“Ahhhh!” Bon Bon woke up with a start, flailing her hooves around before Lyra focused into view, holding a mini gong.
“Wakey wakey, sleepyhead,” she said, flashing a bright grin. “Breakfast is already on the table.”
Bon Bon groaned. “Lyra, I only told you to use that thing in case of an emergency.”
“But this is an emergency,” Lyra whined. “We're having our date today, remember? And every time I tried waking you up, you just turned around in bed and muttered something about animal extermination or something.”
Bon Bon rolled her eyes. “Lyra, that's not really an emergen-” The words died in her mouth as she looked into Lyra's wide, expectant eyes. “I love you, Lyra. Just five minutes, okay?”
“Okayyy.” Lyra reached over and mussed Bon Bon's hair. “I love you too, Bonnie.” She hopped out the bedroom door, trotting excited circles around the heaps of food as she waited for Bon Bon’s arrival.
Though they'd been married a few years by now, Lyra still found their dates to be as exciting as they were the first time. After they'd married, date nights had turned into date afternoons and now they reserved entire days just to spend time with each other. It was one of Lyra's favorite activities of all time, right next to hiding in bushes and eating dragon fruit salad. And you could do both of those things on a date! Life was so exciting.
She got bored of walking around the kitchen after about a minute. She pranced over to the front door, closing her eyes and smelling the cool morning breeze as she swung it open. Just the perfect temperature. And if the weather ponies were telling the truth, there would be no rain, nor storm, nor snow. It was going to be a perfect day.
When she opened her eyes, she started a bit. There was a hefty cardboard box sitting on the ground in front of her. It was neatly wrapped, with a little tidy bow at the top to seal it shut. On one side of the box, in plain view, was text in big, black letters: DO NOT OPEN.
“Oooh.” Lyra's curiosity was piqued immediately. “Well that isn't suspicious at all.” She crouched down until she was at eye level with the box, closing one eye and squinting at it with the other. It didn't seem to explode or anything when she poked it, and shaking it only produced a light shuffling noise. Whatever was inside, it seemed fairly lightweight. Examining the box further didn't produce any clues, so with a shrug, Lyra picked it up and carried it inside the house, setting it down on the living room table with a loud thud.
“Lyra? Did we get a delivery?”
Lyra turned around. Bon Bon was in the doorway, still rubbing sleep out of her eyes. Her mane was still messy and she had a mostly empty bottle of toothpaste in her grip.
“Good morning!” Lyra chirped. “Oh, I don't think we ordered anything recently. Unless those bed frames got shipped two months early, and I don't think this is bed frames.
“Hmm. That's pretty strange.” Bon Bon stepped closer and cautiously eyed the package. “Is there an address on this thing? Maybe it just got delivered to the wrong house.”
“Nope!” Lyra shrugged. “The only thing I saw written on it was ‘do not open’ in big letters.”
Bon Bon blinked rapidly. “Wait, what?” She circled the box until she too saw the text. “Lyra, and why did you take this inside, exactly?”
“I mean, someone left it here. For us,” Lyra said simply. “And plus, with writing like that, it's like, begging to be opened.”
Bon Bon rolled her eyes. “This is so a trap. What is it-”
Bon Bon’s heart melted as Lyra looked at her with the cutest puppy dog eyes she could muster. “Pleaaase?” Whispering, she added, “And it's not like I have any enemies or anything.”
Bon Bon chuckled. Lyra was too pure for that, that much was true. She sighed. “Fine, Lyra. Just be careful, okay?” She leaned over and gave Lyra a quick peck on the cheek, then walked away to resume her morning routine, mumbling something about Ponedora’s box.
Lyra pumped her hoof in the air. “Yes!” She poked and prodded at the box one last time, just to be sure. When still nothing happened, she began peeling away at the tape, eagerly untying the string wrapped around the box until it was fully unraveled. Stepping a few paces away from it, she decided it would be smart to open the box using her magic at a distance. Thankfully, nothing seemed to pop out or explode immediately as she lifted the flaps keeping the box closed.
