Author's Note
This is my entry for the Dialogue only contest. as such it is, somewhat short. If any one though wants to take what I have done and run with it until a full serious story feel free, just give me a shout out though XD
Also, the section from "Later on" and beyond was still I added AFTER the inital stopping point after i realized to submit a story it HAD to be at least 1k words hense the added stuff. I am honestly pleasred with it actually! Also fair warning I know ZERO about Rim World beyond the character of Death

“Hehehe, It is almost done, once I have this device finished, I shall finally be able to understand what makes you tick, and with any luck be able to replicate your abilities!”
“I still do not think that that is a good Idea Twilight, I mean sure I am quite random but there is a method to my randomness and I have been this way since I was a tiny itty-bitty Pinkie. There is no telling what this will do to you”
“Oh relax Pinkie, if anything goes wrong, which I doubt it will, I will just push the emergency stop button. But when this works, this will allow me to experience your so-called Pinkie Sense first hoof, or allow me to move like you do, appear wherever I want, know things I should logically speaking have no way of knowing!
“But even Discord of all beings LEFT this universe when you started this project. He grabbed up Fluttershy and said they were heading to a place called The Rim World. That should be the biggest clue this is a bad idea.”
“Again Pinkie, nothing will go wrong, nor will anything stop me from this experiment! I am so very, very tired of watching you break the laws of science, of magic and of reality! Heck the universe! And you treat it as if it was nothing! I want to understand it, know how you do it, to be able to do it myself!
“And I say again this is a very bad idea! You should realize this given my abnormal seriousness. There are things out there that normal ponies be they Earth Pony, Pegasi, Unicorn, or even Alicorn’s are NOT meant to see or know. Beings beyond the beyond you are not ready to comprehend or even know about. Beings that watch most of our every moves but not all, some who even set us on new paths of destiny. I would say more but truthfully, I have probably already said far too much. Please Twilight give this up it’s for your own good that you do”
“Annnnd done! Sorry Pinkie but while you were going off about dire warnings and such I was finishing my machine, now nothing can keep me from learning your secrets! Nyahahaha!”
“So be it Twilight but when all is said and done, do not say I did not try and stop you or that I gave you warnings. On your head this shall be. Now if you will please excuse me, I will be grabbing the girls, and the CMC and joining Discord over on the Rim Worlds. I just pray to Faust there’s anything left of Ponyville, or even Equestria even when we return”
Later On....
“Do you think everything will be alright?”
“Honestly I am unsure Fluttershy, Twilight is messing with forces beyond her understanding, something she has a bad habit of doing and I fear that this time it will really come back to bite her in the flank. This is evidenced by the fact that even Pinkie Pie is worried. I honestly would not be surprised if we see her here shortly with the rest of your friends and a few others though just how many she can bring will be limited”
“My dear, like your friend Discord here, Miss Pie is an agent of Chaos, only in her case she is not a god of it, nor was she chosen by Discord to be an agent. No that was a choice was made by your worlds Tree of Harmony, something it needed to keep things lively, and push creatures to expect the unexpected while Discord was trapped in stone. Truth told your world has many such beings that have been chosen over the years to fill those roles. And the fact is, that tree did NOT choose Miss Sparkle as a representative of chaos so the outcome could be quite severe”
“Death is right dear Fluttershy, this situation is something even I cannot even begin to try and predict and if I am one hundred percent honest that worries me a lot and is why I got you out of there fast. I am just sorry I could not bring your animal friends along but there is a balance that must be maintained here and bringing too many being over could end poorly. One or two being is fine, even a hand full, or in your case a hoof full, but after awhile the multiverse would get a little..twitchy”
“I will not lie to you little one. There have been instances in other worlds where someone has tampered with power they did not earn, or were not given, had stolen, or even underestimated. Instances in which a reality was just wiped clean of existence. I DO have an inkling on a few possible outcomes of Miss Sparkles experiment, most are benign and result in her being bed ridden for a week or so from power overlord, others result in her turning into a minor Draconequis like Discord here, and even a few result in her death and the destruction of your world”
“Oh my..that sounds terrible”
“Thankfully little one, from what I can see the odds of her death and the destruction are very low, there are a few other possible outcomes but they are even lower then her death so are not worth mentioning”
“Oh come on Death there is no need to scare her, sheesh. Anyways now that everyone is here how about we all sit down and have some cupcakes while we wait to see what Twilight's Twilighting will cause. I am still very worried but there's nothing we can do about it. Oh and also in case anyone is wondering why our friends have not said anything it is because the author is not sure what to even make them say, or if they even really need to say anything that has not already been said.”
"Agreed Pinkie Pie, and how about I provide some glasses of chocolate milk to go along with the cupckaes"
