A Saiyan's New Quest! Departing for the Unknown!
Load Full StoryNext ChapterIn the large expanse that is universe 7, we find ourselves on planet Earth, home to some of the universe's greatest warriors. At Capsule Corporation, there was a large event going on. here was a Saiyan warrior readying himself to be sent off to an Unknown world, by the request of a creation of Bulma. His name was Cyre.
Cyre was created through DNA combination. The DNA of the Saiyans on Earth, Majin Buu, and Frieza were all floating around inside of him. He was grown in a tank by Bulma, basing his design off of Dr. Gero’s “Cell”, though she had improved the design by far. She had started the experiment on her own time after the Universe 6 tournament, after seeing just how powerful the other universes could potentially be. With this in mind, she gathered the DNA of all of Earth's fighters and began the research and development phase. The DNA was composed of all the z fighters, along with Majin Buu, King Cold, and Frieza, but had all the evil parts removed for obvious reasons. When the tournament of power was coming, Bulma had revealed the fruits of her research, with a young child developing in the incubation tank in her lab. Due to the dire need for fighters, the research was then accelerated by the Dragonballs, which made him a fully grown adult and promptly taken out of the holding tank. Even from just being born essentially, he was quite powerful and he could easily defeat most of the Z fighters with no trouble at all. Even better, he was taken to the hyperbolic time chamber, where he trained with Goku and Whis for the entire day before the tournament to help him get acclimated and get as strong as possible. The training for Cyre was quite productive, as he managed to unlock and master super saiyan in that short period. He replaced Frieza for the 10th spot in the tournament of power. Cyre lasted in the tournament for quite a long time, being knocked out of the ring by Toppo when he achieved his god of destruction mode. Cyre even managed to unlock Super Saiyan 2 during that time out of pure desperation, but it meant nothing as Toppo was just far too strong for Cyre to handle. He watched the rest of the tournament and cheered Goku on as he managed to finish off Jiren before Ultra Instinct destroyed his body this time. After the tournament, they went home and Cyre was formally introduced to all the Z fighters, most of which welcomed him with open arms.
Three long years had passed since then for the warriors of Earth. Cyre ultimately began to progress in his training, and he mastered Super Saiyan 2 after a year of rigorous training before he was ultimately sent to Lord Beerus' planet to be trained to use god ki. The other 2 years were spent mostly on this endeavor, and it proved useful. Cyre very recently unlocked Super Saiyan God, but it was so new to him that he couldn't hold the form for more than a minute at current. Fortunately and unfortunately, his power wasn't needed at this point, as there was hardly any conflict left in the universe after the tournament. And naturally being a Saiyan at heart, it didn't sit well. Eventually, he began to realize, that other than Lord Berrus' world and the tournament, he had never traveled throughout the cosmos.
So, with the idea in mind, Cyre took briefs capsule ship and asked Bulma to give him randomized coordinates to see where it would lead him. In preparation, Bulma gave him a full box of capsules that would help him in this new world. That led up to now, with him saying his goodbyes to his newfound family on Earth as he prepared for the journey of a lifetime.
Cyre waved his friends and family goodbye as he stepped onto the ship. sitting in the pilot's seat, he did a quick preflight check before entering the randomized coordinates. The spacecraft, adorned with the Capsule Corporation logo, gleams under the bright midday sun. Its engines roared to life before it quickly took off at blistering speeds. As it climbs higher, the bright blue sky gradually fades to a deep indigo, speckled with stars. The curvature of the Earth becomes visible below, with continents and oceans stretching out in a breathtaking panorama. Breaking free from the Earth’s atmosphere, the spaceship enters the vast expanse of space. The roar of the engines subsides, replaced by the serene silence of the cosmos. The ship’s navigation lights blink methodically, and its sleek form glides effortlessly against the backdrop of infinite darkness, dotted with distant stars and galaxies. Inside, Cyre prepares for the journey ahead, his eyes fixed on the uncharted frontiers that lie before them. The Capsule Corporation spaceship, a symbol of human ingenuity and exploration, embarks on its voyage into the unknown, leaving the familiar world of Earth behind. Cyre decided not to train on the first day. He just wanted to clear his mind and relax, while he imagined what he would find waiting for him on this unknown planet...
