What Does It Feel Like?
Gossamer Gleam has never been very good at socialization, at expressing herself, at managing her emotions. In the wake of her parents' deaths, she doesn't know how to cope with the feeling of loss that lingers in her heart, and there's nopony who can offer her the comfort she needs. Days pass by, and she feels what little color was left drain from her life, sinking into a malaise of emptiness as she continues running a tired routine.
Little does she realize that she will have to contend with far more dire matters as she has already drawn the attention of forces from beyond the scope of Equestria, entities great and terrible who have enigmatic designs in store for her. As her flesh distends and her mind buckles and her loins ache, Gossamer comes to grapple with what it means to live, and to love.