Using her magic to reach further into its insides, she poked around until her magic made contact with whatever the box held. One eye squeezed shut, tongue sticking out in concentration, she slowly levitated it upward for the grand reveal.
“Okay. Mister Box. Now let’s see- what in Celestia's-”
She scrambled back several steps, her eyes wide, as she was met with what could only be described as a rubbery pelt. Held within her magic aura, it was soft, floppy, dangling loosely like a forgotten party balloon.
Lyra yelped and let go when she realized she was holding on to what seemed like its deflated head, empty eye and mouth holes contorted without anything filling them in.
Breathing quickly, Lyra took a moment to gather her wits. No, this was not just some pelt. The interior parts of it were not gross or sticky; they were smooth, soft, appearing almost manufactured in touch.
So, just some kind of Nightmare Night disguise, then? She recalled Pinkie having a few of these… suits to prank friends with. “Silly Pinkie, wanting your good pal Lyra to join in on the fun now, are we?” Lyra said with a sly grin. That explanation made sense. Heck, she was probably hiding somewhere outside with another suit of her own, ready to surprise Lyra.
Well, if that was what Pinkie wanted, then Lyra wouldn't keep her waiting. Walking over to the box, this time she picked it up with her hooves and confirmed its squishy yet rubbery texture. It had a faint sheen to it when caught in the light, glistening with an otherworldly glow. She held the body of the outfit in her hooves—the head, hooves, and tail hung limply along the sides. Lifting each part separately for a closer examination, she noted the strangely curved but now floppy horn, the undeniable green ridges along its snout, the unshorn fur on its hooves, and its big and flowing orange mane.
Lyra giggled lightly as she stretched the suit out, listening to it creak. “Wow Pinkie, this is certainly unique!” Yup, it was a Kirin, all right. Lyra hadn't seen one with her own eyes before, but she'd heard enough stories and seen enough pictures to tell.
She looked toward the bathroom. “Bon Bon, how much longer in there?”
There was the sound of gurgling and spitting. “Five more minutes!”
Lyra grinned deviously. Five minutes would do. If Pinkie wanted to prank her, she’d just have to prank Bon Bon, too. “Now, just how do I get into this thing…” Lyra leaned in closely, looking for a zipper or seam.
As she put her face especially close to that of the Kirin’s, there was a twitch.
Lyra yelped as the suit came to life and immediately lunged toward her. Before she could react, it wrapped itself around her face, then her neck, then torso. She couldn't see clearly what was happening as the still-expressionless head of the disguise pressed itself against her own, but she could feel its flaccid arms snaking down hers, and shivered as they tickled her fur.
Soon, the entire suit had wrapped itself around Lyra. Cursing under her breath, she tried tugging it off, but instead the fabric contorted and stretched and clung on even tighter than before. “Oh no no…”
Now she saw parts of the suit unfolding, opening up, smothering her fur with their rubbery insides. She felt her tail being pushed into that of the Kirin’s, see the Kirin’s empty hind legs wrap around her back hooves and pull themselves over her.
Blinded for a brief moment, she was gagged as the suit's head flung itself over her face, her mouth briefly filled with the taste of rubber as she inhaled the scent of something just a little sharper than pumpkin. When she could gasp and breathe air again, she screamed, “Bonnie! Help!”
Immediately, Bon Bon came barreling out of the bathroom. “Lyra, what's hap- oh sweet Celestia.” Before her lay a surreal sight—though she didn't quite understand what was going on, she could see her wife's face being coated by that of a Kirin's, her flailing hooves struggling to grasp at the empty Kirin ones that threatened to engulf them.
“Bonnie, get me out of this- mmph!” She was briefly gagged again, and Bon Bon came running to her aid. Bon Bon grabbed a loose flap of the suit in her mouth and tried tugging it away, but Lyra came with it, the suit clinging on even tighter to her.
