Chapter 3: Hands down to earth
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the United States, but it looks like I don’t have much of a choice. Located in New Jersey is Le Paraclock’s arms. One swipe of those arms and you’re dead meat.
While we were able to find the location of the arms, taking them back was going to be a challenge. Turns out that the arms were being used at a local night club as part of a statue.
Luckily me and my gang have magic on our side, and we have been through worse. Besides, the only thing we have to worry about is the guy who bought the arms. Still, it’s nothing we can’t handle.
The Cooper gang and the mane six established the hideout in New Jersey, where they discussed the plan to take back the Le Paraclock arms.
“Okay, here’s what we know so far,” began Bentley. “A mysterious buyer has bought the Le Paraclock arms and welded them onto the statue at the nightclub. In order to steal them back, we’ll need to get them sawed off of the statue without anyone noticing.”
“Question, how do we get inside without anyone noticing?” asked Rarity.
“That’s where we all come in. Four of us will distract the guards and guests by going out on the dance floor, while the rest of us will get the arms while everyone is busy,” said Bentley. “Any volunteers for the distraction?”
“I’ll volunteer,” said Rarity.
“Same here,” said Rainbow Dash.
“Count me in,” said Sly.
“I guess I’ll help,” said Fluttershy.
“Great, the rest of us will get the arms while everyone else is distracted,” said Bentley. “Places everyone, let’s get this plan into motion.”Later that evening…
Everyone was getting ready for the big heist. Rarity made fancy outfits for the ones that volunteered for the distraction, while Bentley led everyone else to the Le Paraclock arms. Once Sly and the other volunteers made it inside, they kept looking around the nightclub for ways to distract the crowd.
“How are we going to distract a crowd this big?” said Rainbow Dash. Suddenly, Sly saw Carmelita down on the dance floor.
“I think I might have found our way to victory,” said Sly, as he walked towards Carmelita. Luckily, the suit he was wearing made him unrecognizable. “Greetings, Miss Fox.”
“Hello, do I know you? You look familiar,” said Carmelita, who clearly needs to get her eyes checked.
“That depends, do you dabble with police work out of your jurisdiction,” said Sly, who knows how to handle a situation like this.
“I often do,” said Carmelita. “Would you care to dance?”
“Sure thing, ma lady,” said Sly. At that moment, the two opposing sides of the law were hitting the dance floor with all they had.
“Goodness, Sly is quite the accomplished dancer,” said Rarity, amazed at the sight of the two on again off again lovers dancing together.
“Okay Bentley, the distraction is in motion,” said Rainbow Dash, through her ear piece.
“Roger that, Rainbow Dash,” said Bentley, who was with the rest of the mane six as well as Murray. “Okay Murray, you’ll have to saw off the arms carefully.”
“Don’t worry, Bentley. With magic on his side, anything is possible for The Murray,” said Murray. He then carefully sawed off the arms off the statue, and then carried them away. “Okay, get the others out of here.”
“Way ahead of you, Murray,” said Bentley, as he prepared for the ultimate distraction. He then pressed a button on his remote, setting off an explosion in the distance, which caused the party guests to scream in shock. “Hurry, let’s get out of here!”
Back on the dance floor, Sly immediately saw the explosion, and figured out a way to make his exit. “Did you hear that? I guess someone set off the fireworks early,” said Sly, which managed to get Carmelita’s attention away from him. Sly then turned to his pony companions. “Come on, let’s get out of here.”
“You don’t have to tell us twice,” said Rainbow Dash, as they all made their daring escape from the party.
Once they were gone, Carmelita looked behind her, only to see that her dancing partner was gone. “That’s odd, where’d he go?” she asked in confusion. She then found a rose in her hair, which had a familiar looking calling card. “What?! Cooper!”
Back on the outside of the night club, Murray was carrying the Le Paraclock arms over his head while running as fast as possible. As he was running, some of the guards had noticed him, and started chasing him.
“Guys, I could use some help here!” said Murray, speaking in his earpiece.
“Don’t worry, I’m sending out the RC Chopper,” said Twilight, as she sent her own RC Chopper to take out the guards.
Once Twilight managed to figure out how to pilot the RC Chopper, she dropped tiny bombs filled with knockout gas, which managed to take out all of the guards.
“Okay Murray, the cost is clear,” said Twilight, as Murray made his way to the safe house. Once he was inside, Twilight called everyone else through the earpiece. “Okay everyone, we have the Le Paraclock arms with us, report back to the safe house.”
“Roger that, Twilight,” said Sly, as he and the others avoided making contact with the police, who were arresting some of the criminals who were at the party.
Suddenly, Sly heard something in a nearby alley that sounded familiar to him. It was a female voice that the cooper gang knew well, but it was especially familiar to Bentley.
