The Ninjas and Monks were currently on the roof of a building facing each other.

“First, I just want to say thanks for your help,” Raimundo told the ninjas.

“Yes, your help was most helpful,” Omi said with a smile.

“You’re welcome, Xiaolin Monks,” Sunset responded.

“Wait, how do yawl know who way is?” Clay asked.

“Your memories speak a lot,” Sunset responded.

“Alright, spill,” Kimiko said impatiently. “Who are you?”

Leo introduced everyone, “My name's Leonardo and these are my brothers Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo.”

“What up,” Mikey piped up, which resulted in Raph hitting him.

“Aren’t those the names of famous painters from the Italian Renaissance?” Kimiko asked.

“Yeah. Our father was into Italian painters,” Donnie explained.

Leo continued, “This is April O'Neil.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Casey Jones,” Raph continued.

“New York’s number one vigilante.”

“Karai,” Donnie continued.

“Pleasure.”

Mikey continued, “Shinigami.”

“You can call me Shini.”

“Keno,” Leo continued.

“Sup.”

“Gabby,” Raph continued.

“Hola.”

Donnie continued, “Zach and his sister Caitlyn.”

“What's up?” Zach said.

“Hi,” Caitlyn said.

“Buffy,” Mikey continued.

“Nice to meet you.”

Leo continued, “And Carter and his sister, Angel.”

“Sup,” Angel said.

“I'm Sunset Shimmer,” Sunset introduced herself. “That's Twilight Sparkle.”

“Hello,” Twilight greeted.

“Applejack.”

“Howdy, partner,” Applejack said as she tipped her hat.

“Rainbow Dash.”

Rainbow greeted, “What's up.”

“Fluttershy.”

“Hi,” Fluttershy meekly said.

“Rarity.”

“Charmed, darlings.” Rarity flipped her hair.

“And Pinkie Pie.”

Pinkie smiled, “Hi, nice to meet you.”

Twilight then directed to Spike, “And this is Spike.”

Spike scampered over and sat in front of them.

Kimiko instantly got down to pet him, “Hello, little doggy.”

Raimundo stepped forward, “I'm Raimundo Pedrosa, leader of this team. The yellow roundhead is Omi.”

“Greetings, new friends,” Omi greeted them as he bowed.

“She's Kimiko Tohomiko.”

“Hey,” Kimiko said to them.

“And the big dude is Clay Bailey.”

“Howdy,” Clay said as he tipped his hat.

“Hello, dragon down here,” Dojo said, getting their attention.

“And this is Dojo,” Raimundo concluded.

“Whoa, is that a talking dragon? Cool,” Zach asked, which caused Caitlyn to glare at him.

“Why yes, I am; thank you for the compliment,” Dojo responded.

“This is trippy,” Carter whispered to his sister.

Shinigami came forward to Kimiko, “Tohomiko? As in Toshiro Tohomiko, the Japanese video game tycoon?”

“That would be my dad,” Kimiko admitted.

“Ooh, I love his video games,” Shini said.

“Yeah, his video games are the coolest,” Mikey piped up.

Clay approached Applejack, “Thet wuz sum might liftin' thayure, lil' lady.”

“Thanks, partner,” Applejack replied.

“Okay, now that we're getting acquainted, how about some answers,” Raph said impatiently.

“I agree, we should get some answers here,” Raimundo told them.

“Very well, but not here,” Leo told them. “Let's head to our place and talk.”

“Why yes, thank you so much for inviting us to your home,” Omi thanked him.

So the ninjas led the monks down to street level, where they entered an alley.

“So, which one of these buildings do you live in?” Omi asked.

“None of them,” Raph answered.

The Monks then saw Donnie removing a manhole cover.

“Right this way, please,” Donnie said as he climbed into the sewer.

“Ew,” Kimiko said in disgust as the others went down.

“Such foul odour for a home,” Omi said.

“Some of us were like that as well at first,” Buffy admitted.

“But don't worry, you'll get used to it,” Rarity encouraged.

They went down into the sewer one by one, much to the Monks' disgust. They tread through the sewers until they reach the abandoned railway station. They then finally made their way to the lair.

“Welcome to the Turtle Lair,” Mikey presented their home.

“Dude, look at this place,” Raimundo said in awe.

“This place is unwell,” Omi said. That made everyone look at the monk in confusion.

“I think you mean, 'this place is sick',” Raimundo corrected.

