"let me kill them"
they should never have challenged me"
Deep in your mind, Aria Blaze was inmmersed in a sea of confusión and darkness. The voices of his past allies and enemies echoed around him, remiding him of the challenges and battles the trio faced in their rise of power. However, in the middle of the darkness, an unknown force was dragging her deeper, as if drawing her into an endless abyss.
Dark hands wrapped around his human body, immersing her in a black viscous substance seemed to absorb her will and energy. In that moment of weakness and confusion, wast a croosroads, questioning his own purpose and destiny in this new world.
As the dark hands dragged her into the depths of the lake of darkness, a whirlwind of memories was created in his mind. Images of his past confrontations with sirens and other creatures began to flood his mind, reminding him of the battles he had.
However, among those memories of glory and triumph, one in particular stood, one that affected in his life more than any other. That moment marked a turning point in his life, the great loss of their freedom and autonomy, when he got carried away by the words that his older sister. He cheated on her and made her his toy, in his slave, that memory, more than any other, weighed on aria as she was sucked into the darkness of the lake. It was a constant reminder of his own vulnerability and the consequences of his actions. As he sank deeper into the abyss of this thoughts, was faced with the painful truth that, the trio had lost any sign of magic, and now they will die in a world that is not even theirs.
¡¡¡¡¡DAZZLE!!!!!. She swould scream with fury and then be completely absorbed.
Aria woke up suddenly, cold sweat beaded on his forehead while his heart pounded in this chest. The echo of his own scream echoed in the darkness of the room, his hands shook with the memory of saying his old sister's name. For her, that woman was worse than some of his old enemies, his presence was like a shadow that followed her even in her deepest dreams.
With a gesture full of fustration and despair, his hands clung to his head, as if trying to keep the dark thoughts that threatened to overflow. I have never felt such deep fear before, so visceral, and that made her even more angry. Blaming adagio dazzle for his own decisions was temptimg, but he also knew that the real responsibility fell on his own shoulders. It was she who had already desired more power long before adagio took advantage of her loyalty, it was she who heard adagio and they set off a chain of events that cost them quite dearly.
The buzz of the alarm clock slowly faded into the silence of the room, leaving her alone with her turbulent thoughts. His hands were still clinging to his head, as if she could contain the thoughts that threateded to overwhelm her. Every time closed my eyes, images of the past assaulted her, reminding you of your mistakes and regrettable decisions.
With his heavy sigh, he dropped his hands to his sides and looked at the ceiling with a grim expression. He couldn't escape his past, nor the consequences of their actions. Every time closed my eyes, the shadows of her mistakes haunted her, reminding him that there was no escape.
Very tired he decided to get up, have nothing to do, but I took advantage of the fact that I was awake to go to the bathroom. When I arrive and look in the mirror. The reflection of the mirror returned the tired and discouraged look he wore. His eyes, that once shone with malice and determination, now they seemed epaque, lifeless. The shadows under her eyes were witnesses of the exhaustion that consumed her every day. Her pigtails were noticeably unkempt while her stars were about to fall from her head, even the clothes he was wearing the night they were supposed to win were currently dirty and stained with tomato stains, unlike the other two sirens who had dressed in clean clothes and were trying hard to look better, she wasn't even in the mood to do something as simple as that, reflecting his gloomy mood.
The sound of the toothbrush scraping againts her teeth echoed in the bathroom as aria he tried hard to clean every corner of his mouth. It was a habit that he had to adopt 2 months after coming into this world, one that I had initially detested but now he followed religiously. He still remenbered those days when the idea of personal hygiene barely crossed his mind, when he preferred the smell of deaht and decomposition that threatened from his mouth as a form of intimidation.
However, that all changed when adagio suggested that they should act more like humanity. That led her to change her habits, adap to a complete hygiene routine. At firts, I hated the idea of subjecting myself to such discipline, but with the time he got used to it, finding a certain confort in daily personal hygiene.
With notable tiredness he left the bathroom and the went to the only window in his room.
---perfect, another day in this changing and living prison----. He said with notable sarcasm while opening the curtains of hus home and seeing how the streets were still dark and empty.
Now I had decided to go to the kitchen to eat or drink something, when he went out into the hallway and went down the stairs until he reached the living room, aria sighed to herself, looking towards the front door. I wasn't exactly waiting for someone, but I just felt the need to look at her every time I passed by. It had only been 3 months since their failed attack on canterlot high. Anyway, she always stopped in front of the door almost waiting for devil woman and the rainbooms to arrive to finish what the dazzlings had started.
