Izzy and Pipp were inside the salon, the former showing the latter something she found in the salon’s backroom.

”Ta-da!” Izzy cried out in joy. Pointing at a green object poking out the ground. Decorated with stickers and glitter. There was a big hole in the middle, leading down, like a pipe of some sort. But much bigger.

”Izzy!?” Cried Pipp as Jazz and Rocky walked in, wondering what the shouting was about. Or maybe they were more curious in what Izzy wanted to show her. “What is this… Thing! Doing in my salon?!”

“Dunno… It just popped up!” Izzy exclaimed and puased. “You think something might be in it? It is a bit weird, isn’t it she asked. Taking a peak inside as she rested her hooves against the rim. The pipe almost instantly started sucking in air, Izzy getting caught and pulled in. She screamed out loud.

”Izzy!” Cried Pipp, grabbing her, Jazz and Rocky running over to help. But the three of them weren’t enough! Their attempts were proved useless against the power of the pipe. All four ponies being sucked inside, the pipe lowering down and disappearing into the ground below like magic. No trace.

Mario and Luigi were happily on a morning stroll in the woods. Then suddenly there was a noise of an appearing pipe and three beings screaming as they fell out of it onto the ground.

”What was that!?” Luigi exclaimed in worry

”We should have a look!” Mario exclaimed.

There was also a sound of one of the launch stars and then a crashing the same direction of the pipe sound. Alerting the bros even more. Had something crashed?

Mario and Luigi rushed over with concern and gasped as they saw everyone. Four creatures, each with hooves and legs like a pony. But with the heads of… Uh… Some strange looking ponies, with small muzzles and eyebrows…

Jazz groaned as she got up, “What just happened?”

”Everyone okay?” Rocky asked. As he looked around, dusting off his coat.

”My mane has leaves in it!” Pipp cried, quickly pulling them out.

Jazz looked at the mushrooms in her surroundings, “Huh? That’s weird, we were just at Mane Melody a minute ago...” she paused. “Did that pipe take us here? But why?”

”Yeah... what on earth is this place...?” Rocky asked.

”E-excuse me...” Luigi exclaimed. Pausing as he noticed ruffling in a nearby tree. Seems that’s where the one shot from the launch star landed.

What looked like a human was in a tree. Luckily, he safely climbed out of it seemingly unharmed. Landing on the ground right near the group just before getting up, a red little star floated around him. The bros noticed it resembled blue gravity stars that they saw during Mario’s first adventure in the galaxies, where he met Rosalina.

“Are you guys-a all right?” Mario looked around, wondering what he was looking at. Okay, maybe the human was normal. But where these guys meant to be horses, or a completely different species with hooves? What odd head shapes for horses.

”I dunno... where are we?” Jazz asked

”We were in Mane Melody... Then this pipe-looking thing appeared and well...” Rocky explained, “It appeared at such a time that Izzy found it then we were sucked right into it...”

Mario thought for a bit, “Mane-a Melody? I don’t recognise that-a place! You must be very far from-a home!”

”Well...” Jazz explained, “Seems we are because Mane Melody is in Maretine Bay! It’s pretty popular so you’d recognise if Maretine Bay was close...”

Pipp cried out in dispair, “How are we gonna get back home!?”

The un-introduced human looked around before asking a question. "So, does this place have science as a thing, normal?" He asked, somewhat ignoring the situation.

“I guess so?” Luigi explained, “A scientist did help me once...” He said. Answering him before looking back at the confused ponies. Well, three of the four looked confused. The unicorn was simply looking around with awe.

Rocky explained, “I’m Rocky, this is Pipp and that’s Izzy and that’s Jazz! What’s your names?”

”Mario and Luigi! The Mario bros!”

Mario looked up for the pipe they came out from. Pipp was trying to fly back through it, but no success as she could not find it. “It seems-a the pipe you came out either deactivated or had a spell of some kind... I know-a who might help!”

”I hate when pipes get blocked by magic…” Luigi added
.
"Hmm..." the human thought to himself as he tried getting to the pipe. With no success as he could not see it at all. So it was not hidden as he thought.

Perhaps was a force field stopping him from getting to that exact spot where the ponies thought the pipe was in the wall. Weird.

“Oh please help!” Pipp cried out, “I need to get back!”

"We can!" Luigi said with joy.

”Follow us!” Mario exclaimed. Gesturing with his hands for the ponies to follow.

