Heavy breathing can be heard as three figures were seen running. One of them looked like a middle-aged man with dark red skin, light blue hair, and wearing an oversized green leather coat with yellow markings. The second one is a woman with deep rose skin, dark yellow hair, and wearing an oversized dark pink leather coat with dark blue markings. The last one was also a middle-age man with light gray skin, deep blue hair, and an oversized white leather coat with black markings while he was carrying a bag.
The markings on each of their coats were in the shapes of hearts on the fronts while wings were shaped on the backs. As they continued to run, they seemed to be being pursued by a bunch of strange black creatures with glowing yellow eyes. The moment they looked back to see if they were losing them, a wall of green flames suddenly erupted and stopped them in their tracks. They turned around to see Maleficent and Pete walking towards them with the black creatures behind them.
"Why must you resist?" Maleficent questioned the three. "There's no escaping the darkness, and I know that you three know the knowledge of the Book of Prophecy and a black box."
"Why must you both continue down the path of darkness?" The woman questioned the two with a concerned tone. "You know that it will only swallow you and you can never find your light again."
"We didn't ask for your opinion, we asked about the book and that black box." Pete mentioned before he eyed the bag the man in the white coat was holding. "But I'm a little curious as to what's in the bag. It definitely has the Heartless all rattled."
"I do sense very great power coming from within that back, you won't mind if we have a look?" Maleficent asked rhetorically before the man in the white coat put the bag behind his back before he stuck out his right hand. The other man and the woman followed suit as something appeared in a bright light when they focused. In a flash of light, big keys the size of swords appeared in their hands but each of them looked different.
The man in green's key had a long black blade with silver metal near the top and a half star near it. The guard around the handle at the other end was oval-shaped with rigid edges and a chain connected to the bottom in the shape of stars with a flat blue orb. The woman's key had a light pink blade with a half sun at the end. The guard that is around the handle looked to be in the shape of wings in the color red while the chain at the end of it had a flame with a pink orb in the middle of it. Finally, the man in the white coat was holding a large key which has a pure white blade and golden lines going up. While the teeth at the end of it is in the shape of a star, the guard that is around the handle is in the shape of a heart while it had a chain with a sun at the end of it.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding us, they're keyblade wielders?!" Pete complained as the Heartless charged at the three. The man in green charged back as he showed Incredible strength as he swung his Keyblade to destroy three or four Heartless. As a few of them tried to surprise attack him from behind, multiple fireballs were launched by the woman as she displayed amazing acrobatics and magic skills with her Keyblade. She soon did a few flips as she struck a few Heartless in the air.
The man in white stood still as he let the Heartless come to him and struck them down while defending the bag. It seemed like he was holding his own until Pete charged in and tried to reach for the bag. The man saw him coming as he quickly flipped over him and whacked him away with his keyblade. Pete crash landed next to Maleficent, who is holding her head in frustration. "Insolent fool." She cursed before she held up her staff as the orb on a glowed right. "Meteors of the heavens, unleash thy fury!!" Soon a bunch of meteors were shooting right at them before the man in white saw them coming.
He quickly ran towards the meteors before using his keyblade to grab each of them as he did a few somersaults. He then chanted a magic word before the meteors were covered in water before he threw a few of them at the firewall and the rest of them at the ground near Maleficent and Pete. The impact on the ground caused the dirt to kick up and blinded them, before I cleared and they saw the three Keyblade wielders were missing.
The three were seen running until they reached a train station and stopped to catch their breath. "We can't keep this up…" The man in green mentioned. "Sooner or later, they will get their clutches on the Heart Keys."
"Then it's time." The man in white mentioned before he held up his keyblade. "We must find successors."
"Are you sure about this?" The woman asked with concern. "We won't just end up putting our burden on to the next wielders."
"But we are not getting any younger, eventually, Kingdom Hearts will return." The man in white reminded her before he sat down the bag and brought out his keyblade. The other two summoned their key blades as they hold them close and whispered something to each other Keyblades.
