Fluttershy woke up to the sound of the alarm clock ringing. She sat up, hair a mess, as she yawned and lightly tapped on the clock to get it to stop. With a click, the clock obeyed. Feeding day was a big part of the week after all.
Fluttershy took a deep breath, stretched out her wings for a moment before closing them back in and walking down the path, her destination being her second in command. She passed by some ponies who turned and waved, some were casual while others seemed to drop everything in an attempt to greet her. She awkwardly waved back to all them.
To be seen with such respect was still crazy to her, even after all this time. She liked the happy faces, even though she was sure some did it because they were worried what would happen if they didn't. They are silly though. Soon, a pony came running up to her; Lyra was her name. "Good morning Fluttershy." She said with a slight bow. The Pegasus gave a slight stuttered wave, her gaze going upwards as the unicorn was completely naked. Not unheard of as some had taken it as a sign of respect. One that had come about after several months into the creation of the cult. Lyra bowed again. "On it."
Fluttershy took in a deep breath. "Oh and please don't hassle her, she really is a hard worker."
The unicorn seemed taken aback for a second before smiling. "We would never even consider it. She is a close personal friend to our glorious leader and supplies so much to our cause. We hold high respect to her and will do everything we can to help her in their endeavors. You need not worry." With that, she turned and began to saunter away. Fluttershy stole one last peak at that toned unicorn ass. She was glad she had on a shirt that went down to just above her knees to help hide the fact that she was already getting moist downstairs. The leaves were about half the size of her house, rounded at the base and pointed at the end, the middle being a yellow almost translucent bulb. Green roots sprouted from the large plant, covering the area. Vines gripped the trees around it as several ponies were huddled near a wooden shed, the house originally designed as a place of shelter for when Fluttershy wished to visit the plant on rainy days. It had been awhile since she was last able to visit it outside of Feeding Day though.
As she neared, one of the caretakers of the plant came running over. "Oh Fluttershy, thank goodness." Roseluck, the earth pony in question, took a small bow. Her poncho seemed to be torn in some places and was soaking wet. The flower was surrounded by a large pond so it made sense she would be a little damp but it was surprising to see her getup in such a devastating state.
"Yerba has been roaring, its vines twisting and our attempts to calm it has only led it to lash out at us."
The yellow pony let out a low sigh as she glanced over the flower, seeing that it appeared to be in a somewhat defensive state, its petals locked inwards as green tentacles shook around it. "Head back and tell the others I am communing with it and to not worry. Focus on Feeding Day preparations... Or something." She said, trying to get these ponies away for now.
All of them quickly bowed, all to ready to leave. Roseluck seemed to be the only one to hesitate. "Are you sure y-you will be a-alright?" She stuttered.
Fluttershy could see the fear in her eyes. "Yes I am sure-"
"THANKYOU!" She practically screamed as she tore off down the path, the others following so quickly that Fluttershy was certain she saw a dust outline hang in the air for a few seconds.
Another sigh escaped her lips. "I sometimes question why I became the leader... I am starting to realize its because I am the only one here not afraid of Yerba."
She walked to the end of the dock, jumping into the water. The plant gave off a low groan followed by the green tentacle in her hand going ridged. "What do you mean I don't visit enough? I see you once a week for Feeding Day." She cocked her head in slight confusion. Far be it for her to say she hardly saw it.
A low groan and a vibration covered the flower, causing the Pegasus to feel her feet grow warm for a second. "Oh... I guess it has been awhile since we last spent time together outside of feeding time."
Another tentacle snaked along her back as Yerba let out a low moan that shook the water, sending small waves crashing against the shore. "And no one talks to you? Or cuddles you? Those caretakers are supposed to be keeping you happy. Looks like I will be having a stern talk to them later." Not too stern and risk them disappearing though of course.

She thought for a moment then glanced back at the nearby shed. "Tell you what, after Feeding Time later this evening, I will stay and we can have a little slumber party. I will even make some tea and chat with you in the morning just like we used to."
The bulb seemed to light up as the ground shook. Larger waves crashed against the shore. "Whoa, calm down big guy." She gave the bulb another hug. "I am glad you are happy now. I have to go reassure everyone that everything is ok now though." The tentacle next to her check seemed to move up and down in a nodding motion, the rest slowly leaving her. The tentacles turned and stretched out, making a bridge back to the dock. Another tentacle reached into the shed and gripped a towel, bringing it back over and handing it to the smiling Pegasus.
"Oh, thankyou. You really are very thoughtful. I don't understand why everyone fears you so much. You are just a big happy sunflower is all. You just get cranky sometimes when you get lonely, everyone does." She took the towel and began to dry off, casually walking across the tentacle bridge, turning around once she reached the shed. "See you later, I promise to feed you good."
The tentacles seemed to wave goodbye as the Pegasus turned and made her way back. As soon as she reached the edge of the forest, she could see a large crowd had gathered. She rolled her eyes and stepped out. "Fluttershy! Dude, you alright?" "Oh well, I need to start looking into alternatives in clothing anyways..." She turned and began to head back towards her house. "I wonder if Rarity has an ideas. Perhaps a dress made of leaves that can be put back together after each use?"

Several large groups of ponies gathered in a small clearing next to the massive flower. Tables covered in food sat in the back while the cultists silently sat on the ground, waiting for the ritual to start. Some sat naked while others sat in their green ponchos. All were looking at the small stage where Tree Hugger read off a list to make sure everyone was in attendance. The sun was starting to set so torches were lit, special smelling herbs were placed around to help keep the bugs away while the flower seemed to grow excited.
Fluttershy stepped out from the brush, still wearing the same shirt. The only difference was that she smelled like lavender and less like sex... At least for now. She walked up the middle, several ponies turning to look at her as she walked up to the stage. Tree Hugger gave a small bow before turning back to Fluttershy's flock.
