane at them, it was a message saying, make a 90° turn and head for the other cloud bank, a friend.

Twilight looked back up to the aircraft, and the pilot made a salute before heading off, with his wingman they went into the horizon before jumping leaving two dots of light.