”So this place has a name?” Jazz asked as she walked, admiring the tall mushrooms

”The Mushroom Kingdom!” Mario answered happily

"Explains why it smells like spores and manure"

“Well…that's interesting.” Izzy said, humming to herself as she looked at a mushroom closely, poking it with her hoof. When she did it bounced as she did. A grin appeared on her face, growing wider and wider.

“You kinda get used to it,” Luigi explained

“Gross...” Pipp said quietly

“Heh, I find it... interesting, I never thought I’d see such large mushrooms!” Rocky exclaimed

"Yeah, how is that possible?" The human asked, yet to introduce himself.

Mario chuckled a bit, “We get that a lot from first-timers here...”

Soon they were on a high enough hill enough to stand on one of the tall mushrooms. They came in many colours, red seemingly being the most common. Mario and Luigi jumped on one, bouncing around slightly. “C’mon, it’s safe!” Mario encouraged the others.

”I like going this way,” Luigi smiled, bouncing across the mushrooms.

Pipp jumped on one, “Wow! Bouncy!”

Izzy and Jazz were soon enough laughing as they raced each other, bouncing across the large range of mushrooms that looked as if it went for miles. Rocky seemingly joined in, with a worried look on his face as each one bounced him high in the air. “Wait for me!” He cried. "Calm down!" He cried out, "This is not the time for this!"

"Hmm, I know you guys have Bro Actions that you know you can use?" The human, named Ethan asked.

“Yeah?!”

"Absolutely?"

The bros responded as they bounced along the high mushrooms a little behind the ponies, towards the town. Watching as Rocky pulled Jazz to a stop so she wasn't going for fast. Leaving Izzy to speed away, bouncing happily.

"If Izzy can race across the shroom laughing, why can't I?" She asked.

Ethan simply follow along by just using that star that accompanied him as a hoverboard. It had changed to resemble a long board with stars flying out the back as he just hovered down past the mushrooms as everyone bounced along them.

After a while they managed to make it to the front gates of Toad Town. Pipp read a sign, “a Welcome to toad town?” She questioned, “Toads!” Like those big lumpy frogs?” She asked

”Huh, expected it to be more swampy...” Rocky noted

The bros looked at each other and smiled, “I can understand the confusion but... not those kind of toads,”

”Then wha- woah...” Jazz exclaimed as they entered the town and saw toads walking around, minding their own business.

”Walking, talking mushrooms?” Rocky whispered.

“They are so adorable!” Izzy squealed running to go to speak to one but frightened it. Sending it running into a nearby shop. Since it was not expecting something like Izzy to dash at it like a raging bull.

"Toadstools actually, type of mushroom." Ethan guessed.

Mario and Luigi happily walked, “This way!” Izzy happily followed. Looking at her surroundings with a huge grin. Like a child who was at their first time in a toy shop or something.

The three ponies followed happily, “What a pleasant looking village...” Jazz smiled, trying to take her mind off the concerns they had.

Rocky explained, “Since our kind isn’t around here, I thought we’d be getting stared at by more toads...”

"Nah, bet they are used to seeing weird things, I saw little brown mushroom things and turtles creatures while on the way here." Ethan explained. The star had also seemingly transformed into a small purple mouse made of energy. It sad on his shoulder as he walked with the group.

“Yeah,” Mario agreed, “We go on lots of adventures being beings from other lands and words, so they’re used to it by now,”

“Plus, we get lots of visitors from all over.” Luigi added.

The group kept walking a bit before approaching a collection of pipes, most were coloured, with the name of locations on them but a few were clear.

“Oh no... not more pipes...” Pipp groaned in distress. Feeling absolutely out of it. She hated the idea of going close to something that put them in this mess in the first place.

”It’s the quickest way to the castle,” Mario informed them

”And we do want to get home as soon as possible, right?” Rocky asked Pipp who sighed and groaned as he spoke.

“Yes I do...”

"Pipes aren't all that bad. Hey, they each have a determined route, right?" Ethan added.

Mario and Luigi went in first. The ponies went in next, all screaming at the speed as they weren’t used to it yet. As they flopped out Pipp looked at Mario as Izzy, Rocky ansd Jazz piled on each other, “A warning would have been nice...” She muttered.

“Sorry!” Apologised.

Ethan easily slid through the same pipe and burst through the top flawlessly. Once out he stood there normally, the mouse made of energy flew past, transforming into a yellow bird of energy instead.