"Find a heart that has the courage, courageousness, and the light to fend off the darkness." They whispered before they ended up throwing their keyblades into the distance as each of them started to fly off somewhere.
A teenage boy with dark yellow skin and golden yellow hair was seen walking on a narrow pathway as he was being careful where he stepped. He was wearing a gray vest with a yellow shirt underneath. Around his neck is a necklace with some sort of key part on top, it looked like a yellow square guard with a yellow crown in the middle of it.
He suddenly stopped and gasped when he saw something in front of him. It looked like a big white door with a big giant lock and a giant white heart behind it.
"Beyond this is the heart of all worlds, within lies a power everyone seeks." The boy heard a voice whispering from everywhere. "But know that for whatever power one seeks, depends on the seeker's heart. Do you have the heart to open this door?"
"Power? I…I don't know about that…" The boy said as he took a step back, but then the ground gave in and he started to fall into an abyss.
The same boy suddenly fell out of his bed and onto the floor as he grunted in pain. "Ah man…that hurt." He groaned before he sat up on the floor. "Another weird dream, same one as before. Why do I keep having it?" He asked himself before he quickly noticed the time, which made his eyes widen before he quickly jumped up. "Oh man, I'm gonna be late!!"
He quickly went into his closet and put on the clothes he had on in his dream before running out of his room and down some stairs. He quickly made his way down to a cafe where a woman with light blue skin and greenish blue hair was working at the front counter. "Hey Misty, why didn't you wake me up?!" He questioned her.
"I'm your cousin, Heart, not your babysitter." Misty replied. "You're in high school now, act like it."
"But it's my first day at an American school!" Heart called out before he quickly put on his shoes and ran out the door with his backpack. He then started running through the streets of Canterlot City, a very nice little place where something magical has happened before. He continued his way down the street until he noticed a lady having trouble with some groceries. The moment he noticed it, he quickly turned and went over to her. "Here, let me help you." He said as he picked up a few of the bags.
"Oh you don't have to." The woman told him.
"But I want to." Heart replied with a warm smile. "I don't like to see others struggle, so I do what I can't help, miss…"
"Cream Heart." She replied with a smile. "And it's very kind of you to help me out. After we get done with the groceries, I could help you with something if you like. I'm supposed to take my son to Canterlot High later so I'll have to make it quick."
"I was actually on my way to the school before helping you." Heart mentioned, which surprised Cream.
"Well in that case, after we're done, I'll give you a lift there." She mentioned as they brought the groceries into the house.
Meanwhile at Canterlot High, the students were out in the courtyard or going into the building while a car pulled up and parked in one of the parking zones. Flash Sentry then stepped out of the car before grabbing his backpack and guitar case. "Another day of school, and who knows what's to come." He said to himself as he walked up to the front entrance but bumped into a familiar girl with glasses and indigo hair. "Sorry Twilight."
"It's okay, Flash." She replied as Sunset allowed a small chuckle.
"Do you always like to bump into Twilights?" Sunset teased him.
"Very funny, Sunset." Flash replied with an eye roll. "So, how much do you want to bet that today will end up either normal or magical?"
"Funny." Sunset said before Principal Celestia walked up to them.
"Flash, Twilight, Sunset, can I talk to you three for a moment?" She called out. "It's something important."
"What's wrong?" Sunset asked.
"Nothing, it's that we have a News student who has transferred from Japan and I was hoping you three could give him a tour around campus." Celestia told them. "The only problem is he's running a bit late. He should have been here by now." Soon Cream Heat drove up and dropped both her son, Button Mash, and Heart off. "Oh there he is."
"Thank you again." Heart said as Cream Heart drove off and he walked up to Principal Celestia. "Sorry for being late."
"It's quite alright, and you arrived just on time." Celestia told him before she looked at Sunset, Flash, and Twilight. "This is Heart Light, the new student I told you three about. Heart, this is Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and Flash Sentry. They'll be showing you around campus on your first day."