Ponyville, One Month after Cyre departed from Earth. 7:30 PM.
As the sun begins its descent behind the rolling hills of Ponyville, the sky is painted in a breathtaking palette of oranges, pinks, and purples. The warm, golden light casts a soft glow over the quaint town, illuminating the thatched-roof cottages and cobblestone streets with a magical ambiance. Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy stroll through the peaceful town of Ponyville, their conversation filled with gentle laughter and friendly exchanges. Twilight's purple coat and Fluttershy's pastel yellow fur catch the last rays of sunlight, creating a beautiful contrast against the vibrant sky.
Shops are closing for the evening, and ponies are finishing up their day’s activities. The streets are bustling with the cheerful sounds of friends bidding each other goodnight, and the distant melody of birds returning to their nests. The air is filled with the scent of freshly baked goods from Sugarcube Corner and the earthy aroma of blooming flowers from the local gardens.
As they walk, Twilight continues her discussion with Fluttershy, who listens intently, her kind eyes reflecting the soft twilight. The gentle breeze rustles through the leaves of the trees lining the streets, adding a soothing background to their conversation.
"So anyway, I'm just not sure what to do with Angel. He's a really sweet bunny, I swear! But he just tends to be... mischievous. I really don't know what I should do." Fluttershy stated, a harrowing feature plastered on her expression.
"I think you may need to punish him, Fluttershy. He needs to learn that kicking main stallions in the shins for walking up to your door isn't right. Nor is it a pleasant experience." Twilight suggests. Fluttershy's eyes widened, no longer paying attention to the ground as she had earlier.
It had been a month since the events of the season 5 finale and peace had set in for the time being, and Twilight was taking it all in stride. The iconic silhouette of Twilight’s castle shimmers in the distance, its crystal facets catching the last of the sunlight. The setting sun casts long shadows, and as the sky deepens into twilight, the first stars begin to twinkle overhead, adding a touch of enchantment to the evening.
Together, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy enjoy the serene beauty of Ponyville at sunset as the two continue to talk.
"Oh I-I can't do that to Angel, h-he was just protecting me! and I've already used the stareon him, but it-" she cuts off.
BOOM!!!
Twilight's ears perked up, getting into a defensive position with her eyes scanning all around her, as Fluttershy yelped and hid behind her friend. She doesn't do well with loud noises that aren't related to her animals. And apparently, neither does all of Ponyville, as evidenced by the screams of terror filling Fluttershy's ears. Along with her own. Looking up in the sky, they saw a strange spherical object in the sky, racing past Ponyville as a sonic boom occurred. Twilight's eyes fixated solely on the ship as it slowed down at watched as it seemed to land near the edge of The Everfree Forest, on the outskirts of Ponyville.
"Fluttershy, stay here. I'm gonna go check out what that was, I'll be right back." Twilight sparks her horn, preparing for a basic teleportation spell. Her concentration is broken when she feels pressure on her withers.
"I won't leave you alone, Twilight. We're friends, and if whatever that thing is happens to be due to a creature of any sort, I'd like to be there to help." Fluttershy stated the determination in her eyes. Her friends need her to be more courageous in the face of fear, and this would be the perfect time to learn to control it. Or not.
Twilight nods, and in a flash of purple and white, they've disappeared.
A blotch of sparkling colors appears, and the two mares are now set in a familiar setting. Twilight and Fluttershy stare straight forward, and a few feet away, the spaceship sits there in front of them. Fluttershy can feel her heart race. Why did she agree to this? What if there's a scary monster in it that can't be tamed? What if it tries to hurt her? What if...
