Applejack shrugged. "If it was going to be one of us, better you than me," she said. "The Wonderbolts have paid maternity leave. But work on the farm never stops."

"No, I mean about me being... disloyal," Rainbow said.

Applejack pursed her lips. "Well, from the way you told me, it wasn't strictly your fault that it happened. And you told me right away when you got back, which I appreciate. Sunburst blushed. "But my dad and I were thinking... if it helps, he could take credit for it. You know, to get the spotlight off you."

"Oh..." Sunburst shuffled his hooves, unsure exactly how to feel about that. "I... I guess that could work. It would make sense to a lot of ponies. But... why?"

"He's not trying to take your place," she said. "I mean, the father's place. I mean, in terms of raising the foal. It's just to quell the rumor. That's all."

"But..?" he asked.

Starlight rubbed her belly and smiled weakly. "But... We'd like it if you could do the same for our- for my pregnancy."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"I mean... sure. I guess," he said. "But I'm going to have my hooves full, so..."

"Oh, no no! We don't need any help beyond that!" Starlight said.

"Okay," he said. "So is that what you're going to tell Trixie?"

"Yeah. It's kinda what she expected after the last time you and I spoke."

"Well, that works out," he said.

"Sunburst, dear!" Stellar's voice called from inside the house. "Mommy needs to be milked again!"

Sunburst gave Starlight an awkward smile. "I gotta go. Congratulations, by the way."

"You too."

"Turnabout is only fair play after all." Twilight Velvet said from her bed.

"You're not angry?" Twilight Sparkle asked, rubbing her pregnant belly.

"What do I even have to be angry about? More grandfoals?" Velvet asked, rubbing her own very pregnant belly. "Even if I was, that would be incredibly hypocritical of me."

Twilight nodded. "I was gonna say..."

"I'm sincerely happy for you. Both of you," Velvet said.

"Thank you for understanding, dear," Night Light

"Of course!" Velvet said.

He grabbed the rest of his packed bags to bring to the front door to move in with his daughter at her castle. He leaned over and gave his wife a kiss.

Shining Armor growled quietly at him as he continued to hump his mother.

"Be nice!" Velvet scolded. Shining snorted but otherwise calmed down. "I'm just glad this worked out for everypony."

"If you say so," Cadance said.

"Sharing is caring, dear," Velvet said. "I think that's what we've all learned here. I'm sharing my husband. And Shining knows that it's your turn next."

Twilight Sparkle smirked and helped her Night Light with his last bit of luggage.

"I think a little space apart will be good for the boys," Velvet said. "But you and your father better make sure you visit me more often than Shining did," Velvet said as she rubbed her belly. "Or else the next time there's a vacancy in my womb, it'll be the both of you getting put in there!"