They went up to the gates where two guards were standing. Pipp making sure her mane was intact as they walked. Soon getting distracted by Izzy’s delighted squeal.

”They have a castle!” She exclaimed with a big smile.

"Huh?” One of the guards noted, “Another adventure? Or are they visitors from another kingdom?” Jazz admired their cute guard helmets and their adorable faces as they tried looking tough. Holding a spear that looked like it could hardly damage a turtle shell.

”Aw my. They are adorable…” Jazz smiled, nudging Rocky as he smirked a bit.

The other guard interrupted, “Because the pink one looks like she could be a princess!”

The guard groaned, “Sure Peach wears pink all the time and the queen of all Yoshi is pink! But that doesn’t mean a pink pony walking towards us wearing a tiara means she’s a princess!”

Pipp started at them, about to correct them as Jazz, Izzy and Rocky smiled at the irony. The energy bird landed and morphed into a copy of Pipp, it had solid white parts in it to keep it stable

“I am a Princess!” Pipp exclaimed loudly

”Woah! Pipp! Calm down!” Rocky calmed her down, “They couldn’t have known...”

”Yeah. She is an adorable, fluffy princess.” Izzy smiled at the guards, patting her on the head.

”Alright... let’s just meet Peach and get home...” Ethan added.

The guards let everyone the castle area once they knew no one was a threat. It was a lovely hill (Mario Odyssey’s castle. But bigger, more impressive with many more rooms.)

”It’s gorgeous!” Pipp explained as she took photos. Another toad guard looking on with disapproval and sighed.

"Yep-"

The group happily made it up the hill and went inside where Peach was talking to Toadette.

”Peach!” Mario exclaimed.

”Oh! Mario!” Peach waved after she had finished her sentence.

Ethan just stood by a pillar, thinking about something as the energy bird formed to look like Peach.

Mario explained the ponies were blasted here and lost sight of their pipe that seemingly vanished. By magic or deactivated, it had a hoof pattern on it.

“Oh!” Luigi exclaimed. “I actually think I saw a pipe in a cloud just after they made that noise, that might have been it!” He explained, remembering a detail he overlooked. ‘The cloud flew in the direction of the castle.”

Mario asked Peach if she saw it which she hadn’t, so they decide to go onto the high balcony to have a look. The ponies followed.

”What a gorgeous castle!” Jazz complimented.

”Mine is so much better.” Pipp smiled, “But this is nice.”

Ethan had mostly just explored the castle away from the group, looking for some freezer room under the castle. Departing from the rest of them.

"Imagine living here!" Izzy exclaimed.

"Well yeah, living in a palace is gorgeous!" Pipp added.

"Yeah, I imagine, having ponies guard you at every corner and you don't have to do everything yourself?" Jazz said with a smile.

"Eh..." Pipp looked at Jazz then shrugged.

While in the room with the balcony. Mario and Luigi exited the room to go get something Peach asked for. Which was a huge mistake!

Soon Ethan heard Peach screaming, soon seeing the the bros hurrying back to the room the balcony was in.

Unfortunately Mario and Luigi came too late! Jazz was flopped against the cupboards as the airship was high in the sky. Izzy was uh… Making something in the corner… With an old cannon. Rocky was already flying towards it as fast as he could. Yelping has he barely dodged cannon balls. He knew he was no fighter, but he could not stand there!

The energy creature raced at the ship angrily, morphing into a shark, Ethan rushed up quickly after hearing cannons fire

Rocky flew towards the cage Pipp and Peach were in, but Bowser fired at him. “Yikes!” He yelped, feeling the heat.

”Where do you think you’re going!?” He roared. Swiping at Rocky.

Ethan growled as he grabbed his staff, staring at the jerk. "Mario, Luigi, you still have your hammers from Beanbean?"

They nod. Wondering how he knew that. But going with it. Perhaps he was in Beanbean at some point and watched a few of their battles, or were friends with someone who knew them.

Rocky watches as Bowser grabs at him, so he punts him in the nose. “Sorry!” He exclaimed as he roared. Thinking fast, he then flew circles around him, making him dizzy enough to fall over.

Rocky raced to the cage and looked at the locks.

”Rocky!” Pipp warned. Just in time for him to duck a shell. “Yeesh! we really have to fight!?” He shouted before noticing the group of goomba and koopa looking at him angrily.

