A rare opportunity
Rarity’s house
Rarity dug through her jewelry, looking for the perfect pair to start the day with, she had plans to visit her favorite boutiques and make like a bandit on some sales.
Now if only she could find her shopping earrings!
“Hmm, pretty but not amazing,” Rarity sighed putting the jewelry down before getting back to work on finding the perfect set for a Sunday.
As Rarity searched around for her missing earrings she spotted something shiny under her desk and she reached down, snatching them.
“Aha! I have found them, I do wonder how they got under there,” Rarity said before shrugging and putting them on, as she got ready with her outfit and she moseyed on down the steps she also took note that Sweetie had left an hour ago to go spend the next couple of nights at her friend's house.
Those three, were always so adventurous, Rarity chuckled at the thought.
As Rarity had approached her make-up stand.
She got to work immediately applying foundation and eyeliner she powdered her already white cheeks and put on some lipstick.
Afterwards she examined herself in the mirror and found herself indeed fashionable enough to tackle the day.
After all was said and done she made her way over to the door.
With a flourish she opened the door… and her face was immediately knocked upon like a door.
“Ow!” Rarity yelped and looked at the offender who was Twilight.
“Sorry Rarity, I didn't see you there,” Twilight said sheepishly.
“It is alright, luckily you didn't cause any bruising,” Rarity said “What do you need Twilight? I was just about to descend upon the city and go on a shopping spree?” Rarity said.
“Uhm… about that… could you reschedule?” Twilight said.
“...Pardon?” Rarity asked.
“I need a dogsitter for Spike and he likes spending time with you,” Twilight said revealing Spike to be right next to her.
“Hi Rarity!” Spike barked.
“Oh… um… not to sound rude but you did just hear that I was going to be out and about right?” Rarity said anxiously.
“I know, but my grandmother is having an emergency get-together with me, and she lost her license so I need to drive to her and take her on her runs, and nobody else is around to help out, Spike isn’t old enough to be left alone for extended periods of time,” Twilight said.
“Oh come on Twilight, it was one ruined rug,” Spike complained.
“Three,” Twilight reminded him.
“I can’t help needing to pee,” Spike said.
“Twilight, while I am always willing to dogsit Spike here, I would be remiss if I missed the sales today,” Rarity said with a sigh.
“Come on, please Rarity, those sales last for days anyways,” Twilight said.
“The sooner I get in the sooner I can claim their early bird specials,” Rarity said.
“Please, nobody else is available!” Twilight pleaded.
“Twilight dear…” Rarity sighed.
“Tell you what, if I have time I’ll swing by the mall for you,” Twilight said.
“....Oh dear, fine! But the shirt I have been eyeing better be there tomorrow,” Rarity said with a drawn-out sigh.
“Thank you!” Twilight hugged her before handing her the leash “I will be back tomorrow, have fun!” Twilight ran off to the car and drove off.
Rarity casually glanced down at the puppy who stared up at her with a wagging tail.
“Alright, dear… let us go inside I suppose,” Rarity said leading Spike inside.
As Rarity was making herself some tea she heard Spike running around behind her.
“Careful dear,” Rarity said.
“Sorry! I didn’t get a walk yesterday so I’m full of energy!” Spike said.
“Just be careful, I am carrying piping hot tea,” Rarity said as she tried to maneuver around the energetic little dog.
“So, how are things with you Rarity?” Spike asked.
“Oh fine darling, I was hoping to shop today but I suppose those plans are on hold,” Rarity said boredly stirring her tea with her spoon.
“You seem bored,” Spike said as he hopped up on the chair next to her.
“Oh it is nothing, dearie,” Rarity said.
“C’mon, I know when someone looks down, dogs have a sixth sense about these things,” Spike said.
“I just… wish I could have a boyfriend to spend time with,” Rarity recalled a certain poster in her room that she often fantasized, among other things, with, if just to feel the presence of a lover.
“Ah, I’ll be honest, I don’t fully understand that stuff,” Spike said.
“You're a tad too young at the moment, but one day you’ll understand when you meet a female dog as well,” Rarity said.
Spike internally sighed at this, he secretly had feelings for Rarity, it sounds crazy, a dog having a crush on a human, but he does.
Three problems, age, species, and attraction, but that doesn’t mean he can’t help with her situation at hand.
“Why don’t you get one?” Spike asked.
“It is not that simple, he must be perfect, ideal, and will never stray, I have… specific tastes,” Rarity said admittedly a little bit sheepish.
“Well I'm sure you'll find him one day,” Spike said.
“I know, but I'd like it to be sooner than later,” Rarity said a little disappointedly.
