It was a very cold and windy night the storm out side was so strong due to a mess up in the order of rain clouds. The pegesus apolojized for the mess up and that it was suposed to rain hard for three days. It is three in the morning and Twilight was restless but still hard at work looking for a cure to spikes cold, he was at bed rest for 5 days know and it was up to twilight to help him. she looked through a book on the common cold and ways to help it with her magic and a frizing lilly, Twilight let out a deep sigh and figured that she will ask Zicora about the frizing lilly in the morning and she closed the book she was looking in for the past hour and decided to go to bed. After looking at the bookshelf's Twilight quickly found the T's and put the book up, exausted she walked up to the desk with the only candle that was lit and blew it out.
The moon gave an ere lighting to the house that would make most fillys shiver in fear and hide under there blankets looking for safty but not Twilight she had one thing on her mind and that was to help poor spike. Twilight got to the stairs and saw a flash of lighting and was wating on the thunder but she heard nothing she looked in the dark wandering what that could have been "show yourself" There was no responce. After four minutes of looking into nothing but blackness she decided this is crazy there is nobody there she turned back around to the stairs and started to walk up them. Twilight was half way up the stairs when she heard a thud "what who is there show yourself now!".
"Ok you got me" A voice came from below at the foot of the stairs just do not hurt me I am sorry.Who are you and what are you doing in my house? I am Dimond Fether I came from canterlot I was kicked out of my house by my wife pleas I need a place to stay do not make me go back out into that storm. Well that sounds bad but I do not have any room in my house and I have a sick dragon that I need to care for. Are you shure that there is nowhere you can go like a parents house? No I do not have a home to go to I came from a land far away I do not know where I am right now! A tear ran down the side of his face and he started to weep on the floor. No don't cry I will let you stay and help you get you on the right track home just pleas stop crying I hate to see people like this. It was 5 in the morning when Twilight got to her bed she put her head on the pillow and drifted fast asleap.
12 oclock in the morning Twilight woke up to screaming and panic. Spike what is going on she took the covers off of herself what is wrong twilight looked down the stairs and saw Dimond fether holding spike to the wall with his magic. Give me that back I will kill you if you dont! twilight rushed down the stairs let him go he did not take anything. He took my amulet that was my wifes I stole it and she kicked me out of the house that is all I have to remember her by and he took it from me! Hey calm down can we solve this without violence. Ok sorry I tend to overreact when something precious to me is on the line I need to get that amulet to the mountain. twilight was puzeld what was he talking about what mountain and most importantly what amulet? I am not brave now but I will be I had it all a house and mare to love and most of all a life, this damn amulet mesed it all up I need to go I have to get to my destination. I am not going to let you out into that storm but if you must go than go but I do not recomend that you leav the house. Ok I will stay but I will not delay my trip any longer after the storm is over the wrold must meet it's fate like mine.
Dimond fether put spike down he let out a wimper and walked off. spike was on the floor breathing hevaly dont wory spike letts get you back to the bed. twilight picked spike up with her magic I do not know what that guys problem is but I know that he is up to no good. Wen twilight got upstairs she looked out the window the sun was blocked by tons of clouds and the grass was looking more gray then usual it looked like everything was losing its natural color nobody was outside and the blids wer all closed to keep the grey from coming in and keeping the warmth of family inside. Twilight put spike in his bed and gave him a kiss on the head we are going to get through this just give me time spike it is just a cold everybody gets it. This made twilight worry because they did not know much about dragons and she did not know if pony medecine would work or if spike was going to make it through. Twilight tryed to get that thought out of her head as she reaturned downstairs but when she got to the last step she heard spike let out a burp and a wine in pain. Spike what is wrong she rushed upstairs to see what was wrong, Spike was holding a letter in his hands he droped it to the floor and started to weep because of the pain he was in.
Twilight rushed to spikes side "dont move that makes the pain worse just stay still". Twilight picked up the note and saw that it was from Celestia "that is weard I did not send her a mesage" she looked at the seal and broke it the note read. Twilight my faithfull student there has been a desterbance of a segneficant power source near ponyville and I fear that this power source is of dark energy and the power is enough to take all of ponyville with it. Do not worry this power source is not yet availebal it is encased in a hard shell that can only be broken by a strong power source that no pony other than me and my sister have if you find this stone pleas bring it to me so it may be locked away so noboy can use it to destroy anything. Oh my this could be bad I need to find this amulet before it is used to destroy something. Dimond fether was sitting in the living room holding something in his hooves it was a strange amulet that was in the shape of Celestia and Lunas cutie mark. Celestia had failed to mention what the amulet looked like so Twilight was not Shure if that was what Celestia was talking about. Twilight approached Dimond fether and asked him where he had found that and he quickly hid the amulet and said "what amulet" she pointed to the hooves he had behind his back and he said "oh that amulet."
Dimond fether opened his mouth to explain when Twilight heard a knock on the door. she said hold that thought and walked to the door. Twilie Shining Armor said as he started to walk into the house BBBFF what are you doing here!? Shining armor said "did you get the note from Celestia?" There is an amulet here that can destroy, Shining armor looked over at Dimond fether and back at Twilight. oh sorry I did not know that you had company who is this?
Twilight simply said he is Dimond fether and he was kicked out of his house with no place to go.
Oh well nice to meet you Dimond fether, Shining armor put his spear next one of Twilights book shelf and walked to the living room. So twilight have you seen anything strange lately?
No nothing out of the usual BBBFF just the storm that is all.
Dimond fether pulled his hands from behind his back and put the amulet next to him. Shining Armor looked over at it and immediately jumped up and grabbed his spear and pointed it at Dimond fether. Dimond fether jumped up and Shining Armor said "give me that amulet and no one will get hurt.
Dimond fether said no way in hell this is mine.
Shining Armor put the spear to his neck and said I will do it for the princess.

Twilight quickly walked up to Dimond fether and snatched the amulet from his hands. Dimond fether was stunned as Twilight tossed the amulet to Shining armor. Dimond fether charged his horn and shot magic at Shining Armor but he quickly countered with his magic the bolts hit each other and reflected into a mirror the magic reflected of the mirror and struck the amulet. The amulet started to glow and crack into a million pieces the light was so intense that they all closed there eyes. Twilight was the first to open her eyes and what she saw was amazing it was a strange creature sitting in a chair she looked on the floor and saw Dimond Fether and shining armor. Twilight looked at the thing on the chair and she was Shure it was unaware of there presence Twilight walked up to the thing on the chair and poked it on the back. the chair quickly turned around and the thing on the chair said "what the!?!?!?!" the chair it was in fell over and the thing hit its head on the desk. Twilight jumped up and ran straight into the wall and they where all knocked out cold.
Shining Armor's head moved and then his hooves he quickly jumped up and looked around "mommy" he said as he saw the strange creature bleeding on the floor. He walked up to the strange creature to see if he was all right and still breathing and to his surprise the creature opened it's eyes. Shining Armor started to pee on the floor and creep away from the strange creature. The creature moaned and rubbed it's head "whoa I could have sworn I saw Twilight." the strange creature said. Shining Armor charged the creature and pinned him against the wall, Shining then yelled how do you know my sister!?!?!?!?! The strange creature started to squirm "this dream is just so real" Shining Armor started to grind his teeth "Tell me now!"
