Everypony was spending time with their dads, including Misty, Pipp, Zipp, Queen Haven and Alphabittle, who the latter two came over for a date and spend time with their daughters. With Hitch and Sparky though, it was a different story. Hitch did not have anything planned for his Father’s Day due to his busy sheriff work and taking care of Sparky at the same time, exhausting him out. “Oh Sparky, how much I love you.” He said to his son. “Papa!” Sparky babbled out, surprising Hitch in the process. Then Sparky ran out of the sheriff’s station but Hitch couldn’t chase him due to him being exhausted. Sparky ran all the way to the Crystal Brighthouse, surprising the girls and their guests. “Hey Sparky, what’s up?” Sunny asked. “Sparky’s saying that it’s Father’s Day today, but Hitch doesn’t have any plans.” Izzy spoke. “Hitch? What’s wrong with Hitch today? Is he not in the mood today?” Pipp asked. “Sparky’s saying that Hitch’s exhausted, and that’s why he doesn’t have any plans, but Sparky has an idea.” Zipp said. “What do you have that can help Sparky?” Misty asked. “Shhh!” Sparky said. “Sparky’s saying that it’s a surprise. OMP!!! I love surprises!” Pipp said. “Me too, Pipp!!!” Izzy said. “Come on! We got a pony to surprise.” Zipp said. “Bye mom! Bye Alphabittle!” Pipp said. The girls and Sparky raced to the sheriff’s station. “Okay, everypony. On a count of three, Sparky will wake up Hitch and we’ll surprise him. Ready, Sparky?” Sunny said, to which Sparky nodded at her. “Okay! One, two, three, go, go, go!!!” Sunny cheered, and Sparky stormed in and Hitch woke up again. “Huh? Sparky? You seem excited, and you have a surprise for me? Amazing! C’mon!” Hitch cheered, hearing Sparky’s words. “We need to go to the Dragon Lands first to get Spike, Blaize, Leaf, Tumble, Luxxe, Fountain, Lava and Jade first, then head to Bridlewood where Hitch’s surprise will be at.” Sunny announced. “Excellent idea.” Misty cheered. “The dragons are really great friends. They’ll love Bridlewood as much as Maretime Bay.” The Mane 6 boarded the Marestream and headed to the Dragon Lands to get Spike, Blaize Skysong, Luxxe, Fountain, Leaf, Tumble, Lava and Jade and they flew along with the Marestream. “Uh, Sunny? Why are the dragons with us, and where are we going?” Hitch asked. “Great question, Hitch! You’ll see when we get there.” Sunny asked. “I love surprises!” Hitch said. “I’ll close my eyes for the rest of the trip.” “Great idea Hitch!” Zipp said. “I agree! Closing your eyes will definitely help too.” Izzy said. “Oh look!” Pipp said exctiedly. “We’re here!!!” The dragons and the Marestream landed in Bridlewood where lots of dads and sons gathered along for a big celebration. Hitch’s surprise was getting closer and closer. As the ponies got off the Marestream, they and the dragons walked around Bridlewood’s Father’s Day celebration featuring dads from all over Equestria, and as soon as Hitch opened up his eyes, he could see where he was at. “SURPRISE!!!” The girls, Sparky and the dragons cheered in unison. “The Bridlewood Father’s Day celebration.” Izzy said. “That’s your surprise.” “Really?” Hitch asked. “I love it.” “This is the first time for us dragons.” Luxxe said. “I’m so proud to see what this celebration has in store.” “Me too Luxxe.” Blaize agreed. “Don’t you agree your Spikeness?” “I sure do!