...No. No no, she can't think like that. It's thoughts like those that always fuel her fear of the unknown. She came here to conquer her terror, and by Faust, she will. For her friend's sake, and her own.
With newfound determination shining brightly in her eyes, Fluttershy trots ever so faster toward the odd white ball. Twilight wonders why Fluttershy suddenly insists on rushing but catches up with her pace anyway. They stop, now merely feet away from the cause of the disturbance.
"What do you think it is?" Asks Fluttershy, stepping forward a bit to see if there's anything inside the clear glass on the front door of the object.
"It looks kind of like a jawbreaker. However, it's got a rounded slit, so I'm going to assume this is some sort of pop-"
Her words die in her throat as they watch as the door descends. Fluttershy's heart sinks, taken aback by the sudden movement as she jumps back and catches her breath. Something's inside. It slides out, appearing to be a creature that looked like nothing that they'd ever seen before.
"Fluttershy, get back!" Twilight exclaims, not noticing her outburst caused the creature to look down at her. Fluttershy looks back at Twilight and looks up. it's staring directly at her. She shrieks and jumps back. Its eyes staring right at her. They're locked in eyesight until their lips move.
"Where am I?" Cyre asked. He was staring at a butter-yellow pony staring right back at him. It was the weirdest thing he had ever seen! "Who are you?" The mysterious pony answered his question, much to Cyre's surprise. Not only were they ponies, but they could talk, as well!
"Oh, um, my name, is Fluttershy."
Cyre stopped and realized he was having a conversation with a pony. "Wait...ugh this is messing with my head. So you're...a pony? Or something? By the way, my name is Cyre".
"Yes, a pegasus to be exact. " Fluttershy walked over spread her wings out and took flight for a moment.
"Whoa, that's cool...I can fly to you know..."
"Y..you can fly? But you don't have wings?" Fluttershy grew wild with confusion.
"Oh well..uh...it's complicated. Maybe I'll explain it sometime."
Fluttershy smiled at Cyre, she was quickly beginning to like this mysterious creature. "Don't worry you guys, he's friendly!"
"How could you tell it's a he?" She questioned.
"He resembles a monkey, just without all the hair. I'm just making an assumption based on monkeys I've seen before since I've gotten used to differentiating genders."
Twilight nods. "What should we do with it- er, him?"
Fluttershy ponders. "We can take him back to my home, I think he just needs some rest." Cyre yawned in agreement with that statement.
"Yeah, if you do have a place for me to stay, it would be most appreciated." He walked back to his ship put it into capsule form, and placed it in his pocket.
Suddenly, it dawned on Twilight. This is an extraterrestrial being Fluttershy is currently talking to. One of which all ponykind has never discovered before. It wears clothing, and it appears to be trying to befriend Fluttershy, so it must be a sapient creature. The possibilities!
If this is true, there are so many things she could ask about it! What is its culture like? What does it eat? Where is it from? Why does it have hair protruding from its head like a mane, but not everywhere else?
"Ehm... Twilight?" Fluttershy states.
How many of them are there? Did they descend from monkeys? How do the sun and moon work for them? Heck, do they even have a sun and moon? Are all of his kind this buff?
"Twilight?"
On the other hoof, they may also be dangerous, and she may need to strain caution. How did this pod work? It could be some serious magic, implying that this creature may be rather proficient at spellcasting. But without a horn to cast spells? How did it-
"Twilight!"
Twilight is jolted out of her thoughts at Fluttershy's yell.
"S-Sorry, but we need to get going. I-If you don't mind, could you maybe teleport us?" She asks. Twilight pushes her thoughts aside for later, focusing on the task at hoof. This is no time to get lost in thought, she's got a duty to uphold. The three stood close to each other as they all teleported to Fluttershy's cottage. Where Cyre would spend the night sleeping on Fluttershy's couch. It was surreal for all parties involved, but all would be answered the following day...