“I keep telling you that putting too much pressure on the capacitor is dangerous,” said the female voice, who was wearing a cloak over her head. “If I had been here earlier, then maybe you idiots wouldn’t have lost the Le Paraclock arms. But at least we have the rest of those parts for my master plan.”
The female then took off her cloak, revealing herself to be… “Penelope?” whispered Sly and Bentley, who were shocked to see Bentley’s ex-girlfriend in the flesh, since the last time they saw her was in medieval England.
As for the ponies, they were confused by how the two knew the pink mouse.
Once the drama was over, Penelope continued her phone conversation. “If you want a raise, then figure out how to find the arms and tail of Le Paraclock, or else your body will be put into the shredder,” said Penelope, who ended the call shortly after. “Ugh, men. You can’t live with them, and you can’t live without them. Let alone make them serve you.”
Once she was gone, Sly and Bentley were already back in the safe house with the others. “There you are! What took you so long?!” asked Twilight.
“Let’s just say, we ran into an old ‘friend’,” said Bentley, who began to tell the ponies about Penelope.
Saying we were shocked to see Penelope after she worked with Le Paradox would be an understatement. Is it inappropriate to call her a complete psychopath? No, no even close. And yet, here she was, still alive, and collecting the Le Paraclock parts for herself. The only question is why is she collecting them?
We explained to our equestrian friends that Penelope was once an ally of the group, and even had a relationship with Bentley. However, once Le Paradox approached her about making millions, she immediately switched to being an evil genius.
The last time we saw her was when we time traveled to medieval Europe, where she was disguised as the Black Knight, and even used her knowledge on time travel to help Le Paradox erase my family history. Needless to say, she was a real loose cannon. We had to watch our backs if we were going to stop her, and make sure that Le Paraclock never sees the light of day again.

Chapter 1: Return to Paris
I should probably just start at the beginning. My name is Sly Cooper, and I am a thief from a long line of master thieves. After my father’s death, I was dumped at the town orphanage, where I met my best friends and parents in crime.
Bentley, the brains of the operation, and Murray, the brawn and getaway driver. Together we pulled off some of the greatest heists in my family’s history, and we more like a family than a gang.
Recently, we faced our biggest challenge in Cyrille Le Paradox, who also came from a long line of master thieves. He once tried to wipe out my family history by time traveling, but we managed to stop him.
However, two years ago, he tried to wipe out a dimension inhabited by talking ponies. He turned into a mechanical monster known as Le Paraclock. With the help of our new friends we managed to destroy Le Paraclock, and his entire empire.
Now, we are about to get the Le Paraclock parts from a new art dealer. I knew that this was going to be a tough job, so we called in a few friends from another dimension. With our skills and their friendship, we were going to get rid of Le Paraclock once and for all.
It was a nice night in Paris, and it was a great night for a heist. A mysterious figure snuck into the local museum, and revealed himself to be… Sly Cooper.
He then activated his binocucom. “Breaker alpha, this is the Wizard. Are you in position, sitting duck,” said Twilight Sparkle, who was still getting used to Sly’s technology.
“This is peking Duck, I read you, blizzard,” said Sly, sarcastically.
“No Sly, you’re Sitting Duck, and I’m the Wizard,” said Twilight.
“I hear you, Lizard,” said Sly.
“No I’m… forget it, you’re not this seriously,” said Twilight.
“Yeah, I’m not. Look Twilight, I know it’s been a while since you’ve been here, but I need you to stay focused. If we’re gonna get to those Le Paraclock parts we’re going to need all the help we need,” said Sly. He then snuck his way to the door and opened it, allowing Bentley and Twilight to come in.
“Thanks Sly, now let us disable the security system so the guards don’t get suspicious,” said Bentley, as he and Twilight made their way to the security computer.
“Red to red, blue to blue, and… done. You’re all set,” said Twilight.
“Thanks guys, for your first time back in the field, you did pretty well,” said Sly.
“Thanks Sly. Murray and Applejack will be waiting for you at the rendezvous point,” said Bentley, to which Sly nodded and made his way to the rendezvous point.
Once he was there, Murray thunder flopped through the ceiling with Applejack on his back. “Greetings citizen, I hope you weren’t harmed by our massive entrance,” said Murray.
“Don’t worry, I kept at a safe distance,” said Sly.
“Great. We’ll clear the way for you and you make your way to the Le Paraclock parts,” said Applejack. She and Murray then used their combined strength to throw furniture at a window in the warehouse they were targeting.
“Great job, thanks guys,” said Sly.
“No problem. You’ll meet up with Rainbow Dash over in the warehouse, we’ll meet you back in the van,” said Murray. Sly then used the (conveniently placed) telephone wire to get to the warehouse, where he met up with Rainbow Dash.
“What’s up, ring tail,” said Rainbow Dash.