That wouldn't do. Instead, she grabbed a bunch of the Kirin's mane and tried yanking it off Lyra's face, which it had almost completely covered. Though it caused part of its current visage to briefly dislodge from Lyra's, showing parts of her mint green fur and mane beneath, it snapped back just as quickly and Lyra's muffled cries made Bon Bon worried she was hurting the poor mare.
With her options running out, Bon Bon desperately searched the room for anything that could help. Her eyes turned toward the open and unwrapped box nearby. “Lyra, you just had to-” She sprinted over to the box and looked inside. If whatever had attacked her had come from inside it, maybe there'd be a solution in there too.
Instead, panic turned into confusion as she found another pile of cloth sitting at its bottom. Its glossy fur was a darker hue, blending shades of brown and green. She traced her gaze along it until her eyes landed on its empty, unblinking face: the face of another Kirin.
Before she could even blink, it leapt up toward her.
Now, she too was gagged as the Kirin's face smothered her. In her blindness, she could feel the loose, rubbery material snake down her body. It almost felt like the Kirin pelt’s hooves were wrapped around her in a tight hug, and she realized to her embarrassment that the Kirin snout and mouth were pressed tightly against her own in some semblance of a kiss.
Spitting bits of rubber and Kirin fur out of her mouth, she tried tugging away parts of the skin from her body, though part of her feared it would be just as fruitless as it was trying to pull it off Lyra. The suit slotted into place more and more around her, reorienting itself so that instead of hugging her, it was turned around, nearly mounting her, coating her from the top down.
For her part, though Lyra could only see when the Kirin's eye holes lined up with hers, she didn't need to see much to understand what was going on. Stumbling over toward Bon Bon as best she could, she tried pulling Bon Bon’s suit away with her new Kirin hooves, with little success. Now nearly transformed, she could feel the suit's pliable interior squeeze tightly over her entire body, conforming over her every contour.
She gasped. Something thick and phallic had entered her marehood, sliding in easily as if pre-lubricated. She only had a moment to react before another identical object thrust itself into her ass, and she let out a low moan. The double dildos thrust deeply in, and out. In, and out. Lyra felt her vision blur as her newly experienced throes of pleasure, combined with the tight encasement of the suit pressing against her, instantly caused her to overload with lust. Bon Bon, unaware of what was going on underneath Lyra’s suit, could only see her wife writhing on the ground, emitting moans and whimpers through the Kirin's visage. Though she gritted her teeth, her efforts waned as she was hit by euphoric bliss exceeding even her most passionate trysts.
Soon, the room was filled only with the sounds of muffled moaning and the shuffling of stretchy latex pressed against fur. Now, Bon Bon could feel the suit wrap around her tightly as well, shuddering as it squeezed her most sensitive areas. As the movements of both ponies weakened, their frenzied tugs turned into pitiful pawing at their nether regions, then simply just bucking up into the empty air. Freeing themselves from the suits was no longer their priority—they needed release.
They could feel the suits almost completely covering them now. When they moved their hind legs, they could feel the suits’ legs contort along with them. Their manes and tails felt tightly bundled in the suits' much fluffier counterparts. Glancing downward, Lyra could only see a snout of greyish yellow and green, Bon Bon a snout of brown. The Kirin ears, horns, snouts, and mouths all lined up perfectly with theirs, overwhelming them with the strong scent and taste of the latex material.
And just as they felt the suits close up around the last parts of their exposed bodies, the thrusting stopped right as they were both seconds away from orgasm.
For a moment, the only thing both mares could do was lie there and listen to each other's heavy panting. For her part, Lyra was sweaty, disoriented, and still incredibly aroused. She found she could roll over and move easier as the suit no longer grappled over her body. Through blurred vision, she looked over and saw that Bon Bon was experiencing much the same as her, mouth open and chest rising quickly up and down.