“That too,” Omi acknowledged.

“Looks like a men's bachelor pad,” Kimiko pointed out.

“Sweet place ya got,” Clay said.

“Thanks, it's our home,” Raph said.

“Well, you clearly don't keep it clean enough,” Kimiko said.

“Hey, we did our best,” Mikey complained.

“Uh, considering you make most of the mess,” Raph pointed out.

“Well, it's a good thing you have these girls here,” Omi said.

That statement got the girls, even Kimiko, very angry.

“What's that supposed to mean?” Sunset said with a scowl.

Before Omi could answer, Raimundo grabbed Omi and stuffed a sock in the monk's mouth.

“He meant nothing,” Raimundo said on Omi’s behalf before glaring at the young monk with gritted teeth, “Right Omi!?” Omi nodded, clearly scared at the girls’ faces.

“Good answer,” Angel said.

“Otherwise, I have some venom with your name on it,” Karai said as she showed her snake arm.

Omi was afraid of the girls, so he kept his mouth shut.

Leo said, “All things aside, how about we sit down and tell each of our stories.”

So everyone sat down.

“So, you go first,” Raimundo told them.

Leo told the Monks about their origin. They were once regular turtles until they came into contact with the mutagen substance, transforming them into mutant turtles and turning their Sensei into a giant rat.

“And so we stayed in the sewers for fifteen years, training in Ninjitsu to defend ourselves,” Leo told them.

They then explained the many battles with the Kraang, mutants, the triceratons and other foes. Also how they met April, Casey and the others.

“Whoa, y'all fought uh lottuh enemies,” Clay said.

“Including alien robots,” Raimondo asked.

“Told you they were real,” Dojo said.

“Yes, but you've clearly triumphant. As your father taught you well,” Omi praised.

“Yes. He was Master Splinter, Hamato Yoshi,” Leo declared.

Omi immediately gasped, “Hamato?”

Kimiko chimed in, “As in the Hamato Clan?”

“You know about the Clan?” April asked.

“Yes. I have read about the Hamato Clan in the scrolls in the temple. They highly praised the Clan’s good deeds,” Omi explained.

“I heard about the Hamato Clan while growing up in Tokyo,” Kimiko said. “But the Clan was destroyed so many years ago.”

“Yeah, well, not completely,” Raph told them.

“The Foot Clan almost destroyed the clan,” Leo told them.

“The Foot Clan?” Raimundo asked.

“The criminal organisation?” Kimiko said.

“You know about the Foot Clan?” Karai asked.

“I've heard they were this criminal organisation in Japan,” Kimiko said. “But that's all I heard.”

“Don't let the name fool you; the Clan's dangerous,” Karai told them. “Especially their former leader, Oroku Saki, the Shredder.”

They then told them how Saki was taken in and grew up with Yoshi. Then, they both fell for Tang Shen and how she chose Yoshi, thus the two getting married and having Miwa. This led Saki to learn of his true heritage and rebuild his foot, which led to him accidentally killing Tang Shen and stealing Miwa, leading Yoshi to come to New York.

The monks were in tears when they heard the story.

“I can't believe Saki would do that,” Raimundo said.

“That no good varmint,” Clay said.

“What became of Miwa?” Kimiko asked.

Karai stood up, “Well, you're looking at her.”

The Monks gasped. Kimiko asked, “You're Hamato Miwa?”

Hana spoke up, “Not only that, Yoshi was also my uncle.”

“Your uncle!?” The Monks said.

“Yeah, I was surprised when I found out I had a giant rat for an uncle or that I had four giant turtles for cousins,” Hana said.

“That some mighty strange family y'all have,” Clay said.

“Hey, all families are strange,” Hana pointed out. “But I wouldn't trade this one for anything else.”

The turtles felt touched as Raph put his arm around the girl.

“Aww,” everyone said, loving the sweet moment.

“Yes. Better than being with Shredder. After Shredder took me, he renamed me Karai and raised me to think Splinter was the one who killed my mother,” Karai explained. “But then, I learned the truth sometime after meeting the turtles.”

Karai explained how she tried to take down Shredder alone and got mutated. Then, she brainwashed her. Eventually, she took over Shredder's empire with the intent of taking him down.

“So I rebuilt the Foot to take Shredder down and cripple his empire,” Karai explained.

Then they told the Monks how the Shredder mutated himself into Super Shredder, leading to them fighting him and Splinter's death. The monks were sad to hear about Yoshi.

