All students but one were sitting in class, taking notes on what Professor Applejack was teaching them. That one student was Ocellus. Inside Counselor Starlight’s office, she is on the couch with an uncomfortable and very shy look on her face. “So, what’s bothering you Ocellus?” Said Starlight. “Well, um, it’s just…” She tries to talk to Starlight. “It’s okay Ocellus, take your time.” Said Starlight. “I’m sorry, Counselor Starlight. I’m trying to tell you but it’s hard to say.” She said to Starlight. “Do you need more time to think about it?” Said Starlight. Ocellus didn’t say anything, she just nodded. Starlight smiled and walked Ocellus out of her office. “Counselor Starlight, can I please have a pass to stay in my dorm room for the day? I just want some time to think. “Well, I don’t see why not.” Said Starlight. “Yay! Thanks Counselor Starlight!” Ocellus said, fluttering up in the sky. “No problem Ocellus, I know you will make up your work the next day.” Said Starlight. Ocellus goes back to her dorm room and closes the door. She grabs a box from underneath her bed. That box was a box of diapers. She smiled and hugged the box. She put the box on the dresser and opened it up. Out she took one of the diapers and unfolded it on her bed. She got on her bed on top of the diaper, then she folded the front of the diaper over her and taped it on her. “S-so comfy and soft.” She said cuddling in bed. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door. Scared she fell out of her bed on her diaper which also cushioned her fall. “Yes, who’s there?” Ocellus said. “It’s me Ocellus, Smolder. Can I come in, I want to talk with you?” Said Smolder. “Um, one sec.” Ocellus said. She put the box of diapers back underneath her bed. She then hopped back on her bed and used her blanket to cover her diaper. “Okay, come in.” Ocellus said. Smolder opened the door and came in. She then closed the door behind her. “Sorry to bother you Ocellus. I just wanted to check on you. Because of you going to Counselor Starlight’s office and not returning to class.” Said Smolder lightly blushing. “Aww Smolder. That’s so nice of you.” Said Ocellus. “So, are you okay?” Said Smolder. “Well, um, I don’t know.” Said Ocellus. Smolder sat next to Ocellus on her bed. “Okay, if you want to talk with me, you can.” Said Smolder. “T-thanks Smolder. You’re an amazing friend. But I think I’m good without talking for now.” Said Ocellus. “Okay, remember you can always talk to me.” Said Smolder. Smolder got up and opened the door. She walked out, turned around, and smiled at Ocellus. Then she closed the door. Ocellus then got out of bed got her box of diapers out from under her bed again, and put it back on her dresser. She then felt the need to go, she usually doesn’t go in her diapers but sometimes she does. She slowly let go as she wet her diaper, and the front of her diaper slowly turned from white to yellow. “Ocellus! I forgot to say-” Smolder yelled, opening her door. They looked at each other, both blushing. Ocellus sat on the ground and covered her face in embarrassment, she also crossed her legs trying to cover her diaper. “Um, Ocellus, why are you wearing a diaper?” Said Smolder. “W-well they just make me feel good, I guess. Please don’t judge me.” Said Ocellus. “Ocellus, I’m not going to judge you. That’s not what good friends do. No need to be embarrassed.” Said Smolder. “Well, I’m not that embarrassed because it was you Smolder. And the main reason why I’m embarrassed is because you caught me in a wet diaper.” Said Ocellus. “Well, I guess that makes sense.” Said Smolder. They both sat on her bed, but Ocellus lay down on the bed and Smolder just sat on it. “This was the reason I was in Counselor Starlight’s office because I wanted to talk to her about this. Because wearing them makes me feel good, cozy, and less shy.” Said Ocellus tearing up. “So did you talk to Counselor Starlight about this?” Said Smolder. “I tried. I just didn’t feel like I could get it out. No matter how hard I tried.” Said Ocellus. “Are you going to try to talk to Counselor Starlight about this again?” Said Smolder. Ocellus just nods shyly. “It’s nothing but a fetish. I just don’t know why I can’t talk about it when I’m talking to Counselor Starlight.” Said Ocellus. “Do you think you would be able to if you brought a friend with you?” Said Smolder. “Maybe. You know what, that’s a great idea, Smolder. So would you like to come with me to talk to Counselor Starlight about this?” Said Ocellus. “Sure thing Ocellus. But I think you should probably get changed first. ” Said Smolder with a wink. She looked down because she forgot she was wearing a diaper. “Oops, thanks.” Said Ocellus. After Ocellus got changed, she and Smolder went back to Counselor Starlight’s Office to talk. They made it to Starlight’s Office and looked at each other, Smolder nodded at Ocellus as she knocked on the door. Starlight opened the door. “Oh, hey Smolder. Ocellus you’re back, I thought you didn’t want to talk right now.” Said Starlight. Ocellus took a deep breath, feeling the reassuring presence of Smolder by her side. “Actually, Counselor Starlight, I’ve decided I do want to talk now. And I brought Smolder with me for support.” Ocellus said. Starlight smiled warmly. “Of course, come in both of you. Let’s sit down and talk.” Ocellus and Smolder entered the office and sat on the couch. Starlight took a seat opposite them, her expression gentle and encouraging. “So, what’s on your mind, Ocellus?” Starlight asked. Ocellus hesitated for a moment, glancing at Smolder who gave her a nod of encouragement. “Well, it’s something I’ve been struggling with. I have this thing that makes me feel comfortable and happy, but I’ve been too embarrassed to talk about it.” Starlight nodded, her expression understanding. “It’s okay, Ocellus. You can share anything with me. This is a safe space.” Ocellus took another deep breath. “I like wearing diapers. They make me feel cozy, safe, and less shy. I know it might sound strange, but it’s something that really helps me.” Starlight’s eyes softened with empathy. “Thank you for sharing that with me, Ocellus. There’s nothing wrong with finding comfort in things that make you feel secure. Everyone has their own ways of coping and feeling safe.” Ocellus felt a wave of relief wash over her. “Thank you, Counselor Starlight. I was so scared you’d think it was weird or something.” Starlight shook her head. “Not at all. It’s important to embrace what makes you feel good and helps you be your best self. And I’m here to support you in any way I can.” Smolder squeezed Ocellus’s hoof. “See? I told you it would be okay.” Ocellus smiled gratefully at Smolder. “Thanks for being here with me, Smolder. I couldn’t have done this without you.” Starlight stood up and walked over to a shelf, pulling out a small booklet. “Here’s some information on self-acceptance and finding comfort in healthy ways. And if you ever need to talk more about this or anything else, my door is always open.” Ocellus took the booklet and hugged it close. “Thank you so much, Counselor Starlight. This means a lot to me.” Starlight smiled warmly. “You’re very welcome, Ocellus. Remember, you’re not alone, and it’s okay to be yourself.” With a newfound sense of acceptance and support, Ocellus and Smolder left the office, ready to face whatever challenges came their way with confidence and friendship. As they walked back to their dorm, Smolder turned to Ocellus. “So, what now?” Ocellus grinned. “Now, I think I’m ready to be more open about who I am. Thanks to you and Counselor Starlight, I feel a lot better.” Smolder smiled back. “That’s the spirit, Ocellus. And remember, I’m always here for you.” They both entered the dorm, feeling a stronger bond of friendship and understanding between them. After that, Ocellus started wearing diapers during the school day. Her teachers and friends now also understand and support her choice to wear her diapers.