Heart turned to them and bowed to them. "Nice to meet you." He graded them.
"You too." Flash replied as Heart stood up straight. "So you moved here from japan?"
"Yeah, and I live with my cousin in the city." Heart replied. "She just opened up her own Cafe."
"Oh yeah, I heard about that." Sunset mentioned. "I think it's called 'Coffee and Hearts.'"
"That's the one." Heart replied. "I can take you there after school. Plus my cousin has been looking for a band to play in to help draw in customers."
"I think we can help with that." Twilight mentioned as she and sunset smiled at each other. "But for now, let's show you around the school." The four of them soon went inside the school as three familiar keyblades were hovering high in the sky.
Later after school, Heart was given a semester assignment with Flash and Twilight as the three of them were heading to Twilight's place. "So we need to come up with a way to help others in need for our assignment." Twilight reminded the two boys as they went into the backyard. "I need to get a few things from my lab and we can get started."
They soon walked up to a shed as Twilight unlocked the door and the moment they went inside, Heart was amazed by all the equipment that was inside. "Whoa, you built all this?!" He asked with amazement.
"Well when you have as much free time as I have, you tend to have plenty of time with your hobby." Twilight mentioned.
"Hey Twi, what's this?" Flash called out as he was pointing to some sort of unfinished robot. The robot itself looked like it had white and pinkish purple metal with a few black parts. The chest of the robot is heart shaped just like the faceplate while the limbs seem to be unfinished and not attached to it.
"Oh, that's just a robot assistant I'm building." Twilight explained. "It's almost done with it, and once it is, it'll help me out with anything I need around here. My projects and other things such as that."
Heart kept looking around her lab until he heard some sort of voice whispering. "Follow your heart…the darkness creeps near." He looked around and wondered where the source of the voice was coming from.
"Did you both say something?" He asked Flash and Twilight.
"No, why?" Flash asked in confusion.
"It's nothing, just thought I heard something." He mentioned as Twilight put a laptop in her bag.
"Alright, let's get going." She said as the three of them made their way out of the place, unaware of something following them in the shadows. "By the way, I've been meaning to ask Heart, what's with that key?" She asked as she pointed towards the key on his necklace.
"Oh, this is something my grandfather gave me years ago when I was just a boy." Heart explained with a warm smile. "He said it was a special charm that I might need someday."
"Huh, what do you think he meant by that?" Flash asked before they felt a chill in the air. They looked around as they felt like they were being followed but couldn't see anything or anyone. "Who's there?"
"Does anyone else feel that chill in the air?" Twilight asked with a concerned tone as none of them noticed a Heartless emerging from the shadows and crawling towards.
"Look out!" Heart heard the voice again as he quickly turned and saw the Heartless about to attack Twilight and Flash. He quickly pulled them both out of the way just as the Heartless pounced on them. They then saw more heartless coming out, along with a few Soldier Heartless.
"What are those things?!" Heart questioned before one of the soldier Heartless jumped to attack them. Heart quickly spun and kicked it back before Twilight quickly used her levitation magic to push more of them back. "How did you do that?" He asked her when he saw her do that.
"It's a long story." Twilight replied before Flash quickly through a trash can at another Heartless when it tried to jump her from behind. Flash and Heart showed off some martial arts skills as the three of them continued to defend them off but more just continued to come out of the shadows. "They just won't stop coming!" A bunch of Heartless was about to dogpile on them before the three keyblades flew down and struck each one. The three teens were surprised by this as each heartless was slain by each Keyblade.
"What are those things?" Flash asked before the silver Keyblade floated in front of him, just as the red keyblade floated in front of Twilight and the white Keyblade floated in front of Heart.
"They look like keys, but they struck those things down like swords." Heart mentioned as Twilight noticed as she moved to one side, the Keyblade in front of her moved with her.
"I think these things are following us?" Twilight mentioned in confusion. "I wonder if this is some sort of equestrian magic." She thought as heart looked at the Keyblade in front of him and couldn't shake this odd feeling inside his heart. All three Keyblades then turned around to present their handles to each of them.