“We're sorry about your father,” Omi apologised.

“Thet's mighty sad, y'all,” Clay said as he held his hat respectfully.

“Thank you,” Leo said.

Leo then told them how they all infiltrated Shredder’s mansion to face Shredder for the last time.

“So, in order to protect everyone we cared about, I took down Shredder, for good,” Leo said.

The Monks were shocked by what they heard.

“You did what you had to do,” Raimundo said.

“Yeah, I did,” Leo acknowledged.

“So, what about you girls?” Raimundo asked the Rainbooms.

“Yeah, like, how can you use those amazing powers?” Omi asked.

Sunset answered, “It's all thanks to these,” she pointed to her geode. These geodes grant me and my friends’ powers.”

“What kind of powers?” Clay asked.

Sunset explained, “I can see into people's memories. Twilight can levitate things, Applejack has super strength, Rainbow's very fast, Rarity can make diamond shields from thin air, Fluttershy can talk to animals, and Pinkie can make sprinkles explode.”

“Make sprinkles explode?” Kimiko asked in confusion.

“I can confirm it, for I have seen them explode before my very face,” Omi said.

“So where does the magic come from?” Kimiko asked.

“A magical land called Equestria,” Sunset answered.

“Equestria?” Dojo asked. He then remembered. “Oh yeah, I remember that place.”

“Wait, you've been to Equestria?” Leo asked.

“Yeah, I've been to Equestria before with Grand Master Dashi. Lovely place. The ponies there were very welcoming,” Dojo explained.

“Wait, ponies?” Clay asked.

“Yeah, Equestria is inhabited by talking ponies. Different kinds like earth ponies, pegasai and unicorns,” Dojo said.

“Sounds like a place for little girls,” Kimiko said.

“It's real and has powerful magic,” Sunset explained. “I should know; I’m a unicorn from Equestria.”

The Monks gasped. Sunset then explained how she used to live in Equestria but then came to Canterlot City instead. But she left out the parts of being evil and trying to take over Equestria.

“Eventually, we met the turtles and began training with them, becoming kunoichi of the Hamato Clan,” Sunset finished.

“Whoa, talk about earning your place,” Kimiko said impressed.

“So now you know about us. Now let's hear about you guys,” Raph suggested, wanting answers.

Raimundo began to explain, “We’re monks from the Xiaolin Temple. We're trained to in Kung Fu to become elemental dragons.”

“Elemental dragons?” Fluttershy asked.

“Like those powers you guys used?” Keno said.

Raimundo answered, “Yes, each of us have been chosen to train to become a Xiaolin Dragon of each element. Omi's the dragon of water, Kimiko's the dragon of fire, Clay's the dragon of earth, and I'm the dragon of wind.”

“We're also trained in using the Shen Gong Wu,” Omi said.

“You mean those items you used?” Pervis asked.

“Yes. They are powerful objects that can be used for good or evil,” Dojo explained.

“They were used thousands of years ago by the great Grand Master Dashi,” Omi told them.

“Wait,” Twilight realised as she turned to Dojo. “You said you knew this, Dashi.”

“Of course, I helped him out,” Dojo replied.

Twilight then turned to Omi, “And you just said Dashi was around thousands of years ago.”

“Of course,” Omi replied.

“Then, that would mean...” Twilight realised.

“Yeah, I am a fifteen-hundred-year-old mystical dragon,” Dojo boasted, much to everyone's shock. “But I don't look a day over a thousand.”

The ninjas got over the shock and let the Monks continue.

“Dashi used the Shen Gong Wu to defeat the Heylin Witch, Wuya,” Omi continued. “Which resulted in his triumph, trapping Wuya in a puzzle box. After that, Grand Master Dashi hid the Shen Gong Wu around the world.”

“Our job is also to find all the Wu before the bad guys can,” Kimiko explained.

“So how do you find them?” Donnie asked.

“Thanks tuh Dojo hare,” Clay said.

“I can sense when a Shen Gong Wu has activated and can track it down,” Dojo explained.

“So you just follow the gecko around?” Casey said.

That made Dojo angry, “Gecko!?” Dojo then turned big, much to everyone's surprise and faced Casey, “DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME A GECKO!”

Casey was pretty scared, “G-g-got it.”

Dojo shrank down to his normal size.

Raimundo placed an arm around Casey's shoulder, saying, “I've been there, dude.”