Spike looked down upon hearing that if only he could do something about it.
Well, there are always walks, those help him focus.
“How about we take a walk? Clear the air a little?” Spike said.
“I suppose, some fresh air does sound nice,” Rarity said before heading upstairs.
“Where are you going?” Spike asked.
“Well I can’t very well go in this attire,” Rarity said as she went upstairs.
As Rarity entered her room she immediately got dressed in her walk outfit, taking the time she noticed her poster on the wall.
It was the main reason she didn’t invite anyone besides her friends in here…
It was of the model, Red Jasper, he was everything she wanted in a man, granted she didn’t fully know of his personality outside the camera’s and that’s where her affections are uncertain, but his looks…
Muscles, face, poise, smile, among other things, he was the full package.
If only she could have a man like that, it was selfish, she knew, but she wanted a man who would treat her like royalty.
“Rarity! You ready yet?!” Spike eagerly called from the other side of the door startling her.
“Yes dear, hold on,” Rarity said with a sigh before she got on a sunhat and she exited the room with the leash usually reserved for Opal.
It’s a good thing it never needed to see use, given that Opal doesn’t like walks.
Spike eagerly ran about, sniffing and occasionally peeing to mark his territory.
“I smell another dogs pee here! I need to mark it again,” Spike said as he pee’d again.
“Honestly, how can such a small dog hold so much urine?” Rarity said.
“You’d be surprised about what we dogs are capable of,” Spike chuckled.
“Indeed,” Rarity chuckled as well before she looked across the street and saw a couple taking a walk… and her mood went downbeat.
They seemed like a normal couple, but they had something Rarity distinctly lacked.
A love life, it was odd, all her friends assured her she was model material, a beautiful person, but she’d never had a lover, a minor date that tried to go that route on several occasions in an uncomfortable way… but no real lovelife…
She isn’t some thirsty trollop, but it really wouldn’t hurt to have a hunky man sweep her off her feet and give her the night she had always secretly longed for, but who?
“Rares!” Spike’s voice cut through her thoughts and she snapped out of her daydream long enough to narrowly stop before a truck almost hit her.
“Are you crazy lady? Pay attention!” The truck driver said before leaving.
“Sorry!” Rarity called before turning to Spike.
“What were you thinking about that nearly got you pancaked?” Spike asked.
“I… would rather not talk about it…” Rarity sighed before leading Spike back home.
As they walked however Rarity was starting to get tired and spotting a nearby bench, decided she should go there and relax from her near-death experience.
“Spike? Would you like to run about for a little bit?” Rarity asked.
“Sure!” Spike exclaimed and Rarity let Spike off the leash as she sat.
“Don’t wander too far!” Rarity told Spike “And stay out of the road,” She added.
“Got it!” Spike replied as he ran around the grass, rolling in it and jumping about.
“Alright Rarity, just focus,” Rarity said trying to center her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Spike ran over to a patch of dirt and began digging.
“Oooh! I bet there’s a bone hidden here!” Spike said as he dug, he paused when he saw green glowing and he curiously dug some more and eventually found it was a small green rock, curious, it was kind of pretty though, maybe Rarity would like it!
So Spike scooped it into his mouth and ran over to Rarity and hopped up on the bench with her.
“Hey! Rares! Lookie at what I found!” Spike said.
“Hmm? Oh hey Spike, what did you find?” Rarity asked.
“This!” Spike deposited the rock next to her.
“Oh… it certainly is interesting,” Rarity was hesitant to touch it due to the dog slobber, so she got out a wet nap from her purse and picked it up.
As she examined it it looked quite pretty with a light lumescience.
“My my, I could certainly see this on a necklace, where did you find this gem?” Rarity asked.
“I found it while digging,” Spike said.
“Well, I will definitely use this, thank you dear,” Rarity kissed him on the cheek and he got a lovey-dovey look on his face.
“Now come along dearie, we should head home,” Rarity said.
“Home!” Spike said hopping off the bench.
“Wait! I need to put you back on the leash!” Rarity called chasing after him.
After that fiasco, they arrived home and Rarity looked tired.
“Sorry about that, I get excited alot,” Spike said sheepishly.
“It is fine, if you’ll excuse me, I must rest upstairs,” Rarity said before going up the stairs.
“Want me to come?” Spike asked and Rarity froze.
‘What if he sees the poster of Red Jasper?!’ Rarity thought, feeling a little panicked.
“U-um, actually dear, if you wouldn’t mind I need to rest alone for now, but since Fluttershy is away watching Opal for the day you can sleep in her bed,” Rarity said hoping he’s okay with that.
“Oh… ok,” Spike shrugged and walked over to Opal's bed and laid down.
