A few days passed after we had our little training day and we had also found out that we had accidentally left Ardinal behind when we left which had him a bit upset as he told us to make sure to bring him along next time.

Right now though, we were all currently In the living room, where Pharnyx, Lectul, and Eetle were reading the different magic books I had picked up over again as to do something to pass the time while Thorax, Rass, Ardinal, and I were just lounging around the couch and floor with Rass laying against the couch that Lectul was sitting In, Ardinal laying snow angel style on the floor, while Thorax and I were laying on the couch, all of us feeling to lazy to do anything else.

"I've never wanted to not do anything more than I do today." Thorax said

"I second that." I say agreeing

"Well, either thankfully or regretfully we only have one more day until we have to go back to work on the farm." Pharnyx said

"Yeahhh about that, what exactly are we supposed to do while you three are out working for Ponies?" Rass asked

"Wellll, maybe you can also work for said Ponies while your here." Pharynx said

"Pshh, pass." Rass says as she goes back to doing nothing

"Thats what I thought., so In that case you can just stay here waiting for us to come back." Pharnyx said

"Well I'm not going to stay here, I still need to leave every now and again." Rass said

"And why Is that?" Pharnyx asks

"To feed myself of course, what else?" Rass says rolling her eyes

"Mmmh no." Pharynx says as he goes back to reading

Rass sits up a bit with a frown on her face directed towards Pharnyx. "What do you mean no? I'm not gonna starve myself because you don't want me to." Rass says a bit upset

"He's saying that because we found a different way to eat love." Thorax explains In a way like he's said this before

"Yeah right, and we can also share love that turns us Into a different creature entirely." Rass says sarcastically

"They're not lying and besides, how else do you think we've survived this long?" I ask

"Obviously by draining the love of other creatures like a normal Changeling would." Rass said

"Well were not exactly 'normal' Changelings now are we?" I question

Rass opens her mouth to argue but pauses as she leans more into the chair sighing. "Fair enough I guess." She says as we spend the rest of our morning not doing much of anything.

"You know, I wonder, how would our lives have been like In the Hive?" Thorax asked

"What do you think? Obviously, It would be worse then what we have right now." Rass said

"I agree, we get love, which I remind you isn't like the ones from the feeding chambers, to ourselves, but we also can improve our abilities and choose what We want to do Instead of living for something that we might not agree with. Also, because of this 'group' idea from Joseph we can each share our thoughts without the risk of being executed." Lectul said

"Yeah, guess thats true." Thorax saI'd

I shot up off the couch. "Oh shoot, I totally forgot!" I start grabbing the magic books that were on the floor and In the hands of Rass, Thorax, and Pharnyx.

"Hey! I was reading that." Pharynx exclaimed

"Sorry, but I need to return these before the Ponies realize they're gone." I explain as I start making my way to the door

"Wait, can I come?" Thorax asked

I paused as I turned slightly to face him. "You sure? I'm just returning the books." I ask

"Joseph, no offense but i feel like It would be best If we went out and actually enjoyed ourselves." He pauses as he frowns a bit before continuing. "Ever since that night we've been stuck In this building not being able to actually enjoy ourselves and the one time we did we went out to train, not that I don't think that training was useless im just saying that I feel like we should just have a day where we go out and just relax, you know like we used to back In the Hive, just chatting and hanging out?" Thorax asks

I pause going over what he said. 'He's not really wrong, pretty much after that night we haven't really been able to just enjoy ourselves.' I think to myself

Sighing i look i look towards Thorax with a slight smile. "You know what, I guess your right, how about this after I return these books we can just have a nice day to ourselves like we used too." I said

Thorax smiled brightly In response as I'm suddenly engulfed In an awkward hug because of the books.

"Oh, I'm so glad you agreed with me, I can't wait to be able to just do what we Want Instead of doing what we need to for once." He says before letting go as he makes space

"You know, I have an idea." Lectul suddenly says

"For what?" Pharynx asked

"Well If Its true that Joseph Is returning those Ponies tomes then we might want to copy anything useful In them down before he does." Lectul said

"OK, and how are we supposed to do that?" Rass asked

Lectul then turned In our direction. "Joseph, Ponies have items that they use to trade with correct?" Lectul asked

"Yesssss?" I say slightly confused at where he was going

"And you have alot of said Item correct?" He asked again

It suddenly clicks to me as to what he's referring to." Ohhhh, you mean bits?" I ask

"Yes, If you can while your out can you use those 'bits' to try and find something that we can use to copy the pages of the Ponies tomes please." Lectul said

"Alright then." I say as I put the books down In a pile In the living room. "Well guys It'll be just like old times as Thorax said, let's go out and enjoy ourselves." I say as the three of us open the door and see what today had In store for us before we went back to work.