“Hey Dash. Let’s get those Le Paraclock parts, and then get outta here,” said Sly, as he managed to pick the lock on the warehouse gate. Once inside, Sly and Rainbow Dash realized that the Le Paraclock parts were missing.
“That’s weird, the parts should be here,” said Rainbow Dash. “This isn’t right! Let’s get outta here!”
Suddenly, Carmelita Fox emerged from her hiding spot. “Freeze, Cooper!” said Carmelita.
“Inspector Fox, as beautiful and unpredictable as ever,” said Sly.
“Long time no see,” said Rainbow Dash.
“I see you brought help when you returned to the scene of the crime, typical criminals,” said Carmelita.
“Crime? We haven’t stolen anything… yet,” said Sly.
“Quit playing dumb with me, I know you and these ponies stole the Le Paraclock parts,” said Carmelita.
“You mean someone already stole the Le Paraclock parts?!” said Rainbow Dash.
“Well we love to stay and chat, but we gotta get outta here,” said Sly, as he and Rainbow Dash made their quick exit. “Well, that could’ve been better. By the way, where are Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy?”
“They should be in the getaway van since they’re done with their distraction,” said Rainbow Dash, as she avoided Carmelita’s shock pistol blasts. The two then jumped into the getaway van, along with everyone and everypony else, followed by Murray putting the pedal to the metal and drove off.
“Where are the parts?” asked Fluttershy.
“Somebody beat us to the punch, they were already gone,” said Sly.
“Are you sure you’re not kidding, cause this is a very serious situation to make a joke. And coming from me, that’s something,” said Pinkie Pie.
“Who would do such a thing?” said Rarity. “I know that they’re shiny and impressively advanced but I don’t know anyone who would do this.”
“Don’t worry, I managed to hack into the security system and found footage of the culprit,” said Bentley, as he showed everyone the footage. “It shows a masked figure sneaking into the warehouse and making off with the Le Paraclock parts.”
“Okay, that answers who stole the parts, but we don’t know where the parts are,” said Applejack.
“Leave it to me, after all, those parts give a magical aura that I can sense with an easy spell,” said Twilight, as she activated the spell. “I’ve located the Le Paraclock tail. It’s West of our location.”
“Then it looks like we’re going West,” said Sly. “Punch it, Murray.” Murray then stomped on the gas pedal, as he drove off to the western side of the European area.
So here we were. Le Paraclock’s parts were all over the world, and we had to find those parts and destroy them once and for all. Luckily, with our Equestrian friends, we can find those pieces of Le Paraclock and finally rid the world of the Le Paradox family for good.
One thing that stands in our way is that mysterious hooded crook. We may not know who they are, but one thing’s for sure, we’re not the only ones who are after those Le Paraclock parts. We’d have to watch our backs if we were going to destroy the Le Paraclock parts and fix the damage this person has done.
Twilight mentioned that the only catch with the spell was she could track down the closest Le Paraclock part. We knew from our first heist of the day that our first stop was Belgium. Funny how magic works sometimes.
Chapter 2: Tail whipping
We needed to locate the Le Paraclock tail, and looking for it was a somewhat easy task. The tail was located in Belgium, specifically in a little village near the middle.
The one holding onto the tail was a rat by the name of Vernon. Kinda sounds like vermin if you ask me. The guy’s a bit of a loose cannon, but me and my friends have been through worse.
Vernon owns several coal mines here in Belgium, and one day of these coal mines is set to be the location of the Le Paraclock tail. It may sound easy, but it could be a bit of a challenge to get that tail.
The Cooper Gang and the mane six made their way to the hideout, where they set up the plan to take back the Le Paraclock tail.
“Okay everyone, we need to find out where the Le Paraclock tail is hidden in this village,” said Bentley, as he showed the map of the village. “So far, the last sighting of the tail was down in the coal mines. The question is where is it?”
“Can’t we just use Twilight’s spell to locate the tail?” asked Rainbow Dash.
“Where’s the fun in using magic,” said Sly. “No offense, Twilight.”
“Non taken. Besides, the spell does have a limit of how much Le Paraclock parts can be tracked down,” said Twilight. “Anyways, if we’re going to find the tail, we’re going to need to do some reconnaissance work.”
“Elaborate, please,” said Rarity.
“We need Sly to take some photos of the Le Paraclock tail and that rat, Vernon,” said Twilight. “Sly and Fluttershy, do you think you could do that?”
“I think it can be arranged,” said Sly. He then looked at Fluttershy, who was looking very nervous about being out on the field. “Something bothering you, Shy?”
“Um, it’s just that I’m not used to the scary animals here. You never know when they might bite,” said Fluttershy. “But on the other hand, I think I can help with the reconnaissance.”