“Thank you,” Rarity said before heading to her room.
As she went in she fell back on her bed and looked at the ceiling, she was tired, but also somehow still on the thought track of Red Jasper, and how he would be the man for her, maybe with chosen personality aspects.
“Oh, why can’t I just make the man of my dreams out of thin air…?” Rarity asked.
She then rolled on her side only to feel something in her pocket, pulling it out she saw it was the shiny green rock from before, with a sigh she put it on the nightstand next to her.
Then she undressed until she was bare to cool off, and then she fell back on the bed.
“I need to stop indulging in this, he’s a model and I am not… yet, not to mention he’s already spoken for if the grapevine is a reliable source to go by…” Rarity sighed before looking to the poster of Red Jasper.
“I wish I had a man like you, crafted down to my exact needs,” Rarity sighed.
And she decided she’d do it… at least one more time.
She began to fantasize about her ideal man, she shut her eyes and began muttering the things she wanted.
Not noticing the stone lit up a little when it heard her wish, and then it fired a small magical sphere and it flew through Rarity’s door without damaging it or making a noise.
Spike had just finished drinking out of his waterbowl and he was on his way back over to the small bed over near the mirrors in the living room.
And that’s when the small magic sphere flew through the room and landed in Spike’s side knocking the puppy over with a yelp.
“Huh?! What the?!” Spike looked around for the source of the force that knocked him over, but saw nothing “That was weird… what just-” Suddenly Spike glowed brightly and he looked at himself in surprise.
For some odd reason, Spike suddenly came to mind, the cute little dog, and for some weird reason, Rarity felt like crafting her man out of him… odd…
“Perhaps it is… my mind wanting to be creative with Spike being the building blocks, ah yes, that must be it… I shall craft him within my mind, into the ideal man!” Rarity murmured as she lay there “Well… for starters, he should be human, I find the idea of beastiality unappealing,” Rarity thought.
And the rock glowed when it heard that…
“H-huh?! What’s happening?! I-” Spike suddenly cried out as he was lifted into the air by the magic and he glowed brightly, his body, hidden by the glow started shifting into a human shape.
His paws became hands and feet, he got bigger, his ears became smaller, and his snout flattened, when the spell finished and he was dropped on the ground he looked like a purple and green boy.
“H-huh?!” Spike looked down at himself and he got up on his hands and knees and crawled over to the mirror, looking in the mirror he saw a young boy looking back at him “What happened to me?!” Spike exclaimed.
The boy appeared in Rarity’s mind.
“My, he’s an adorable little kid indeed, however I imagine his dog-like tendencies might cross over to his human form… well to alleviate that possibility, perhaps he should lose the dog tendencies and be more human-like…” Rarity added.
Spike began to glow again, this time in his head and he gripped his head with his hand.
“Agh! What now?” Spike asked before he felt all his dog habits fade away, in another moment human habits took their place and soon Spike felt the pain ease.
He looked at the mirror again… and stood on his legs, now able to consciously be bipedal.
Not to mention while at first he was going to bark and howl in distress over what was happening to him, now that seems too much like… dog behavior?...
“What is happening?” Spike asked himself.
“Well now that that is done with, let us start building him up, I very well cannot date a boy who looks as though he is eight… hmm, perhaps he should be my age, maybe a year older? Twenty sounds fine,” Rarity thought with a smile.
Spike cried out again as he felt a glow overcome him once more.
“Not again!” Spike cried and then he noticed the mirror was getting shorter… or he was growing taller!?
He grew taller and taller and his limbs lengthened, his waist and chest broadened and became more defined, even his face shifted into a more adult-like appearance.
When the glow receded again he was now an adult, looking down confirmed that as well.
“Yes yes, he’s much more datable now, he’s kind of cute as a grownup as well, but if I want the man of my dreams, I have to make some more… adjustments…” Rarity said “Hmm… let us start with that face, voice and hair… He is a little handsome, but I want more, I want the face of a man you’d see on a calendar or a magazine, I want a man with a charming, flawless face and while green isn’t my color it oddly fits him, he can keep it but I want a more professional haircut, and his voice, I want a man with a suave charming voice I could melt to” Rarity began.
Spike grunted as the glow happened over his face this time and he felt it shift around, it thankfully wasn’t that painful though.
He also felt his hair shifting around as well.
“Why is this- ack… my voice?” Spike noted his voice was different now.
When the glow cleared he looked up and saw something jaw-dropping.
He looked amazing! His face was like that of a model! And his hair too!
It was odd having such a handsome face on an average body.