“Bonnie, are you-” She gasped and put a hoof to her snout. Was her voice… different? She cleared her throat and tried again. “Bonnie-”
No, she hadn't been mishearing things. She’d sounded lower-pitched, a little more resonant. “Are you okay?”
Bon Bon moaned again in a tone that was decidedly not her own. “I'm fine. Are the suits- did they stop?”
Lyra rubbed at her new shiny coating, listening to it squeak. “Y-yeah, I think so. I don't see them doing anything else.”
Bon Bon flipped herself around and got up shakily, nearly slipping on hooves she was unaccustomed to wearing. “What the- what the heck was all that? And then to have it end right there, just when I was about to-” The word caught on her breath, and she felt heat spread to her cheeks.
“Yeah, I know. Same here,” finished Lyra.
She took in the sight before her. For all terms and purposes, the mare she was talking to was one hundred percent Kirin. Not a single trace of Bon Bon remained: not her appearance, nor voice, nor even eye color. She looked exactly like a Kirin, just one made entirely out of latex.
Bon Bon took a deep breath. “Now that we're not panicking,” she said, “we should try and get ourselves out of these things again.” She walked over to Lyra and placed her hooves on Lyra's shoulders. “Hold still for me, okay?”
Lyra nodded. “Mhm.”
Bon Bon grabbed on to part of the Kirin suit’s mane as best she could. “Okay, Lyra. One, two, three, pull!” She grit her teeth and tried yanking it toward her. For a moment it seemed to be working—Bon Bon felt it slip away from Lyra's hair underneath it, and the tension also caused part of the suit's neck and facial features to peel away from Lyra's and revert back to being floppy exteriors.
But as she pulled, Lyra felt the rest of the suit cling and sensually grip around her even more, both restraining her breath and causing her marehood to wink. “B-Bonnie, I- oh…”
“You're doing great, Lyra,” called Bon Bon. “I think it's working.” But quickly, she realized her plan of creating a wide enough opening and slipping all of Lyra through and out would be a lot harder than she initially thought. Though the suit was stretchy, it still resisted her pull, and her weakened strength wasn't helping, either. Plus, her new latex hooves proved a poor material for grabbing onto things, their slipperiness threatening to make her release at any time.
Maybe she'd have to try a different angle before the suit snapped back too hard and hurt Lyra. Carefully putting the suit back in place, she tried tugging at different points on Lyra. When she tried tugging at the Kirin's hooves, they too came off a bit, but not by much, their ends dangling loosely in front of Lyra's hooves like unworn sleeves. The most success she had was trying to open up the Kirin’s mouth hole and squeezing Lyra's face through it, as if taking off a tight hoodie, but even then Lyra's features clung too tightly to the suit’s to make much progress.
By this point, all this stretching and squeaking was causing Lyra's arousal to rise again, almost to the point of being unbearable. “N-no more,” she gasped, fumbling Bon Bon’s hooves away. “L-let me try for you.”
Bon Bon resigned herself to it, but Lyra's grasp was even weaker than hers. Instead, her hooves squished uselessly against Bon Bon, and every firm press sent tingles of pleasure up her spine. Bon Bon mewed helplessly at the stimulating strokes. “L-Lyra, I don't think it's working. You can stop.”
“N-no, I can do it. Give me another-” She whimpered as Bon Bon tried pushing her away, but only succeeded in squishing Lyra back. “B-Bonnie,” she stammered. “You're-” She pushed back.
As the two mares grappled with each other's new latex bodies, only managing to increase each other's pleasure, lust fogged their minds once more. The room filled with sultry sounds—faint moans intermingled with latex squeaking and stretching against latex. Thoughts of freedom from their suits slipped away, replaced by primal desire. As they engaged in a sloppy kiss, latex lips squeaked together and their dancing tongues savored the sweet taste of rubber. And as pressure built, becoming too much to bear, finally, both mares climaxed, crying out as their juices sprayed across interlocked legs.
