The Savage Saiyan! Meeting Broly on Planet Vampa!

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

In the magical land of Equestria, a time of peace had reigned under the protection of the Elements of Harmony and their wielders, the Mane 6, for the past few months after Starlight's redemption. Cyre was actually in Canterlot that day, as both Celestia and Luna had requested an audience. The three of them were in the throne room, having a discussion.

“Welcome, Cyre,” Celestia said, her voice calm and graceful. “We are grateful for your presence here today.”

“Thank you, Princess Celestia. Princess Luna,” Cyre replied with a respectful bow. “I understand you wish to discuss the safety of Equestria.”

Luna nodded, her expression serious. “Indeed, Cyre. While our land has been protected by the Elements of Harmony and our loyal subjects, recent events have shown us that threats can come from places we least expect. An assault on the timeline, and even nearly losing an entire city to snow. We seek your guidance in finding warriors who can stand alongside us.”

Celestia continued, “We have seen your strength and courage. You understand the importance of protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Equestria needs more warriors like you.”

Cyre, thoughtful, looked at the two princesses. “Equestria is a land of peace and harmony, but you’re right. The threats you face are growing more dangerous. A lot of fighters are on Earth, quite strong actually. A few are even stronger than me currently."

Luna’s eyes sparkled with determination. “We are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of our subjects. Tell us more about these warriors.”

Cyre began to explain, “There are many strong fighters out there. Some are Saiyans like myself, known for their immense strength and combat skills. Others come from different backgrounds and possess unique abilities. but I'm doubtful that any of them have time to come here for long periods, so that's not reliable. There may be some warriors who possess great power and unwavering resolve, but they are scattered across the universe. Finding them won’t be easy. To bring them here, we need to offer them a purpose, a reason to fight.”

Celestia leaned forward, her eyes full of hope. “And what would that purpose be, Cyre?”

“Equestria is a place worth protecting,” Cyre said. “Its beauty, its harmony, and the bonds of friendship that hold it together are rare in the universe. If we can show these warriors the value of what they are defending, they will be more than willing to help.”

Luna glanced at her sister, then back at Cyre. “We trust you, Cyre. If you believe that you can find these warriors and bring them to Equestria, we will support you in every way possible.”

Celestia added, “Our resources are at your disposal. Use our magical artifacts, our knowledge, and our allies to aid you in your quest.”

Cyre felt a swell of resolve within him. “Very well. I will embark on this journey and seek out the strongest warriors who can help protect Equestria. But remember, their strength is only as great as the bonds they form with those they protect. Friendship and unity will be our greatest weapons. However, I don't think I'll need your artifacts. I'll start on my search alone first."

The princesses nodded in agreement, their hearts filled with optimism. “Go with our blessings, Cyre,” Celestia said. “May your journey be swift and successful.”

As Cyre departed the throne room, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. With the support of the princesses and the promise of finding new allies, he was determined to ensure that Equestria would remain a land of peace and harmony, protected by the strongest warriors the universe had ever seen.

Cyre, with his experience and knowledge of the universe, stepped out of Canterlot and flew back to Ponyville to his ship. His mission was clear: to find powerful warriors who could defend Equestria against any impending danger. Cyre decided he could use the instant transmission to sense any powerful energies. Putting two fingers to his face, he concentrated intensely as he searched and searched for any strong power that wasn't on Earth, but it was very difficult. He searched for hours in the privacy of his ship and he seemingly couldn't find anything. He was about to simply give up when he sensed a faint energy reading. He focused and locked on immediately before he put the capsule ship in his pocket before he teleported away.

Cyre rematerialized on the surface of a desolate planet called Vampa. Descending onto the rough, barren surface of Vampa, Cyre surveyed the inhospitable terrain. The sky was a permanent shade of green, and the ground was littered with rocky outcrops and dangerous creatures. As he ventured deeper into the planet's wilderness, he came across signs of habitation—a crude shelter and remnants of past battles.

It was there that he encountered Broly and his father, Paragus. Broly, a towering figure with immense power, was unlike any warrior Cyre had seen before. His aura alone radiated raw strength and untamed energy. Paragus, older and weary, looked to Cyre and ran over to him, and fell to his knees in front of him due to old age.