But somehow Spike knew that wasn’t going to be a problem soon…
“Oh yesss, that face will do nicely, next up… how about his upper body… Oh yes, the part I’ve been waiting for… I want him to have muscles not too much like a wrestler or a bodybuilder, but rather of an adonis, a studly man with a trim, lean and muscular figure, muscles that I could hug and feel safe in.” Rarity said, and the rock obeyed, getting to work…
Spike already anticipating it fell to his knees and cried out as another glow overcame his upper half and he saw the muscles in his body beginning to swell and grow.
His arms bulged out, his shoulders broadened, his chest grew some impressive pecs, his back swelled with muscle, and his abs bulged out into an alluring six-pack.
“Now he seems a little misbalanced… let’s fix that, with an equally impressive lower half, including his member…” Rarity sighed happily at the thought.
Spike cried out but this time it was different, looking down at his glowing lower half he saw his legs bulking up, he felt his butt harden and firm up, and he saw a certain part of his body lengthen and widen, he wasn’t impressive before but now he was more than impressive.
He looked up at the mirror and saw himself, possessing the body of a total heartthrob!
“Magnifique! Simply wonderful! But now comes the most important part, personality… and I know what I want from him…” Rarity said getting ready.
“I want him to be confident, smart, mature, brave, humble, loving, knows any and every kind of way to love me, charismatic, willing to treat me like a queen but not to the point of debasing himself or going crazy, a gentleman, a golden heart, and willing to do anything with me, and most importantly…. I want him to have eyes only for me, he’ll never cheat, never stray, I… am his only love,” Rarity muttered with a smile.
Spike grunted as he held his head and a powerful glow came from within.
“What’s happening to me?!.... I don’t know… I… I…I-I… love!.... RARITY!” Spike shouted before collapsing onto the floor.
“He… is perfection incarnate…. But before I end it, I must say, Spike doesn’t fit him now, I want a man with a name befitting his regality…
“…His new name is… Emerald!” Rarity finished.
Emerald stood up and shook his head before looking at the mirror.
And seeing his new form, he smiled and struck a pose.
“I don’t know what happened… but it feels great! Now… time to visit my queen,” Emerald said taking one last look at his bare form before making his way upstairs.
“Hmm…” Rarity sighed sitting up, not noticing the stone had vanished she stretched out “Ahh, that was quite refreshing, well I suppose I’ve fantasized enough, time to go see if Spike is ready to go play fetch I suppose,” Rarity was about to get up when suddenly her door opened and she looked to see the man who she just dreamed up standing there.
“I have arrived milady,” He said proudly.
“W-wh-what the?! Who are you?!” Rarity exclaimed covering herself up with her blankets.
He chuckled and walked over. “I am Emerald, surely you’d remember me, my love,” Emerald said.
“Your love?” Rarity said.
“Yes, after all, you imagined me with every detail in mind…” He said in his suave voice.
“Y-you… wait… I used Spike to make the ideal man in my mind… does this mean… Spike?” Rarity whispered still on guard.
“Yes, I am now the man of your dreams,” He said.
“B-but you’re still-” Rarity stuttered.
“Spike? Yes, but now I am everything you wanted, and so are you,” He said leaning in.
“Wh-what do you mean?” Rarity said.
“I was always so shy to admit this when I was a dog, but… I love you, with all my heart,” He said.
“I-I…oh my…” Rarity now not blinded by panic finally took note of the man before her, he had a figure like a greek god and the face of a model, and the personality of a gentleman if her wishes from before were anything to go by… in other words… he’s the ideal man…
“Th-this is wrong, I didn’t mean to do this to you,” Rarity said as he leaned in closer.
“Trust me, I am glad you did this, because now we both have the lover of our dreams…” Emerald said before connecting their lips.
Immediately Rarity felt such good feelings course through her that it wasn’t long before she gave in and kissed back.
A powerful kissing match began with the two kissing fervently, he reached his hand around and gripped her bottom and she gasped.
Normally she’d be indignant about somebody touching her in that way, but he did it in a way she practically melted under his touch.
He then reached forward and pulled her chest to chest with him and he straddled her, and she sighed happily as she felt his strong body encompassing her.
He ran his hands down her back and then they broke the kiss and while she was too dazed to reply he bit her neck and she practically came from all the sensations he was encompassing her with.
“Does it feel good milady?” He asked.
“Yes!... It’s everything I’ve ever wanted! Please, more!” She cried.
“As you wish,” Emerald said and he lined up and entered her while he sat on her lap.
She almost screamed but she held it in and clutched onto him, surprisingly it wasn’t as painful as she thought it would be… but now that she had him, she wanted nothing more than a full day of being drowned in his love.
