Monstruos: The Monsters of Equestria

December 24th, Hearts Warming Eve

I'm currently getting this out of the way so I will be able to celebrate the next day.

I want to write down the things that I learned following interviews a few months ago. Before Nightmare Night.

Discord, Starlight, Trixie and Thorax all came to us claiming that they had an encounter, which Discord describes as...... meeting Death.... Huh.....

Either way the others went in to try to confront them as I did the same. Later that night I decided the next day to interview them. I needed to know more. If what they said was true, then it could return!

I first decided to interview Starlight. She was a bit hesitant at first but she began talking. She stated that she saw the corpses and the creatures.... so much death.

Unfortunately she was unable to describe them or any way so I decided to go ahead to Thorax.

I traveled to the Changeling Kingdom and talked with him and well not so much luck. But he was able to talk about "La Muerte ".

Apparently he is literally Death itself and apparently has powerful magic or in other words.... supernatural powers."

Trixie was not helpful. I tried to interview her but she was too scared to talk to me. When I said I wanted to talk about Muerte she ran back into her wagon and slammed the door. Yelling and I quote "Not Intrested!"

Now Discord, this is more things get interesting...... he has remembered everything from that night and apparently has already told Fluttershy.

He told me about the monsters, the first one was Tlahuelpuchi, a witch-vampire creature , who is believed to have origins dating back to ancient times. It can be anyone, discovered only at puberty. During a ceremony, it transforms into animals, often a turkey vulture, to fly and suck blood from its victims like a unique vampire.

He continued to talk about the others before telling me how they defeated him. Combining blasts of magic together shooting him into a portal Discord opened. He doesn't know how he got into Equestria but he is glad he's gone. But either way he said goodbye and teleported me out of Fluttershy's cottage. Before he kicked me out he told a quick tale stating as the followed in a summarized way:

"Luz and Carmen were captivated by Carlos's eerie campfire tale about El Silbon, the entity marked by a haunting whistle that signals death. As the night progressed, they played hide-and-seek in the dark woods, only to fall victim to the very monsters they mocked in their Halloween costumes. Carmen encountered the monstrous figure of her childhood nightmares, while Luz faced a birdlike creature resembling her costume. Carlos, in a desperate attempt to escape, sought refuge in a cemetery, only to confront the harrowing truth of legends coming to life. Senora Miranda, the storyteller of local legends, transformed into a sinister being and sentenced Carlos to a grave fate. The three friends vanished without a trace, lost to the dark forces that lurked in the shadows of their town, forever entwined in the legends that shaped their cultural heritage."

Which ended with the old lady BEING Muerte. And these others are apparently the ones he found dead in the graveyard and the one underneath the dirt was Carlos. Which is disturbing....

Either way I have to finish this quick, I gotta get some sleep for Hearts Warming tomorrow so this is the end of this Diary Log,