“Atta girl, come on,” said Sly, as he and Fluttershy left the hideout. “Follow me, and don’t make a sound.” Fluttershy nodded. The two thieves snuck there way to the rooftops of a building next to the coal mines, where that rat Vernon was digging with what appeared to be the Le Paraclock tail.
“Amazing. He’s using it as a shovel. Quick, use the binocucom,” said Fluttershy, followed by Sly using his binocucom to take reconnaissance photos of Vernon and the Le Paraclock tail.
“Okay, we got the photos we needed. Now let’s get back to the hideout and figure out a plan to take that tail,” said Sly, as he and Fluttershy made their way back to the hideout. “We’re back, and we got the reconnaissance photos.”
“Awesome, so what have we learned?” asked Murray.
“Apparently Vernon has been using the Le Paraclock tail as a shovel to dig through the mines,” said Sly, as he showed the photos to the gang.
“Genius, he must be using it to dig for diamonds. With that type of metal, it’ll never wear out,” said Twilight. “Getting the reconnaissance photos was easy, but taking back the tail is the real challenge.”
“We’re gonna need a way to distract Vernon and then steal the tail. The only problem is that there’s an alarm near him, so even if we distract him he’ll alert the guards and we’ll get caught,” said Bentley.
“Leave that to yours truly,” said Pinkie Pie. “I will use my cuckoo crazy mind to come up with a distraction while Applejack and Murray get to the Le Paraclock tail and carry it all the way to the hideout.”
“That’s… actually a good idea, Pinkie Pie. But we’ll need somebody to protect Murray and Applejack from oncoming danger,” said Twilight.
“Leave that to me and ringtail here,” said Rainbow Dash, gesturing to her and Sly. “We’ll be on the lookout for danger from high in the sky.”
“Okay, then it’s settled. Now let’s get this plan into motion,” said Bentley. Everyone gathered the gadgets that were needed, and headed outside to execute the plan.
Later that night…
The Cooper gang and their pony friends were in position for the plan, starting with Pinkie Pie getting ready for the distraction.
“Okie dokie loki, I’m-a in position,” said Pinkie Pie, who was dressed like a chef and speaking in a fake French accent with a hint of Italian. She then blew into a huge horn, which managed to get everyone’s attention, including Vernon and his guards. “ Bonjour monami, I am-a the pink chef who came all the way from Paris to share with you the secret of Le city of love.”
Outside of the commotion, Murray and Applejack snuck into the coal mine to take the Le Paraclock tail. “Okay, big guy, do you think you carry this thing to the hideout?” said Applejack.
“No worries, cowgirl. There isn’t anything that ‘The Murray’ can’t lift,” said Murray. With all his might, Murray lifted the Le Paraclock tail while Applejack carried it from behind. “Okay, Sly, we’re ready for your coverage.”
“We’re on it Murray. Come on, Rainbow,” said Sly. He then hopped onto Rainbow Dash’s back, followed by the blue pegasus with the rainbow mane taking to the sky. “So far so good, the guards are all distracted by Pinkie Pie and her cooking.”
“Speaking of which, they should’ve been asleep by now because of all the sugar,” said Rainbow Dash. At long last, Murray and Applejack made it to the hideout with the Le Paraclock tail.
“Success! We’ve got the tail!” said Bentley. He then turned on his earpiece to speak to Pinkie Pie. “Pinkie Pie, you can end the distraction now, we’ve got the Le Paraclock tail.”
“Okay, over and out,” said Pinkie Pie. She then faced the crowd. “I’m-a so sorry everybody, but I gotta go back to my home country.”
She then made her way to the hideout, and took off her disguise. “Not bad for our first real heist,” said Rainbow Dash. “Rarity, did you get the gadgets that we need from ThiefNet?”
“I did, darling. And I made a few adjustments to the tacky designs,” said Rarity. “No offense to this world’s taste, but the shiny colors of the paraglider might give us away.”
“Point taken, Rarity,” said Sly. He then faced Twilight. “Twilight, do you think you can track down the next part of Le Paraclock.”
“One step ahead of you. I’ve already located the Le Paraclock arms, we’re gonna have to go to the United States,” said Twilight, checking the globe toy that the hideout had. “More specifically, we have to go to a place called New Jersey.”
“We better get going, because the police are on their way,” said Rainbow Dash, who was looking out the window.
“Alright, everyone in the van,” said Sly, to which everyone obeyed and made their way to the Cooper getaway van.
Things were looking good for us. We managed to get the Le Paraclock tail. As for Vernon, he was arrested by the police for possession of illegal spices. So while he did his time, we made our way to the USA.
The last sighting of the Le Paraclock arms was in New Jersey at an auction, being sold to an unknown buyer. Thankfully, Twilight was able to locate the arms.
The spell she used was able to track the arms in a penthouse. So while it can be done, this heist might be a bit tricky to pull off. Still, we might be able to pull this off if we stick together like a team.