"Use a bro move that turns me into a ball and launch me!" Ethan demanded. Izzy setting up a cannon of her own. Shooting out a huge glitter bomb that hit Bowser, knowing nim to the ground. But a cannonball smashed her cannon quickly, making it explode and throwing her back. The bros did what they were asked, blasting him at the group of goomba, taking most of them out. Rocky tried unlocking the lock with a pick.

”Hurry!” Pipp begged

“I’m trying!” He cried.

I spin, using my staff to stir up a whirlwind that could launch them at Bowser "Now spin!"

Bowser suddenly grabbed Rocky aggressively. “Ack!”

”You think that cheap tactic is enough to stop me!?”

“I’d hoped so!” Rocky cried out, his heart racing.

I growl and shoot my staff out, the end stretching like a grappling hook as it just barely grabbed a railing on Bowser's ship.

”Ugh! Let them go!” Rocky cried.

Bowser chuckled “That’s not all I can do, if you wish for more...”

Ethan was quick to smack Bowser right on the head as hard as he could. Shouting as he did so. "STOP WITH THE BRAINWASHING YOU OVERGROWN TURTLE-"

Ugh!” Bowser grunted, letting Rocky go before swiping at him, “Does this look brainwashing to you!?” He roared.

Kamek appeared out of nowhere and blasted you with a very strong blast of magic

Rocky got up and hurried to grab some rope. He flew around and around Bowser with the rope, failing to tie him up like he wanted to. Bowser easily scoffed at the loose rope and violently yanked Rocky out of the air by his wing.

”Ooow!” Rocky exclaimed in pain, shouting loudly than he did in a very long time. Screaming loudly as Bowser slammed him against the ground by his wing. The sudden pull and crushed felt as if he pulled his wing right off him, but he hadn't, thankfully.

”Rocky!” Pipp cried as she tried reaching for him. Hoping he was okay. But he wasn't.

Ethan had found himself falling back, wincing ss he dropped his staff. The long staff landed right by Bowser's feet.

He crushed it accidentally as he walked over to the edge, still holding Rocky by his wings. He ignored Rocky's cries and whimpers of pain as a few tears appeared in his eyes. He was used to handling bad minions by their wings, so this was nothing new.

“Hmmph,” He scoffed, “Pathetic” he threw Rocky by his wing onto the plank, crushing down on it harder with his claw. “Any last words?!”

Rocky could hardly speak as he whimpered, looking at his crushed wing. His poor, poor wings. He couldn't help the tears in his eyes as he looked at the baddie.

Pipp cried out in horror as Rocky groaned in pain. “Why are you like this, anyway? Why can’t you just get along?” He got up, his wing was clearly broken as he winced in pain as he tried moving it. “You don’t have to do this!” He grunted before being kicked off the plank by Bowser as hard as he could.

He and Pipp screamed in terror and pain as Rocky fell to his doom, unable to fly. On top of that a shell was blasted from the cannon, slamming into him.

Luckily Yoshi was able to catch him on his back and flutter jump to the ground slowly. The ship flew away as Jazz, Izzy and the bros rushed to Rocky. Jazz was crying “Rocky!”

Rocky was injured but still alive. Yoshi looked at him sadly, nudging him slightly as his eyes welled up. His breathing was rapid as Izzy looked over him for injuries. He could not speak, he was in too much pain.

Ethan got up angrily, picking up the remains of his staff "...you made a big mistake reptile.." he storted as he ran towards Bowser. Planning to grab his tail. But Kamek threw Ethan over board using his wand magic. As the ship flew away before he could.

”Rocky!” Jazz was crying as she stood in front of him. She shook a bit. His wing was limp, “Your wing!” Tears were going down her cheeks.

”Did he hurt you anywhere else?” Izzy asked. Bummed her plan did not work. But even more heartbroken one of her friends got hurt and the other one taken.

”I-I’m fine! Really, I am...” Rocky was a bit dizzy, “I-“ He then collapsed, losing conscious. He had passed out

”Rocky!” Jazz screamed

”Jazz!” Izzy got her attention as she put a hoof on her shoulder. “He’s still breathing. But we have to get him to a doctor!” She looked at Yoshi and Mario. “Where’s the nearest hospital?”

Ethan fell into the middle of Toad Town knocked out from the fall. He was defeated. While the others found the star. It was in five broken pieces on the slightly damaged balcony.