Fortunately that day never came, each time was deliciously disappointed. After making coffee, went up to his room. The house where they were currently hiding had 2 floors, the first one contains the living room, the kitchen and a small bathroom under the stairs while the rooms were on the second floor, sonata's room was to the left, she room was on the right, while the adagio room was in the middle of both, aria was happy to have a place to herself. There was no one to bother her. And that suited very well, finding confort in isolation. It was a refuge for her, he only had his bed and a closet, in addition to having a small box with cryptic novels, monster and ghost hunting documentaries and also keeps books about the types of animals that live on the planet she was currently trapped on. The unknown was terrifying and at the same time intriguing.
I was reading a book of a partivular novel, bieng a murder mystery. She had her own idea of who the cultrip was and the anticipation was killing her. He immersed himself even more in his book until he reached the end of the capther, with the mystery still unsolved and another character being mirdered by the unknown killer.
His two sisters were probably still asleep. She confesed never, but sometimes I envied them, especially sonata. She was always full of energy and her happiness ratiated from her like a bright burning sun eager to shine its light all day long. No matter how much I wanted it, I knew she wasn't like sonata.
Not anymore
That was why he dedicated himself not only to his own survival but also to theirs. Unfortunately they were apparently giving up, sonata wasn't that dedicated to getting her magic back in fact out of the three she was acting more like a human, it seemed like she was the only one seeking revenge againts the rainbooms, she was sure of it and could not allow herself any more defeats. And she knew that adagio did not support her in that.
Not after what happened a month ago.
Aria went up the stairs towards the room of the oldest and leader of the group. I go in and scan the area, but besides the boxes of pills that were in his sister's bed, there was no one else there. She was ready to check somewhere else when her ears caught the sounds of footsteps approaching.
"¿What are you doing in my room?"
Turned around and faced adagio, holding a glass of water.
"¿Why do you have a glass?" asked curiously.
"I wast just thirsty, ¿what do you want, aria?".
Aria shifted a little as she tried to think of the right words to say. "Well..."
Adagio heaved a deep, weary sigh. "This is about and idea to counterattack, ¿not?"
"You didn't have to say it like that", aria grumbled before continuing to speak. "Yeah. I need you help to build a crossbow. It may take some time, but considering the kind of garbage that humans leave almost anywhere-"
"Aria, we're not going to do that, neither me nor you". He said bluntly.
"¡We have to!" Aria insisted as she grabbed dazzle's face. "¡¿You don't remenber how they treated us that night?!" ¡that was a sign! ¡they could arrive at any time! ¡they already took away our magic and now they will surely want our heads!"
Adagio pushed her back slightly before taking a deep breath. Aria I hope another refusal to help or that the leader will discard her ideas again, but what he said next caught her completely off guard.
"You should forget it."
Blinked once, then two. "¿What?"
Adagio opened hus eyes and looked at her intently. The ugly mix of tiredness and frustration that had become commom in their private conversations appeared once again and, as usual, aria hate her.
"I am 7 years older than you and sonata is 5 years younger than us", he would say while doing his typical pose off putting his hands on his waist.
"¿So?"
"You are the second oldest in our family, but you and sonata always depend on me to take care of any plan". Adagio now crossed his arms on his chest. "It's always me".
Narrowed his eyes. "¿what are you trying to say?"
"What i'm trying to say, dear little sister", it's just that maybe you should stop with those silly ideas and start thinking about your own future".
Oh. Ah, clear.
Aria could feel the anger stirring inside her. "¿so you think I can't do things right how to be the leader when you leave one day?"
Adagio shook his head sternly. "I don't think you can, knowing what happened to the only two groups that were unlucky enough
To be led by you. That's why I refuse to help you with your plans until you prove that you can do things right".
Aria's eyes widened in disbelief before she huffed and clenched her firts. "Of course. Of course you would say that. I don't know why I thought that you, among all creatures, would you help me, not after what you did".
"¿Do you really want to mention it again?" Adagio mocked. "What happened that day was you fault, not mine".
"¿¡mine?!" snorted indignantly, raising your voice. "¡you were the one who started it! ¡I trusted you, daz! ¡I always told you that I didn't want anyone, not event you, will tell father anyting!"
"¡I was trying to help you! ¡if could stop being so stubborn, then you would see it!"
"¡I don't want your help, not with that!" Aria exclamed. "You can not" under the head, his stoic voice. "Nobody can"
"¿¡How can I understand when you don't tell me!? I've tried over and over to get you to talk when we're alone, ¡but you always refuse! ¡I'm sick of it!"