"Hey guys, I know this is going to sound weird, but I think these keys want us to grab on." He told the other two.
"What makes you say that?" Flash asked him.
"I don't know, it's just a feeling in my heart." Heart replied as he kept on looking at the Keyblade in front of him. His arm moved on its own as it was slowly reaching for the Keyblade.
"Are you sure about this?" Twilight asked with concern as Heart was about to grab the Keyblade in front of him. The moment Heart grabbed the handle of the Keyblade, they waited in anticipation for something to happen in silence. "Huh, nothing." She mentioned before she looked at the keyblade in front of her and grabbed hold of it and Flash grabbed the one in front of him. "It's weird, there's some sort of connection the moment I grabbed onto this thing."
"Yeah, it feels like-whoa!" Flash yelped as all three keyblades suddenly jerked them forward before the ends of them lit up. Soon a beam of light shot out from all three keyblades before they collided together to create some sort of door in front of them. "Did…did that just happen?" He asked the other two in shock of what they just saw.
"These are definitely no ordinary keys." Twilight said before they noticed Heart walking up to the door. "Heart, wait! We don't know what that is or where that goes."
"Yeah but, don't you get the feeling that these things were sent to us because someone is in trouble?" Heart asked them as he looked at the door. "I can't shake the feeling that someone needs our help and I can't ignore it. My heart is just telling me to go through the door and see why these keys were sent to us."
Flash and Twilight looked at each other for a moment as they had to admit that they had the same feeling as well. Flash then let out a sigh before he walked up next to Heart. "If you're going in, then so am I." He told him before Twilight stepped up to them.
"I guess I should come too, because even I'll admit that I'm curious about this as well." She admitted as all three of them looked at the door in front of them.
"Okay, let's go." Heart sad as they moved closer to the door. Once they were close enough, the door opened on its own and a bright light shined through and nearly blinded them. Soon they were engulfed in the bright light when they entered through the door.
They had their eyes closed when they were blinded by the light and stepped through the door before they opened and saw they were no longer in Canterlot City. They found themselves on some sort of train station platform where they saw a field of grass in the color of silver while they saw the night sky. "Wh-Where are we?" Twilight asked as she was both surprised and amazed as to where the door led them.
Before either Flash or Heart could say anything, the keyblades they were holding suddenly disappeared in a flash of light, which took them by surprise. "So, you three are what draw our keyblades too?" They heard a man ask before they turned to see the three Keyblade wielders standing before them.
"If our Keyblades came to them, they probably have something within their hearts that they can see." The woman mentioned before they walked up to the three teens. "What are your names?" She asked them with a warm smile.
"Flash Sentry."
"Twilight Sparkle."
"Heart Light."
"Those are some odd names, but they'll do." The man in green said before the man in white place down the bag as the three Keyblade wielders turned their Keyblades around so the handles were facing the three teens. "As Keyblade Masters, in the worlds' time of need…"
"Thy hearts of light, we passed on the Keyblade to the…" The woman continued.
"So that the light may be protected from the darkness, and let your hearts be your guiding key. The man in white finished as the three teens realized they wanted them to hold on to the key blades. Each of them grabbed the handle of the Keyblades as they stood there for about a few seconds before they let go with them and the three Keyblad wielders looked at them. "Now, I suppose we should get your training started." He mentioned before he noticed the key around Heart's neck. "Where'd you get that Heart Key?"
"'Heart Key'?" They heard Maleficent repeat before they turn to see her and Pete approaching from a Corridor of Darkness. "Is that you three are protecting? They must be plenty powerful if you three are risking everything to protect them." She mentioned with an evil grin.
"Who's that, and why is there a big cat next to her?" Flash asked before they noticed the three Keyblade wielders taking a fighting stance with their Keyblades.
"Oh you still won't give them up, eh?" Pete questioned before he looked at Maleficent. "Should I rally the troops?"