Both mares lay there panting, still locked in each other's embrace. After a while, Lyra withdrew and rolled onto her back, still breathing heavily. “That was- that was intense.”
Bon Bon scooted closer and curled up beside her. “You're telling me.” After a moment, she added, “So I guess these suits really wanna stay stuck to us. If we can't take them off, what now?”
Lyra chuckled. “You know, for a moment there, I really felt like I was making love to a real Kirin. I mean-” She traced a hoof through Bon Bon’s new shiny neck fluff. “You really look like the real thing! All of your movements. It didn't look like it was you underneath there at all.”
Bon Bon laughed. “Yeah, same. I mean, and your voice, too. And my voice. We don't sound like us at all. I don't know who made these or where they came from, but this is some seriously insane magic they’ve got.”
“Yeah, pretty crazy stuff.”
Bon Bon chewed her lip, absentmindedly fixating on the mini-squeaks it made as she ran her tongue over it. “So, what do we do now? What happens to our date?”
Lyra put a hoof on her chin. Then, she looked over at Bon Bon seductively. “You know, I’d like to think that our date simply started off a little kinkier than usual. How about we just, like, go outside anyway?”
“You mean, still looking like this?” Bon Bon asked, mortified.
“Yeah, yeah! Ponies around here have seen a lot weirder. And plus”—Lyra dropped her voice, suddenly sounding a lot huskier—“wouldn't it be kind of hot? Nopony knowing we're under here, just seeing a pair of shiny Kirins walking around town, acting as our own perfect little secret disguise? Ooh, maybe Pinkie will even throw us a little welcoming party,” she teased.
“Y-yeah, I guess that does sound pretty hot. You got me.” She paused for a moment. “Ah, I should go clean myself up.”
Lyra smiled. “Sure thing, Bonnie. And don't forget, breakfast is still getting cold.”
“Yep.” Bon Bon gave her one last quick peck on the cheek before leaving to the bathroom once more.
Lyra found herself alone again, and she stared up at the ceiling, passing the time by poking and prodding her suit this way and that. Eventually, she got up and walked over to the dining table, digging into the sweet stack of pancakes. Not long after, Bon Bon came trotting back out.
Except, inexplicably, Bon Bon was fully unsuited.
Back to looking just like her regular self, she beamed and cheerfully waved at the bewildered Lyra. “Hello!”
“I- wait- how- did you get yourself out of the suit?”
Bon Bon cocked her head. “What suit?”
Lyra stared dead-eyed at her. “You know, the Kirin one you were wearing like ten minutes ago.”
Bon Bon giggled. “I'm not sure what you're talking about, Autumn Blaze.”
Autumn Blaze?
For whatever reason, the words made Lyra's suit vibrate in place a little, sending her little tingles of pleasure. But still, she was confused. “Bon Bon, is this a prank? How do I get myself out of this thing?”
“Lyraaa, I'm ready,” a sing-songy voice echoed from the bathroom.
Lyra and Bon Bon both turned and listened to the sound of towel cloth wiping at squeaky latex. “Gee, it sure is weird cleaning this thing.” After a minute, they heard the towel being placed back on the rack, and… the still-Kirin-suited Bon Bon walked out, before stopping in her tracks upon seeing the other Bon Bon. “What is going on.”
“Beats me,” said Lyra. She looked back and forth between the two mares, furrowing her brow. Was she really seeing double? Or was she being caught up in an elaborate prank? Was this another one of Twilight’s spells causing some magical anomaly?
For her part, the Bon Bon sans Kirin suit simply shrugged.
“Bonnie, I'm coming!”
Three heads turned toward a voice that was unmistakably Lyra's. Sure enough, a mare who looked like Lyra in every way walked into the room. “Oh, are we having visitors?”
Lyra could only stammer. “But we're- you’re-”
The Kirin-suited Bon Bon interrupted her. “No, this is our house. Are you guys…us? What is going on?”