As he picked up speed and he continued to love on her in ways she could only fantasize about.
When he finally came, he came hard and left her feeling like she was filled to the brim, and when she came, she had never felt more pleasure than that moment.
She fell back onto the bed, panting heavily from the sheer pleasure she just endured.
As he sat beside her in probably the most alluring on his side way and she looked at him with a fond smile.
“Well my darling? Was that the best time you ever felt?” Emerald said.
“It was, thank you Sp-Emerald,” Rarity said.
“Shall we cuddle or would you rather-”
“Nono, cuddling sounds nice,” Rarity said and he happily scooted closer and she rolled on her side as he embraced her from behind and kissed her on the cheek.
She didn’t know how this happened, but boy is she glad it did.
Two days later
“Why isn’t Rarity picking up the phone?” Twilight asked as she drove to her friend's house “I hope she isn’t mad I got held up and had to spend an extra day,” Twilight made her way up to the house and she got out of the car and she walked up to the door and knocked.
“Rarity! I’m back!” Twilight knocked, no response “Rarity? Hello!” Twilight called, still no response, figuring she must be elsewhere right now Twilight was going to wait some more when she heard thumping inside the house.
“Huh?” Twilight said taking note of this “I’m coming in Rarity,” Twilight said and she entered.
She gasped when she saw the place was a mess, normally Rarity kept this place well and tidy, but it looks like this place was neglected, why?
“Rarity!” Twilight made her way upstairs as she heard more thumping, she made her way to the bedroom and she opened…
And saw Rarity in the midst of intercourse with a mysterious man.
“Huh? Oh dear! Close the door!” Rarity said loudly.
“S-sorry!” Twilight shut the door.
A half an hour later Rarity and Emerald were heading downstairs and Twilight was waiting at the kitchen.
Both Rarity and Emerald have put on clothes thankfully.
“Twilight, have you never thought to check for ties on the door?” Rarity said sounding miffed.
“Sorry, Rarity, and um… whoever you are, but I hope you didn’t forget to take care of Spike during… this,” Twilight gestured to the handsome man next to her.
“Oh trust me, I was well taken care of,” Emerald said holding Rarity close.
“....What do you mean?” Twilight asked.
“Um, there’s no easy way to say this Twilight so I’ll just come out with it, this is Spike, your dog,” Rarity said.
Twilight looked confused before chuckling. “Nice one Rares, now seriously, where is Spike?” Twilight asked.
“...” Rarity and Emerald glanced at eachother and then at Twilight.
“I’m waiting,” Twilight said.
“Twilight, it is me,” Emerald said.
“.....What?” Twilight said.
“I was wished into this by Rarity, and now we can finally be together,” Emerald said.
“....WHAT?!” Twilight exclaimed.
The two told Twilight about how Rarity made a fervent wish and it affected Spike turning him into Emerald, as a result, they are lovers now and have almost nonstop lovemaking while Twilight was gone.
“There’s… so much wrong with this, is there a way to undo this?” Twilight said.
“Twilight even if there was I’d turn it down, me and Rarity have a good thing going on here,” Emerald said.
“But Spike, aren’t you going to miss being a dog?” Twilight asked.
“Not really, think of it, I can live longer, I can use toilets now, I can eat human food, I’ve never had chocolate before but now I can have it,” Emerald said.
“Please let me have this Twilight, I want to pursue things with him, I finally have my man,” Rarity said.
“But-” Twilight said but Emerald cut her off.
“Twilight please,” Emerald said.
“....Ok, fine, it’ll take some work but I guess we can say you're a distant cousin of mine, but I hope this doesn’t cause any problems,” Twilight said.
“Trust me Twilight we’ll make as good a couple as Fluttershy and Rainbow Blitz,” Emerald said remembering how those two got together.
“Well, I got work to do since you’re choosing to stay like this,” Twilight said before getting up “Come on Spike,” Twilight said.
“Actually… until you fix up the situation involving me, could I be with Rarity?” Emerald asked.
“Alright, but don’t think I won’t inform Mom and Dad that they may have another family member to help support,” Twilight sighed.
“Alright,” Emerald said.
“And if you get Rarity pregnant then you better be ready to take responsibility,” Twilight informed him.
“She made me the most loyal person to my love when she wished me into this form, I think it’ll be ok,” Emerald said.
“Alright, I’ll be going then, good luck,” Twilight said, honestly still taking it all in as she left.
“Well milady, shall I draw us a bath?” Emerald asked.
“Yes, both of us,” Rarity said kissing him.
Rarity felt something in herself as she kissed him, a fulfillment that nothing else could compare to.
She finally found, the man for her!
