A changeling that wished for her moms love
“Mommy! Mommy!”
A young female nymph tapped on a tall changelings leg for her attention. The same leg gently pushed her away before speaking softly.
“Not now young one… I must talk with my generals for the invasion”
The young nymph huffed before hugging the females leg before getting shoved away onto her back before looking up at her mother. Her mother looked at her with an angry look on her face before shouting.
“Nynx! I said not now!” The changeling said, causing Nynx to run away from her.
“My queen… she only wanted-“
The changeling went silent as the queen looked at him.
“You will not tell me how I should treat my daughter! Get out of my sight!”
The changeling ran off in fear, the Queen looked at a nearby crystal. Her eyes being dragon slit and her hair was a long with a dark blue color. Her crown was small with hearts on it that signaled her rule. The changeling queen was named Chrysalis and she went to the war room, ready to stage her invasion. Nynx ran to her room, crying as her own mother shoved her away. Nynx climbed onto her bed before sobbing into her pillow, wondering why her mother shoved her away so Nynx spent the rest of the night crying.
Canterlot Hallway
Chrysalis in disguise of Cadence walked down the hallway, still feeling upset from all the shit she had to deal with today. It would be better when she could get to her food source when small hooves could be heard approaching her. Looking behind her, Chrysalis saw a young foal running up to her with a smile on her face. Chrysalis wondered who foal it could be as it went to her leg and hugged it tightly, making chrysalis gag a bit before pushing the foal away a bit. The foal looked up at her before sitting on her haunches and reaching up for her, only for Chrysalis to walk away with an annoyed look on her face. The foal in question slowly lowered her hooves before looking down to the marble floor, silently crying as a purple unicorn that was following Chrysalis in disguise walked out from their hiding spot before walking to the crying foal.
“Hello there…”
The unicorn said, causing the foal to turn around and face them. Without a second to process who it was, the foal ran towards the pony and hugged their leg tightly. The unicorn sat on their haunches before hugging the foal back. It took a minute of pure silence before the foal spoke up, still crying a bit.
“I… I’m Nynx…”
The unicorn smiled softly, looking at the foal before replying back.
“I’m Twilight Sparkle… where’s your mom Nynx..?”
Twilight asked as Nynx hugged her tighter, burying her face into her leg before speaking between sobs.
“C…. Chr…. Chrysalis…”
Twilights brow furrowed in confusion before speaking.
“Who’s that…? Is it somepony I know..?”
Nynx shakes her head, causing twilights leg gets slightly damp from the crying foal. Nynx then pulls away from Twilight before running away from her, yelling out a single sentence before disappearing from sight.
“Thank you Twilight!”
Party grounds a day after invasion
Everypony was celebrating the marriage of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor and the repelling of the evil Queen Chrysalis from capturing Canterlot. However a single small grub ran from bush to bush, hiding from the ponies as she couldn’t transform into a disguise. Nynx was left behind from the blast that sent all of her people away and was watching the party before her. Smiling softly, Nynx wanted to celebrate with the ponies but was terrified of what they might do to her. When a shadow passed by her bush, she immediately hid from it, causing the bush to shake. The pony in question was a purple mare, dressed in a dress with a microphone was partying with the group when the bush shook broke her concentration.
“Hello..? Who’s there..?”
Twilight asked as her voiced echoed into the party. The bush didn’t move again which caused twilight to move the bush, and reveal the small nymph.
“C… CHANGELING!”
Twilight screamed out as Everypony got into an aggressive stance, grouping up to Twilight and surrounding the nymph even princess Celestia and Luna surrounded it. The nymph trembled in fear, looking at all of the ponies with terror and absolute horror. Twilight looked at the scared changeling with confusion and felt conflicted and was about to ask the changeling who it was when Shinning Armor yelled loudly at it.
“IDENTIFY YOURSELF BUG!”
The nymph coward away from the shout, leaving a puddle underneath the terrified changeling. Twilight asked kindly, hoping to get an answer.
“What’s your name….?”
The nymph looked up at her, eyes widened at seeing a familiar face. The nymph reached out for Twilight in a reaction for needing motherly love. Unfortunately a guard grabbed the nymph before holding it up in magic. The guard saluted to the captain before asking.
“Orders sir?”
Shinning Armor pointed at the canterlot castle, raising his voice in authority.
“Take it to the dungeons!”
Cadence looked at him as the nymph was taken away, asking in a gentle voice.
“Honey it’s only a child…”
Before anypony could talk about the situation the nymph cried out for one individual that made their ears flatten in sadness.
“MOMMY!”
The changeling hive
Chrysalis was tossing everything around the room of Nynx, trying to figure out where she was hiding. After being blasted out of the city in love blast, Chrysalis was absolutely horrified to not know why she shoved her daughter away from her side, she only wanted her attention and didn’t even bother to make amends. Chrysalis never thought that being hungry would ever make her an absolutely monster and during her panic a lone changeling walked in.
“My queen… we searched high and low… she’s nowhere to be found..”
Chrysalis felt her heart shatter as her own daughter, who was an absolute sweetheart, ran away. She turned away from the changeling, feeling her body trembling in misery. The changeling left the queen in Nynx’s room, shutting the door and rushing away from hearing the wails of a mother who lost her daughter.
Morning in the throne room, Canterlot
The nymphs Hooves were tied down with heavy weights to prevent escaping and a horn ring on their horn to prevent magic. Princess Celestia and Luna with the elements of harmony were looking at the nymph with a look of distain as the enemy left a child behind to face their wrath. Luna was the first to speak up to the nymph, her voice soft but firm.
“Thy name little one…?”
The nymph looked at Luna, feeling scared but answered respectfully.
“M…. My name is N… Nynx… y… your royal h.. highness..”
Twilights eyes widen, remembering a foal named Nynx and their mother being Chrysalis. With a loud shout, Twilight called out.
“Your Chrysalis’s daughter!!!”
Everypony gasped as Chrysalis’s spawn was in their sights and helpless. BlueBlood looked at Celestia and whispered into her ear, guiding the decision of Nynx’s fate.
While Everypony were discussing at the young ones fate, Twilight couldn’t help but feel guilty for exposing her birth mother to all of these ponies. Rarity leaned into Twilights ear.
“How do you know…”
Twilight responded to Rarity in her ear.
“It was when I was following fake Cadence when she went up to her leg and hugged her… only she was pushed aside and left alone to cry… I went to her and hugged her… asked her who she was and who her mothers name…”
The voice of celestia boomed through the room.
“I have made my decision!”
The room became quiet as Celestia talked.
“The verdict is…..”
