“Hush now quiet now, its time to lay your sleepy heads, hush now quiet now it’s time to go to bed.” Fluttershy continues to sing to the Cake twins who now lay sleep together in the crib.
The Cakes were catering to a wedding in Canterlot for the next few days and they needed somepony to watch over the twins. Normally Pinkie Pie would babysit but she went to her parents rock farm because her grandmother was feeling ill. Fluttershy was the second pony for the job. Fluttershy slowly lowers her head down and moves the blanket over the twins. They continue to sleep as she backs away. She turns her attention to the nightlight on near them, flick it on, and them walk to the main light and turn it off. No one answers her as she stares into the darkness for a few seconds but then the sound of magical energy finally echoes in the house.
“Twilight? Is that you?” Fluttershy says very nervously as she walks to the bakery hoping her friend decided to pay her a visit.
She slowly moves for the main light for the room and it on. Light fills the clean bakery and shows that no one is in sight. The only oddities are that a single bakery tray and a bunch of knives are scattered on the floor. She sighs in relief thinking that it was only a bunch of ill placed items that fell. as she walks to the tray, she doesn’t see the 2 pair of eyes watching her from the air. Just as she’s about to pick up the tray the sound of wings starts up above her but then quickly disappears into the room she was just in. Once again she stops and stares in fear. This time she is sure somepony else is in here with her.
“Who’s there!? P-please come out.” She says more scared than ever before.
The thought of being alone in the house while somepony may be lurking around in the shadows for something. Fluttershy’s legs seize up and now she can’t move. Her first thought was to run out of the building and find anypony to help her, but her second thought was worrying about the twins upstairs. She couldn’t bear to abandon the house while they could be in danger. With a nervous gulp she slowly regains her focus as walks back into the living room.
“Please come out. I won’t be mad if you show yourself.” Fluttershy says nervously hoping the intruder would give him or herself up.
She was every worried though. The first sound she heard was the sound of magic, the second of the sound of wings. Her first thought it was one of the princesses playing a joke on her. But why would they do something like that? The only logical thing was there was 2 intruders in here with her. She quickly scans the room and figures out the room is empty of life. The only place they could have gone was…
“WAHHHH!!!” A loud cry echoes from the upstairs rooms.
Fluttershy goes into full panic mode. Whoever is here is indeed upstairs and with the kids. More than ever she wants to run away and get help but she also fears what could happen to them, but what could she do by herself? A lonely, timid Pegasus who could barely defend herself rather than including children into the mix. Her thoughts and emotions start to swell up in her causing all sorts of questions to rise:
Why her? What to do? How to approach the problem? Should she get help? Why are they here? Run for help leaving the childs alone or trying to be strong and dealing with the problem by herself? Are just a fraction of what her mind is processing. Suddenly another loud cry echoes and Fluttershy on impulse starts to run upstairs to the kids room.
“Sh-show yourself!” She says loudly as she charges into the room.
As she enters she stops and stares in shock. Sitting on the wooden floor sits a pony wearing a black oversuit with his face covered and only his green eyes show. She notices a darker green horn protruding from the top of his head signaling he’s a unicorn. Fluttershy turns her attention to the crib and panics some more. She notices little Pound Cake floating in the air wrapped around green magic as a knife floats near the child.
“W-hat do-do you w-want!?” She says on the verge of tears thinking the little child is going to die.
Suddenly without warning a large mass falls from above and pushes her to the ground trapping her under it.
“Well, well, well, maybe we can get something for our failed plan..” A harsh colt voice says from on top of her.
She tries to break free of the intruder but his bigger mass keeps her body pinned. The kids continue to cry as the unicorn slowly gets up.
“You just had to come downstairs didn’t you? Do you know how many months we planned this!?” The unicorn snaps at you in an elegant yet rustic tone.
Fluttershy watches as the knife and the child levitate closer to her. Pound Cake continues to cry knowing something bad is happening.
“Please don’t hurt the children I beg of you!” She shouts loudly at the unicorn.
Suddenly the intruder on her back pushes his body down on her more causing her to lose breath. Fluttershy starts to feel the warm breath of the pony on her neck.
“Calm down. We won’t hurt the children as long as you listen to us.” He says as he grabs a hoof full of your mane and tugs it back hard.
Fluttershy cries in pain at his roughness. He slowly turns her head to the side so you can see his purple eyes. He too has his face covered hiding his Identity. The children continue to cry until the unicorn gets fed up with them and conjures up a bubble around them silencing them. Fluttershy watches as they continue to cry without being heard.
“Good I can think better now…as for you miss Fluttershy you had to be nosy and check downstairs didn’t you? You should have stayed up here and we would have just stolen the bits and been on our way…” The pony on top of her says quietly into her ear.
“How d-do you know….me?” Fluttershy asks scared out of her mind.
“HA! Everypony knows about you and those other 5 *Elements of Harmony* Or whatever your called.” The unicorn says putting the filly on the floor but starts floating the knife toward her.
Fluttershy just stares in horror as the knife gets pressed to her throat.
“Just our luck one of the heroes of Equestria would foil our simple plan.” The unicorn says quietly as he stares at her with almost no life in his eyes.
“Doesn’t mean we can’t get something out of her…” The one on her back says in a manner that disgusts her as he nuzzles the back of her neck while breathing into it.
Fluttershy was never used to this kind of contact. She never been around colts to know how they acted. She was blind to how the male species acted around mares. However the way he continued to talk worried her.
“What do you want from me?” She asks timidly.

The unicorn nods his head and grabs the childs with his magic and they both head down the stairs. Fluttershy made no effort to move. She stared unmoving and unblinking at the wall. For the rest of the night she laid on the wooden crying until morning hit and Twilight decided to pay her a visit.
