Right in the Childhood (working title)

Basically, Hook but with ponies. And without Tim Curry. Sadly.
If I find a place where I can fit a Tim Curry expy in as a villain, I'll make sure I do.
The teaser is written in first person present tense. That'll probably become the synopsis or something. I don't yet know what kind of narrator I want to use, but first person does appeal to me here.
The cover will probably have Megan as a middle aged woman, even though this picture is what sparked the idea. I'm still considering having her body change into that of a little girl again when she comes to Equestria, but I think I want the imagery of a grown woman in Equestria instead.
This fic will need to strike a balance between how humorously out-of-place Megan is, the sadness of how it's been 5000 years, the fact that there's a villain on the horizon worthy of the really scary shit from Megan's time, and the sweet and innocent angle (see pic) that made me want to write this. Like Robin Williams, Megan should re-discover her inner child. Maybe a little faster than Robin Williams did.
Not much plotting has been done for this, to be honest.
