What are some of the things you think of when you think of Rainbow dash? An amazing athlete, captain of the weather team, the element of loyalty, and most recently, became a reserve member in the wonderbolts. So now,She has not only reached her dream, but also gotten a lot more then she then she ever thought possible! She has five amazing best friends and mastered the legendary sonic rainboom.
One thing she never expected to happen to her however, and that was to fall in love. She's seen Rarity fall in love several times since knowing her, and they all ended with either her rejecting somepony Cas of their attitude or her getting rejected Cas they didn't like her.
Of course, Rainbow dash could have never have expected to have a crush on another pony, let alone falling in with somepony. She layed down on her cloud bed and turned to her side dresser to see a picture of herself with her friends.
However, she wasn't focused on herself or the others. In the middle of their group photo, was a certain small, cute, purple dragon. A small, cute, purple dragon that had captured her heart as she stared at the picture with hearts in her eyes. "Sigh...Spike. Why didn't I notice how sweet and cute you really were sooner? We could've gone done some amazing dates if I wasn't so obsessed with the wonderbolts to notice you."
Rainbow dash then began to remember when she started to have feelings for Spike, and the journey she had to discover her feelings for Spike in the first place.
one week earlier
In the skies above ponyville, there was a large structure made of clouds called the Cloudominium. It's occupation? Rainbow dash. And, she was late to a appointment. She finally began to wake up and looked at her alarm clock. "Mmmm...just five more minutes." She then realized the time on her clock and said "9:00AM?...wait 9:00AM!? I'm late! I'm super late! I gotta be late for the wonderbolts meet up!"
She then began to rush to the bathroom to get ready for the annual Wonderbolt meet up. This was important for her as a wonderbolt reserve member, Cas this was her chance to became a full plague wonderbolt. But if she misses it, she'll have to wait for a whole other year to try again.
Plus, she also wanted to get the new daring do book that was coming out today. 'Daring do and the raiders of the mark'. She was excited to say the least. She rushed off to shower and look good for the wonderbolts when her Rain cloud suddenly refused to work. "Grrrr, stupid Rain cloud! I seriously need to invest in a fresh Rain cloud."
She was about to punch it when she slipped fell on the floor and spilled her secret strawberry shampoo all over her mane and coat and wasting all the bottle. "Dang it! That was my favorite shampoo. Now I'll have to get more after today." Rainbow dash decided to stop at Rarity's after everything to see if she can fix her up a bit. She then grabbed her saddle bag and took off.
She managed to make it to the meet up easily enough after leaving her place, however, when she got to the Air-orium-"What do you mean the event got canceled?!"
The Air-orium was all closed up with a janitor Pegasus pony cleaning up the stairs in the front began to said "Yeah, it got canceled at the last minute, due to all the wonderbolts getting feather flu. But before she left, captain spitfire ask me to deliver a letter to any wonderbolt cadets that arrived here."
Rainbow dash perked up and said "Hey, I'm a wonderbolt reserve cadet! I'll take it!" Rainbow dash then took the letter from him and read it out loud.
Dear any Wonderbolt cadets/reserve member. If your reading this, then congratulations on dodging the feather flu. However, the wonderbolts themselves, including your captain, is unfortunately under the weather as they say. So, I'm afraid the wonderbolts meet up will be canceled for next year and all healthy members, wonderbolts and reserve members, are on leave till the feather flu has ran its course. I'll let you know if anything changes on our end. Your captain, Spitfire.
Rainbow dash looked depressed. No more wonderbolts till further notice? What was she supposed to do now? She then flew to ponyville as she still felt the gooey shampoo on her from this morning. Now she was kinda thankful that it was canceled. Showing up the the meet and greet like this would have given her fifty laps around the academy.
As she flew while distracted by her thoughts, a bucket of water fell on her and layered her shampoo on her as she was soaked and a freak gust of wind blew the water and sods away and air-dried her mane and coat.
She managed to get out of the air current and landed to get a better look at herself. Her main waved in the air and simmered, her wings were smooth sparkling, and her coat was fluffy and so soft. She was surprised how good she looked, Even if it was a freak accident that caused it. "Wow. I never thought I could look this good before. Even during the grand galloping gala, I was never this good-looking."
She then decided to walk the rest of the way to the library as she began to enjoy the day. Sure, the wonderbolts are out of commission for a while, but she wasn't gonna let that slow her down. She was gonna enjoy her daring do book and relax at home with tank.
She finally made it to Golden oak library and knocked at the door. She was excited to het the new daring do book and she knew Twilight was excited too. They could read it together and talk about it afterwards. However, to her surprise, Spike answered the door and said "Hi Rainbow dash! What brings you here?"
She was surprised to see Spike here. Usually, it's Twilight that opened the door. But she then replied, "I was actually looking for Twilight. She supposed to have the new Daring do book here today and I didn't want to miss it."
Spike then looked confused and said "The new Daring do book? I'm sorry Rainbow dash, didn't Twilight tell you? The release date got delayed and won't get here till next week. Twilight was devastated when she heard the news. And as for her, she was called to Cantrlot by the princess to go over a in-pony exam for her studies. "
Rainbow's face showed devastation as she sat and said "A whole nother week? Awww man, this sucks." Spike looked at her curiosity and said "Are you ok? It looks like it's not just the book's delay that got you feeling sad."
Rainbow dash wonder about telling him, them decided to tell him about her day. "Well Spike, it's been a bad morning honestly. First, my Rain shower in my place stopped working, then my shampoo spilled all-over me, then the wonderbolts got a case of feather flu so they canceled their annual Meet and greet, and then I got splashed on and got caught in a freak wind current and then here I am."
Spike then smelled the air and snapped his claws, saying, "So THAT'S what I've been smelling since you got here. Rainbow? Is your shampoo named 'Strawberry paradise'?"
How did Spike know that? Rainbow thought as she replied "W-Well...yeah. I loved strawberries since I was a filly. Why did you-?" Spike then said "Cas that's my shampoo I used when I lived in cantrlot! Boy dose that fragrance bring back memories. And Also Rainbow?"