"No need, for I believe I know a way to dispose of them." Maleficent mentioned as she looked towards the three teens before she held her staff high. "HELL'S COLUMN, BURN THEM TO SUNDER!" A large green flame was then shot out towards them as the three keyblade-wheelers quickly stood in front of the teens and created a barrier to protect them. The three teens watched as the keyblade wielders struggled to keep the shield up from the flames.
"Move, you'll be destroyed!" Heart called out with concern.
"Heart, you and your friends listen to me!" The man in white called out. "Darkness will stop at nothing to get these keys! She will stop at nothing to obtain the Book of Prophecies and a black box! Do not let either one prevail! Take our Keyblades and defend the light, and may your hearts be your guiding keys!" Just as the barrier broke, the three Keyblade wielders quickly threw their Keyblades at the three teens as everything went white.
"Heart! Heart, wake up!" Heart heard his cousin Misty called out before he opened his eyes and saw her and Sunset looking down on him, Twilight, and Flash as the three of them were on the ground.
"W-What happened?" Twilight groaned as she and the two boys sat up.
"Well, I went to your cousin's cafe and told her about our band, Twilight." Sunset started explaining. "We were taking a walk through the park, talking about the cafe and stuff until we noticed you three laying on the ground. What happened to you three and what's with those big keys?"
"What are you talking about?" Flash asked before he noticed something was in his right hand, along with Twilight and heart. All three of them looked and they were holding the Keyblades of the three Keyblade wielders they saw before. Their eyes widened with realization as they remembered what happened and quickly stood up.
"I remember now, we were in some sort of different place with silver grass and at a train station." Heart started talking with a worried look. "We met three people there…and then…"
"Whoa, slow down." Misty told her cousin. "Where were you three again?" Before any of them could say another word, they felt a very powerful tremor shaking the ground as they struggled to keep balance.
"What's happening now?!" Twilight exclaimed before they looked up and saw a large crack forming in the sky. It wasn't long before that crack shattered like glass and hundreds of keys were spilling out of it.
"What are those things?!" Sunset questioned before a blue key came right at her and struck her right in the heart.
"Sunset!" Flash and Twilight called out as all four of them watched as the key seeped into her heart before she was covered in some sort of black substance. She cried out before that substance transformed her into some sort of witch with purplish black skin, sharp claws, and the emblem of the Heartless on her chest. It looked like she was wearing rags for clothes on her body before she let out some sort of screech while lightning came out of her claws.
"Wh-What happened to her?!" Misty questioned in shock before they all ducked when the creature that is Sunset shot lighting at them.
"Sunset, snap out of it!" Twilight called out before the Heartless shot multiple Fireballs at them, causing them to move out of the way. A Corridor of Darkness then opened as Maleficent and Pete stepped through to see the Sunset turned Heartless while the four teens were dodging her attacks.
"What kind of Heartless is that?" Pete questioned as Maleficent looked at it with interest.
"So, this is the power of the Heart Keys those fools were protecting?" She asked with a mischievous grin. "With that kind of power, securing both the black box and the Book of Prophecies will be much easier. First, let's secure this Witch Heartless." She then hit the ground with her staff as green glowing chains emerged from a flame that came from the ground beneath it. Soon they shot out and wrapped around the Witch Heartless before it was letting out a screech of pain from the burning chains.
"Who and what are those two?!" Misty questioned after seeing Pete and Maleficent, but Heart was focused more on Sunset as the screeches of pain made his heart ache.
"I think they're trying to take Sunset!" Flash called out as Heart was gripping tightly on the Keyblade in his hand. Before anyone else knew what happened, Heart suddenly rushed forward and broke the chains with just one slash of the keyblade.
"Leave her alone!" He shouted at Maleficent with a glare. "My friend here was in pain by your own chains and I won't let you take her!"
"Insolent fool, your friend is lost to the darkness." Maleficent told him. "Once a heart has been consumed by the darkness, there is no coming back from it."
