Nerdy Prudes Must Die (Equestria Girls Parody).
Sci-Twi walked up the bleachers of the gymnasium with a planner held in her hands. A familiar bubbly voice called out out to her.
"Twilight, over here!" Pinkie called out from her seat next to the other Rainbooms.
Twilight pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose and walked over to the group of girls who had become her best friends. They had all been through a lot together, and it was still hard to believe it was almost the end of their Junior year.
Twilight's eyes drifted to a particular girl with fiery red and yellow hair, Sunset Shimmer. Sunset Shimmer was not human, well, not originally. Sunset was actually a unicorn from another world called Equestria. Sunset caught Twilight's gaze.
"Hey, Twi, come take a seat. Principal Celestia's about to make the announcement." Sunset said as she patted the spot on the bleachers next to her.
Twilight subtly blushed. Twilight actually had an attraction towards Sunset for a while now, but she was too afraid to admit it to her, fearing rejection.
"S-sure." Twilight stuttered before she sat down next to Sunset.
The entire gym was filled to the brim with the voices of students as they conversed with each other, although the Rainbooms took notice of the absence of any Freshman students. Then, Principal Celestia walked onstage, followed by her sister, Vice Principal Luna. Celestia tapped a microphone and everyone became quiet.
"Thank you all for coming down here on such short notice. As you all know, every year CHS puts on a stage show, and I am pleased to announce this year's production." Principal Celestia said with a smile.
"I swear, it better not be another romantic comedy." Rainbow Dash quietly groaned and rubbed her forehead.
The last few productions done by CHS had been so borring, at least to Rainbow, that she always tell asleep halfway through.
"Now, I will admit that there was some hesitation from myself to allow this production, but after some...persuasion...I've have decided to allow it. I am pleased to announce that this year's production will be our own casting of the hit Starkid musical, "Nerdy Prudes Must Die." Celestia announced, giving Luna a glance.
There was stunned silence in the gym before the entire present body of students errupted in cheers and applause.
"Finally, something more age appropriate!" Rainbow rejoiced.
Celestia then continued speaking.
"Now, auditions will start being held next week, make sure to sign up. This is going to be out most ambitious production yet. Although I'm sure it doesn't need to be stated, but this production is not appropriate for Freshmen, so they are not allowed to attend." Celestia finished.
The lunch bell rang and the students all began to head to the cafeteria, all of them talking to each other. Later the Rainbooms say at their usual table, talking about the recent announcement.
"OMG, I'm so excited! I mean I know I say that a lot but I mean I'm REALLY excited!" Pinkie said cheerfully.
“Um, are we really sure this play isn’t…too violent?” Fluttershy asked nervously.
“Relax, Flutters. No one’s forcing you to act in it if you don’t want to.” Rainbow Dash said as she put her hand on Fluttershy’s shoulder.
Applejack then chimed in.
“I’m just glad Principal Celestia isn’t letting the Freshmen attend this one. Last thing ah need is Applebloom watching something like this.”
Sci-Twi just sat there awkwardly, quiet as she sat next to Sunset. Sunset’s voice then pulled Twilight back to reality.
“So, Twi, are you gonna try out?” Sunset asked.
Twilight blushed at being addressed.
“Me? In a play…? Uh, I-I don’t know.” Twilight said nervously.
“Oh come now, Twilight, you've been in our band for a while now and your vocal skills are top notch, you could absolutely perform in the play.” Rarity said reassuringly.
Sunset then chimed in.
“I know I’m gonna participate.” Sunset said before she munched on a carrot.
Twilight’s eyes were drawn to Sunset.
“You’re going to try out?”
Sunset nodded.
“Yeah. I’ve never really participated in the other school musicals, mainly because they were all pretty boring.” Sunset said with a shrug.
“Amen to that.” Rainbow Dash and Applejack said simultaneously.
Twilight then gained a look of contemplation as she thought things over. Making up her mind she addressed her friends.
“Okay, I’ll do it.” Twilight said resolutely.
Pinkie started jumping up and down.
“Oh, I know I’ll be trying out too!” Pinkie said excitedly.
“What role are you trying out for, Pinkie?” Fluttershy asked.
Pinkie just giggled.
“It’s a secret, silly.” Pinkie said mischievously.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, students started to get up and leave the cafeteria. Twilight began walking to her next class, her mind racing.
She had never performed in a play before, sure she had sung with the other Rainbooms, but acting, that was something else. But she was willing to give it a shot.
Meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer was writing in her journal to Princess Twilight.
Dear, Princess Twilight. It’s been a while since I last wrote to you. I’m not writing because of any kind of emergency, but this is more of a social call.
Hello, Sunset, it’s good to hear from you. So what exactly are you messaging me about?
So, today it was announced that CHS would be putting on a school play. And I was wondering if you and your friends from our world would be interested in seeing it?
There was a short pause before Princess Twilight replied.
We’ll have to see about that, Sunset. I mean, it could get pretty chaotic what with doubles of the girls being present at the same time.
There was a pause before Princess Twilight kept writing.
What exactly is the production? Is it anything like what we have in Equestria?
Sunset chuckled. She had actually gone and watched the whole musical on YouTube, and she could say for certain that there was absolutely nothing like it in Equestria.

I could use a little help with the casting for the play. I already have characters for the roles of Max Yägerman, Stephane Lauter, and Peter Spankovski, but any ideas for the other cast members, as well as the infamous Lords in Black?
I watched Nerdy Prudes Must Die and I became an instant fan, the musical numbers are phenomenal and the story is great.