Spike then looked at the calendar and said "She'll be back in about five days. Why?" Rainbow dash gulped and said "Well, since your all alone and I need to relocate to avoid getting feather flu till the doctor Pegasuses disinfect the clouds in the area, can I stay here...with you?"
Spike was taken aback at the question, but still said "Of couse! Any friend in need I'll help indeed! My library is your library!" Rainbow dash then smiled and said "Great! I'll get my stuff and drop off Tank at Fluttershy's and I'll be right back!"
She flew off to her Cloudominium to pack and drop off Tank at Fluttershy's place. As she flew, a strange new feeling formed in her heart. What was it? She decided to fight out later as she flew back to her Cloudominium and packed for her week long stay at Spikes.

Closer bonds and growing feelings
After packing a few of her things in her doffle bag, she hooked tank to his leach and heli-pack, and they flew to Fluttershy's place.
As she flew, she began to think about Spike's compliment. "Tank...do you think I'm...beautiful?" Tank tilled his head as they flew, not knowing what his owner was talking about. "Hmmm...maybe I'll ask Fluttershy for her input. "
They landed, or in Tanks case, hovered at Fluttershy's door and knocked as they waited for her to answer. The door opened and saw Fluttershy in a robe with shampoo in her mane as she said "Oh, hi Rainbow, Hi Tank. What brings you two here?" Rainbow dash then got straight to the ponit and said "Hey Flutters, sorry for dropping in and asking out of the blue like this, but can you take care of Tank for a few days?"
Fluttershy gave a confusing look to the two of them. "Ummm, Rainbow dash? Not that I don't mind taking care of Tank for a few days, but is something going on I should know?"
Rainbow dash blinked and said "Wait, you don't know about the feather flu outbreak near cloudsdale?" "*GASP!* FEATHER FLU?! oh my. No wonder you came here in a hurry. Do you need a place to stay too?" Fluttershy said, ready to offer her place to Rainbow dash.
"Actually...I already have another place to crash till the feather flu dies down." Rainbow dash said to calm her down. "OH, that's good. Feather flu isn't fun to have when your a Pegasus. So, where are you staying at?"
Rainbow dash then slightly blushed and said "S-Spike is letting me stay at his place till it's safe to go back."
"Oh, that's nice of him and Twilight to let you stay at the library."
"N-No,no. Twilight isn't in town. Spike said she was called to cantrlot for a inpony exam. So...it'll just be me and him alone at the library. " She then blushed at the thought of her and Spike all alone in the library.
Fluttershy then picked up on the blush and began to sprout a small, yet mischievous smile on her. She rarely had a chance to be the one teasing on her friends. So she was gonna take the opportunity to do so now.

Fluttershy, after saying the story, then said "Wow. I don't think anypony has called you beautiful before." "I know right? It felt like...like I was a mare for once." Fluttershy blushed and said "Oh my. I was so interested in your story, I forgot to rinse off. I hope Spike doesn't mind if I use there shower." "No, I don't mind Fluttershy."
Fluttershy then got surprised as Spike was outside on a ladder, fixing some tilings on the roof. "Thanks Spike. I appreciate the jester." Spike smiled and said "Anytime! So Dashie, mind if I show you to Twilight's room?"
Rainbow dash then giggled at the nickname. Usually, only Pinkie pie had called her that. But something about Spike calling him that now made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She followed Spike to Twilight's bed and she began to get settled in.
Meanwhile, Fluttershy began to rinse off the rest of the soap off of her, when she saw the door open on its own. It was weird for her as she saw saw Spike walking out of Twilight's room. She then had a naughty idea. She wanted to see if she was attractive for stallions, so she decided to tease Spike a bit and reached for a towel.
Spike had showed Rainbow dash where to sleep and wanted to get her settled in, but she said she got it and check on Fluttershy. She stepped out and saw in a towel, dripping wet, with a seductive look in her eyes. "HI Spike~"

Fluttershy was surprised, but not gonna fight it. She then said "Ok, I'm fine with that. Well, I better head home while you have fun with Spike~" Fluttershy then winked and lifted the library for home. Rainbow dash had a feeling that this was gonna be interesting week.