"You're wrong!" Heart argued as he gripped harder on the Keyblade. "I know in my heart that there's a way to save her. I know in my heart, that there is a light inside of her that's still going! And I will save her light and bring her out of the darkness, with all of my heart!" Maleficent only glared at him as she somehow is being reminded of a certain other Keyblade wielder long ago.
"Very well, if you wish to share the fate of those old fools, then so be it!" She declared as she used her magic to launch a large fireball right at Heart. His cousin along with flash and Twilight called out him to move, but he stood his ground as he knew if he moved out of the way, then Sunset behind him would get hit by the fireball. He gripped the keyblade with both hands as he stood ready to block it before a bright light shined between him and the fireball.
Heart was blinded by the light for a few seconds before it died down and he found himself in a familiar place, one he had seen in his dreams. "My dearm…" He gasped as he saw the gigantic door with the lock on it and the big white heart behind it right in front of him.
"This is no dearm." Heart heard the voice call out from everywhere. "Do you have the heart to open this door and obtain the power from within? Make your decision now." Heart gripped tightly on the keyblade as he thought about his friend, Sunset Shimmer, suffering and wonder if the power beyond the door in front of him will be enough to save her. He then had a determined look on his face as he looked at the door before charging forward. He then leaped high into the air before he jabbed the Keyblade right into the keyhole of the lock.
Soon the chains that covered the door shine bright as the lock suddenly released some sort of light which pushed Heart back. The keyblade was then absorbed into the lock as it vanished before the door itself slowly opened. Heart watched in awe as the door opened wide and he saw a figure inside wearing some sort of belt with a buckle in the shape of a heart. The figure circled its arms all the way around before crossing them out in a X. After placing its crossed arms on its chest, the figure reeled back before it held out its arms and made its hands in the shape of a heart.
Everyone was blinded by the light before it suddenly died down and they saw Heart, completely unscathed as the fireball vanished, holding some sort of heart shape buckle. "What the…Where'd he get that?!" Pete questioned with confusion before heart placed the buckle on his front. A light then came out from both ends of the buckle and wrapped around his waist.
Hearts Driver!
"I will save my friend's light, with all my heart!" Heart declared before he ripped off the Heart Key around his neck and pressed the button on the back as it suddenly chanted when the blade came down.
Kingdom!
He raised it up before placing it in the key slot of the driver, causing it to lit up yellow, chant and let out some sort of standby jingle.
Set!
They all watched as Heart circled his arms slowly while a golden door appeared behind him. He then crossed his arms forward before crossing them on his chest. He then reeled back before extending his arms out and making a heart from his hands. "Henshin!" He called out before he took the key and twisted it, causing the the heart on the driver to extend out as it chanted.
Hearts open!
The door behind him then opened up as a bright light covered him. As Heart struck a poser, his body glowed right as armor came out of the door behind him and attached each part of the armor to him. This revealed a figure in a black leather suit, along with a black helmet with a white mouth plate and two black eyes that looked like keyholes with the bottoms running along the sides of his helmet.
The light that had flown off of him then merged in front of him, forming a larger version of the key he had just used in his belt. The key spun through the air for a second before exploding into streams of light that slammed into Heart's body and formed armor.
His chest armor covered his front, shoulders and back, being white in color with a golden crown shape on the chest. The crowd had three points, with the first one going upwards towards his head whilst the other two went up to his shoulders. Each point had a round circle at the top and the shoulder ones were connected to an identical crown shape on his back.
His wrist armor covered everything between his hand and his elbow, being white in color with golden trim. The leg armor covered the front of his legs, wrapped around the backs by black straps. His knees were covered by white padding and the armor also went up the sides of his legs above the knees.
Finally, his armor also covered the black bits of his helmets but left the mouth and eye sections uncovered. The sides of his helmet had ear-like antennae coming off the sides, which were shaped just like the keyblade. The eyes were in the color light blue as the driver chanted yet again.
Kingdom Key(key, key, key)!