“It's always the little guys that have a big temper,” Gabby teased Casey.

“Okay, now we know who we are and what we do,” Spike pointed out.

“But why are you here in New York?” Sunset asked.

“Because a new Shen Gong Wu has revealed itself,” Dojo said as he got out the Shen Gong Wu scroll.

“What is that?” Pervis asked.

“And did you just pull it out of your skin?” Angel pointed out.

“Ugh,” Rarity said in disgust.

“This is the ancient scroll of the Shen Gong Wu. It holds all the knowledge of the Wu and what each one can do,” Dojo said as he opened the scroll. Everyone was surprised by the moving figure on the paper. “The Wu we're looking for is the Genie Moo. Whoever uses it can change their enemy's personality into their opposite. But the results can be totally unpredictable.” Dojo placed the scroll away.

“According to Dojo, it's hidden somewhere here in the city,” Raimundo explained.

“But findin' it iz hayuder than findin' uh needle in uh haystack,” Clay pointed out.

“New York is a big place. So yeah, it would be hard to find,” Raph agreed.

“It's important that we find it before evil can,” Omi said with certainty.

“Evil. You mean that redhead from the warehouse,” Max pointed out.

“That was working with Stockman,” Rainbow said.

“His name is Jack Spicer,” Raimundo explained. “He's been our enemy from the beginning. It started when he released Wuya from her puzzle-box prison, and the two had been trying to steal Wu from us. Wuya eventually left him, but that didn't stop Jack from going after the Wu.”

“From what we’ve seen, he's pathetic,” Raph boasted.

“But he does know how to build good robots,” Donnie complimented, causing everyone to deadpan.

“Either way, Spicer isn't the only threat we've faced. There are greater threats than him,” Raimundo pointed out.

Omi stood up, “Which is why we need to find the Genie Moo first!”

“That you must, my young monks.”

Everyone turned to see Master Fung walking out of the Dojo. The Ninjas got out their weapons.

“Intruder!” Casey said as he and Max ran towards Master Fung, intending to attack.

“Wait!” Kimiko tried to stop, but too late.

Casey and Max charged at Fung, who jumped over them and gave them a kick to the wall.

Before the others could do anything, the monks stopped them.

“Dudes, it’s okay. That’s our teacher!” Raimundo told them.

The ninjas looked at the monks and then the master and decided to stand down.

“Greetings, young warriors,” Master Fung greeted. He then turned to the two behind him, “Apologies for that. But you should learn to think before you react.”

“Like that would ever happen,” Gabby said as she and April helped Casey and Max up.

“Nice to meet you, Master Fung,” Leo greeted back.

“Yeah, nice to meet you and all, but how did you get in here!?!” Raph interrogated the master.

“I used the Golden Tiger Claws Shen Gong Wu,” Fung explained. “Apologies for intruding into your home, but I came to talk to my students.”

Suddenly, Hana let out a deep gasp before she squealed, "Eeeeeeeeeee!"

"Aaahhhh!" Omi covered his ears. "Why is Hana making that noise which harms my ears?!"

Hana raced past Omi, spinning him and causing him to fall to the ground. Then she wrapped Master Fung in a hug, holding him off the ground.

"What's up, teach!" She gushed.

Unfazed, Master Fung patted the girl's head, "Uh, yes, I am happy to see you too, Hana."

"HUH?" Everyone exclaimed.

"Wait, you two know each other?" Karai asked in confusion.

"You know Master Fung, Hana?" Raimondo asked in equal confusion.

Hana scoffed, "Well, duh. Who do you think taught me kung fu?"

"What?" Rai, Kimiko, Clay, and Dojo gasped.

Omi sat up, "You are buffing! You never trained at the Xiaolin Temple!"

"That's bluffing, Omi," Raimondo corrected. "And yeah, I gotta agree."

"Same," Kimiko added.

"I find that a might hard to believe myself," Clay crossed his arms.

"I distinctly remember seeing you at the temple," Dojo stated.

"That is because I didn't train young Hana at the temple," Master Fung clarified.

“When I was younger, I was walking down the street of New York when I ran into these thugs,” Hana explained. “I ran, but they chased me. Then they had me cornered. That's when Master Fung saved me.”

Master Fung took over, “I came to New York to search for Shen Gong Wu when I saw young Hana in trouble. So I decided to help her.”