Rainbow dash barely explained why she wanted Spike to be her first, (While keeping her crush on him completely secret) and said, "And that's what happened. Spike and I were about to destroy our virginitys together when you charged in like a raging bull, No offense, and ruined our moment." Rainbow said, sounding upset at her chance gone and making Spike her coltfriend.
Rarity blushed as she recounted her reason to lie AND interpreting Rainbow's chance at not being a virgin. But she they blame her? She wanted Spike to be her first AND only since the grand galloping gala, when Blueblood humiliated her and Spike comfort her in the garden.
Rarity then also realized that she and Raonbow dash care for Spike very much and wondered something. 'Would she be interested in doing...that with us? If she dose have romantic feelings for Spike like I suspect, then this COULD work out for the both of us.'
Rarity then cleared her throat and began to explain, saying "Alright then. I think it's obvious that BOTH of us care for Spike alot. So much so, that we entrusted him with being our first times right? "
Rainbow dash nodded in response. She was getting a funny feeling where she was going with this, and was kinda excited for it.
Rarity then continued, after seeing Rainbow dash nodded in agreement. 'Perfect, she's intrigued. Now, to say my deal. I hope this works.' "Well, what do you say the three of us be friends with benefits? I know this may sound like we're just using you for sex Spikey-wikey, but I can assure you that we care about you very much. After all, I can't count how many times you've helped me at my boutique without asking for a reward."
Rainbow dash smiled a bit on the outside, but was screaming with joy on the inside. 'Oh sweet Celestia! Rarity, your a genius! This plan will be perfect for me to confess to Spike about my feelings for him someday!' "And don't forget about the time you filled in for me when I was under Discord's influence. PLUS, don't forget about letting me crash here while my place is getting cleared of feather flu. And like I said earlier..."
Rainbow dash then felt her timed side coming out again as she said "I...I wouldn't do this with just anypony. That should tell you how much I care for you Spikey-wikey." Her girly side then completely took control and planted a kiss on Spike's cheek.
Spike was taken aback as he stared at Rainbow dash. His heart began to beat hard. 'Wow. I've NEVER seen Rainbow dash look this...cute before. Sure, I've always thought she was attractive before, but this...ohhh I wanna take her right now!'
Spike whined in his mind, clearly having a hard time holding back his own urges. Rarity however, While annoyed that Spike was Ogling over Rainbow dash, she was surprised to see this side of her friend. 'I've NEVER seen Rainbow dash act like this before. She's usually tough and tries to avoid showing emotion. But this...is it possible that she's in love with him too?'
Rarity then nodded, knowing now that she was ok with sharing Spike with Rainbow dash. "Now Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. While I would also love for Spikey-wikey to take us here and now, don't you think our first time should be a bit more...special?"
Rainbow dash and Spike seemed confused as Rainbow said "What do you mean? I kinda thought the privacy of a closed kitchen was perfect for breaking our virginitys."
Rarity nodded and said "Yes, and while I understand that it was a heat of the moment, don't you think our first should be more...romantic? After all, the three of us care deeply for each other, and so, I think that the first of MANY nights together should be special! Don't you two think?"
Spike immediately nodded at the idea. After reading some of Twilight old romance novels, he figured that a night of cider and romance was the perfect way to break there virginitys together.
Rainbow dash thought that this was kinda unnecessary. However, something about this made sence to her. And the fact that it's gonna be the three of them together was exciting. She then said "Ok Rarity, You talked me into it. So, how ARE gonna do this?"
Rarity's eyes sparkled as she jumped for joy a but and said "Leave the planing to me darling. You two just come by Carousel Boutique tonight for dinner and I'LL make us a lovers nest so divine that will be sleeping In our own cum!"
The very thought of it made Rainbow dash and Spike's hearts beat in excitement. Now THEY were just as excited as her as Spike said "GREAT! I'll finish my chores fast and will meet you at the boutique at say...seven? Is that ok?"
Rarity then thought of it real quick and said "Better Make it eight Spikey-wikey. I'll need time to prepare everything for us. Especially for the nest."
The three agreed as Rarity left to prepare for a wonderfully romantic night for the three of them. Rainbow dash was giddy with excitement at the fact she was gonna make love with her crush. While Spike was probably the most excited of the three of them. He was about to live every colts dream, sleeping with two beautiful mares at the same time.
And this wasn't just two random mares here, their two of his best friends wanting him! And he wanted them too! Hopefully afterwards, they would agree to his proposal.