Everyone was surprised by this as the armored figure looked himself over. "Whoa, what is this?!" The armored figure questioned with Heart's voice. "Is this what the voice meant?" The Witch Heartless then allowed a screech as it was charging right towards him. The armored figure saw it coming before he quickly blocked an attack with his arm before unleashing a flurry of attacks towards its chest. He punched the Heartless A few times before jumping and kicking it back.
"I don't know what's going on, but things look bad for us, sister!" Pete told Maleficent in a worried tone, which only earned him a glare from her.
"I may not know what kind of power this is, but I will not let this insolent fool stop me!" She declared before she stabbed her fingers to make a few Heartless surround him. One of the Heartless tried to jump him before he quickly dodged the attack before spin kicking it and destroying it.
As Misty, Flash, and Twilight watched the armored figure fight the heartless, they quickly noticed some of them were coming after them. Two of them jumped right at Flash and Twilight before flash quickly held up the keyblade he was holding in his hand to block both attacks. He then swung his keyblade right at the two heartless and destroyed both of them which released the hearts. "Whoa…" Flash gasped after what happened before Twilight saw a couple of Soldier Heartless coming up from behind him.
"Look out!" She called out as she quickly swung her keyblade and knocked them back a bit before they could attack. "These things seem to be very effective against these things."
"Hey, are you guys okay?!" The armored figure called out as he fought off some of the Heartless.
"We're okay!" Flash called out as he used the keyblade to strike a few Heartless back. "We'll defend your cousin, you try and save Sunset!"
"Fools, I told you before that there is no saving your friend from the darkness!" Maleficent shouted.
"That's where you're wrong!" The armored figure called out. "I was given this power so I can save her! So, whether you like it or not, I'm going to save her from the darkness. Me: Kamen Rider Clavis!" He then held out his hand as a weapon appeared when he grabbed hold of a flash of light. It looked like a keyblade, only it had a golden guard around the black handle, said handle had a trigger near the top while the blade itself was silver with the teeth in the shape of a crown. "May my heart be my guiding key!"
Key-Buster!
He used his weapon to slash through some of the harmless before he jumped in the air and struck a few ones that had been in the air. Once he landed, Clavis quickly blocked an attack from the Witch Heartless when it charged at him before striking it a few times.
It stumbled back a bit and Clavis prepared to attack again and finish it off. But Twilight called out to him.
"Wait! That's still Sunset. What if you hurt her?" Clavis realised she was right. He still didn't know that much about these powers. He had no idea if destroying the Heartless would also destroy Sunset.
"What do I do?" But then, his key-buster suddenly started glowing. "Huh?" As he stared at it, he was suddenly bombarded with images. It was like a mini movie was being shown to him, acting almost like a tutorial for his abilities. And what he saw amazed him. "That's it."
"What's it?" Flash asked, as Clavis took the Heart Key out of his driver and placed it in the slot at the bottom of his weapon.
"Hang on, Sunset!" The armored hero cried, as he turned the key. It then started to let out some sort of standby music before he pulled the trigger and the weapon chanted.
Kingdom, Key-slash!
He then spun around as he slashed his weapon while it let out some sort of energy that took out the remaining Heartless, leaving just the Witch Heartless. He then charged at the Heartless, who unleashed several attacks that he deflected with the Key-Buster. "I'm going to save your light from the darkness!" He declared with determination.
"What?" Maleficent cried, as she watched him swing the blade at the Heartless.
Everyone was horrified, as the weapon struck the monster. But the energy within the key suddenly flew into the Witch Heartless and as Clavis pulled back, the creature was pulled along with it. And as it was, something was left behind.
Sunset stood there, as the Heartless was pulled off her body like some kind of dark glue. And with one final yank, the monster and girl were completely separated. The only thing connecting them was a single thin chord of dark energy.
Clavis threw the Heartless away from Sunset, though the chord kept them linked, as the key released the monster. He then took the key and placed it back in his driver before tossing away his weapon. "Time to end this!" He declared as Twilight ran over to Sunset to make sure she was okay.