The unsuited Lyra scratched her head. “No, we're not you. And, I'm about to go on a date! With my favorite mare in the world,” she said simply. She walked over to the unsuited Bon Bon and wrapped a hoof around her.
Lyra pointed a hoof at her. “H-hey! That's my line! You guys are imposters or something.”
Bon Bon glared daggers at them. “Yeah, they must be changelings. Not cool.” She crouched closer toward the ground, anticipating a fight.
But the two mares didn't so much as advance toward her. Instead, the unsuited Lyra said, “You Kirins are so silly. I don't know what you could be talking about, Autumn Blaze, Cinder Glow.”
Lyra stared even more confusedly at the imposters. “I'm not-”
Before she could let out another word, a sudden burst of kaleidoscopic color filled her vision. It was so sudden, so unexpected that Lyra could do nothing but divert her full focus toward the colorful rings. But instead of tensing up, she felt all her muscles relax as a pleasurable fog invaded her mind. Her eyelids slumped, her jaw slacked, and involuntarily, she let out a silent gasp as she fixated on the pulsing light.
The pattern disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. Rapidly blinking away the stars in her eyes, Lyra looked over at Bon Bon and, from her body language, could see she was undergoing much the same experience.
Though she tried to fully regain her senses, it felt almost like being plunged into a deep pond and trying to find the surface. When she tried to speak, she could only slur her words together: “I'mnotautumnnblaaze.”
The unsuited Bon Bon looked concerned. “Are you okay? You seem confused. And-”
She put a hoof to her face and began to pull.
Lyra could only watch in horror as with a hefty tug, it almost seemed like Bon Bon was pulling her skin away. Small folds rippled throughout her skin as it lost structure, and the part of the cheek she was tugging at stretched clean off her face, dragging the surrounding areas with it. Then, she let go, and her face popped back into place with a snap, hiding any sign anything was off. “And, Lyra's right. I'm really not sure what you're talking about, Autumn Blaze.”
Immediately, the rings of pulsing light appeared again, and though Lyra was more prepared this time around, she still felt herself sag a little. Gritting her teeth, she glared at her supposed duplicate. Realization dawned on her as she watched Lyra reach for her own face with a mischievous smirk, stretching and snapping it back too.
What Lyra had seen was unmistakable.
There were different faces hiding behind their supposed clones. Faces that looked a lot like the ones she and Bon Bon were already wearing.
“Well, it seems like these two Kirins have gotten themselves lost quite far away from home,” said ‘Lyra’, who looked at ‘Bon Bon’. “Don’t you think we should help them out?”
‘Bon Bon’ grinned. “Of course! It wouldn't do to be unhelpful just before our little date. Shall we?”
Shall we what? Lyra didn't like the sound of that, and she wasn't going to sit around and find out. If she was going to act, now would be a good time to do it. She launched toward her counterpart, ready to fight.
But it never came. She was still too sluggish, too disoriented from being mesmerized by those pretty lights. ‘Lyra’ easily swooped around and caught her in her arms, clinging tightly to her latex coating.
Sounds of muffled protesting nearby told her Bon Bon had been caught, too. She squeezed her eyes shut as ‘Lyra’ raised her hoof closer and closer to her face until-
Boop!
Lyra wrinkled her snout at the unexpected touch. Scrunching it this way and that, she nearly laughed at Bon Bon's bewildered expression.
That moment quickly shifted as she noticed Bon Bon's kirin horn igniting with energy, before feeling the same familiar thrum of magic on her own forehead. Though she wasn't controlling the magic at all, she could still feel it tap deeply into her own reserves. Whatever spell was being cast, it was a pretty powerful one. As her horn grew brighter and brighter, she could only swallow and wait for what came next.
The last thing she saw was her doppelganger engaged in a passionate, sensuous kiss with ‘Bon Bon’, eyes squeezed tightly shut as their snouts pressed firmly against each other. Then, everything went white.