Aria's face wrinkled tightly in a mixture of anguish and exasperation, but still didn't find the look of adagio. ¡he wanted his sister to drop the subject now! ¡¿why did they do this all the time?! ¡¿because I didn't understand her?! ¡I couldn't tell him! ¡I couldn't tell anyone!
Aria was about to speak but was interrupted.
"Look, things are still weird after everything that happened at canterlot high. We are all still scared and looking over our shoukders. ¡and I'm surprised that after all the battles and wars we've been in, you still act like a rookie!
Seeing that his younger sister was no longer speaking, adagio decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
A few seconds layer raised his hand and pointed towards the door.
"Go away"
Aria clemched her jaw, but repressed any protest.
I should have known this would be a waste of time.
He purposely bumped into adagio's shoulder while leaving his room. It was something insignificant, but she was too angry to care. Although I never look back, aria knew that her sister was punching holes in the back of her head as she walked down the hallway.
He didn't know how many minutes had passed but his coffee was no longer showing much steam, aria left her cup on a table near the window.
The idea of staying in this world permanently, ¿it was true? ¿they were condemned to spend the little time they had left in their lives living in this world?
Being she too shocked to just lay down and go back to sleep, before even realizing, was wolking from one side to the other, with those thoughts still fresh in your mind. Reflecting on it trying to make a decision. I wasn't a coward, that was for sure. But anyway, a feeling of fear began to invade his body. Along with all that were the frustrated words that adagio had said to her. I didn't know it was worse, ¿how many defeats and humiliations were needed for them to at least achieve a victory?.
Releasing a heavy sigh to calm his stress he decided to go out for some fresh air.
He was silent as he walked down the stairs and walked through the living room. Opening and closing the door as slowly as I could, aria left along the sidewalk illuminated by streetlights. A night walk usually served to calm her down when she had things to think about. Neither sonata nor adagio knew that it used to escape at night while they sleep, since he always made sure to be silent when leaving and returning at whatever time he wanted. And the only thing missing was to be judged as a she traitor again.
Her night walk took her to the park. Although at this time it would be obvious that all the people are sleeping, aria hopes to find somewhere to rest. Maybe some bench or under a bridge, I had already come to this place more than once so it wasn't the first, she liked to pass by when the park was not so populated. That's why he wasn't surprised to find the place literally empty. Without importance, he continued his walk through the park, dimly illuminated by the scattered lights it had.
Used to the shadows and walking at night, he had no problem walking through the desolate place. In a way it reassuring. There was also a slight breeze in the area, creating a pleasant summer night atmosphere. Breathing and exhaling deeply, was starting to feel better. That was until a strange feeling came over she. I couldn't explain it easily, but for some reason had the strange feeling that she was not alone.
Maybe it was the rainbooms that had found her.
As soon as think about it, his concern became more intense. She could never think about what she would do if those girls attacked her while she was alone and without magic to defend herself, even though time had passed since their fight, he could still fell that rain of diamonds hitting his ethereal projection of his eauestrian body...
jumped when heard a sudden rustle of leaves from a nearby bush. Then the sudden sound of footsteps was heard. They were fast and came after she. But when he turned around quickly he didn't look at anything. Swallowing saliva, she feared that perhaps they were surrounding her to leave her with no way out and then attack her at any moment, his spiraling thoughts turned restlessness into panic. The rustling of the leaves continuded, moving from one bush to another, approaching she.
Following she instinct, aria turned around and tried to run away from whatever was there. There was a loud noise and suddenly he fell to the ground. Something attacked her strongly, he could feel his body and that of the creature fall on the grass. When they stopped, she screamed in pain from what must have been fangs biting into the wrist of her right hand. Pushing with all his strenght, came out of the clutches of the enemy, letting out another moan of pain as the claws had torn his left knee. almost immediately, he could feel the warm drip of his blood, and the metallic smell reached his nose shortly after.
Once she released, do not hesitate to flee. Full of adrenaline, don't pay attention to the pain in his wrist or his knee, concentrating on nothing but moving forward and away from the new threat. Beind her there was a deep growl and the loud slap of paws that followend. ¡was already getting closer, there was no way to leave it behind! Even worse was when aria finally paid attention to what was in front of her. Driven be fear, I had been running blind, but now he stopped he approached a corner of the fence that delimitated the park. Before could turn in another direction, was hit.
In the low light, aria could make out the thing that was now closing in on her and she couldn't believe what she saw. Unable to speak, just shaking while pressed against the fence, could see the big teeth shining in the low light, being the last thing aria saw before that creature pounced on her.