He pushed the driver in as it let out some sort of standby music. He then took a ready stance as a crown glowed on the ground beneath him. He then turned the key before jumping high in the air as his right foot was glowing bright.
Kingdom, Revolution!
Clavis then extended his leg out while letting out a battle cry as he was coming in hot straight at the Witch Heartless. Soon he impacted right onto it before he skidded onto the ground and came to a halt as an explosion happened behind him.
The chord that had been connecting the Heartless to Sunset disappeared, allowing her to gasp as she seemed to wake up from a trance.
At the same time, a key flew out of the explosion and Clavis quickly caught the key. As he looked it over, he noticed that the symbol on it looked like either a witch or a wizard hat. "Impossible!" Maleficent shouted with shock and got Clavis' attention. "No one can return to the light once their heart has been consumed by darkness!"
"Well then, consider this the first time." Clavis told her as she growled in frustration. But before either her or Pete could do anything else, a Corridor of Darkness suddenly appeared behind them before they were both pulled into it by someone inside. It then quickly closed just as fast as it appeared. "Huh, where'd they go?"
Maleficent and Pete were pulled out of the corridor of Darkness as Pete fell onto his back. "What's the big idea?!" Pete demanded before he got up and they saw three people standing before them. One was a woman with white and purple hair, purplish red skin, and wearing a red and white dress with a broken heart pattern on the skirt. The second was a red skinned man with dark blue hair and wearing a sleeveless dark red vest and black jeans. The third one was a dark pink woman wearing a mask around her mouth while it had a monster mouth printed on it. She also wore black clothing with gray patterns in the shape of a heart.
"And who might you three be?" Maleficent questioned with a brow.
"A few people born from the darkness…" The woman with the mask replied with a cryptic tone. "We are neither Heartless nor Nobodies, yet we do not have hearts of light."
"But we do feel appreciation for both of you for bringing the heart keys to this world. The man told them. "And our boss wants to thank you both for bringing them here, that's why he asked us to bring you here."
"And where is here exactly?" Pete questioned before he noticed a few torches on some columns were lit up in purple flames. He then noticed that they were in some sort of Throne Room with hundreds upon hundreds of Heartless up on the ceiling. "Oh…heh, uh nice place ya got here…"
"How interesting, so many Heartless and you say that you are a few people born of darkness?" Maleficent asked the three with interest. "And might I ask who is your leader?"
"That would be me." A distorted voice replied as both Pete and Maleficent turned to see a black cloaked figure wearing a pure white heart mask on his face coming out of the shadows. "I've heard that you've been looking for a black box and a book. I asked my colleagues to bring you both here so we can make a deal to ensure we both get what we want."
Heart, Flash, and Twilight were heading back to her lab to figure out the means of the Heart Keys. They were relieved to find Sunset okay and the Rainbooms got a gig at Misty's Cafe, but she mentioned she has no memory of what happened. "...and then after putting that big key into that lock, that's how you got the driver?" Twilight finished summing what Heart told them before he transformed into a Kamen Rider.
"Yeah, and the really weird thing is that I've been having that same dream ever since I was little but can't remember where I've seen the big hard from." Heart explained as they made it to Twilight's lab.
"Well, this is officially the weirdest day of our lives." Flash mentioned. "First a bunch of small black creatures called heartless attacked us before these keys appeared out of nowhere before taking us to some place else. Then we met three people who did, I don't know, some sort of ritual before a big cat and a witch came out of nowhere and I guess killed them. And then all that has happened earlier." He listed out before he noticed something missing in Twilight's lab. "Hey Twilight, what happened to your robot?"
Twilight looked as she saw her robot that she was working on was not on the workbench. "What the… Where'd it--"
"HELLO!!" A robotic female voice shouted with an excited tone, which startled the three as they fell into the ground and saw Twilight's robot standing before them. The robotic limbs have been attached to it while it had some sort of scarf around its neck and lipstick on. "I'm so excited to meet all of you!" She declared as the three teens were stunned to see the robot activated, and acting all excited, almost as if it's alive.