“Master Fung sent those muggers packing. After watching him take them down, I wanted to be skilled like him. So I asked him to train me,” Hana explained. “Master Fung refused at first, but I was persistent.”

“She wouldn't stop bugging me till I agreed,” Master Fung bluntly said, which Hana blushed in embarrassment.

“Okay, maybe I was a little obsessed. But he trained me in Kung Fu,” Hana said.

“And I admit, she was an excellent student,” Fung praised the girl. “After she proved herself so much, I also wanted to bring her to the temple to become a dragon in training.”

“But I couldn’t leave my home, so I declined.”

“I eventually left to return to the temple, but I was proud of the progress Hana made,” Master Fung said with pride.

"Wait," Omi spoke up. "You mean that you secretly trained an outsider?!

Hana snarked at him in Chinese, "Nǐ shì zhèlǐ de júwàirén, huǒjì." (You're the outsider here, dude.)

"More importantly," Dojo coiled around Master Fung, looking hurt. "You had a secret student and never told me?!" His lower lip trembled.

“I apologise for not telling you, but I felt such information wasn't necessary,” Master Fung admitted.

“So... just out of curiosity... what level is Hana at exactly?” Raimundo asked curiously.

Master Fung answered, “She is of Wudai Warrior status.”

“SHE'S A WUDAI WARRIOR?!” the monks said in shock.

“Yes,” Fung answered, recovering from that little outburst.

“Mind exploded!” Omi said.

“You mean 'mind blown',” Mikey corrected the monk.

“That too!”

“You never told us that, Hana!” Zach said, disappointed that Hana had not told them.

Hana smirked, “You never asked.”

“As much as I would like to hear more about Hana's training, why are you here?” Leo asked Master Fung, changing the subject.

“Yes. The reason why I'm here is to tell the Monks that this journey will be different from what they’re used to,” Fung told them.

“How's it any different?” Raimundo asked.

“Aside from the Wu being difficult to find,” Clay pointed out.

“Exactly. But it'll be more than just the Genie Moo. A lot will happen on this journey. This is why you must find the Wu hidden in the city,” Fung told them.

“Even if it takes forever?” Omi asked.

“Even if it takes long. You have my permission to stay long to find the Wu,” Master Fung told them.

“You mean, stay away from the temple?” Dojo asks in fear as he wraps around Fung’s head.

“Just until the mission is complete,” Fung explained.

“So until we find the Genie Moo,” Kimiko summarised.

“It may be more than just that,” Master Fung said. “But I have faith in all of you.”

Fung then tried to pull Dojo off his head, with everyone else trying to pull the dragon off his master.

“Wow, this little guy is strong,” Mikey pointed out while helping.

“Thank you for the compliment, Michelangelo,” Omi said while pulling.

“I think he was talking about Dojo,” Carter pointed out.

“Oh, right,” Omi said in embarrassment.

Thanks to Applejack’s strength, they finally got Dojo off the master, much to his sadness.

Fluttershy picked up the dragon, “Oh, don't worry, Dojo. We're here for you.” Fluttershy nuzzled the dragon.

Fung then got out a glove that had three golden claws on it.

“I trust you all know what to do,” Master Fung told his monks. Then he turned to the Ninjas, “And I trust you to help them.”

“Of course, Master Fung,” Leo said to them.

“We will work hard, Master,” Raimundo said on behalf of his team.

Master Fung smiled in satisfaction. He then put on the glove and raised it, “Golden Tiger Claws!”

Master Fung swung the claws, cutting a portal in thin air. But before entering, Master Fung took off the Tiger Claws and threw it at the Monks.

“You'll probably need them to return to the temple if needed. Good luck, young monks.” With that, Master Fung jumped into the portal, and it closed.

“Ugh, where did he go?” Pervis asked.

“The Golden Tiger Claws can allow the user to teleport anywhere in the world,” Raimundo explained. “So, he's probably back at the temple.”

“So, now what?” Omi asked.

“We continue searching for the Genie Moo. With some additional help,” Raimundo said.

“We are honoured to help you,” Leo declared.

The two leaders shook hands in agreement.

“Then it's settled. But we just need to settle one thing first,” Hana stated. Then she grabbed Omi by the robes and picked him up. “You, little boy, better not say ANYTHING negative about girls, or you're dead meat, dude!”

“Uh, yes, of course, I like girls,” Omi said nervously, getting the message.

Hana let Omi go, “Good.”

This was the beginning of a team-up.
