Princess Twilight Sparkle has only just taken up the throne of Equestria, and already she feels she can never live up to the legacy of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. This has become such a big concern, that Moondancer, her steward, had asked her friend to take some time to revaluate and relax. While doing so, Twilight just so happens to be reading about the great deeds of her predecessors, when a strange note is found in a book. Following it, her eyes become like stars when she finds an ancient journal, written by Princess Luna millennia ago, and what's more, it contains information on a lost civilization; the Thestrals.
