K so there is a reason for this but I think you will soon find out.
Ruler of the skies or the ruler of the underworld?
“Are you sure?” she pressed, her voice trembling. “They said—” “That it hasn’t been done in centuries,” he finished, a hint of excitement in his tone. “That’s exactly why I must do it.” With a determined nod, she approached a hidden control panel, her fingers trembling slightly as she pressed a button adorned with intricate symbols. The room quivered as colors swirled around them, illuminating the space with an ethereal glow. “Just remember,” she whispered, “you may not come back the same.” He met her gaze, a spark of determination in his eyes. “I’m counting on it.” As the button clicked, a vortex of shimmering energy erupted before him, swirling with light and shadow. The familiar shapes of the room began to fade, replaced by a kaleidoscope of colors. With one last glance back, he stepped into the vortex, swallowed by brilliance. In an instant, the world twisted and turned, time and space unraveling in a dizzying blur. Then, everything stopped. He landed on solid ground, breathless and awestruck. The air buzzed with vibrancy, filled with swirling tendrils of energy and distant echoes. Around him stretched a vast landscape of shifting forms—Vortexia, a realm that defied the laws of nature. As he took a step forward, the ground pulsated with life. Raw energy coursed through the atmosphere, igniting his senses. Just then, a figure emerged from the vibrant haze, draped in layers of shifting fabric that echoed the colors of the landscape. Their eyes sparkled with curiosity and mischief. “Welcome, traveler,” they said, their voice melodic and enchanting. “You are the first to tread these paths in centuries.” The figure gazed into his eyes, and he felt a shock of recognition. “Stars in your eyes, moon dust in your lungs, You are a child of the cosmos, a ruler of the skies.” It said. He raised an eyebrow, intrigued but cautious. “And what does that mean for me?” “I can grant you a wish, one that can shape the very fabric of your reality. But first, let me read your soul,” they replied, stepping closer. He hesitated, weighing the offer. “And if I refuse?” “Then you’ll stay as you are, unknowing of your true potential.” The stranger smiled, a knowing glint in their eye. “But I sense you want more.” With determination, he nodded. “Very well. Read my soul.” The stranger closed their eyes, concentrating. A soft glow emanated from their fingertips as they hovered their hands just above his chest. Images flooded his mind—stars swirling in galaxies, cosmic storms brewing, and the vastness of time unfolding. He felt echoes of ancient power coursing through him, every heartbeat a reminder of his potential. “You desire freedom, adventure, the chance to carve your path among the stars,” the stranger murmured. “But there’s a weight to that wish—a sacrifice.” “I’m ready for it,” he replied, excitement bubbling within him. With a final flourish, the stranger’s eyes snapped open, a shimmering light swirling within them. “Then it is done. Your wish is granted.” In an instant, the landscape began to dissolve, colors swirling into a vortex mirroring the one that had brought him here. He felt himself being pulled, the familiar rush of energy wrapping around him once more. “Remember,” the stranger’s voice echoed, growing fainter as the world faded, “the cosmos is always with you. Embrace your destiny!” Just as suddenly as he had arrived, he found himself back in the dimly lit room, the air heavy with the scent of aged wood. The shadows clung to the walls, but he felt different—alive with the energy of Vortexia coursing through his veins. Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward, ready to embrace whatever awaited him in his own world, knowing he was no longer bound by the ordinary. With a smile on his lips, he exited the room, the echoes of Vortexia resonating in his heart. The cosmos had chosen him, and he would not disappoint.