"Another Saiyan… I never thought somebody would come at this point. Please… Please tell me you're here to save us!" Paragus was begging and further explaining their plight and their exile to this harsh world at the hands of King Vegeta.

Cyre, recognizing the potential within Broly, approached them with caution. He spoke of Equestria, a land that needed protectors, and offered them a chance at a new life. Paragus, driven by a desire for a better future for his son, along with finally escaping Vampa, was intrigued by the prospect. Broly, while reserved and cautious, was curious about the world beyond his isolated existence.

Cyre demonstrated his own super saiyan power, showcasing the potential that lay in working together. Broly, inspired by the display, agreed to join him. Paragus, hopeful for a fresh start, consented as well. Cyre decided it was best to not mention Vegeta was on Earth right now, in order to further get them to cooperate.

With the agreement made, Cyre activated his spaceship's transport system, and the three Saiyans left Vampa behind. Using the coordinates in the Spaceship, he discovered that it would take a week to get back to Equestria. As they traveled through the stars, Cyre began training Broly, helping him to harness his immense power and control his rage. In one of their battles, they were gravity training at X20. Cyre was fighting Broly at Super Saiyan 2, while Broly was starting to unleash more of his latent potential. He eventually unlocked his Ikari form, which sent Cyre into a defensive mode. Broly was now far stronger than he anticipated or sensed. If he didn't stop him quickly, the ship would be destroyed. Using an afterimage, he fooled Broly as he teleported behind him and briefly went Super Saiyan God to deliver a swift chop to the back of Broly's neck, knocking him out before he got too powerful. That was far too close of a call…

Upon their arrival in Equestria, Princess Celestia and the Mane 6 welcomed Broly and Paragus. The presence of these new warriors brought a renewed sense of security to the land. Broly, under the guidance of Cyre and the friendship of the ponies, began to understand the importance of protecting others and found a sense of belonging he had never known. Paragus, who was far too old to fight at this point, was simply given a place to stay in the royal palace in Canterlot, which he was most thankful for.

Pinkie was the first of the mane 6 that Broly had met, and she challenged Broly to a cupcake eating contest, and she of course, once again, lost.

Rarity was next, and she was utterly shocked at the condition of his clothing. She wanted to remove the green fur wrapped around Broly's waist, but he made it very clear that he would never budge about it as he angrily made Rarity back off. It was all he had left of his first friend after all. Rarity was still committed to making new clothing for him though.

Fluttershy was the third to meet him, and not much was said between the two. They got along really well though. Cyre found that Broly really seemed to like nature and animals the same way Fluttershy seemed to like them. This gave Cyre the idea he needed to help Broly control his power. He reminded Broly that each time he was about to lose control, to look what he was doing to the world around him, destroying everything he loved. Cyre emphasized that the planet was not his enemy, only the opponent. This helped Broly immensely, as he managed to calm down more and more as his power began to steadily increase. When he wasn't training, Broly would likely be at Fluttershy's cottage, offering his assistance.

Rainbow Dash met Broly next. She found Broly to be an overly strong but silent individual, but she didn't really mind that. She got to show off her stunts to him regardless of that, and Broky did at least find it somewhat interesting.

Applejack initially wanted Broly to work on the farm after seeing how strong he looked, but that discussion died when Broly pitched a tree so hard it was sent flying. Broly did apologize and Applejack sighed. She still made a good relationship with Broly despite what happened.

Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer met with him last. Twilight asked many questions about his abilities and what little culture he knew of Saiyans while welcoming him to stay at the Crystal Castle, the same as she had offered to Cyre. Starlight and Broly didn't have much to say to each other, so they stayed acquaintances at this point. Spike managed to Hit it off, showing Broly some of his comics. he accidentally tore one of the pages though.

Cyre and Broly, now together, stood ready to face any threat that dared challenge the peace of Equestria, with Broly's immense power becoming a cornerstone of the world's defense. And so, a new chapter began, with old and new allies united in the quest to protect their home.
